WWF @ East Lansing, MI - Breslin Arena – October 5, 1998 Raw is War kicks off with a video package of last week. It shows the opening promo with Vince McMahon, Vader, The Undertaker, Kane, and Cactus Jack. It also shows Stone Cold trying to get into the building later in the night. Finally, it goes to the handicap main event where The Undertaker and Kane defeated Cactus Jack. When Mr. McMahon is about to fire Cactus, Stone Cold drives out in a Zamboni! Austin tackles Vince as Cactus helps fending off The Undertaker and Kane. The video ends with Stone Cold and Cactus Jack in the Middle of the Ring.
We see a video from earlier tonight. It is Vince McMahon getting out of and limo and telling Patterson and Briscoe tonight all who defy him are going to pay. So not only is Stone Cold Steve Austin facing Kane, but now Ken Shamrock will take on The Undertaker tonight!
At the ringside area we are greeted by Jim Ross and Michael Cole. They hype up another huge broadcast tonight as European Champion Owen Hart squares off against Edge, The Rock will go toe to toe with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, The Undertaker versus Ken Shamrock, and in our main event WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin will face “The Big Red Machine” Kane! Mr. McMahon, Vader, and The Goons walk out to jeers from the crowd.
Vince says Judgment Day: In Your House is right around the corner, and two weeks from this exact day he plans on presenting either Kane or The Undertaker with the WWF Championship. He talks about how tonight he has his own problems to deal with, as an unemployed superstar is running around attacking the stars of the World Wrestling Federation. That man is Mick Foley! He says he knows Mick is here in the building tonight, so he wants him to come out here, right now! Vince waits a few moments until the theme of D-Generation X hits! Vince is confused, but Triple H, Sean Waltman, “Mr. Bad Ass” Bill Gunn, “Road Dogg” Jess James (with a cast) and Chyna do not look pleased. Triple H tells Vince they want Mankind as much as he does because he took it upon himself to attack Sean backstage on Sunday Night HeAT! Sean takes the microphone and tells Vince he’s not going to take this setting down, so if he doesn’t do something about it, they will hunt Mankind down and beat the lunatic out of him! Before Vince could say anything, Mankind appears on the stage. He tells Vince he heard his close friend Cactus Jack was fired by him recently, so he is stepping up to take his place and giving the fans what they want. Vince tells Mankind he doesn’t know if he’s just stupid or trying to get his job back. Triple H interrupters Vince and asks the crowd do they want to see Mankind in action. The crowd cheers as Mankind nods his head so Triple H tells Vince they should give the fans what they want! He tells Vince to have Mankind take on all of D-Generation X in this handicap match! The crowd boos as Vince says that is a great idea and calls for a referee to come out! It is up next!
Break
D-Generation X(w/Chyna and Road Dogg) def. Mankind As we came back from the break Mankind was hammering on Billy Gunn in the corner. Mankind put up a great fight, but he fell to a combination of a Superkick from Waltman and a Pedigree from Triple H.
The crowd booed as D-Generation X celebrated their victory of Mankind. Triple H was given his title belt as Gunn and Waltman held Mankind up by the arms. Triple H then proceeded to drill Mankind in the head with the Intercontinental Championship! DX left the ring with smiles on their faces as Mankind used the ropes to get up.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with The European Champion Owen Hart. Kelly asks Hart about his match with Edge coming up next. Hart tells Kelly he respects Edge, but he is the European Champion, and a loss is not acceptable. Hart tells him he is a fighting champion and he looks forward to his match with Edge, but he is out there to win and he is going to do exactly that tonight.
Break
We see a graphic hyping up our main event tonight where Stone Cold Steve Austin goes one on one against one of his number one contenders, Kane, with The Undertaker at ringside!
Owen Hart def. Edge This was a good bout and it was given a decent amount of time. During the match a ring of fire appeared on the stage as Gangrel made his entrance. In the end Edge missed a corner splash on Hart and hit the referee, before Hart hit Edge with a dropkick. As Hart had his back turned, Gangrel clocked Edge with his goblet! Hart was unaware of this and covered Edge for the three.
After the match Hart was handed his title as Gangrel slipped in the ring. Gangrel was measuring Hart, but Edge got up at the right moment and speared Gangrel! When Hart left the ring a brawled ensured between Edge and Gangrel before multiple staff members broke up the brawl. Hart stood on the ramp confused with the whole situation.
Break
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with The Rock. Kelly asks Rock about his decision to leave The Nation of Domination last week on Raw is War. The Rock told him it was finally time for “The Great One”, “The People’s Champion” to leave those candy ass jabronis in the dust. The Rock says he has heard the millions and millions of people who have wanted to see The Rock go on his own and finally win the WWF Championship. He says if he has to go through D-Lo Brown at Judgment Day: In Your House to do so, then The Rock will do just that! If you smell, what The Rock is cooking.
Brian Christopher(w/Scott Taylor) def. Rey Mysterio When Rey Mysterio went for his signature Hurricanrana, Scott Taylor pushed him off the ropes as Christopher distracted the ref. Brian then rolled Mysterio up and got the three count!
Brian celebrated his win with Scott Taylor like if he just won the lottery. Rey Mysterio looked disappointed in the ring, but has Brian Christopher earned himself a shot at the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship?
Sunday Night HeAT is promoted, and it is promoted that we will see “Double J” Jeff Jarrett square off against former rival Steve Blackman.
Break
A reply is shown of Sunday Night HeAT with The Rock defeating The Godfather, only to be jumped by D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry after the match.
The Nation of Domination makes their entrance and D-Lo Brown has a microphone. He talks about how The Rock sounds so confident now that he is out on his own. D-Lo assures The Rock they are the reason for all of his success in his life. Brown guarantees he will make sure, along with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry and The Godfather, that The Rock knows he made the wrong decision last week. D-Lo caps off the promo by saying coming Judgment Day: In Your House, he’ll be pinning The Rock in this ring, one….two…three! The Rock then makes his entrance to a warm ovation from the crowd.
The Rock def. Mark Henry(w/D-Lo Brown, The Godfather, and Three Women) VIA DQ Despite the size advantage, The Rock put up a great fight against Mark Henry. Mark went for his huge slam, but the Rock reversed it into a DDT. The Rock went for the People’s Elbow, but D-Lo tripped him and pulled him out of the ring. D-Lo and Godfather assaulted Rock on the outside before Mark Henry joined them. Henry ripped apart the announcers table as D-Lo threw Rock into the ring post. Henry then picked Rock up like a rag doll and slammed him right through the table! The crowd gave The Nation heat as they walked off the scene, leaving The Rock out going into the second hour.
Break
We are welcomed to the War Zone hour by Jim Ross and King, who remind us they are without a table because of what The Nation of Domination just did to The Rock. They hype up tonight we will The Undertaker taking on Ken Shamrock, Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam facing newcomer Val Venis in Non-Title action, and they hype we will hear from Stone Cold Steve Austin before his main event versus “The Big Red Machine” Kane tonight! The crowd pops as the theme song of “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” and former Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock.
The Undertaker(w/Kane) def. Ken Shamrock This was a pretty good start to the War Zone and the two meshed well. About halfway through the match Vader came out and joined Kane at ringside. In the end Shamrock turned his focus to Vader, allowing Undertaker to scoop him up and hit a Tombstone for the win.
Following the match The Brothers left the ring as Vader entered the ring. He dragged him to the corner of the ring like last week. Vader then went up top and hit two huge Vader Bombs. Vader left the ring with a smirk on his face, looking into the camera. He said so far two have fallen, and Austin is next!
Break
An ad for Judgment Day: In Your House is played. It is live on pay per view on October 18th. The ad mainly focuses on the Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship, with Stone Cold Steve Austin defending versus both The Undertaker and Kane.
Val Venis def. Rob Van Dam(w/Andrew Martin) Val did his usual routine in his entrance as always today. When Van Dam had the upper hand he would taunt to Martin, saying “This is how it is done.” It should be noted that Dustin Runnels took a seat on top of the stage during the match. Venis smirked at him when he saw him. Finally, as the ref was checking on Venis, Martin kicked Van Dam in the head from the apron. Venis then went to the top and hit the Money Shot!
Venis celebrated his victory as Van Dam rolled to the outside. Martin assured him it was simply and “accident.” Van Dam grabbed his title and stormed off the scene with Martin following him with a smirk on his face. Dustin Runnels continued to stare at Venis with eyes full of hate.
Backstage Michael Cole is with the WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. Cole asks Austin what about his thoughts on facing Kane tonight in our main event. Austin told Cole he must have faced Kane over a hundred thousand times this year, and he has whooped his ass every single time! From Fully Loaded to the steel cage match, Austin tells Cole the result will be the same! Austin then invites Undertaker to drag his dead ass as well, because he has no problem whooping it as well! He says he has cans of whoop ass to go around for everyone from Kane to Vincent McMahon himself! Austin guarantees he will walk out of Judgment Day: In Your House with the WWF Championship, and that’s the bottom line, cuz Stone Cold said so!
Break
A reply from HeAT is shown with The Legion of Doom being announced as the Number One Contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championships. As we went back to the ringside area we see The Legion of Doom making their entrance, taking seats at ringside for The Tag Team Champions’ match.
The Dudley Boyz def. Southern Supremacy(w/Jim Cornette) It was put up or shut up time for Bob Holly and Bart Gunn here. They put up a great effort tonight, but not even Jim Cornette could help them when Bart fell victim to The Dudley Death Drop.
Following the match The Legion of Doom grabbed the WWF Tag Team Championships. They walked into the ring as The Dudley Boyz turned around to notice them. After a brief confrontation Hawk and Animal handed them the titles and wished them Good Luck before leaving. As The Legion of Doom left, Bob Holly and Bart Gunn attacked them from behind! The Legion of Doom ran down and threw them out of the ring to save their opponents. The crowd cheered as Southern Supremacy backed up the ramp.
Up next, WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin takes on “The Big Red Machine” Kane.
Break
Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Kane(w/The Undertaker and Mr. McMahon) VIA DQ Austin and Kane put on another enjoyable match here. As noted before Mr. McMahon came out to the ring with The Brothers for this match. When Austin hit Kane with a Stunner, Undertaker got in the ring and busted Austin open with a huge chair shot!
The crowd booed as The Undertaker stood tall. Undertaker stalked Austin, waiting for him to get up, but suddenly Ken Shamrock, holding his ribs, came out to the ring! He threw hands with Undertaker as Vince ordered for Vader to get out here. Vader followed, but Austin had the chair and he cracked Taker in the back of the head with hit! Austin smacked Taker with it one more time as Shamrock met Vader on the outside. Staff had to separate Shamrock and Vader as a bloody Austin challenged Vince to get in the ring, Raw is War going off the air!

