WWF @ Lexington, KY - Rupp Arena - November 16, 1998 Raw is War starts off with a video package highlight Survivor Series. It shows brief clips from the undercard matches and more footage from the two main events. It mainly focuses on The Deadly Game and the closing moments with Austin giving the stunner to Shane McMahon. Stone Cold slides back into the ring, but is Chokeslammed by his own tag team partner, The Big Show! Kane then covers Austin and gets the three, Stone Cold now being fired from the WWF! The video ends with Austin hitting the Stunner on Kane and raising his arms before the curtains.
The pyro goes off and we are greeted by Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole, Jim Ross being absent tonight due to travel issues. They hype up the fallout episode of Raw is War with “Double J” Jeff Jarrett and Vader teaming up take on the huge tandem of “The People’s Champion” The Rock and “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock! Suddenly, the crowd erupts into loud boos as the theme of The Big Show hits over the arena. Big Show comes out alongside Vince McMahon, the goons, Shane McMahon, Vader, and Jeff Jarrett.
Vince takes the microphone first and tells everyone that currently a party is going on in the back due to a man who shall not be mentioned on this broadcast no longer being with the company. He says he would like to erase that man from history and the terrible stain he left on his company’s image. McMahon says he would like to point out the three wrestlers standing with him in the ring tonight are the ones that could lead a company. McMahon says he would like to personally thank the Big Show for getting rid of you know who, and he says Show now has a few things to say. Vince goes to hand him the microphone as the crowd chants “We Want Austin!” Vince stops for a second before yelling at them to shut up and that he will never be back! Before he can continue, the lights dim and the theme song of the WWF Champion, The Undertaker, hits! He comes out to a mixed reaction as usual from the crowd as Vince is shocked, but he stands behind his bodyguard, Vader. Undertaker has a microphone and he tells Vince he knew that he wanted Austin one on one in that ring. He reminds Vince the reaper always gets what he wants, and if he doesn’t, somebody pays for it. He walks right past Vader and grabs McMahon by his tie, but he is quickly thrown off by Vader. Vader goes to strike, but “The Lord of Darkness” catches him mid swing! Yet, before he can strike back the theme of Mankind hits to a loud ovation from the crowd. Mick already has a microphone and says last night he took one hell of a beating after suffering three tombstones. He says anyone with sanity would have stayed home tonight, but nothing can hold Mankind down! Mankind goes on to say Taker shouldn’t be thinking about Austin when he is here in the WWF, because there is no length he will not go to become the WWF Champion! Vince stops him right there and tells Mankind that gives him a great idea. He says if he can beat The Big Show right here tonight, then he will face The Undertaker at Armageddon: In Your House! The crowd pops, but Taker stops McMahon and tells him he is tired of other people fighting his battles for him. Vince smiles and pats him on the back, and says Mankind could also face The Undertaker himself in a No DQ match as well! He then tells Mick to get down here, because his first match with Big Show is next!
Break
Mankind def. The Big Show(w/Vince McMahon) VIA DQ; Mankind came slugging in this match, throwing everything at The Big Show. Eventually the match came to the outside where the Big Show began throw Mankind into everything in sight. With Mankind on his knees, Vince handed Big Show a chair, and Show nearly took Mankind’s head off with it!
The crowd boos as Show grabs Mankind by the throat. McMahon clears the announcers table and Big Show drives Mankind right throughout with a huge chokeslam! Mankind is down as the new alliance between Show and McMahon is pleased. Cole wonders how on earth Mankind could face Undertaker later on tonight in our main event.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with “Double J” Jeff Jarrett and Vader. He comments on how we saw earlier tonight Jeff seems to be in an alliance with Vader and Mr. McMahon. Double J tells Kelly a lot of superstars in the World Wrestling Federation, including The Rock and Ken Shamrock, have been pissing him off! He says he is the most charismatic and most talent superstar in the WWF today and Vader is the absolute toughest and strongest superstar! He says together they are absolutely unstoppable and they will crush anyone who gets in their way, and that starts with Ken Shamrock and The Rock tonight! Before they leave Jarrett says don’t piss us off and Vader yells it’s time to kick some ass tonight!
Break
Backstage Sean Waltman is seen getting ready in the locker room with The New Age Outlaws. Suddenly, Intercontinental Champion Triple H and Chyna walk into the room. They all greet each other in a rather immature manner, except for Chyna. Hunter quickly turns his attention to Waltman, and he talks about he is in the number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship with Val Venis and Edge. He tells Waltman to make sure that he wins the match tonight, because next week, D-Generation X doesn’t have time for Val Venis and Edge, they have much “bigger” matters to attend too. They all smirk and nod their heads as The Outlaws and Chyna leave the room for the match up next. Hunter tells Waltman he’ll be right back and leaves the room. Yet, as soon as he leaves, we can hear Hunter cry out in pain and a loud thud! Waltman runs out of the room to find Hunter laid out against the wall.
The New Age Outlaws(w/Chyna) def. Owen Hart and Andrew Martin; The crowd was solidly behind Owen Hart and Andrew Martin tonight. Martin seemed more motivated as the new Hardcore Champion. Yet, that all came to a suddenly halt as Road Dogg used his cast to get out of a pump-handle slam and to get the three count!
The crowd booed as The Outlaws celebrated their win in the ring. Martin was still down and they taunted him by pouring water over his face and slapping him. They were laughing, but suddenly Owen Hart came back in the ring and hit a huge dropkick on Road Dogg! James flew out of the ring and “Bad Ass” Bill Gunn quickly retreated. Owen tended to Andrew as The Outlaws remained on the ramp, yelling at Owen. Gunn motions that he’ll be the next European Champion on the live edition of Sunday Night HeAT next week!
The WWF Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz, are seen walking in the corridor backstage, their match against Southern Supremacy is up next!

The Dudley Boyz def. Southern Supremacy(w/Jim Cornette); Southern Supremacy was looking to rebound from a tough loss to Hell’s Henchmen last night at Survivor Series. Despite Jim Cornette trying to interfere, The Dudleyz puts Bart Gunn away with the Dudley Death Drop.
Following the match The Dudley Boyz celebrate with their tag team championships, but the theme of Hell’s Henchmen hit. The Jackyl, who was in obvious pain, held a microphone in hand. He says last night the both of them got lucky in two ways. They got lucky they came in last to the gauntlet match, and they got lucky it was a tables match. He says army of hell is collecting new members in preparation to seize control of the World Wrestling Federation, but first they will take control of the WWF Tag Team Championships. He says it’s time that the two of them man up and fight his team in a regular one on one match. Bubba takes a microphone, he stutters at first, but eventually spits out that they accept a match at Armageddon: In Your House. Jackyl smirks and nods his head, leaving his team to run into the ring! The four men brawl around the ring and ringside area as we go to a break.
Up next is the number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship, Val Venis versus Sean Waltman versus Edge.
Break
Val Venis is backstage with a towel on, being prepared to be interview by Kevin Kelly. Kevin asks Val about his huge opportunity coming up next. Val says it was only a matter of time before something like this came “The Big Valbowski’s” way. He says tonight he will defeat Sean Waltman and Edge, and next week he will defeat Triple H. He smirks before saying if you’re a female and you want to talk about a real “huge opportunity,” he’ll leave his locker room door open after his match. Val walks off the set and heads out to the ring.
Val Venis def. Sean Waltman & Edge to become Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Championship; The crowd was almost spilt in between Val and Edge tonight, just as long as Waltman didn’t win. Eventually, they got their wish, but because Venis pulled a fast one. Edge hit a spear on Waltman, but Venis threw him out of the ring and nailed the money shot on Sean. He hooked the leg and got the three.
The crowd popped as Venis celebrated his victory on the top rope.
An advertisement plays for the latest WWF Magazine, the December 1998 issue. The Rock is featured on the cover this month. Pick up your copy tomorrow; it’s available wherever books are sold.
Speaking of The Rock, he is shown in the backstage area with the magazine when Ken Shamrock approaches him. Shamrock tells Rock he wants to cut it straight, up next, if Rock leaves Vader all to him, and then he’ll leave Jarrett all to The Rock. Rock nods his head and tells Shamrock he knows what he’s saying. He smirks and says let’s go kick some candy ass, if you smelllllllllllllllllllll what the Rock… is cooking.
Break
An advertisement for Armageddon: In Your House is shown. It features The Undertaker, Mankind, Kane, The Rock, and Triple H.
Jeff Jarrett and Vader def. Ken Shamrock and The Rock; Shamrock called Vader into the ring, and the big man accepted. They traded shots back and forth, but Ken ended up getting the advantage and he knocked Vader down with a huge right. Eventually at the end, while Rock and Jarrett were the legal men, they took their fight out of the ring and all over the arena. While the ref was distracted by them, Jeff grabbed his guitar and creamed Rocky in the head with it! The crowd booed as Jarrett covered and stole the win!
Following the match Jarrett strutted in the ring as Shamrock and Vader took their brawl up the ramp. They traded blow after blow, but it seemed like Vader was starting to get the upper hand. Vader really took control on the stage, and it seemed like he was about to knock Shamrock off, but Shamrock was able to duck a punch. He then went all out on Vader, hitting multiple body shots. He then got a kick to the knee and backed up a little bit. He then charged and rammed into Vader, sending them both flying off the stage! The crowd is in awe as both men are laying unconscious out on the floor, the ref calling for help. Jarrett runs over and checks on his new tag team partner, Vader, as medical staff and personal run out to assist.
