so last night was TNA's Hardcore Justice PPV (i actually enjoyed it by the way) anyway to me the whole thing came off as old ECW guys trying to send a message to WWE that they still had something to offer and overall it seemed very anti-wwe. especially at the end with all the fans chanting "f*** u vince!" anyway there are a lot of old ECW guys i would love for mattel to make figures of like sabu and sandman and balls mahoney (not kahones lol). i feel like its a weird situation as a lot of people would by these figures and wwe owns the rights to ECW but a lot of these guys seemed to go out of their way to spit in vince's face last night. wat do u guys think?

Well Jakks will release alot of these guys as they were scanning wrestlers over the weekend . But most of them will prob never be in the WWE again so i highly doubt they will get Mattel figures .

a) Vince probably doesn't have a clue what happened last night, nor cares.
b) They're making a Savage figure. If they can make a Savage figure, everybody (except Owen and anyone under TNA contract) is fair game as far I'm concerned.
c) By the time Mattel get to the likes of Sandman and Balls Mahoney it'll probably be 4 or 5 years.

If Mattel contacts them we will get them. These guys are not rich and could use the payday i'm sure since most are trying to wrestle indy dates all over the place.

I also enjoyed the PPV too and I really loved it sooo much! it made me proud to be a wrestling fan. i am embarrassed to turn WWE on and say to my friends yeah I like this. today I came home with my friend who doesn't really care much for wrestling and watch Raw and I just felt embarrassed but ECW was that thing that I just loved and was proud to say i am a wrestling fan.
Anywho, I think Jakks will PROBABLY make them down the road. I know things are slow because Jakks just started fresh and they don't have the easy connections to ship things out fast like mattel but I am sure we could see some figures from this show coming out

I'm ok with there not being any Mattel ECW figures getting made, I'd rather them focus on making figures of REAL legends.

The only ECW I'm worried about getting figures from is the one that ended in February.

I don't care about Axl Rotten or Balls Mahoney, but I'd be up for Legends/Elites/Alumni/whatever figs of:
Sabu Terry Funk Mike Awesome Bam Bam Bigelow Chris Candido Lance Storm Spike Dudley Masato Tanaka
Sucks that many of the bigger stars of ECW are stuck in TNA.

I would like an old school Legends Blue Meanie. I think he would make for a dope figure.

I think we can see the guys u have mentioned with the exception of probably Sabu and Spike Dudley but I rather guys in TNA then WWE dancing with Santino and chasing Hornswoggle and doing stupid shyt like when Tommy Dreamer had that puke gimmick and had clown confetti come out once...part of me died inside during that.

Legends series 2 has Terry Funk in it. And I'd like a Bigelow and possibly Lance Storm but that's about it off that list.

Sucks that many of the bigger stars of ECW are stuck in TNA. I think it's wrong to say that the bigger stars of ECW are 'stuck' in TNA. TNA seems like a great place to work and is an alternative platform to WWE where they would be lost in the mix and made to look ridiculous while the 'WWE' style of wrestler is made to look a million dollars.

Maybe because the WWE wants to focus on building it's own talent instead of focusing on never beens. TNA doesn't care about building it's own stars, they'll use guys from the past no problem, they'll take all the air time from the originals and give it to guys who aren't going to make them a dime.

Hey, I don't dispute that at all. But as I said, its wrong to say that ECW's bigger guys are 'stuck' in TNA. For the ECW guys, TNA is a good deal. WWE is definately not the place for the ECW originals.

Or Have a bigger pay check and maybe job, but you still get to wrestle every week and you have a steady paycheck and job. And neither company is going to make you World champion.