The opening segment was fine, except for one thing for me. If Foley is fired, I don’t believe he would be backstage as that would be odd. I think a sentence stating “Foley walks through the crowd” or something of that nature would be suffice. DX defeating Mankind is perfectly fine, since Mankind isn’t part of the company technically. Owen/Edge would be a fun match, and for a second I was interested in possibly seeing a Gangrel/Owen feud if Gangrel had attacked Owen. However, it looks like Edge/Gangrel is happening. I like Christopher going over Rey as it gives Rey a credible challenger. Plus, a heel Christopher was so annoying that he was great. The Rock/Nation segment was entertaining, though I don’t see you keeping the Nation strong since Rock is being pushed to the main event scene. Poor Shamrock getting demolished by Vader after losing to Taker. Hope he gets some payback soon. Martin/RVD feud could be okay. Perhaps RVD loses the strap to Martin and gets a big push in 1999. Dudleys/LOD is something I could get into. No surprise that the main event was a DQ. I can see a tag match next week with Austin/Ken vs. Vader/Taker or something. Pretty solid RAW I though.

WWF @ East Lansing, MI - Breslin Arena – October 11, 1998 After the HeAT opening we see Jim Ross and Shane McMahon. They hype up tonight’s card of Dustin Runnels versus Bradshaw, D-Lo Brown versus Al Snow, a Wrestlemania rematch pitting TAKA Michinoku against Agulia, and our main event of Jeff Jarrett taking on Steve Blackman. Jim Ross notes we are expected to hear from Triple H tonight. Bradshaw then made his way out to the ring for our first bout.
Dustin Runnels def. Bradshaw These two had a brief feud in the summer, and tonight Dustin put Bradshaw away following a Curtain Call.
After the match Dustin Runnels takes a microphone as Bradshaw is frustrated on the outside. He claims Val Venis is an evil man and he should be punished. Dustin says if there is a woman in the back, Val Venis makes a move on them! He says he can’t even bring his wife with him to shows without being worried about Val Venis bothering her! Dustin claims ever since Val Venis entered the World Wrestling Federation he has been a menace and it is time for him to be dealt with!
Break
An ad for Judgment Day: In Your House is played. It focuses on the main event with Stone Cold Steve Austin defending his WWF Champion against The Undertaker and Kane in a triple threat match. It is live on pay per view one week from tonight!
D-Lo Brown(w/Mark Henry and The Godfather) def. Al Snow(w/Head) D-Lo Brown was cocky as ever and he even wore a shirt to the ring that said “The Rock’s Role is……” on the front and “Getting His Mouth Shut by the Nation!” on the back. In the end D-Lo finished Snow off with the Lo-Down.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with Jeff Jarrett, who is wearing a T-Shirt that says “Don’t P*** Me Off!” Kevin asks Jeff about his recent attitude change and hitting his former manager Tennessee Lee with a guitar. Jarrett tells him Tennessee Lee “pissed him off” and you don’t want to piss off Jeff Jarrett! Kelly asks Jeff about his main event against Steve Blackman tonight, and does he think he can beat him after he lost to him at Over the Edge back in May. Jeff told him that stupid question pisses him off, because he’s beaten Steve Blackman before and he’ll be damn sure to do it again tonight!

Break
Triple H and Chyna make their way to the ring after a break. The Intercontinental Champion reminds us how D-Generation X took out Mankind on Raw is War. Triple H boasts about how they have kicked everyone from Mick Foley to Terry Funk to the curb. Suddenly, Mankind appears from the crowd and slides into the ring! He hits Triple H in the back, but it doesn’t affect him. Hunter turns around, with a frown and his face and shoves Mankind to the mat with ease. The crowd seems suspicious as Chyna holds Mankind up as Triple H yells at Mankind to say he is sorry for trying to attack him. Mankind says he is sorry and he regrets he even thought he could mess with D-Generation X in the first place. The crowd realizes what is going on and they begin to boo. Triple asks “Mankind” what kind of a finisher has him stick his fingers in someone’s mouth. Triple H says it is pretty damn wrong because he KNOWS he doesn’t wash his hands! Triple H smirks, but suddenly the real Mankind comes out and slides into the ring. “Mankind” charges, but Foley knocks him down with a huge right hand before throwing him out of the ring. Triple H began to beat down on Mankind, but he fought back and knocked Triple H out of the ring. Chyna then distracted Foley by hitting him in the back. He turns around, but then The New Age Outlaws run out and attack him from behind! Gunn holds Mankind up as Road Dogg smashes him with his cast! The crowd boos as The Outlaws proceed to hit him with a Spike Piledriver before leaving the ring, leaving Mankind out. DX regroups on the entrance way, smirking as Sunday Night HeAT goes off the air for tonight.Sunday Night HeAT; 10/11/98 |

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 5th October 1998...Good promo to kick off the show, tyical Vince McMahon in the ring. Liked D-Generation X coming out and interrupting him, them taking out Mankind could be interesting. But with under two weeks to build this feud, you'll need all the luck in the world to try and make Triple H look credible against Mankind in a profitable match at Judgment Day. Interesting to have this match open the show, but it made sense. D-Generation X beating Mankind is a fine handicap match. Owen Hart beating Edge was a fine match, should have opened with DX/Mankind going on later in my mind. Gangrel's interference made sense. Wonder where you're taking their feud. Brian Christopher beating Rey Mysterio Jr is odd. Hats off to you if you build Too Much up enough to face Mysterio for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship, especially after Mysterio feuded with uppercarder, Sean Waltman. The Rock beating Mark Henry was pretty nice, especially with the Nation beating Rock down. I hope Mark Henry, D-Lo Brown and The Godfather split up as well though. The Undertker beating Ken Shamrock was a fine way to kick off the second hour, would probably be as awkward as their Backlash 1999 match though. Vader associating with the Brothers of Destruction and beating down Shamrock was nice. Val Venis beating Rob Van Dam was a strange call, but Val needs all the momentum he can get after debuting not long ago. The Dudley Boyz beating Southern Supremacy is fine, Bart Gunn and Bob Holly will never get too far really. Stone Cold Steve Austin overcoming the odds and almost winning against Kane just to get attacked by Vince McMahon's goons is vintage Attitude Era. Overall, not a bad show.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 11th October 1998...Dustin Runnels beating Bradshaw...you need to start building Bradshaw up and fast. D-Lo Brown beating Al Snow sounded like a good match, not bad at all. TAKA Michinoku needs to break out of the routine of this defeating Aguila though. Let Michinoku get back into the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship picture. He needs to be built up more, but give TAKA some more character. Jeff Jarrett beating Steve Blackman was very predictable, did like Jarrett smashing Blackman's head in with the guitar as well. And lastly, great main event with D-Generation X mocking Mankind. Very reminiscent of their rivalry in January 2000. Overall, average episode, nothing much going on, didn't do a good job of promoting too much, with Judgment Day in seven days as well.

-I'll reply to RAW, because a Heat reply wouldn't be fair for your hard work... -What was that a 3-on-1? It seemed like a pretty good match, and hopefully we see HHH/Mankind at JD. -Edge done as Adam Copeland is nice. Owen Hart going over him was the best. -I have no clue who Brian Christopher is, so I don't know what to think it. -Undertaker over Shamrock is a great call. Like this match. -Don't know if this was when Venis was really good, so I guess I agree with the result. -Dudleys vs. LOD should be great. Can't wait to see what happens there. -Great main event and it fit the post-match stuff. Great stuff here and hopes Vader enters the WWF Title Match. -Good show.

Austin tells Vader he has tried that about a million times this year, and it always ended up with him getting his ass kicked! The crowd cheers for Austin, but suddenly The Undertaker and Kane make their way out, much to McMahon’s approval. Taker tells Austin nothing is going to stop Kane and him from destroying him this Sunday. He assures Austin it will either be him or Kane walking out with the WWF Championship, and they will prove that tonight. Austin tells Undertaker everyone has tried to take this title off of him, and everyone has failed, just like he will! Austin says he won’t wait for later, he’ll prove right now he’ll still be champion after Sunday! Austin drops the microphone and this Taker, but the number get to Austin. The champion fights back and he is able to take down both of the goons, but Taker, Kane, and Vader gang up on Austin. Soon, Ken Shamrock runs out with a chair and he takes out Vader with two shots to the head! Kane hits Shamrock from behind, but then Austin gets up and hits Taker with a Stunner! Shamrock hits a belly to belly on Kane, sending him out of the ring. Shamrock helps Austin up, but Austin pushes him off. Shamrock looks surprised, and it is questioned if they can still work together tonight.