Break
We return to get a medical update on Ken Shamrock and Vader as Shamrock is show being loaded up into an ambulance. Michael Cole says both men have regain consciousness, but the chances of them competing next week, or soon for that matter, are looking very slim.
A replay of earlier is show with The Dudley Boyz and Hell's Henchmen brawling. It shows how it ended with all four men making their way to the outside and staff getting in between them. Hell's Henchmen leave easy, but The Dudley Boyz insist on continuing the fight.
Backstage we see Edge sitting alone in a mysterious room watching the broadcast from a monitor. Suddenly, Gangrel and Christian walk in and Edge stands up. Gangrel says they should no longer fight, and the two brothers should finally come together again. He says they should all help each other instead of destroying each other in falls count anywhere matches. Edge simply shakes his head no before saying “I don’t need, or want, you’re help.” Gangrel doesn’t give a response before leaving the room with Christian.
Sable def. Debra to advance in the WWF Woman’s Title Tournament; This was a pretty basic woman’s match. The crowd was really hot for Sable and she put Debra away with a Sable Bomb.
Sable celebrates her advancement in the Woman’s Title Tournament as Raw is War heads to a break.
Break
Backstage we are in the trainer’s room with Kevin Kelly, Mankind, and the head trainer. Kevin asks the trainer if Mankind can still compete in the main event against The Undertaker tonight. He responds by saying he does not advise Mick to compete in the NO DQ match tonight. Suddenly, Mankind leaps for his seat and says there is no chance in hell of him not competing tonight. He says nothing will stop him from becoming the WWF Champion, and that’s final. He storms out of the room as we go back live.
Brian Christopher(w/Scott Taylor) def. TAKA Michinoku; This was actually a pretty good Light Heavyweight Match, despite getting little time. TAKA went for the Michinoku Driver, but Christopher evaded it and got the three with a sneaky school boy!
The crowd boos as Too Much celebrates the victory on the outside. Scott Taylor doesn't seem to be as excited, but Brian dances with his Light Heavyweight Championship as Michinoku is clearly displeased with the result.
Backstage Jeff Jarrett is gloating about his victory to a staff member, who has his back turned, Debra, and Jacqueline. He talks about how easy it was for him to defeat The Rock two times in two nights! He laughs about it, but suddenly the staff member strikes him with a punch! The two ladies are confused as the man re adjusts his hat and walks off, leaving Jarrett holding his jaw on the floor.
We see Mankind and the WWF Champion, the Undertaker walking backstage in a split screen, their No DQ main event is up next!
Break
Vince McMahon once again was on commentary for our main event, saying he was looking forward to seeing The Undertaker take care of Mankind. He also announced that as an award for his actions last night, Kane will be receiving a WWF title match against The Undertaker live next week on Raw is War.
Mankind def. The Undertaker in a No DQ Match to become the Number One Contender for the WWF Championship; This match was hard hitting and exciting. At one point, Mankind locked in the Mandible Claw on Taker, and he was about to win, but Kane made his way out for the first time tonight! The crowd booed as he nailed a devastating chokeslam on Mankind. For some reason, the crowd popped, but the camera zoomed out and another superstar fighting against McMahon, The Rock, ran out! He nailed right after left on Kane, even knocking him out of the ring. He then sized The Undertaker up, turned him around, and nailed the Rock Bottom! Rock left the ring as Mankind went to the top and he hit an elbow drop! He covered and got the three!
The crowd was still on their feet as Mankind was proclaimed the winner. McMahon literally threw his headset to the ground and stomped his feet. Raw is War goes off the air with Rock out of sight and Mankind on the top rope, celebrating his victory.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 16th November 1998...Nice promo to kick off RAW with Mr McMahon celebrating with the Corporation. Did like the involvement of The Undertaker, and I'm interested where tonight will lead going into Armageddon: In Your House. Mankind and Big Show going at it to kick off the show was an interesting call, liked the blatant disqualification finish, he's an intimidating monster at this point. The New Age Outlaws beating Owen Hart and Andrew Martin was the right call, odd combination of Owen and Martin though really. Owen and Billy Gunn on Sunday Night HeAT in...two weeks? I don't understand that, why not this weekend? Could be a solid match. Capital Carnage could be interesting. The Dudley Boyz beating Southern Supremacy is fair, nothing special here. Hell's Henchmen getting the WWF Tag Team Championships shot at the Dudleys at Armageddon is a great call as it suits the pay-per-view name. Val Venis over Sean Waltman and Edge was an odd call, but I sort of like this idea. Who is the WWF Intercontinental Champion at this point? Triple H? That feud could potentially make or break Val's young career. Jeff Jarrett and Vader beating Ken Shamrock and The Rock sounds like a fun match. Liked Jarrett clocking Rock with a guitar for the win too. Shamrock and Vader feuding could be...cool I guess. Sable beating Debra was predicted. She's winning the WWF Womens Championship in my book. Brian Christopher and TAKA Michinoku getting air time? Love it. Good win for Christopher against the former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. And lastly, hot main event win for Mankind against the Undertaker in double duty to give Mankind a WWF Championship shot despite all odds. Pretty solid fallout show, some decisions that were illogical though.

WWF @ Columbus, OH - Schottenstein Center - November 22, 1998 The HeAT opening video is played before we are greeted by Shane McMahon and Michael Cole. They hype up tonights in ring action which is highlighted by Jeff Jarrett versus Edge in our main event. Also, Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku take on Too Much, Val Venis battles the Godfather, and D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry face The Headbangers! The theme song of Too Much, WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor, hits to some heat from the crowd.
Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku def. Too Much; An exciting back and forth encounter to kick off the action tonight. Distain was apparent in Too Much tonight as Taylor is still disappointed with the loss at Survivor Series. Eventually, it finally got to them as when Taylor was arguing with Christopher over a blind tag Mysterio kicked Christopher into Taylor, knocking him off the apron, before getting the three on Brian with a hurricanrana into a pin!
The crowd pops as Mysterio and TAKA celebrate their victory in the ring. Too Much is in absolute shock at the loss and Taylor looks rather frustrated with Brian’s antics again.
Break
Backstage Brian Christopher is shown with his Light Heavyweight Championship, irate. Scott Taylor is shown walking along when Christopher calls over to him. Scott Taylor stops as Brian walks up to him and says he knows that Scott is jealous of his success, but that shouldn’t stop him from winning matches! Taylor looks baffled and angered by saying he’s not jealous of him; he’s just fed up with his stupid antics. Scott walks off, leaving Christopher rather surprised.
The theme song of Val Venis hits to a loud pop and he walks out with two of Godfather’s Hos! The commentators are confused as Val walks down to the ring with a large smirk on his face. He grabs a microphone and wastes no time in speaking. He talks about his scheduled match with The Godfather has been put off, as they have made a little deal earlier on tonight. He smirks before saying now “The Big Valbowski” has something he needs to get on top of! Before Val can leave with the ladies, the theme song of Sean Waltman hits! The crowd boos as Waltman walks out with Chyna and he has a microphone. He tells Venis he got a lucky break on Monday, and now it’s time he shows him what is to come his way on Raw is War when he faces Triple H! He clarifies by saying he wants a match right now, unless he’s not man enough! Val tells him that he accepts, and starts the match right off the bat with a huge right!
Val Venis(w/Godfather’s Hos) def. Sean Waltman(w/Chyna); This was an impromptu match and Venis started off hot. Eventually, Chyna swayed the momentum by tripping Val when he was running off the ropes. Waltman and Venis continued to trade offense for a few minutes until Sean was thrown out of the ring by Val. Eventually, Chyna helped Sean get the offense back on his side, but out of nowhere Venis countered the X-Factor with a back body drop and got the three with a roll-up!
The crowd pops as Venis is declared the winner. Waltman is livid in the ring as Val escapes up the ramp with the Hos, riding on even more momentum into the Intercontinental Championship match tomorrow night!
A short recap of Raw is War is shown. It highlights the opening segment with now dubbed “Corporation” in the ring. It cuts to the opening match of Mankind beating the Big Show via disqualification, allowing him to advance to the number one contenders match against Undertaker. It skips to the main event where Mankind is able to topple 'Taker and the Corporation with help from the Rock. The Rock and Mankind celebrated the victory, a new tag team in the mix?
Break
Following the break, an advertisement for WWF Armageddon: In Your House is played. It hypes up the main event between Mankind and The Undertaker for the WWF Championship.
D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry def. The Headbangers; This was a pretty standard tag team match, which was booked after their encounter at Survivor Series in the tables match. The former Nation members continued to impress, as Henry leveled Mosh with the World’s Strongest Slam, allowing D-Lo to hit the Lo Down and get the three.