Following the match Edge celebrated his victory as Owen Hart came into the ring. Hart raised Edge’s hand before Edge left the ring. As Edge was walking back in the crowd, Gangrel hit Hart in the back of the head with his goblet! Gangrel continued the beat down on Hart until Edge came back from the crowd and slid into the ring. Following the match, as soon as Mysterio was handed his title, he turned his attention to Christopher, avoiding a sneak attack. Christopher just smirked at him before taking his hand and shaking it. Mysterio pulled himself out as Too Much left the ring. Mysterio raised his title up as the crowd cheered.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam and Andrew Martin. Kelly asks the two about their recent problems as of late. Before Martin can say anything, Van Dam snatches the microphone and says Martin his forgotten his place. He tells Kelly he [Van Dam] is the star, and Martin is the back up. Martin doesn’t look pleased with him and Van Dam looks at Martin saying tonight he is facing TAKA Michinoku. Van Dam goes on to say he doesn’t want him to screw up like last week, and he expects him to raise his hand after his victory. Van Dam walks off the set as Martin tells Kevin Rob is in for a huge surprise up next!

TAKA Michinoku def. Rob Van Dam(w/Andrew Martin) TAKA and Van Dam renewed their feud from the spring, and this time Martin helped Michinoku pick up the win after hitting the ropes when Van Dam went atop, allowing TAKA to roll Van Dam up for the three!
The crowd popped for Michinoku’s victory as Van Dam was in shock in the middle of the ring. Martin came into the ring and shrugged at Van Dam. Van Dam then got up and called Martin a “worthless piece of crap!” before slapping him! Martin did not take this kindly, and he took Van Dam down with a big boot! The crowd cheered for Martin as he hit multiple shots on The Hardcore Champion! Van Dam tried to escape, but Martin grabbed him and hit the Pump Handle Slam! Martin left Van Dam out in the ring before heading backstage, shedding a little smile on his face.

Road Dogg fled from the ring as Triple H picked up Hart and drilled him with the Pedigree to get the win.
The crowd booed as Road Dogg came back into the ring and raised Hunter’s hand. Suddenly, the theme of Mankind hit to a pop from the crowd as he came out with a sock, with a face drawn on it, in his hand. He had a microphone and he said in order to help fight off the numbers game; he has enlisted Mr. Socko to help in battle! Triple H had a look on confusion on his face as Mankind came down to the ring and threw Road Dogg right over the top rope! Mankind then hammered shot after shot into Triple H’s skull before Chyna hit him with a low blow! The crowd booed as Sean Waltman rushed out and started to beat down on Mankind as Triple H recuperated in the corner. Waltman picked up Mankind and he was going to hit the X-Factor, but Mankind pushed him off and hit the Double-Arm DDT! Chyna then went over to Mick, but when he turned around he hit her in the face! He didn’t even realize it as he then locked in the Mandible Claw on Triple H with the sock! Triple H was fading until The Outlaws came in the ring and James hit Mankind with his cast again! The rest of DX left and regrouped as Mankind used the ropes to get up.
Break
We see a replay of Mankind brawling with D-Generation X before the break. Then, we head backstage to see Michael Cole has caught up with D-Generation X. Cole asks Triple H about what just transpired moments ago. Triple H says right there they just proved why you do not mess with D-Generation X. Hunter brings up how Mankind picked a fight with them, and he has been suffering the past two weeks because of it. He goes on to say it is going to take a lot more than a stupid sock to take them down, and it doesn’t matter if he really does have a job or not, he is throwing out the challenge for this Sunday at Judgment Day: In Your House! Triple H says he plans on removing Mick from the WWF by force and if you’re not down with that, they got two words for you; and Waltman ends the promo by saying “Suck it!”
Val Venis makes his way out to the ring to a nice ovation, mainly from females, from the New York crowd. Venis has a microphone and says tonight his opponent warns people to no piss him off, but he says “The Big Valbowski” is always on top, so he won’t have to worry about a thing! Venis takes off his towel and throws it into the crowd as Jeff Jarrett makes his way out to the ring.
Val Venis def. Jeff Jarrett VIA DQ This was a pretty good bout, and Jeff threatened to use his guitar, but the ref took it out of his hands. In the end, Venis was going for the Money Shot, but Dustin Runnels ran out and pushed him off the top rope right in front of the ref!
After the match, Dustin entered the ring and Jarrett helped him beat down on Val Venis. Jarrett hit the stroke on Venis as Dustin grabbed Jarrett’s guitar. As Val Venis got up, Dustin hit Venis with the guitar! Dustin leaned over Val Venis and began to yell at him as the screen faded to black.
Still to come later tonight, we will see Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock team up to face the three man team of The Undertaker, Kane, and Vader in a three on two handicap match!
Break
The Dudley Boys make their way out to the ring and take some ringside seats to watch The Legion of Doom in action up next!
The Legion of Doom def. Southern Supremacy(w/Jim Cornette) This was a decent match where Southern Supremacy came out fighting, but they fell to the Doomsday Device one more time.
Following the match, The Dudley Boyz entered the ring with their titles and Bubba had a microphone. He stuttered, but D-Von would slap him in the back of the head to help him speak. Bubba said The Legion of Doom might plan on winning the tag team titles this Sunday, but they, The Dudley Boyz, know they will retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. They say they know it will take everything to beat them, but in the end, they will succeed. The L.O.D. fire back by saying they know it is going to be a fight, but they can guarantee they will be walking out of Judgment Day with the WWF Tag Team Championships once again! What a rush! The segment closes as The Dudley Boyz hold the titles high in the air.
Up next is our main event, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock battle The Undertaker, Kane, and Vader with Mr. McMahon himself at ringside!
Break
Before our main event begins, Vince McMahon makes his entrance with Vader and he says only the team of Undertaker, Kane, and Vader can use weapons in our main event!
Stone Cold Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock def. The Undertaker, Kane, and Vader(w/Vince McMahon) This was a solid main event and Austin and Shamrock worked surprisingly well. In the end, The Undertaker had a chair, and was measuring Austin, but the champion ducked and The Undertaker hit his own brother! As Undertaker was distracted, Ken Shamrock came from behind and dropkicked Taker out of the ring! Shamrock began to brawl with Vader as Austin hit the Stunner on a Staggering Kane, gaining the three!
The crowd popped as Austin celebrated his victory, Shamrock and Vader still throwing punches on the ramp! Austin left the ring and grabbed his title before flipping McMahon off! Meanwhile, staff once again had to separate Vader and Shamrock as Taker went into the ring. Kane confronted his brother and the two had a stare down as Vince walked in and tried to ease the tension. Taker then bumped into Kane, on purpose, as he left the ring. Taker and Kane continued the stare down as Taker back up the ramp, Vince trying to calm Kane down as Austin was seen smiling on the outside! Raw is War going off the air!

Edge def. Gangrel; European Title Number One Contenders Match

Rey Mysterio def. RAW is WAR; classic chaotic opening segment. I see Shamrock and Austin putting their differences aside tonight and coming out on top. Good victory for Edge and it was definitely the right choice, but I'm glad you still had Gangrel fighting afterwards. Rey Mysterio over Scott Taylor makes sense. I can't wait for this duo to explode! Hopefully Andrew Martin drops RVD soon and feuds with him over the Hardcore Championship. Pleased to see TAKA Michinoku over Rob Van Dam, especially due to Martin finally having enough of RVD. Can't wait to see this feud. I'm happy to see The Rock and The Dudley Boyz taking the win here, and I definitely hope The Rock defeats D-Lo Brown at Judgment Day. Triple H over Owen Hart makes sense with the attack earlier, and I loved the aftermath with Mankind and Mr. Socko, only to be beaten down. I see Mankind defeating Triple H at Judgment Day. A DQ finish to Val Venis versus Jeff Jarrett is interesting, and I am liking what you're doing with Dustin Runnels in this feud. Pleased to see the Legion of Doom win here, and I would like to see them win at Judgment Day, but I have a feeling he Dudley Boyz will walk out on top. As I predicted, Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock pick up the victory. Loving the tension between The Undertaker and Kane and Vince trying to maintain order in his group. Overal, an intriguing show.

Been forgetting to check this out. Will try to reply to this more consistently. Now let's move on to the latest RAW! Good way to open the show with Vince and company. Loving this storyline between Austin and Kane/Taker, I see Austin retaining at JD though. Great ending to the opening segment. Glad Edge picked up the title shot, looks like there is still some bad blood between him and Gangrel though. Hopefully Owen retains, too early for Edge IMO. Not much to say about Mysterio/Taylor, except the match at JD with Christopher should be decent. Loving the tension between RVD and Andrew Martin, good stuff. Martin finally snaps and turns on RVD, can't wait to see where that's headed. Decent six-man tag, still happy you separated the Rock from the NOD. HHH/Owen was good stuff, the post match brawl was good and great build up to JD. More build up for the Venis/Runnels feud, no surprise he would interfere in Venis' match. The main event definitely delivered. Great ending to RAW and smart move to have the champion come out on top before the PPV. Judgment Day's card is looking great and I'll be sure to reply to that as soon as it's up. Good stuff, Penguin, keep it up.