D-Lo Brown struts cockily in the ring as Mark Henry stands still with a smirk on his face. Suddenly, we switch over to backstage where we can see The Rock going after another Corporation member, his rival, Jeff Jarrett! The two are trading blows back and forth, with Rock taking the upper hand. It’s obvious to tell The Rock is irate over all the guitar shots and wants to get payback! Rock then takes Jarrett by the head and tosses him right over the refreshment table, causing Jarrett to get soaked! The crowd pops as Rocky goes over, grabs Jarrett again, and throws him threw a curtain! Another camera reveals Rock has thrown him to the entrance area, but as he grabs him again and sets up for the Rock Bottom, he is attacked by Kane! The crowd boos as Jarrett flees to the ring for his match. Kane continues to pour shots into the Rock, and eventually begins choking him! Security has to come out and stop the brutal attack, but Kane does not go down easily. Kane takes a few of them down with hard shots, but eventually, he gives up as Mr. McMahon comes out and calms him down. Rock is left laid out on the stage as Jarrett is shown laughing in the ring. Edge’s theme hits as our main event is up next!
Break
Jeff Jarrett def. Edge; The Corporation member was extra confident going into this one, seeing as he just laid the Rock out backstage. Edge was not one to be taken lightly, though. In the end, Jarrett used a low blow on the Stroke to steal the victory from Edge.
“Double J” celebrates his victory following the match, standing over Edge. He struts across the ring as Sunday Night HeAT goes off the air; a successful night for Jarrett!
WWF @ Columbus, OH - Schottenstein Center - November 23, 1998 RAW is WAR opens up with a video package recapping last week. The Corporation is in the ring talking about their win at Survivor Series, which resulted in Stone Cold being fired, after Big Show turned on his teamed and chokeslammed Austin. The WWF Champion, the Undertaker, interrupts the ceremony. Undertaker warns Vince McMahon that he wants Austin in this ring, and if he doesn’t get that, then he’ll pay the price. Mankind interrupts, saying he’ll do anything for the WWF Championship. Vince tells him he’ll face the Big Show for the right to face ‘Taker at Armageddon, but the champ insists his fights his own battles. Vince tells him he’ll face Mankind as well then in a No DQ match! Mankind wins his first match against Big Show via DQ, and then he ends up beat Undertaker after the Rock interfered and stopped an assault from the Corporation! The video ends with Mankind celebrating his win.
Following the pyro, we are greeted by Jerry “the King” Lawler and Jim Ross. They talk about another huge edition of RAW is WAR, featuring two huge championship matches. The main event will feature the Undertaker defending his WWF Championship against his brother, Kane! Also tonight, Triple H will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Val Venis. Meanwhile, in tag team action, the Rock and Mankind will team up against the Corporation; Big Show and Jeff Jarrett! Jim Ross mentions apparently Al Snow said he plans to “settle the differences” with Steve Blackman. Suddenly, the theme of the Undertaker hits to a mixed reaction.
Undertaker talks about how last week the Rock made the biggest mistake of his now short career in the World Wrestling Federation. ‘Taker says when you play with fire, you get burnt; and when you play with the grim reaper, the final result will be fatal. He also mentions how he thought the three Tombstones he gave to Mankind at Survivor Series would be a big enough of a warning, but it turns out Mick Foley is willing to do anything for a shot at the World Wrestling Federation championship. Yet, he does not realize the ultimate consequences of failure. ‘Taker brings up his match with his brother, Kane, tonight saying Kane has officially sold his services to the lying, backstabbing, and egotistical Vince McMahon. He says Kane is no longer the monster that could defeat himself in Hell in a Cell; he’s nothing more than a puppet for the McMahon family. Suddenly, Vince and Shane McMahon interrupt from the stage, followed by the goons and Big Show. Vince has a microphone and tells Undertaker what Kane did was the smartest career choice he could ever make. Vince says he still has confidence in his relationship with him, but Undertaker needs to realize Stone Cold will never be back in the WWF as long as Vincent McMahon is breathing! The crowd boos, but suddenly, the theme of Mankind hits to a huge pop! McMahon awaits him on the stage, but instead he comes out from the crowd. Standing on the barricade, Foley has a microphone and he warns Undertaker you can drop him on his head as many times as you can, but nothing can stop Mick Foley! The only thing that can stop Mankind from winning that title is too make sure his heart isn’t beating! And he tells Vince if he wants to get involved in their match, he’ll have no problem knocking him out! The crowd pops as McMahon is furious, but Undertaker tells Mankind they have unfinished business, and he wants to settle this right now. Foley shrugs and drops the microphone, and getting in the ring trading fists with ‘Taker! McMahon telling Big Show to break it up, but suddenly Kane’s pyro shoots off in the ring! This distracts Foley just long enough so the champ can hit him with the Chokeslam! The crowd boos and Kane finally comes on the stage, having a stare down with his brother until we go to a break.
Break
We see a replay of Mankind brawling with Undertaker until Kane’s pyro went off, allowing ‘Taker to hit the chokeslam.
Backstage the Rock is shown to a loud pop, angered after the attacks from Sunday Night HeAT. Kevin Kelly asks Rock about the attacks and why he helped Mankind last week. Rock tells Kelly to shut his mouth and know his role before taking the microphone. He says the Rock will not idly stand by and let the Adams Family walk around here with the WWF title and attacking everyone they damn well please! He then brings up Jeff Jarrett’s attack from Sunday Night HeAT, saying his bald monkey ass now belongs to the Great One! He says he wants Jeff Jarrett at Armageddon: In Your House and you better bet every penny you earn that Jeff will be taking a trip down Know Your Role Boulevard right on the corner of Jabroni Drive and he will certainly check directly into the Smackdown Hotel! If ya’ smellllllll what the Rock is cooking!
Edge def. Dustin Runnels; Gangrel and Christian made their way out to the ring during the match. Edge hit the Spear on Runnels, but Dustin had his foot on the rope! Without Edge or the ref noticing, Gangrel pushed his foot off, giving Edge the win!
The crowd pops for Edge after the match as the ref raises his hand. Gangrel and Christian back up the ramp, Gangrel smiling, Edge looking up at them confused.
Break
Jim Ross and Jerry “the King” Lawler welcome us back to RAW is WAR. They remind us of last week with Ken Shamrock and Vader getting into a brawl, which ended in both men falling off the stage! We see a replay of the incident before the cameras go back live. Jim Ross informs us both men suffered damaged ribs in the incident; therefore they could not show up tonight. He does say they will be here next week, but they cannot compete for a number of weeks under doctor’s orders.
Rey Mysterio def. Brian Christopher w/Scott Taylor; There still seems to be some problems between Too Much after the conflict at Survivor Series. After Scott accidently tripped Christopher, Mysterio got him with a Hurricanrana to get the win!
Mysterio celebrates his victory on the turnbuckle as Christopher rolls out of the ring, irate. He grabs his title and begins to argue with Scott Taylor. Christopher says Taylor did it on purpose, but Scott insists it was an accident. The two leave the area and head backstage, still arguing the whole time.
Backstage D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry are talking in the locker room. D-Lo tells Mark he is the “World’s Strongest Man” and he refers to himself as “Mr. Charisma,” but they are lacking some gold around their waists. Mark says he agrees, but it’s not like McMahon is handing out title matches. D-Lo smirks and tells Mark he’s come up with a plan to get both of them title shots, starting with himself tonight. Mark looks interested and D-Lo whispers something in his ear, Mark smirking and nodding. Mark tells him that’s a great idea and they slap five, RAW is WAR going to a break.
Break
Vince McMahon is seen backstage with the “Big Red Machine” Kane. Not much can be heard except for the fact Vince is telling Kane to win the WWF Championship from his brother, the Undertaker, tonight. Suddenly, Patterson and Briscoe come in the room, calling for Mr. “MacMahon.” Vince asks what do they want, and Patterson explains they just found Slaughter knocked out in his office! McMahon yells “what?” and jumps up from his chair; Vince asking who attacked him. Briscoe says they don’t know, and McMahon snaps yelling at them to find out! Another Corporation member attacked! Vince murmurs about Triple H and Jarrett being attacked last week, Slaughter now too?
Non-title; European Champion Owen Hart def. Rob Van Dam; Owen Hart and Van Dam put on a nice wrestling match for once, but eventually Van Dam fell to the Sharpshooter.
The crowd cheers for Owen after the match as he celebrates with the European Championship on the turnbuckle. As he gets off of the turnbuckle, D-Lo Brown hits him from behind! The crowd boos as Owen falls down, D-Lo stomping on him. Mark Henry makes his way into the ring as D-Lo continues to beat on the European Champion. D-Lo tells Mark something, and the “World’s Strongest Man” picks Owen up; and slams him back down with the World’s Strongest Slam! Henry then goes off the ropes and hits Owen with a huge splash! The crowd boos as D-Lo stands over Owen Hart, holding the European Championship.
A graphic is shown hyping our next match; the Rock and Mankind face the Corporation, the Big Show and Jeff Jarrett!
Break
An advertisement plays hyping Armageddon: In Your House. It focuses on the main event of the Undertaker versus Mankind.
Backstage Mr. McMahon is discussing the mystery attacker with Patterson and Briscoe. McMahon announces he won’t let this become a regular thing. He’s going to call this man out, tonight, the way only Vince McMahon can!
The Big Show and Jeff Jarrett def. the Rock and Mankind VIA DQ; Jarrett let Big Show do most of the work in this match. The Corporation tried to isolate Rock in this match, and while Big Show had the ref distracted, Jarrett hit his rival with a low blow! Mankind saw enough, grabbed a chair, and cracked Jarrett right in the skull!