Dustin over Bradshaw is alright, though I hope that Bradshaw is pushed soon. Brown winning is the right call over Snow. I hope Brown emerges as the new leader of the Nation, which I think is the idea going here anyway. Glad to see the new attitude in Jarrett, the best version of Jarrett I thought. Taka and Jarrett winning seemed to be obvious outcomes but the right ones anyway. The Mankind/HHH segment was very similar to the early 2000 HHH/Mankind stuff as previously mentioned. I hope something different occurs for that feud. Looking forward to RAW.
The opening segment was a good way to kick off the show, I thought. I’m liking Vader’s role more and more. I hope he goes over Shamrock at the PPV. Glad that Edge got the win over Gangrel as I’ve never been a huge fan of Gangrel. Rey beating Taylor makes a lot of sense. I’m hoping Brian wins the title, for some reason it just seems like a good idea. Well, the promo by RVD was done nicely and I’m interested in the feud he will have with Martin now. I actually would’ve liked to see the Nation get the win as I hope they don’t lose steam moving forward without the Rock. I enjoyed the aftermath of Owen/HHH. I’m really curious to see LOD/Dudley Boys match. Good main event as I was surprised to see Austin get a pin fall on Kane but an actual finish in the main events is a refreshing change. It seemed like a decent go home RAW before the PPV, which I’m interested in reading.

Chicago, IL - Rosemont Horizon - October 18, 1998 We are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler who hype the fact that we are only one short hour away from Judgment Day: In Your House! They are interrupted by D-Generation X, who appears on the Titantron. They appear to be standing in front of the boiler room. Hunter says before his match against Mankind tonight, they are going to “wish him luck.” D-Generation X enter the boiler room as we go back live where the returning Jackyl is making his way out to the ring!
Jackyl talks about how he has watched the World Wrestling Federation recently and he has seen multiple struggling superstars in this company. Jackyl says he has reached out to those superstars and he is willing to help them! He promises that along with his brain, and their power, he will take control of the World Wrestling Federation sooner than later! He announces his first recruit being Bradshaw! A much darker version of Bradshaw comes out as the Jackyl smirks in the ring.
Bradshaw(w/The Jackyl) def. Agulia The new Bradshaw finished off Agulia rather quickly with The Clothesline from Hell.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with Ken Shamrock, who seems to be preparing for his match against Vader tonight. Kevin asks him what his strategy is going in to tonight against Vader, the man who has attacked him multiple times in the past couple of weeks. Shamrock says tonight he has only one thing on his mind, and that is destroying Vader! He says Vader picked a fight with “The World’s Strongest Man” and he is going to snap his ankle in half for it! Shamrock says some people think his anger might cost him the match tonight, but in his mind, it will only help him win! Shamrock goes back to hitting a punching bag after the interview.
Break
A video package hypes up Ken Shamrock versus Vader tonight.
Glass shatters across the arena and the crowd goes crazy. The WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way out to the ring with a determined look on his face. Austin says tonight he might be the luckiest man on the planet, because he gets to whoop twice the amount of ass than normally! The crowd cheers as Austin says Vince McMahon thinks because this is a triple threat match, he will be losing the title! Austin says Vince is out of his damn mind, because for the past seven months he has beaten every poor son of a bitch that grew a set and tried to beat Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin talks about how on Raw is War it was proven that both The Undertaker and Kane are out for themselves in tonight’s main event, so Vince is only fooling himself if he thinks that those two son of a bitches are going to be working together to take the title off of Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin finishes off the promo by saying he has proven more than once that it doesn’t matter if you put one, two, three, four, five, six, or any damn number of people in front of him, he walks out with the World Wrestling Federation Championship! And that’s the bottom line, cuz Stone Cold said so!
We once again see D-Generation X navigating their way through the boiler room. They keep calling out Mick’s name as they walk through. Hunter makes the remark that he doesn’t see any sinks in here, so it is true he doesn’t wash his hands! Waltman tells Triple H he should wear a gas mask to keep Mick’s fingers out of his mouth, but Triple H assures him he’s going to kick his ass so much he won’t have to worry about it. We go to a break as DX continues to walk through the boiler room, searching for Mankind.
Break
A video is aired, hyping the main event with Stone Cold Steve Austin defending his WWF Championship against both The Undertaker and Kane in a triple threat match, tonight!
Southern Supremacy(w/Jim Cornette) def. The Headbangers This was a decent match, but Bob Holly put Headbanger Mosh away in the end with the Alabama Slam.
Following the match, Southern Supremacy celebrates their victory as we head backstage, where Kevin Kelly is standing by with The Nation of Domination. Kelly asks D-Lo about his match against The Rock tonight. D-Lo tells Kelly for the past three weeks, The Nation have been laying the Smackdown on Rock’s candy ass! D-Lo says the only reason The Nation lost on Raw is War is because of the Dudley Boyz! D-Lo assures Kevin The Rock made the biggest mistake of his life three weeks ago when he decided to turn his back on The Nation, the group that is responsible for all of his success! D-Lo caps off the interview by saying tonight, he will beat The Rock, and he better recognize that D-Lo Brown and The Nation of Domination are the real deal!
Up next, our Sunday Night HeAT main event, Jeff Jarrett takes on Steve Blackman!
Break
Jeff Jarrett def. Steve Blackman A fine rematch from last week and Jeff was victorious after dodging a Lethal Kick and hitting the Stroke.
Jeff celebrated his victory and grabbed his guitar, aiming to hitting Blackman with it again. Suddenly, Al Snow ran out with Head and swung at Jeff’s head! Jeff was able to duck and he creamed Al Snow with the guitar! Jeff walked out of the ring, telling Snow he pissed him off by coming out here! Jeff walked to the back as we go backstage.
Backstage D-Generation X, still in the boiler room, is searching for Mankind. Soon, Billy Gunn spots a white figure in the corner, who appears to be Mankind, and they approach it. Triple H kicks it, but it falls over and turns out to be a white box with a wig on it. Road Dogg said Mick was fat enough to look like a large box, but suddenly Mankind hits both Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in the back of the head with a pipe! He throws Waltman to the floor as Triple H turns around and the exchange shots in the boiler room! They fight all across the room, much like Summerslam 1996, and eventually the fight out of the room! They spill out into the hallway as various superstars look on. Soon, security is able to pull both men apart as others go into the boiler room to check on D-Generation X. Sunday Night HeAT going off the air!
Judgment Day 98 - Chicago, IL - Rosemont Horizon - October 18, 1998 Before we go live we see a video hyping up the main event tonight. It shows Vince McMahon discussing his master plan to take the title off of Stone Cold Steve Austin. It shows clips of the past few weeks with Austin fighting both The Undertaker and Kane, and then The Undertaker “accidentally” hitting Kane with a steel chair on Raw is War. The video ends with Austin holding his title up high.
The pyro kicks off as we are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They hype up a huge event and Jerry Lawler welcomes everyone to the final night of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s title reign! They are interrupted by the theme song of Edge who comes out for our opening contest!
WWF European Championship: Owen Hart© vs. Edge This was a hot start to the show and the two put on a very enjoyable match. It started off with the two locking up in the center of the ring until Owen Hart got the advantage. Edge was able to throw him over, but Hart fired back with a shoulder barge. Hart bounces off the ropes and jumps over Edge, but the mysterious superstar gets up and nails the European Champion with a dropkick. Edge puts him in a headlock, but Owen Hart quickly fights out of it. No one gets the clear advantage in the opening moments, but soon Edge is able to duck and clothesline and whip Owen Hart into the corner. Edge charges and connects with a big splash, keeping Hart in the corner. Edge drills multiple punches into the head of Owen Hart, but the European Champion hooks him by the legs and hit him with a huge powerbomb! He covers, but only gets a two count. While Edge gets back up, Owen Hart goes up high, and he connects with a missile dropkick! The challenger rolls out of the ring as Hart plans out his next move. He attempts a baseball slide, but Edge grabs him by the legs and throws him out of the ring! Edge then climbs on to the apron and jumps onto Hart as soon as he gets up! As both men were down on the outside, Gangrel made his way out and stood on the entrance way, watching. Edge pointed to Gangrel, warning him, before tossing Owen back into the ring. As Edge was distracted by Gangrel, Owen Hart took the opportunity to hit a swinging Neckbreaker on Edge! Owen Hart remained in control for a few moments until he kicked Edge in the gut. Hart then bounced off the ropes, but Edge leveled him with a spear! Edge covered, but Owen Hart grabs the rope. Edge was disappointed, but he kept on the assault, hoping to capture the European Championship. Finally, the end was here both men were going back and forth, but Edge hit Owen Hart with another spear! This caused Gangrel to walk down the aisle, hopping on the apron. Edge then rammed into him, causing him to fall off. As Edge turned around, Owen Hart was up and he got the inside cradle for the three! Winner and STILL European Champion: Owen Hart
Following the match, Gangrel backs up the ramp smiling. Edge looks disappointed and frustrated on his knees in the ring. Owen Hart helps him to his feet and shakes his hand in a sign of a respect. The crowd cheered as Edge left the ring, chasing after Gangrel! Gangrel quickly fled to the crowd as Edge followed him! The two were lost in the crowd as the screen fades out.
An advertisement plays, showing you that you can get all the WWF merchandise you want at WWF.SHOPZONE.COM!
We go back live to Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They hype up that are next match will see Rey Mysterio defend the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship against Brian Christopher! A replay two weeks ago from Raw is War is played, showing how Brian Christopher defeated Rey Mysterio in one on one action with the help of his tag team partner Scott Taylor. That victory earned him the title match here tonight.
WWF Light Heavyweight Championship: Rey Mysterio© vs. Brian Christopher(w/Scott Taylor) The bell rings and Brian Christopher begins to taunt the champion. He even goes as far to slapping him in the face, but Mysterio doesn’t take that too kindly as he takes Christopher down! Brian escapes Mysterio, but Rey just ends up kicking him out of the ring. On the outside Taylor tries to help Christopher rebound, but then Rey Mysterio leaps over the top rope and crashes onto both men! Mysterio picks up the challenger and tosses him back into the ring. Mysterio goes on to the apron, and he goes for a springboard cross body, but Christopher ducks out of the way, and when he lands, Brian hits him in the back of the head with a huge clothesline! He quickly covers, but the champion kicks out. Brian quickly takes control of the match here, but Mysterio still has plenty of fight left in him. He uses his speed to get out of an armbar, and it allows him to grab a hold of Christopher’s arm, walk the top rope and hit a springboard tornado DDT! Mysterio goes in for the three count, but the challenger kicks out. The match would go on with Christopher trying to ground the high flying champion at each point, but it would be almost of no use as Mysterio would always find a way to go up high. Eventually, Christopher distracted the ref while Rey went to the top rope, allowing Taylor to jump up and grab Mysterio’s leg, causing him to fall into the turnbuckle! Christopher then took the chance and nailed Rey with a huge superkick, causing him to fall off the top rope! The crowd made Too Much hear their disapproval as Christopher quickly put the boots into the spine of the champion. Christopher remained in control for a few moments until he decided to go for the Tennessee Jam! Mysterio moved out of the way, sending Brian crashing to the mat! Mysterio then went to the apron, kicking off Taylor, and then hitting the Springboard Hurricanrana! Mysterio ended up getting the three and keeping the title! Winner and STILL WWF Light Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio
Following the match, Rey rolled out of the ring as he was handed his title. Mysterio leaned against the apron, holding up his title. Suddenly, Christopher hit Mysterio with a baseball slide, causing him to fall to the mat! Jim Ross called him a sore loser as Scott Taylor rolled him back into the ring. Too Much continued to beat down on Mysterio, allowing Christopher to go up and hit the Tennessee Jam! Suddenly, TAKA Michinoku and the Hardy Brothers ran out to the ring, chasing Too Much off! They helped Rey up to his feet as Too Much taunted them from the aisle, even without the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with Dustin Runnels. Kevin asks Dustin about his match against Val Venis up next here at Judgment Day: In Your House. Dustin tells Kevin Val is a horrible man and tonight he will finally make him pay! Dustin says every woman can finally go back to their duties here without Val running around annoying them! Kevin tells Dustin that it seems like the women actually like Val, and he questions him about if he is telling the truth or not. Dustin stares at Kelly before walking off the set, getting ready for his match.
We go live as we see Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler again. They talk about how up next we will see Val Venis take on Dustin Runnels before we see a replay of Raw is War this past week with Dustin Runnels attacking Val Venis in the middle of his match with Jeff Jarrett. Val Venis then made his way out to the ring as usual for our third bout here at Judgment Day: In Your House!
Grudge Match: Val Venis vs. Dustin Runnels The match starts off with Val taunting Dustin by spinning his body around in a circle while holding his arms behind his head. Dustin charges at Val, but he sidesteps him, causing Dustin to ram into the corner. Val Venis has gotten into the head of Dustin Runnels here tonight. Venis fired the shots in Dustin, stomping him onto his rear end. Val pressed his boot into Dustin’s head until he had to break it up in risk of a disqualification. Val approached Dustin, but he raked him in the eyes, and the hit a chop block on the newest superstar here in the World Wrestling Federation. Dustin took the control earlier on, but “The Big Valbowski” was not out yet. He came firing back and he went for a cover with a backslide pin, but Dustin managed to get out and he drilled him with a hard DDT. He went for the three, but Venis kicked out shortly. Dustin wasn’t able to get as much control as earlier, and he found himself being tossed out of the ring by Venis. When Runnels came back in, Venis took him out with a huge clothesline and followed it up with an elbow and leg drop combination. These two rivals traded blows until the veteran was able to outsmart Venis and he was able to send Venis flying into the ring post shoulder first. Runnels rolled him up and put his feet on the ropes for leverage, but the ref caught him. Dustin augured with the ref, but that was when Venis took the chance to hit him with a Russian Leg Sweep! Venis showed off such moves like a Half-Nelson slam on Runnels, but Dustin was soon fighting back on Venis, even almost hitting the Curtain Call. Venis was able to fight out, though, and he nailed Dustin in the head with a high knee. In the end, the two were fighting on the top rope, exchanging blows, but Venis got the upper hand and he kicked Runnels off the top rope. Venis then connected with the Money Shot and got the three count! Winner: Val Venis
Venis has his hand raised after the match with a big smirk on his face. Dustin gets up in the corner, irate. Venis smirks at him and taunts before leaving the ring as the crowd cheers for “The Big Valbowski.”
Catch the encore presentation of tonight’s pay per-view event Tuesday Night at 8 P.M. eastern time.
Backstage Michael Cole is with “The People’s Champion” The Rock. Rock gets a loud ovation from the crowd as soon as he appears on the screen. Cole asks Rock about his match against D-Lo Brown coming up next here at Judgment Day: In Your House. The Rock says tonight is THE night where he can finally prove to the millions and millions of people watching around the world that he is “The Great One”, that’s right, just one! Tonight he proves he does not need The Nation of Domination, hell no, the only people he need is himself and the millions and millions of The Rock’s fan! He says tonight he will walk down the people’s aisle, walk into the people’s ring, and proceed to lay the Smackdown on D-Lo Brown’s, Mark Henry’s, and The Godfather’s roody poo candy asses! Then, he will take off his elbow pad, hit the people’s elbow and send them all down to Rock Bottom! If you smell, what The Rock is cooking!
Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler talk about our next match; The Rock versus D-Lo Brown. We see a quick video highlighting the history between The Rock and The Nation of Domination before we go live for the match.
Former Allies Collide: The Rock vs. D-Lo Brown(w/Mark Henry, The Godfather and Three Women) The match kicks off with D-Lo Brown getting in The Rock’s face. The Rock responds by socking D-Lo with a punch in the cheek as the ref rings the bell. Rock continues the beating until D-Lo grabs the ropes and slides out of the ring. Rock chases after him, but D-Lo quickly slides into the ring. Rock goes in as well, but D-Lo hits him with a dropkick upon entry. D-Lo quickly covers, but “The Great One” has no problem kicking out at the count of one. D-Lo then tries to keep Rock on his feet, using such tactics as kneeing him in the back, but he is not able to keep him down and The Rock takes him down with a clothesline. D-Lo gets up and Rock nails him with a DDT, he covers but Brown kicks out as well. The two exchange maneuvers in the opening moments of the bout, but quickly Brown turns to cheap moves as he rakes Rock in the eye and goes for an inside cradle. Rock counters it into his own inside cradle, but D-Lo gets out hits him with a huge leg drop into the chest! D-Lo then goes up to top rope, but Rock meets him there with a huge blow! Rock then climbs up the second rope and hits a huge superplex on D-Lo Brown! He covers, but Brown is able to kick out at a count of two. D-Lo is in the center of the ring, and Rock notices this, and he takes off his elbow pad as he raises his eyebrow as the crowd pops. He then bounces off the ropes, but Mark Henry grabs his foot! The ref sees this, and he ejects The Nation from the ringside area! As the ref deals with them, this allows D-Lo to get up and snatch a chair! He measures “The People’s Champion” and when he finally turns around he gets nailed in the head with the chair! D-Lo throws it out of the ring and covers, but the ref is still dealing with The Nation. The ref finally gets back in the ring, but it is too late. D-Lo stomps on Rock and goes to the top, looking to hit the Lo-Down, but Rock gets his leg up! Brown looks dazed and confused in the center of the ring, as The Rock turns him around hits the Rock Bottom! He covers for the three count! Winner: The Rock
The Rock celebrates his win with loud approval from the Chicago crowd. Rock raises his fist, and eyebrow, on the top rope and holds his head up high in the air as the screen fades to black.
We cut to a video from earlier with Vince McMahon arriving to the Rosemont Horizon. He steps out of his limo and takes a big whiff of air, stopping Patterson and Briscoe. Vince says he can already feel the breath of fresh air in here. Vince smirks as he continues to walk to the building, completing ignoring what happened between Kane and The Undertaker on Raw is War.
We go back live to Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler, who state that up next is our WWF Tag Team Championship match; The Dudley Boyz take on the Legion of Doom!
WWF Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz© vs. The Legion of Doom This match was nothing but hard hitting. The Legion of Doom lost the tag titles about one year ago, and they haven’t been able to regain the titles since. The Dudley Boyz weren’t going down without a fight, though, as they pulled out all the stops to remain the World Wrestling Federation tag team champions. The match begins with Animal and Bubba Ray trading shots, Animal getting the upper hand. Animal whips Bubba into the ropes and leans down, but Bubba comes firing back with a kick to the head. Bubba hits a scoop slam and drops an elbow before coving for a cover. Animal kicks out, and the match goes on. No team gets the clear advantage at first, but it seems like a lot of the time The Legion of Doom seem to outsmart the World Wrestling Federation tag team champions. The match soon spilled to the outside where The Dudley boys threw Hawk into the barricade and hit the flapjack on Animal, right onto the announcers table! They threw him back into the ring as D-Von covered, but Animal kicked out once more. D-Von went up to the top rope, but Animal met him there, on the second rope, and hit a huge belly to belly suplex! He covered, but Bubba Ray broke up the count, saving the match. Hawk was soon able to get back up, but it was too late as The Dudley Boyz had complete control over the match. They whipped Animal into the ropes and hit a huge double back body drop! As Animal got back up, Bubba hit a powerbomb before covering, but Animal was able to kick out again. Bubba dragged Animal over to tag to D-Von, but Animal rolled him up, nearly getting the three. Animal hit him with a series of hard clothesline before dropping him with a huge slam. He tagged in Hawk who also unloaded on The Dudley Boyz as the crowd cheered on The Legion of Doom. The Legion of Doom soon went for the Doomsday Deceive on D-Von, but he slipped out, causing Hawk to go crashing into the mat, allowing Bubba to come in so the Dudley Boyz could hit the Dudley Death Drop! D-Von covered and got the three! Winners and STILL WWF Tag Team Champions: The Dudley Boyz
The Dudley Boyz celebrates their victory to a mixed reaction. The Legion of Doom struggle to get onto their feet as The Dudley Boyz turn around to see them get up. The Legion offer their hands, and The Dudleyz except! The crowd cheers as The Legion of Doom leaves disappointed.
Catch Survivor Series live next month on Pay Per View, November 15th!
Backstage we see a split screen of Ken Shamrock and Vader backstage, getting ready for their match up next. A quick video plays, highlighting their feud. It shows Vader returning last month and costing Ken Shamrock the Intercontinental Championship, the past few weeks of Vader’s assaults on Shamrock, and their brawl from this past Monday on Raw is War.
Grudge Match: Ken Shamrock vs. Vader The bell rings and Shamrock goes right after “The Mastodon” Vader. He takes him by surprise, but Vader shoves him off and drill him with a big boot. Vader picks up, grabbing his arm, and he hit him with a clothesline. Vader then picked him up and threw him into the corner before crushing him with a huge splash! Shamrock sunk down, but Vader pulled him back up and started to deliver devastating blows. Soon, Shamrock was able to duck one and then he threw Vader into the corner. Shamrock then unloaded a fury onto Vader, causing him to go down. Shamrock started to stomp onto Vader until the ref had to pry him off. Shamrock approached Vader again, but Vader kicked him in the knee. Vader tripped Shamrock and threw his leg right into the mat. Vader started to work on Shamrock’s leg before hitting a huge leg drop on it! Shamrock rolled to the outside and held his leg in pain. Soon, Shamrock was back in it and he came back firing with a dropkick. This took Vader off his feet, and when he came back up, Shamrock leveled him with a spear! Shamrock hit him with shot after shot until he grabbed his legs and dragged him to the corner. Ken went to the outside and pulled Vader right into ring post! He slammed Vader’s leg right into the ring post multiple times before getting back in the ring. Later in the match, Vader got in control of catching him in a dropkick and connecting with a huge powerbomb. Vader soon went for the Vader Bomb, but Shamrock got up and grabbed Vader’s ankle in mid-air! He dragged him to the center of the ring, putting pressure on the leg he was working on just moments ago! Vader seemed just so close to tapping, but he started to crawl towards the rope. Vader almost reached it, but then Shamrock grapevine the hold! Vader still was able to pull through and get to the ropes. Shamrock then picked up Vader, but Vader nailed him with an elbow and a spinebuster! Vader then went to the top and hit the Vadersault! He covered, but Shamrock kicked out! “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” soon fought back and he knocked the big man off his feet again. As Vader was staggering, Shamrock charged, but Vader caught him with a belly to belly! Shamrock was in the corner, and Vader went to the top! He ended up connecting with not one, not two, but three Vader Bombs! He covered, and this time Shamrock couldn’t kick out. Winner: Vader
After the match, Shamrock is out as Vader stands over him, proud. Vader leaves the ring, smirking, as Shamrock just starts to get up.
Backstage we see Triple H and Chyna standing next to Michael Cole. Cole asks Triple H about his match against Mankind up next. Triple H says earlier tonight Mankind proved that he the lowest form of life on the planet! D-Generation X went looking for him to “wish him good luck” tonight and he attacked us with a lead pipe! He says up next he is going to do what no one else could do, and that is finally take Mick Foley out of the World Wrestling Federation. Cole questions why Triple H attacked what they thought was Mankind at first. Triple H and Chyna look at Cole as Hunter shakes his head, walking off.
We go live to Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They announce that up next is Triple H versus Mankind before we go to a video package highlighting their feud thus far. After the video they say DX will not be at ringside to due to Mankind’s attack with a lead pipe on Sunday Night HeAT.
Non-Title Grudge Match: Triple H(w/Chyna) vs. Mankind The bell rings and Mankind goes right after Triple H. Hunter uses his speed at first to dodge him, but soon Mankind is able to catch up with him. Triple H gets out again and begins his assault on Mankind. He takes control, but when he bounces off the ropes, Mankind meets him with an elbow to the face. The two exchange shots for the opening minutes of the contest until Mick goes to the top rope. Triple H kicks the rope, causing Mick to fall off the top. He then begins the tactical dissection of Mick, working on his arm, head, and leg. Triple H soon locks in the Sleeper Hold, but when Mankind drops to his first knee he starts to show life. Hunter kicks him in the back of his other leg, causing him to go down on both legs, but Mankind fights out with multiple shots to the head. He hits a running DDT and covers, but Triple H kicks out. Mankind unloads on “The Game”, forcing him to back into a corner. Mankind charges and knees Hunter in the head multiple times. The Intercontinental Champion rolls to the outside, trying to escape, but Mankind goes onto the apron and jumps on to him! He starts pound on Hunter until he picks him up and throws him across the announcers table! Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler move out of the way as Mick follows Triple H and begins to beat down on him! The crowd is completely behind Mick as he picks up the champion again, trying to throw him into the steel steps. Triple H is able to counter, and he sends Mick flying back first into the steel steps! Hunter rolls in and out of the ring to break up the count as Mankind crawls on the floor. He throws Mick into the barricade before tossing him back into the ring and covering. Foley kicks out at two, but Triple H responds with a knee to the face. Later on in the match, Triple H is beating on Mankind in the corner, but when he goes for a big boot, Mankind moves and Triple H gets his foot caught! As Triple H takes his foot out, Mankind puts on Mr. Socko! When the champion turns around, he gets caught in the Mandible Claw! The crowd cheers, but Chyna jumps onto the apron. She tries to enter the ring, and this distracts Mick Foley who lets go of the hold. That is when Sean Waltman runs down and hands a chair to Triple H! He swings, but Mick kicks him and grabs the chair! Mankind then smacks Triple H with the chair as the ref turns around to see it! He rings the bell as Mankind can’t believe what happened. Winner VIA Disqualification: Triple H
The crowd boos as Sean Waltman gets into the ring, but Mankind hits him with the chair! Mankind then unloads onto Triple H with the chair, hitting him in the spine over and over! Staff has to run down and restrain Mick as Chyna and Sean Waltman attend to the battered champion. He may have won the match, but he has not won the war!
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Kelly asks Austin about having to defend his WWF Championship against both The Undertaker and Kane up next. Austin tells him he is going to do what he does each and every night and that is kick some ass! He says Vince McMahon has convinced himself that The Undertaker and Kane are together, but he proved that this past Monday Night on Raw is War, water is thicker than blood! Tonight he will walk out with the WWF Championship in his hands as he always does and that’s the bottom line cuz Stone Cold Said So!
We go live one more time as Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler say it is now time for our main event! Stone Cold defends his WWF Championship against The Undertaker and Kane! Jerry says this will be Austin’s final match as champion! He laughs as we go to a video package highlighting tonight’s main event. Vince McMahon came out to join Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler for our main event.
WWF Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin© vs. The Undertaker vs. Kane The bell rang and it appeared as The Undertaker and Kane would double team Austin. Austin stroke first, though, take Kane down with a few hard shots. Undertaker than began the assault on Austin as Kane came back up and joined in on the fight. Taker and Kane whip Austin into the ropes and they hit a double big boot. Vince cheers on the brothers as Undertaker holds Austin in the corner so Kane can attack him. Taker soon lets go as he picks up Austin and grabs him by the throat, but Austin hits him with a low blow! Taker goes down as Austin trades blow with Kane, knocking him out of the ring! Austin then assaulted Taker before tossing him out of the ring. As the brothers got up on the outside, Austin leaped from the apron and took both men down! He hammered on them with multiple shots. The crowd cheered for Austin as he picked up Kane and dragged him to the announcers table, banging his head against it. Austin then tore apart the table, flipping off Vince McMahon as well, but The Undertaker hit himself from behind with a steel chair! Kane got up and he grabbed Austin by the throat, along with Taker, as they chokeslammed him through the table! The crowd booed as Austin was out in a pile of wreckage. Soon, they were back into the ring, and Taker was holding up Austin. Kane went for a big boot, but Austin moved and Kane hit The Undertaker instead! “The Phenom” got back up, and he didn’t look pleased with his younger brother. Soon, after a heated confrontation, the two started to trade blows! McMahon started to yell at them, but they couldn’t hear as they were going at it right in the center of the ring! Suddenly, Austin came back in with a chair and drilled both of them in the skull with it! Soon enough, they found their way back to the outside again as Undertaker ripped apart the Spanish Announce table. He took the chair and drilled Kane with it multiple times, sending him to the floor. Austin then went after Taker, but he was only hit with it as well! Austin was busted open and out on the table as Taker went to the top rope. No one was sure what he was doing, but THE UNDERTAKER LEAPED OFF THE TOP ROPE AND PUT AUSTIN THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A LEGDROP! The crowd was amazed as both men were down at ringside, carnage was everywhere! Soon, at the end of the match both Taker and Kane had each other in choke holds! Kane was able to overpower his brother, and he dropped him with a Chokeslam! That was when Austin sneaked in and hit him with the Stunner! The crowd got loud as Austin covered, but McMahon pulled the ref out of the ring! The ref wasn’t sure what to do as Austin went to the outside and began to chase McMahon around the ringside! McMahon slid in the ring, and so did Austin, but Taker was waiting there and he grabbed Austin by the throat before turning it into a Tombstone Piledriver! The Undertaker covered as McMahon forced the ref to make the count, and he did so against his will! Winner and THE NEW WWF Champion: The Undertaker
After the match, Vince is full of joy as he grabs the WWF Championship and hands it over to The Undertaker. Undertaker raises the title high in the air to the displeasure of the crowd. Austin then slowly got back up and he chased McMahon out of the ring! He chased Vince up the entrance war until staff came out and stopped him. The show closes with Undertaker standing with the WWF Championship in the ring as Vince flips off Austin on the entrance way! Judgment Day: In Your House going off the air!