The crowd went nuts as Mankind went insane, Big Show coming from behind and hitting the Chokeslam on Mankind! The crowd boos as Mr. McMahon is seen on the stage, telling Big Show to go after Rock. Show follows orders and grabs Rock and hits him with a huge body slam. He then raises his hand, singling for the Chokeslam. As Show had his palm around Rock’s throat, Mankind was back up and hit him in the back with the chair! The crowd pops as Big Show stammers, Mankind hitting him in the head one more time! Big Show was loopy, but Mankind went off the ropes and hit a running chair shot, finally taking him out of the ring. As he turned around, Jarrett was back up and he nailed Mankind with a guitar shot! McMahon’s smile returns as Jarrett stands over Mankind, Rock back up! Jarrett leaves the ring, Rock pacing back and forth, telling him to get back in the ring!
Al Snow and Steve Blackman are shown walking down a corridor backstage, surprisingly without Head. Steve asks Snow where they are going. Snow tells him to just trust him and he assures Blackman he will “settle their differences” tonight. Blackman doesn’t look very hopeful as they finally reach their destination. Snow opens the door, and it appears to be a therapist office. Steve asks what this is, and Snow tells him if they want to be a great team, then they need to get in each other’s minds! Blackman says he doesn’t want to do it, but Snow tells him they’ve got the best therapist around. Steve asks who, and Snow points to a chair, where we can see Head! Blackman sighs and looks up at the ceiling, Snow walking into the room and taking a seat.
Break
Val Venis makes his way out to the ring to the applause of the crowd. He has a microphone and mentions how up next he’ll be challenging for the big gold title, the Intercontinental Championship. With a cocky smile on his face, Val tells the females in attendance after he wins the title tonight, he’ll have his door open, and just to note; the championship won’t be the only big thing awaiting. Val smiles and laughs before dropping the microphone, the theme of D-Generation X hitting to heat. The Intercontinental Champion, Triple H, makes his way out to the ring. And just like Survivor Series, he promises not only will they beat them, but they will put both of their asses through a table! D-Von takes the microphone and tells them the Jackyl can recruit as many members for their so called crusade he wants, but the only thing that will matter come the pay per view is when it’s two on two! D-Von looks over to Bubba, and says let’s show them. The champions walk down the ramp, but security and referees get in between them and the ring. The crowd was insane as Vince backed away from him, only to bump into the Rock! Vince begged with the Rock before turning around to see Austin! He gulped before trying to make a deal with Austin. He asked for a microphone and told him he had an offer. If he lets him go now, he can have a match with Kane at Armageddon for a chance to get a contract. Austin told him he accepted the deal. Vince was about to leave, but Austin told him to stay there. Vince asked what he wanted, and he just smirked before hitting the Stunner! The crowd popped as McMahon was out in the ring, Austin celebrating with beer. He then looked Rock in the eye and told him to ‘watch his ass.’ We faded to black with the two starring down.
Yet, instead of going off the air we are taken back to the graveyard one more time. There we see the grave has been fully dug, presuming the Undertaker is inside. As the camera pans out, however, it is revealed that Undertaker is standing over the grave and Mankind is inside! The crowd gasps as Undertaker stands over the grave, reciting a ritual as RAW is WAR goes off the air.

WWF @ Baltimore, MD - Arena – December 6, 1998 After the opening video we are greeted by Michael Cole and Shane McMahon. They hype up a huge night of action on Sunday Night HeAT; including matches such as the Godfather versus Mark Henry, Gangrel versus Hardcore Champion Andrew Martin, Steven Regal versus Scorpio, and in our main event the WWF Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz, battle Southern Supremacy! They also announce Val Venis has a message for D-Generation X; and Chyna specifically! The crowd pops suddenly as the theme of the Godfather hits over the PA system.
The Godfather(w/Hos) def. Mark Henry; The Godfather was able to convince D-Lo in leaving the ringside area with two of his hoes. These two ex-partners battled it out for a few minutes until Mark Henry missed a huge splash and Godfather won with a huge Pimp Drop!
The crowd cheered as the Godfather celebrated his huge win with his Hos in the ring, Mark Henry livid on the outside.
Before we go to break, Shane McMahon tells everyone he has a huge announcement right after their next match.
Break
A video recapping RAW is WAR is shown. It highlights the main event of the Rock taking on Kane and Jeff Jarrett in a handicap match. Rock struggles to fight off the two, as members of the Corporation constantly interfere in the match. Finally, the Rock caught a lucky break as Stone Cold Steve Austin broke his way into the arena and attacking the Corporation members with a tire iron! Rock won the match with a Rock Bottom on Double J, but it wasn’t over it. Austin went after McMahon, who got caught in between him and the Rock. Vince pleaded with Austin, and even gave him a match with Kane to earn a contract. Austin accepted it, but then nailed Vince with the Stunner! The video ends with Rock and Austin have a stare down.
Gangrel(w/Christian) def. Andrew Martin; Gangrel stole the win here as Christian distracted the referee as he clocked the champion with a goblet!
Following the match Gangrel and Christian beat down on Martin as the ref tried to stop them. They ignored him, but suddenly Edge’s theme hit over the arena! The crowd popped as Edge made his way out from the crowd and he sprinted for the ring. Gangrel and Christian finally stopped the assault as Edge slid in. After a few moments, Gangrel smirks before leaving with Edge’s brother. Edge looks angered as he keeps his eyes locked on Gangrel.
Shane McMahon then stood up at the announcers table and took a microphone. He asked for everyone’s attention before admitting he had an announcement. He said this was directly from his father, Vince McMahon, earlier on today. Shane said tomorrow night on RAW is WAR, Vince invites Stone Cold Steve Austin to the arena, just six days before his match against Kane at Armageddon: In Your House. The crowd pops as Shane takes his seat, Cole shocked at the announcement.
Still to come tonight, the WWF Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz, take on Southern Supremacy.
Break
As we return to Sunday Night HeAT, Michael Cole and Shane McMahon hype up Armageddon: In Your House. Matches include Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Kane; The Rock versus Jeff Jarrett; Vader versus Ken Shamrock in a No Holds Barred Match; WWF Tag Team Champions the Dudley Boyz taking on Hell’s Henchmen; European Champion Owen Hart defending against D-Lo Brown; The vacant Woman’s title up for grabs as Sable, Luna, and Jacqueline collide. And in the main event, the Undertaker defends the WWF title against Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match. Shane and Cole ponder if Mankind will even be there after Undertaker buried him alive on RAW is WAR.
Steven Regal def. Scorpio; Regal made the ECW alumni tap with the Regal Stretch. Following the match, Regal wasn’t done as he hit him with a Knee Trembler!
A video begins to play as cheap romantic is heard in the background. We are finally taken to a shot of Val Venis in a bed, shirtless. He has a smile on his face as he says ‘Hello, ladies.’ The crowd pops as Val talks about how a number of weeks ago, D-Generation X cost him the Intercontinental Championship. He then mentions how he defeated Triple H in a tag match on RAW is WAR, so he thinks he deserves another shot. Val looks deep into the camera and says this part is for Chyna. He promises her if she gets him another title match, he’ll make it worth her while. Val laughs as the screen fades to black.
Up next, WWF Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz, face Southern Supremacy.
Break
The Dudley Boyz def. Southern Supremacy(w/Jim Cornette); The tag champs took the win after putting Bart away with the Dudley Death Drop.
Following the match Hell’s Henchmen hit the ring as the Dudleyz were being handed their titles. They attacked both from behind and started laying into them. Bradshaw took Bubba and dumped him out of the ring before going out himself and looking under the ring, pulling out the table. The Jackyl watched from the ramp as Bradshaw slid the table in the ring. Faarooq hammered into D-Von as Bradshaw set the table up. Hell’s Henchmen then took D-Von and put him through the table with a double power bomb! HeAT goes off the air with Hell’s Henchmen standing tall with the WWF Tag Team Championships.

Looking through some of the recent events, I certainly like what I've seen. Going back to Survivor Series, I thought the Deadly Game match was very well done. I'm sure Austin will be back at some point, though how it is done is what I look forward to. I do like the three matches set for Armageddon thus far. I'm sure Kane and Mankind will be able to put on a nice World Wrestling Federation Championship match. Seeing both Rock and Jarrett on the rise pleases me. I see Rock going over, but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to see it go the other way. I expect the Dudleys vs. Hell's Henchmen to be an all out brawl of a tag team match. Everything looks great, and I certainly hope this continues since Armageddon looks like it could be a great read. Why in the did I say Kane?

WWF @ New Haven, CT - Coliseum - December 7, 1998 A video recapping last week’s RAW is WAR is shown. The video ends with Rock and Austin having a stare down.
The pyro blasts off and we are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. They hype up a massive show tonight just six days before Armageddon: In Your House. We won’t have just one title match, but two! Andrew Martin defends the Hardcore Championship against Al Snow, and the Dudley Boyz defends the Tag Team Championships against Corporation members Kane and the Big Show! Also tonight Val Venis, Edge, Gangrel, and Christian take on D-Generation X, Ken Shamrock battles Rob Van Dam in a rematch, and Undertaker faces the Rock in our main event! Jim Ross announces we will hope to get an update on Mankind after he was buried alive by Undertaker, and King reminds us Mr. McMahon has invited Stone Cold to the arena!