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 12th October 1998...The origins of the Corporation kicking off the show as per usual, is average I suppose. I'm looking forward to how this turns out. The promo turning into a feud progressing storyline setting up Judgment Day on Sunday is pretty fair, interested in where this Ken Shamrock and Stone Cold Steve Austin situation turns out. Edge beating Gangrel was obvious, with the typical formula that Edge will be facing the heel WWF European Champion Owen Hart on Sunday night. Did like Gangrel attacking everything he saw. Rey Mysterio Jr beating Scott Taylor was pretty predictable, hope that Too Much get retribution on the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion though. TAKA Michinoku and Rob Van Dam would have quite the awesome match, but I am not sure about how TAKA won, and that RVD's WWF Hardcore Championship wasn't on the line. Did sort of make sense though, did like Andrew Martin leaving RVD unconscious. Could be a good challenge for RVD. The Rock and the Dudley Boyz; strange combination, but good form against the three Nation members. Triple H and Owen Hart put on a great match, good win for the WWF Intercontinental Champion. Mankind debuting Mr Socko is a strange way to debut the sock, nice attack with D-Generation X though, this feud should surely elevate Mankind back into the main event title picture. Val Venis with a win against Jeff Jarrett was pretty odd, didn't like how this was to format Venis and Dustin Runnels' storyline (which is still logical), but Jarrett is just floating right now. He needs something to do. The LOD 2000 beating Southern Supremacy was predictable, just forwarding the match for the WWF Tag Team Championships this Sunday. Interested in how Judgment Day works out. And lastly, good win for Austin and Shamrock, overcoming the odds of the massive 'Taker, Kane and Vader alliance. Overall, a great send-off show before Judgment Day.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 18th October 1998...The Jackyl's promo was quite nice, got straight to the point. I wonder if Faarooq will follow soon. Hell's Henchman boys. Good squash, but I'm sure we've had Bradshaw and Aguila many of times in recent months. Stone Cold Steve Austin's promo was great, got us prepared for tonight's main event at Judgment Day, for the WWF Championship. I did like D-Generation X's hunting for Mankind in the boiler room. Wish that the Headbangers defeated Southern Supremacy though, much prefer Mosh and Thrasher. The Nation quoting the Rock in their promo before Judgment Day was quite a nice touch. Jeff Jarrett and Steve Blackman would have bored me a lot. Good call to end the show with DX getting jumped by Mankind. Not a bad show, just forwarding, last minute build for the pay-per-view.
WWF Judgment Day: In Your House: Sunday 18th October 1998...Good choice to open the show, with Owen Hart defending the WWF European Championship successfully against Edge. I expected Gangrel to appear at some point; I just wonder where this will take us. Rey Mysterio Jr beating Brian Christopher was very predictable. This feud with Too Much has been 100% Mysterio on offence. Wish that Too Much had more momentum, like actually winning the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Val Venis beating Dustin Runnels would have been more of a popular decision, Runnels was awful in this role. I hope he transforms into Goldust soon enough. The Rock beating D-Lo Brown is a good move, great opportunity alone for Brown to face the future main eventer. The Dudley Boyz beating LOD 2000 seemed likely, I just wonder what is next for LOD 2000. They definitely can't become WWF Tag Team Champions at this stage in their careers in my opinion. Vader beating Ken Shamrock was a pleasant surprise. This match could have used a stipulation or a gimmick I feel. Triple H beating Mankind was good in a No-Disqualification match; dislike that the WWF Intercontinental Championship wasn't actually on the line though, really. And lastly very glad that the Undertaker walked out as WWF Champion. Very long awaited. Finally someone has managed to defeat the mammoth Stone Cold Steve Austin title reign. I wonder what is in store for Survivor Series, I can quickly assume Kane and Undertaker feuding. Overall, decent show with not so many problems, wondering what to expect in the next couple of weeks.