Ken Shamrock def. Rob Van Dam; Ken Shamrock was irate tonight after what Van Dam did last week. Shamrock got RVD’s foot in the middle of heel kick, threw him to the mat, and locked in the Ankle Lock causing the tap.
The crowd pops as Shamrock roars in victory. Van Dam rolls out of the ring in pain as Vader’s music hits! The crowd boos as ‘the Mastodon’ makes his way out to the stage with Shane McMahon. Shamrock turns his attention to him and tells him to get in the ring. Vader hesitates, slowly walking down the ramp. Suddenly, Van Dam turns Ken around in the ring and hits a Spinning Heel Kick! The crowd boos as he falls to the ground, Vader finally entering the ring. Vader grabs a hold of Shamrock and delivers a huge powerbomb. With him aligned in the corner, he goes up to the middle rope and connects with the Vader Bomb! The crowd boos as the Corporation stands tall, leaving Shamrock on his back for the second week in a row.
Break
Mr. McMahon and the goons are shown walking backstage. Patterson asks him what he was thinking in inviting Stone Cold Steve Austin to the arena tonight. Vince smirks and assures the both of them he always has a plan, and he’s got something for Stone Cold tonight.
A replay is shown from last week of D-Lo Brown beating Owen Hart. Jim Ross reminds us D-Lo challenges Owen Hart for the European Championship this Sunday.
Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown def. Owen Hart and the Godfather(w/Hos); Hart found a formidable ally in Godfather tonight to take on the cocky duo of D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry. However, Owen Hart was defeated once again as D-Lo got the blind tag and rolled him up with the tights for a quick three.
The crowd booed as D-Lo slipped to the outside to join ‘the World’s Strongest Man.’ The two celebrated their victory as Owen was clearly upset in the ring. Godfather checked on him as D-Lo continued mocking them from the ramp, but who will get the last laugh on Sunday?
Michael Cole is backstage with the Jackyl and Al Snow, who is carrying Head. Cole asks Jackyl about Al Snow joining Hell’s Henchmen last week, and what his motive was. Jackyl says he has a thirst to take over the World Wrestling Federation, and Al Snow is just the man he needs for his quest. Jackyl says Steve Blackman was too foolish to realize Snow’s potential, but not him. Jackyl says Al Snow joining his ranks is only a good thing, because up next he will take the Hardcore Championship and Faarooq and Bradshaw will take the WWF Tag Team titles this Sunday! He smirks before warning Cole Snow joining them is the only the beginning. Snow spent the entire time grazing Head’s hair.
Break
An advertisement for WWF Armageddon: In Your House is shown, hyping up the Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship between Undertaker and Mankind.
A replay is shown, taking us back to last week. It goes over Al Snow turning on Steve Blackman by hitting him with Head and joining Hell’s Henchmen.
Title Match; Al Snow (w/Head and Jackyl) def. Hardcore Champion Andrew Martin; Al Snow stole the win here as Faarooq and Bradshaw came out and put Andrew Martin through a table with a Double Powerbomb!
Al Snow was handed the title by Jackyl as Hell’s Henchmen raised his hands. Al put the title around his waist before clutching onto Head. Jackyl then ordered Faarooq and Bradshaw to attack Martin again. They picked him up from the head, but suddenly Steve Blackman ran out with a Kendo Stick to a pop! He took out Faarooq from the back of the head, sending him out of the ring. It took him three shots to get Bradshaw down, but he took him out as well. Steve then turned around to see Al standing there, almost emotionless, starring at him. Steve asks ‘why’ to no answer. Jackyl laughs at Blackman before leaving the ring with Al.
Up next, the Dudley Boyz defends the WWF Tag Team Championships against Kane and the Big Show!
Break
The theme song of the WWF Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz, hits to a huge pop. D-Von has a microphone and says it appears Hell’s Henchmen have forgotten the single most important commandment. Thou shall not mess with the Dudleyz! The crowd pops as D-Von says this Sunday him and his brother Bubba are going to teach those boys a lesson right in the middle of that ring! Bubba takes the microphone and asks if Hell’s Henchmen know who they are. Bubba ‘reminds’ them that they are the D-D-D-D-D-D (D-Von slaps him in the back of the head) Dudley Boyz! Bubba also says they are not scared of Kane and the Big Show, and they will show Hell’s Henchmen what is coming their way on Sunday!
WWF Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz© versus Kane and the Big Show(w/Shane McMahon) ends in a No Contest; Despite the massive size of Kane and Big Show, the Dudley Boyz weren’t to be taken lightly be any means. The champs actually had Kane set up for the Dudley Death Drop, but Hell’s Henchmen ran out and attacked them!
Faarooq and Bradshaw had the early advantage, but the tag champs weren’t to back down from them either. They quickly found their stride and knocked them out of the ring with a flurry of punches! The crowd cheered, with no one aware that Kane and Big Show were standing behind them. The champs finally turned around and they were met with the giants wrapping their hands around their throats! The crowd booed, but that went away as the glass shattered! The crowd went nuts as Jim Ross was ecstatic saying Vince promised he’d be here! The Corporation was in shock and they dropped the champs, yet after a few moments Austin still wasn’t coming out. His music slowly died as Shane laughed on the outside. Big Show smirked as the three men left, the crowd booing with a thunder.
Jim Ross hypes up that up next Vince McMahon will be out here, and he hopes he has some answers!
Break
A replay is shown from what transpired just moments ago with Stone Cold’s music playing and Austin himself not showing.
Vince McMahon walks out to the stage to an absolute flurry of boos from the New Haven crowd. Surprisingly, Vince is all alone as he struts down the ramp with a microphone. He gets into the ring as the crowd chants ‘bunghole.’ Jerry Lawler remarks how rude the crowd is. Vince raises the microphone and begins to speak. He says he promised to deliver Stone Cold Steve Austin to the ring tonight on RAW. He says he knows that a lot of you people are disappointed by the fact that Stone Cold isn’t here tonight. Vince tries to assure everyone that it was beyond his control. Vince says he actually wanted Stone Cold to show his face here tonight just six days before his match with Kane, but he refused. The crowd boos as Vince says he knows exactly why he didn’t show up tonight, and that is because he’s scared! It’s because Austin fears Vince! The crowd boos as Vince smirks to himself in the ring, but that is quickly wiped away as the glass shatters! Vince is in shock as the crowd goes wild again, JR question if it really is him this time. Just then a figure pops out from behind the curtain, and it looks like Stone Cold. Of course, it’s not, it’s just Pat Patterson dressed as him! The crowd is furious with jeers towards the two men as Patterson gets into the ring. Vince gets on the microphone again and remarks that Austin’s gained a few pounds since being unemployed. JR is disgusted as Patterson flips off Vince and calls for a beer. He drops it, of course. Pat continues to mock Austin by opening the beer and pouring it all over his shirt and yelling ‘HELL YEAH!’ Pat finally takes a mic, but before he can say anything, the glass shatters for a third time, and now Austin is really here! The crowd freaks out as Stone Cold comes out swinging! Vince gets out of the ring as Austin flattens Patterson with a huge right. As he gets back up, Stone Cold flips him off and plants him with the Stunner! Suddenly, Vince calls to the back as Austin looks up, confused. That is when Shane McMahon, Jeff Jarrett, Kane, the Big Show, Vader and Rob Van Dam make their way out. Ross calls it a ‘damn set up’ as Vince smiles like the evil genius he is.
RVD is the first to try his luck, but is knocked off the apron. Shane tries himself and gets into the ring before being tossed overhead and onto Vader and Jarrett. Vince looks increasingly worried as Kane and Big Show step into the ring. Stone Cold fights like a cornered animal, hitting both of the giants with shots. He gets Kane reeling, but Big Show grabs him by the throat! Kane composes himself and grabs Austin by the throat too, the giants hitting him with a double Chokeslam. Vince looks pleased once more on the outside as the rest of the Corporation gets up on the outside. The Corporation leaves the ringside area and head to the back as Stone Cold rolls out of the ring, heading after them!
Break
As we returned to RAW is WAR, Stone Cold was shown roaming through the halls, irate, looking for the Corporation. Suddenly, a big barrage of security guards and Shane McMahon show up. Austin asks what the hell he wants, and Shane tells him to calm down. Shane tells Austin although he has a match this Sunday, he is not an employee of the World Wrestling Federation and has no right being back here. Therefore, he can throw him out of the arena, and he will! The crowd boos, but Austin wastes no time in going through security and taking Shane down! He starts beating the living hell out of Shane before security try to get him off. Austin starts to take them out one by one before going back to Shane. More security guards and some WWF superstars come over and finally restrain Austin. They majority carry him out as some stay to check on Shane.
A replay is shown of Val Venis beating Triple H in a tag team match last week.
Val Venis, Edge, Gangrel, and Christian def. D-Generation X(w/Chyna) VIA DQ; This match came about after D-Generation X assaulted Gangrel, Christian, and Edge after their loss to Venis last week. Before and during the match Val constantly made gestures towards Chyna. When Val was the legal man and he had Gunn down, he went to the outside to ‘woo’ Chyna. She had none of this, and took him down with a clothesline!
Val got up, holding his jaw as Chyna threatened to punch him. Hunter dropped to the outside and started attacking Venis, suddenly Commissioner Slaughter coming out to the stage. He orders Hunter and Val to stop fighting, but they ignore him. Finally Edge pulls Venis away and the Outlaws pull Hunter away. Slaughter says he has a proposal to keep everyone happy; because at Armageddon we will have a ‘Fatal Four Way’ for the Intercontinental Championship. It will be Triple H defending against Sean Waltman, Edge, and Val Venis! The crowd pops as Hunter is clearly angered. Venis smirks and winks at Chyna before walking off, D-Generation X leaving disappointed once again!
Break
Michael Cole is backstage, ready to hype Armageddon: In Your House. Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Kane; The Rock versus Jeff Jarrett; Triple H’s Intercontinental Championship is up for grabs in a Fatal Four Way with Sean Waltman, Edge, and Val Venis; Vader versus Ken Shamrock in a No Holds Barred Match; WWF Tag Team Champions the Dudley Boyz taking on Hell’s Henchmen; Al Snow defending the Hardcore Championship against Steve Blackman; European Champion Owen Hart defending against D-Lo Brown; The vacant Woman’s title up for grabs as Sable, Luna, and Jacqueline collide. And in the main event, the Undertaker defends the WWF title against Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match.
Sable and Sunny def. Jacqueline and Luna Vachon; Sable gained some huge momentum going into this Sunday by taking out Luna with a Sable Bomb.
Sable and Sunny celebrated their victory by playing to the crowd and showing off their bodies. The King was ecstatic as we went backstage.
We saw Kevin Kelly standing with a microphone as he welcomed his guest, the Rock! The crowd went nuts as Rock came onto the screen, the crowd chanting ‘Rocky.’ Kevin went to ask him a question, but he held his hand up. He told him to shut up for a second, because the millions and millions of the Rock’s fans are chanting his name! The crowd continued to chant for a few moments before dying down, Kevin finally asking his question. Kevin asked him about his match with the Undertaker up next, and his match with Jeff Jarrett this Sunday. Rock says Jeff Jarrett needs to know his role and shut his mouth, because the Rock is going to tell him what pisses the Rock off! He says the Rock gets pissed off by his roody poo candy ass walking around here, slamming his guitar over the head of the Great One! Rock looks right at Kevin and says the Rock is going to calm himself. He says the Rock is going to go on a trip with Jeff Jarrett. They’re going to take a trip this Sunday down Know Your Role Boulevard, take the right to Jabroni Drive, and check his bald ass right into the Smackdown hotel! As for his match with Undertaker, the Rock is going to enter a real hell tonight, but the Rock wants to make one thing clear. He will never, and the Rock means never, be intimidated by the Undertaker! If ya’ smelllllllllllllllllllll what the Rock is cookin’.
Break
Non-title; The Rock def. WWF Champion Undertaker; The referee was knocked out during this match after a huge shot from ‘Taker. The champ then took Rock out with a chokeslam and went out of the ring. He looked under, finally pulling out a shovel! Undertaker climbed in the ring and went to hit Rock with hit, but the theme of Mankind hit and he came out from the back, rolling down the ramp on a stretcher! ‘Taker’s attention was taken away, allowing Rock to roll him up and get the three as the ref woke up.
The crowd went nuts as Rock rolled out of the ring, celebrating his second victory over the champion. Undertaker was fuming, but had no time to react as Mankind was in the ring! Covered in dirt from being buried alive last week, Mick fires shot after shot to the champ. As Rock watches from the ramp, a Cell starts to lower from the rafters. Everyone is confused as ‘Taker and Foley keep fighting, not even aware of what is going on. As the Cell finally touches the floor, Mankind locks in the Mandible Claw. Undertaker starts to fade, but he shoves Mick off and he whiplashes in the corner! The crowd boos as ‘Taker turns around and picks up the shovel. Rock tries to help his friend, but he can’t get in. Mick finally gets back up and gets cracked in the head by the shovel! The crowd continues to boo as Undertaker grabs Foley and puts him onto his shoulders. He looks around for a moment before dropping him into position and hitting the Tombstone Piledriver! Mankind is laid out as Undertaker stands tall over his body in the Cell, is this the sight we will see on Sunday at Armageddon?

WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 22nd November 1998...Ya know, every time you re-enact this diary, I'm tempted to return my 1998, it's so fun what rivals can do to one another. I am liking your continuous emphasis on the light heavyweight division though. Rey Mysterio Jr and TAKA Michinoku with a win against Too Much was a nice opening contest and set the tone for the show ahead. I am hoping Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher disband; if anything, more teams is a good thing. It's why I've always gone against putting the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship on Christopher or Taylor. Val Venis' promo was nice, interesting with Sean Waltman interrupting. Venis with the win was the right decision though. I'd have probably had this open the show, really. Just seems like an odd position on a one-hour show for this match to midcard. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry beating the Headbangers was acceptable, not a lot to go off of here. I hope one day these guys become WWF Tag Team Champions. The Rock rivalling with Jeff Jarrett? Interesting. I did like Kane's involvement though, and Vince McMahon having to come down was a nice occasion. A decent main event, but in my mind not so much of a ratings drawer, the way Edge has been booked recently. It just seemed sort of weak in comparison to what had just occurred. Overall, a decent show with a segment of main event storyline progression, but other than that, not a lot of note.
WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 23rd November 1998...The Undertaker kicking off the show was a good one, and I liked his references to recent goings on with Mankind, Vince McMahon and Kane. It's strange that Stone Cold Steve Austin has disappeared, I wonder how long for. I could see this being the season that Mankind wins the big one, the WWF Championship. Edge beating Dustin Runnels was what it was, with the help of the Brood. Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio Jr gets a win over Brian Christopher in what should have been a good match. I imagine we'll see a triple threat match with Scott Taylor over the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon: In Your House. I'm all for D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry getting themselves the WWF Tag Team Championships any way possible. Owen Hart beating Rob Van Dam was fine, another solid match for sure. I did love Mark and D-Lo attacking Owen, too. A way to get themselves recognised. The Big Show and Jeff Jarrett beating The Rock and Mankind was fine, a solid first-hour main event it seemed. Although I do find it odd how this didn't main event. Hmm, wonder what you are planning. Chaotic aftermath with Mankind and the Corporation. I liked it. Steve Blackman and Al Snow having their comedy segments in this time period is an interesting twist. Gives them both something to do, though. I am liking where Val Venis and D-Generation X's angle is going, it shows potential for Venis' character in the near future. Good WWF Intercontinental Championship defense made by Triple H against Val, with thanks from Sean Waltman. The Snow and Blackman segments are pretty priceless, very Attitude of you to keep it going on throughout the night, too. Hell's Henchmen reign supreme again, a win over the Headbangers. I am interested in the Dudley Boyz facing Bradshaw and Faarooq in this time period. The conclusion of Snow and Blackman's segments was amusing. Jacqueline beating Sunny was a fine decision as Jackie can actually work. Either way, it's predictable that Jacqueline and Sable will reach the finals for the WWF Womens Championship. The Rock and Jeff Jarrett continuing to brawl was great, nice Attitude touch to have it in the parking lot, too. And lastly, a solid main event for the WWF Championship with hell breaking loose between the Undertaker and Kane. Stone Cold returning in the midst of the action was great, too. Very enjoyable RAW is WAR, lots of goings on and entertaining, realistic angles.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 29th November 1998...Owen Hart beating Billy Gunn was a solid opening contest to retain the WWF European Championship. I'm surprised you haven't tried to turn D-Generation X face yet. Their popularity was extremely through the glass ceiling at this point. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry getting involved was nice. TAKA Michinoku beating Scott Taylor in a finish that mirrored RAW is WAR with Rey Mysterio Jr and Brian Christopher was genius booking and further puts over the dissension in Too Much. Vince McMahon and the Corporation's promo was nice and interesting. I'm not so sure about Al Snow and Steve Blackman facing Jeff Jarrett and Big Show tonight, despite having to face the menacing Hell's Henchmen tomorrow on RAW is WAR. It just doesn't make so much sense to me. Road Dogg beating Andrew Martin was fine, nothing special here though. Mankind debuts Mr Socko for the Rock. Fantastic. And lastly, compared to last week's main event, a monster of a main event with Mankind and the Rock facing the dysfunctional Undertaker and Kane. Another brawl to end the show; it's getting a little bit repetitive and WCW-like at this point. You may want to switch it up some. A decent show, although five matches in a 45-minute window must've been a tight squeeze. Especially live.