Good opener to kick off the show. I was wondering if this was going to be Edge’s breakthrough match to become a upper-midcard guy, but Owen winning is fine as well. The Edge/Gangrel feud is actually kind of interesting and entertaining. Figured that Rey would go over Christopher, and I liked the ending with Rey fighting off both Christopher and Taylor. I don’t know if we are going to see six man challenge for the lightweight championship considering Taka and the Hardy’s got involved afterwards, that would be a sick match, though. Venis/Runnels didn’t really entertain me, but the right guy went over. No surprise whatsoever that Rock went over D’Lo. A decent tag title match, good win for the Dudleys. I’m very happy to see Vader go over Shamrock here. Seemed like a solid match as well. The DQ finish for HHH/Mankind obviously means this is going to drag out further. I can live with that. A very good main event and I liked that the Undertaker has won the championship, I prefer him over Kane in this diary. Overall, I thought this was a very good pay per view. Sure some of the outcomes were obvious, but they appeared to be good matches.

-A new WWF Champion is here, The Undertaker. Right now there are plans leading into a big storyline going into Wrestlemania, which is expected to begin very soon. WWF has a huge main event planed for the last Mania of the 1900s.
-Recently, rumors have it that multiple superstars will move up the card. Names being thrown around are Jeff Jarrett, Val Venis, D-Lo Brown, and Owen Hart. Jeff is expected to begin a program with another up and coming superstar in the WWF very soon.
-On Sunday Night HeAT, The Jackyl returned with Bradshaw. Rumors have it that soon he will start up a stable with three to four superstars. The stable appears to be a dark stable, with Jackyl hellbent on taking control over the World Wrestling Federation.
-The final Pay Per View of 1998 has been named. The show is going to be named Armageddon: In Your House. *The poster can be seen here*

WWF Judgment Day; Happy to see Owen Hart retain the European Championship, and Gangrel get involved in the match. This Edge/Gangrel feud is interesting. Pleased that Rey Mysterio retained the Light Heavyweight Championship here, not too keen on Brian Christopher. Loved the aftermath with TAKA Michinoku and The Hardy Boyz coming for the save. Was expecting Dustin Runnels to win this, but I'm still happy to see Val Venis come out victorious. Obvious victory for The Rock, this is his time, it's time for him to rise. Glad that The Dudley Boyz picked up the win, I think the Legion of Doom are outdated now. Surprised, yet happy to see Vader win, he's a beast, but so is Shamrock. I think Shamrock will get his revenge soon. Clever finish to the Triple H/Mankind match with the DQ. There's obviously another match there. YES! Extremely glad to see The Undertaker become the new WWF Champion. Great ending to the show.