Not a bad opening contest with Shamrock going over RVD. Vader's attack afterwards sets up the No Holds Barred match at Armageddon pretty nicely. What an odd, yet interesting team of Owen Hart and the Godfather. Shame that they lost, but I was always a mark for D-Lo. Wouldn't mind seeing him take the European Championship, but I imagine Owen will be retaining. Hell's Henchmen's involvement in the Hardcore Title match was fine, not a bad way to have Snow retain over Martin. Blackman making the save, liked it. A huge WWF Tag Team Title match here, not surprised by the No Contest finish. Hell's Henchmen again? I suppose it's fine. I did enjoy the Austin tease afterwards. Haha, Patterson impersonating Austin is hilarious. Bah Gawd, Stone Cold! Corporation getting the upperhand makes me believe Austin will be regaining his job at Armageddon, but I would hope otherwise. I'd like to see this storyline play out a bit longer. Looks like Venis wants a night in Chyna. The Fatal Four Way sounds great, but I expect Hunter to walk out still as the WWF Intercontinental Champion. Puppies, okay. I'm not expecting Sable to become Women's Champion, so it'll be interesting to see if it's Jacqueline or Luna. A huge victory for the Rock here, should definitely put him in contention for the World Wrestling Federation title. A dirt-covered Mankind attacking 'Taker sounds awesome. Looking forward to their Hell in a Cell match on Sunday, and if you include the spot. Can't wait to read Armageddon.

I'm not overly familiar with this since I wasn't around during it's peak so bare with me in this review of the latest show.
Overall I think you've done a nice jobe with this, love the time period and love the roster you have assembled. The Armaggedon card looks absolutely fantastic and I'm looking forward to reading it. Loved the Stone Cold segments throughout the night, they were well written especially the one with Patterson as Austin and then Austin coming out, being attacked by the corporation and then laying out Shane was a well written series of segments. Rock/Jarrett is also an awesome feud idea and I look forward to their match. The final segment with Mankind and Taker was well written too, probably the highlight for me. On the negative side though I'm a bit torn on Van Dam in this, he's someone who could potentially fit in in this time period well but I don't think he works with The Corporation and it seems by browsing over a bit he is being wasted in a role that could be filled by a number of people.
Anyway as I said a very good edition of Raw, you've got a good diary here and I'm pumped for Armaggedon.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 30th November 1998...Big way to kick things off with Mankind and Billy Gunn in action, but wow, the Undertaker was there to get involved. I liked 'Taker basically shoving Gunn aside and going after Mankind. Abducting Mankind? We have our ongoing angle for the night. Hahah, reminds me of when 'Taker abducted Stone Cold Steve Austin and tried to have him embalmed. D-Lo Brown beating Owen Hart was a good match, the right call for D-Lo to get the big upset over Owen though. A new Corporation member? I'm interested. Too Much in the ring was a nice pre-match prelude, followed up by Rey Mysterio Jr beating Brian Christopher by count-out. Strange finish following the dissension of Too Much in this WWF Light Heavyweight Championship situation. I see a triple threat match taking centre-stage at Armageddon: In Your House. Val Venis and Edge beating D-Generation X? Huge upset, what does this mean? Edge and Venis is an odd pairing at this point, I wonder why this occurred, unless I missed something. Odd feud with DX and the Brood developing it seems. I'm sort of confused, it didn't seem to do anything for Edge; he gets a big win against DX with Venis, then Venis leaves; Edge is made out to look dumb and walks into a two-way attack from both Gangrel and Christian AND Triple H and Sean Waltman. Huh. The Undertaker and Mankind are at the graveyard? I'm liking this. I did this scenario (excluding Mankind) around the same time in my 1998 (spoilerz). Be interesting how yours differs from mine. The Corporation looks big. Vader and Ken Shamrock in a Falls Count Anywhere match sounds pretty fun, and I love the rub Jeff Jarrett is getting, going into this match with the Rock. The Rock then interrupting the Corporation was great. A no-disqualification main event match? Basically asking for a mass riot brawl with the Corporation and the WWF locker room. Wow, Rob Van Dam joined the Corporation. Interesting. Shamrock is being made to look like a headliner here, I'm digging it. I liked RVD getting himself disqualified just because, but it doesn't fit the Corporation's image in my mind. Either way, they left Shamrock with an injury angle, and that'll surely play a role growing nearer to Armageddon. Hell's Henchmen beating Al Snow and Steve Blackman was fine and expected, but what we didn't expect was Snow randomly attacking his partner Steve. Short lived tag team. Mankind fighting back as the Undertaker was ready to plant Mankind in the open grave was cool, but man I'd hate to be Ivory and Luna Vachon; having to fill the hole that the cliffhanger graveyard angle had left off. Luna going over was the better call, more experience on her behalf. Jacqueline and Luna hate Sable: once again our diaries with similarities. And finally, a handicap no-disqualification match? Oh Vince McMahon, causing mischief as always for the Rock. Stone Cold Steve Austin getting involved was inevitable, clearing house of the Corporation. Austin with the happy ending was a good conclusion. Hah, wow. The Undertaker burying Mankind alive AGAIN. Interesting close to the show, wonder how you'll explain Mankind being ALIVE. Overall, a good show that was very realistic of a 1998 episode of RAW.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 6th December 1998...Not a believer of doing Capitol Carnage I see. Nevermind. The Godfather beating Mark Henry was fine in a fair opener purely for the fan reaction. Up next, Gangrel beating Andrew Martin was cool but didn't do too much for me really, other than advance the feud with Edge and the Brood. Shane McMahon making an announcement for Stone Cold Steve Austin going into RAW is WAR tomorrow night was pretty neat. It's a slow episode of HeAT tonight. Steven Regal beating Scorpio was cool, I'm hoping this continues for Regal. Val Venis' promo was...bizarre. He wants Chyna out of this feud with Triple H? Not a title shot? No big opportunities? Huh, weird. Lastly, weak main event win for an episode of HeAT compared to recent weeks. The Dudley Boyz beating Southern Supremacy was expected. Hell Henchmen's attack was pretty neat, but not really main event worthy on this slow moving episode of HeAT. A filler show really, not a lot went on.

I hate doing quick results for anything, but I had to rewrite the entire PPV so I didn't want to waste more time by having to rewrite HeAT too.
- The New Age Outlaws def. The Headbangers Note: Once again the charismatic New Age Outlaws got a pop during their self ring introduction.
- Scott Taylor def. Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku Note: Winner would become number one contender for the Light Heavyweight Championship
- Mankind cut a promo about tonight's title match and what happened after he was buried alive. He stated nothing would stop him from becoming WWF Champion, and he would do anything to become WWF Champion.
- The Godfather def. Mark Henry
WWF Armageddon; In Your House - Vancouver, British Columbia - GM Place - December 13, 1998
The opening video to Armageddon: In Your House features the double main event card of ’Stone Cold’ Steve Austin versus ‘the Big Red Machine’ Kane and the Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship between Mankind and the Undertaker. It starts off with the ending to the Deadly Game as the Big Show choke slams Stone Cold to the mat, costing him his job. The civil war that has been brewing in the WWF is shown as we see multiple clips from Austin’s return to the massive brawl between the WWF locker room and the Corporation. The video ends as we see the Undertaker and Mankind brawling in the cell on RAW is WAR, Undertaker standing tall as “the End” plays in the background.
The pyrotechnics kick off as we are greeted by Jim Ross and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler, welcoming us to the GM Place for Armageddon: In Your House. Jim Ross says he has breaking news as Mr. McMahon has officially made Stone Cold versus Kane tonight a No Disqualifications match! Jerry says he can’t wait for that idiot Stone Cold to be gone forever tonight before they continue hyping the card, specifically the Hell in a Cell bout. As the finish hyping up the show, the theme song of D-Lo Brown hits to boos from the crowd.
European Championship: Owen Hart© vs. D-Lo Brown(w/Mark Henry): The bell rings and D-Lo wastes no time in talking down the champion. Owen doesn’t respond too kindly to the remarks and he takes D-Lo down with a hard right! After weeks of pent up frustration, the champion unloads onto the challenger before he gets rope break. The ref forces him to break the hold, allowing D-Lo to get a cheap eye rake in. In the opening minutes of the contest the up and coming superstars go back and forth with neither man being able to take a real advantage. Just as soon as it seems Owen is building up some real momentum, Mark trips him from the outside behind the ref’s back! The crowd boos as D-Lo wastes no time in following up, stomping on Owen’s back and keeping him grounded. D-Lo takes a firm control over the match up because whenever Owen seems to be getting back in the game, either Mark takes him out from behind or D-Lo uses a vary of underhanded tactics to remain in control. The champ quickly found his stride however, as when Henry climbed to the upon he took him out at the knee and started to unload on the champion again. Brown took a wild shot and missed, allowing Hart to drop him and lock in the Sharpshooter! The crowd pops, but right before D-Lo is seemingly going to tap, he reaches the ropes. Owen breaks the hold at the four count, but when he goes for the hold again D-Lo pushes him off and hit’s a Spinebuster. D-Lo heads to the top for the Lo-Down, but the champ leaps to his feet, climbs to the top, and they both go flying off with a top rope hip toss! The crowd pops and while both men are down, Henry tries to insert himself into the match. The referee quickly ejects him from ringside, but Mark refuses to leave. As the ref goes out to deal with him, a blonde man runs in from the crowd and hit’s a Full Nelson Facebuster! The camera gets a good shot of the man - and it’s Chris Jericho! He flees from the scene when the ref gets back in the ring, D-Lo covering for the win! Winner and NEW European Champion: D-Lo Brown
The crowd is furious as D-Lo is proclaimed the winner. Jericho is long gone as the commentators are confused. Henry grabs the European title and brings it D-Lo in the ring before propping him up on his shoulders. Owen is barely awake on the mat as the cameras pan away.