WWF @ Milwaukee, WI - Bradley Center - October 19, 1998 Raw is War kicks off with a video highlight the main event of Judgment Day: In Your House last night. It shows all of the huge spots like the double chokeslam, leg drop, chair shots, and etc. It finally gets to the part where Austin hits the Stunner on Kane, only for Vince McMahon to stop the count. Austin then chased McMahon, only to get hit by a Tombstone Piledriver! Taker covered for the three before McMahon handed him the title. The video ends with Austin going after McMahon before being held back by security as McMahon flipped Austin off!
The pyro kicks off as we are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They hype up a huge night, because tonight we will see Commissioner Slaughter make a huge announcement, The Rock versus Jeff Jarrett, The Dudley Boyz taking on D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry, and in our main event, Mankind, Triple H, and Kane face off in a triple threat match to see who will take on The Undertaker at Survivor Series for the WWF Championship! Jerry talks about how great it fells that Austin is no longer the WWF Champion as Vince McMahon, Vader, and the goons make their way out to the ring.
In the ring is a red carpet and the WWF Championship in a case. Vince McMahon has a huge smile on his face as he welcomes everyone to the first night of a new era! The crowd boos as Vince says he has been waiting to do this since the night after Wrestlemania, and he would like to present you with your new World Wrestling Federation champion, The Undertaker! Undertaker comes out to a mixed reaction as he climbs into the ring. Taker takes a microphone and tells Vince what he did last night was not for him, but it was for himself! The crowd reacts slightly positive to that as Vince congratulates The Undertaker and precedes to hand him the title, only to be interrupted by the sound of glass shattering! Undertaker takes his title as Stone Cold makes his way out to the ring, only to be surrounded by security. Austin can’t get through as he orders for a microphone, and he gets one. He tells Vince last night he was screwed out of the WWF Championship and the only thing stopping him from going down there and kicking his ass are all these damn security guards in his face. Austin goes on to say he heard that there is going to be a Number One Contenders match tonight for the WWF title, but Austin says that is a load of crap because he still has his rematch! The crowd cheers as Vince tells them to shut up. He says to Austin he doesn’t deserve a rematch, and he won’t get a rematch! The crowd boos as Undertaker tells Vince he would fight Austin right here and right now. Vince tells Undertaker the match isn’t going to happen, because Austin will be facing Vader up next! Vader smirks as Austin yells at Vince, Raw is War going to a break!
Break
Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Vader(w/Vince McMahon) VIA DQ This was a pretty good match, as these two have locked horns multiple times this year. In the end, Vince handed Vader a steel chair, and he proceeded to hit Austin in the head with it!
Austin was down as Vader continued to use the chair. Vince cheered Vader on as he dragged Austin to the corner. He put the steel chair on his ribs, but then Ken Shamrock ran out to the ring! The crowd cheered as Shamrock traded blows with Vader. Shamrock got the upper hand and backed Vader into the corner, continuing the shots. Vader soon rolled out of the ring after kicking Shamrock off when he went for an Ankle Lock. Shamrock yelled at them to get in the ring, but Vader told Ken he was finished with him!
Catch the encore presentation of Judgment Day: In Your House tomorrow night at eight P.M. eastern!
Break
We return to see a reply of what just transpired with Austin, Vader, and Ken Shamrock. Before we go live we see Steve Blackman walking backstage. Al Snow then walks up to him with Head in hand. Steve asks Al what he wants. Snow tells Blackman he heard that Steve has a tag match up next and he is ready to go. Steve tells Snow he isn’t his tag partner, now he needs to go get lost. Snow looks confused as Steve tells him he is teaming with Val Venis tonight. Snow argues with him saying if he isn’t the tag partner, he’ll go to ringside with him! Steve tells Snow just to stay back here and he walks off. Snow then follows him anyway as we go to ringside.
Dustin Runnels and Bradshaw(w/The Jackyl) def. Val Venis and Steve Blackman(w/Al Snow & Head) This was a decent tag match and before the match, Val Venis took a microphone and told Dustin “just wait for next week.” In the end, The Jackyl distracted the ref, allowing a much darker version of Faarooq to come in and hit a huge clothesline on Steve Blackman! Runnels took out Venis as Bradshaw covered for the three.
Following the match, Snow checked on Blackman as Runnels went after Venis again. Runnels grabbed Venis from behind, but Venis fought back and took Runnels with a forearm shot to the face! Runnels was down as he backed up the ramp, Venis telling him that he has something to show him next week! Meanwhile, Jackyl stood with Bradshaw and Faarooq in the center of the ring. He had a microphone and he announces Faarooq being his new recruit, but he isn’t stopping with these two! The crowd boos as Jackyl says the World Wrestling Federation will be theirs one day!
Break
A video plays, showing where you can see the WWF live in your area!
Billy Gunn(w/Road Dogg) def. Owen Hart This could be considered an upset. Owen Hart did have the Sharpshooter locked in on Billy Gunn, but with the ref having his back turned to ask Gunn if he would submit, Road Dogg nailed Owen Hart with his cast from outside the ring! Hart staggered as Gunn hit the Fame-Ass-Er stealing a win!
Billy Gunn celebrated his victory over the European Champion to a chorus of boos. Has “Mr. Bad Ass” earned a title match with the help from his tag team partner?
Backstage Kevin Kelly is set to interview “The People’s Champion” The Rock. Kevin Kelly asks The Rock about match against Jeff Jarrett up next on Raw is War. The Rock says tonight will be like every other night and he will walk down to the people’s ring and lay the Smackdown! He talks about how Jeff Jarrett has a new attitude, but so does The Rock, and it’s not being pissed off at everyone and their mother for breathing! Rock compares Jarrett to an angry old man, and it doesn’t matter how old you are, if you’re the Rock’s opponent, he will beat your roody poo candy ass! If you smell what the Rock is cooking!
Up next on Raw is War, The Rock takes on Jeff Jarrett!
Break
A reply is shown of last night with The Rock defeating D-Lo Brown at Judgment Day: In Your House.
The Rock def. Jeff Jarrett This was actually a pretty good match and these two meshed well. In the end, Jeff tried to use his guitar on The Rock, but Rock caught him and hit The Rock Bottom to get the three!
The crowd cheered The Rock as he celebrated his victory. Jeff rolled to the outside, irate. As The Rock was celebrating his victory on the turnbuckle, Jarrett went back in the ring and grabbed the guitar! He pulled The Rock off the turnbuckles and creamed him with it! The crowd booed as Jeff stood over Rock, trash talking.

Triple H says last night it was proven Mankind is mentally insane and needs to be locked up. Triple assures Kevin that it doesn’t matter what happened after the match, he beat Mankind. Triple H talks about how earlier Billy Gunn defeated Owen Hart, and the success of DX will grow tonight after Sean Waltman beats Edge, and he becomes Number One Contender for the WWF Championship. He says he isn’t afraid of “The Deadman” and he will become the WWF Champion.
The Dudley Boyz def. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry VIA DQ This was a decent match with these two teams going back and forth. Soon, the champions went for the Dudley Death Drop, but D-Lo Brown slipped out and hit D-Von with a low blow! Henry attacked Bubba from behind as the ref threw out the match.
The Nation of Domination continued the beat down on The Dudley Boyz until The Headbangers ran out! They started to get into a brawl with The Nation as soon Southern Supremacy came out! The teams were brawling as Faarooq and Bradshaw came out again and they easily took out Southern Supremacy. They took out The Headbangers next with a few clotheslines and a powerbomb from Bradshaw. The hit a double Clothesline on Mark Henry before Faarooq took out D-Lo Brown. They then took advantage of the downed champions as they put the boots to them. The Jackyl smiled on the ramp as the two finished off their beat down, leaving the ring.
Break
We return from break with Commissioner Slaughter already in the ring with a box covered in a black cloth. He says they still have three more matches booked to take place so he wants to make this quick. He then calls out Jacqueline and Sable to the ring. Jacqueline comes out with “Marvelous” Marc Mero and Sable walks out to a huge ovation from the Milwaukee crowd. Jacqueline and Marc Mero share some heated words with Sable as Commissioner Slaughter interrupts them. Slaughter says management has noticed the reaction the Women of the World Wrestling Federation get, and it is time for them to have a prize to fight for. The crowd cheers as Slaughter announces that two female workers will be returning and two workers will be debuting here in the coming weeks. He goes on to say we will have a tournament following a six women elimination tag match with the finals being a triple threat match at Armageddon: In Your House! He tells the ladies they will be the Captains of their respective teams and their teammates will be announced very shortly. Slaughter then revels what is behind the cloth, and it is the Women’s title! Jacqueline takes a microphone and says that they might as well hand the title over to her because everyone knows she will win. Sable rolls her eyes as suddenly Marc Mero sneaks up from behind. He taunts Sable, promoting her to slap him in the face! Jacqueline attacks her from behind and beats down on her until Sable fights back and takes her down with a clothesline. Jacqueline and Mero retreat, taunting her as Andrew Martin makes his way out for his match.
Andrew Martin def. Savio Vega This match was predictable from the start. Martin got the win following a Pump-Handle Slam.
Martin celebrated his first victory as his own man until the Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam came from the crowd. As Martin turned around “Mr. Monday Night” nailed Martin with the title! The crowd booed as Van Dam went to the top rope and hit Andrew Martin with the Five Star Frog Splash! Van Dam yelled at his former bodyguard as we faded to a break.

Rob Van Dam def. Al Snow(w/Head) to RETAIN the Hardcore Championship This was a nice way to kick off the show. Al Snow had Van Dam down after hitting him with Head, but Faarooq and Bradshaw ran in and attacked Al Snow! They hit a double powerbomb onto a chair as The Jackyl watched on. They left the ring as Van Dam went to the top rope, hitting the five start frog splash!
As Van Dam celebrated his victory, the theme of Andrew Martin hit and he came out, charging. Van Dam rushed out of the ring as Martin called him in. Van Dam refused and backed up the aisle as Martin snatched a microphone. He said he took Van Dam’s crap for months and months, but now it is time for Van Dam to get what is coming to him. The crowd cheers as Martin says in three weeks time he will get his ass kicked, because at Survivor Series he will defend the Hardcore Championship against you guess it, Andrew Martin! Hunter says he should be number one contender and three weeks from now he should be the WWF Champion! McMahon doesn’t look happy with the DX leader and he says he noticed it has almost been a month since he last defends his Intercontinental Championship. He says he should focus on that title a little more, because tomorrow night on Raw is War he will defend it against both the former champion Ken Shamrock and the future champion Vader in a triple threat match! Triple H can’t believe it as Vader smirks. Waltman says they we will deal with Austin themselves before leaving.

Triple H tells Austin he cost him the number one contender-ship to the WWF championship and he is out here to deal with him. Austin asks him if he is threatening him, and Sean Waltman tells him that they are. Austin smirks and says if Triple H wants to deal with him, then how about tomorrow night on Raw is War they can fight in this very ring! The crowd cheers, but Triple H says he already has a match for tomorrow night, but he has the perfect opponent for him, Sean Waltman!