We are taken back to earlier on tonight on Sunday Night HeAT as the Corporation arrived to the arena. Vince McMahon was talking to the Big Show and Kane about the match with Stone Cold tonight. Vince told Show after Kane defeats him, he wants him to go in the ring and hurt Stone Cold. “I want you to take out Stone Cold. I want you to injure Stone Cold. I want you to retire Stone Cold. But most importantly, I want you to DESTROY Stone Cold!” Vince smirks as we go back live.
The commentators hype our next match being for the Hardcore Championship as Al Snow defends against former tag partner Steve Blackman. We are taken back to RAW is WAR two weeks ago where Al Snow turned his back on Blackman during a tag bout with Hell’s Henchmen, leaving one question in everybody’s mind. Why?
Hardcore Championship: Al Snow©(w/the Jackyl and Head) vs. Steve Blackman: When the contest finally got under away Blackman was a little hesitant to fight Al. The champion however, no brainwashed by the Jackyl, did not hesitate to strike Steve. One of the most popular teams in the WWF today had finally exploded as Al was firing away on Blackman. Steve quickly went into attack mode and started firing shots back at Al, no longer hesitating to strike! It didn’t take long for the weapons to come into play, mainly at the hands of the Jackyl as he was sliding them into the ring for Al to use. Snow was using this to his advantage before Blackman was able to intercept a kendo stick. The crowd popped as he stated to fire shot after shot into Al’s midsection. Once Blackman dropped it they both grabbed a garbage can lid and started hitting each other in their heads with them! Steve started to absorb the shots after awhile and quickly drilled one into Al’s head, sending him flying out of the ring. In a daze he made his way up the aisle, Steve quickly following him. The two started brawling until they made their way to the back! Once Al got the upper hand he stole a mop from a nearby Janitor and broke it right over Steve’s back! The two continued to brawl their way across the backstage area until they eventually made it back into the arena via the crowd. They brawled all the way through the crowd until they reached the barricade where Al went for a clothesline, but Steve threw him overhead right onto the floor! As they eventually made their way into the ring Blackman had Snow down to his knees as he picked up a Kendo Stick. Steve rose it above his head as the Jackyl was smirking on the outside. Blackman looked at him, confused, allowing Al to pop up and hit the Snow Plow for the three! Winner and STILL Hardcore Champion: Al Snow
The crowd booed as Snow was handed the title. He quickly left the ring with Head as Jackyl followed him. Steve was staggering in the ring, extremely confused about what just happened. Why was the Jackyl smirking at him?
Backstage Michael Cole is standing by with Corporation members Jeff Jarrett and Shane McMahon. Shane, still feeling the effects from Austin’s attack, is wearing a neck brace. Cole asks Jeff about his match with the Rock up next and Jeff tells Cole that the Rock has done one thing no man should ever do. He pissed him off! Jeff says the Rock needs to learn his role in the WWF, and he’s about to teach him a lesson to why you never mess with “Double J” and the Corporation! Shane adds onto the interview, saying the three biggest trouble makers in the WWF go down tonight in Rock, Mankind, and Stone Cold. The pair smirk before walking off.
Back live Jim Ross and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler hype up that we’re just getting started here at Armageddon, and up next the Rock and Jeff Jarrett collide!
The Rock vs. Jeff Jarrett(w/Shane McMahon): The Rock got a nice pop here in Vancouver and wasted no time with the punches as the bell rung. Rock was throwing rights and lefts out Jarrett before he started throwing punches of his own, a brawl breaking out already! Jeff started to take control, but the agility of the Rock got up with him as he dodged a right and took him down with a huge clothesline. Jarrett wasn’t out yet as he quickly went after the Rock’s leg, taking him down. He worked on the leg for as long as he could before ‘the Great One’ pushed him off and took him down with a huge DDT! Rock, fueled by anger after the months and months of attacks from ‘Double J’, was relentless in his attack as he was throwing Jarrett around the ring and hitting him with everything he had; including using the ropes to his advantage by plopping Jeff on the top rope and shaking it up and down! The Corporation member also fought back with more attacks to the leg, however, even going as far to wrap it around the ring post before slamming it into the steel over and over! As the ref was dealing with Jarrett Shane took the opportunity to slam Rock’s leg into the apron himself! Rock was quickly back in the game however, even taking down Jarrett with a Spinebuster. The crowd popped as ’the People’s Champ’ set up for the People’s Elbow, only for Shane to hop on the apron! Rock took him down with a massive right, but this allowed Jarrett to swoop in, take out the leg, and lock in the Figure Four! Rock somehow mustered the strength to get over to the ropes, causing Jarrett to break the hold. As the end drew near, Rock accidentally took out the ref by missing a dropkick on Jarrett. Jeff then came in and took him out with a low blow, allowing Shane to come in the ring with a guitar! Shane held the Rock up as Jarrett took the guitar and swung, only for Rock to duck and Jeff to take out the McMahon! The crowd popped as Rock nailed the Rock Bottom and as the ref got up, he hit the People’s Elbow for the three! Winner: The Rock
The crowd popped as the Rock climbed each of the four turnbuckles in celebration. Jarrett and McMahon were out cold as WWF: Armageddon faded to black.
The Royal Rumble is live on pay per view January 24th. 30 superstars compete in the annual Royal Rumble match for a chance to main event WrestleMania 15 against the World Wrestling Federation Champion!
Backstage we see a black pick up truck pull up in the parking lot and none other that Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out. The crowd pops as Kevin Kelly approaches Austin, trying to get a word about his match with Kane tonight. Stone Cold ignores him and continues walking. Kevin continues trying to get answer out of him, but he walks right by him and heads to the arena, not even glancing at Kevin. Stone Cold leaves the scene and enters the building, like Kevin Kelly in the dust.
Back live Jim Ross and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler are talking about how determined Stone Cold looks for his match with Kane tonight. They then turn their focus to our next match, the fatal four way match for the Intercontinental Championship. We see a reply of RAW is WAR this past Monday with Commissioner Slaughter making the match.
Intercontinental Championship: Triple H © vs. Sean Waltman vs. Edge vs. Val Venis: At the sound of the bell Val turned his attention to Chyna and spun his pelvis at her, causing Triple H to go right after him. Waltman and Edge went after each other as it was clear this was going to act like a tag match, for now at least. Waltman quickly disposed of Edge by ramming his shoulder straight into the steel ring post. This allowed the two D-Generation X members to double team on Val Venis, taking turns striking him and even going as far to hitting moves like a double suplex. Edge was quickly in for the rescue, however, taking both men down a double clothesline from the middle rope. He threw Waltman threw the middle rope and started to hammer on ‘the Game.’ Val was quickly back up himself and the two rookies gave Triple H a piece of his own medicine with some double teaming. As they traded shots, Val taunted Hunter before kicking him in the gut and tossing him out of the ring. This left Val and Edge in the ring, who put on a fast paced showdown for the crowd over the next minute before the DX members tripped them from the outside and pulled them out. Waltman beat down on Edge by the entrance ramp as Triple H and Venis threw hands by the announcers table. The ‘Big Valbowski’ started to gain some real momentum as he battered the champion with hard shots, only for Chyna to run over and push him into the ring post! The crowd booed D-Generation X were once again taking control over the entire match up. At the end of the match up Edge was setting up for the Spear on Waltman, but suddenly the New Age Outlaws ran out! The ref tried to escort them from ringside just as Christian and Gangrel ran out and took them out from behind! The two teams brawled as Edge connected with the Spear in the ring! Hunter came out of nowhere, throwing him out of the ring onto the two teams! The crowd popped as Val was back in the ring, taking Hunter down with a dropkick! He climbed to the top, going for the Money Shot, but Chyna hopped on the apron and pushed him to the floor! Waltman and Triple H got up to their feet, leaving them the only ones up. They glanced at each other before Waltman laid down, Hunter covering for the three! Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Triple H
The boos in a massive chorus as Triple H is handed the title. All the D-Generation X members stand tall in the ring, celebrating the win. Val gets up, looking more than frustrated about the finish!
We are taken to the locker room of the Corporation, all of the members standing by except for Shane McMahon. Vince says they have already had one setback tonight, but they are strong! They will bounce back and they will sweep the floor with their enemies tonight. Vince looks over towards Kane and Vader, telling them that he does not want another lost on their hands tonight. Vader nods in agreement when the WWF Champion, the Undertaker steps into the room. Everyone looks surprised, minus Kane of course. Undertaker makes his message very clear, telling Vince if he sees any of his men anywhere near the cell tonight, there will be more than hell to pay. ‘Taker leaves the room, Vince still not being able to make allies with the WWF Champion!
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are live in the arena, informing us that our next match is a No Holds Barred contest between “the World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock and “the Mastodon” Vader! JR reminds us how this feud has been brewing for months, and it all comes to ahead tonight!
No Holds Barred: Ken Shamrock vs. Vader: This was an all out brawl. These two men have been going at it for months now and they were pulling no punches. As the match begun they two began to trade strikes with Shamrock taking the early lead until Vader quickly fought back. Vader started to dominate Shamrock, throwing him around the ring like it was nothing! The former Intercontinental Champion wasn’t finished yet however, quickly fighting back with a few stiff punches and kicks. Shamrock then took the big man over the top rope with a clothesline, the action spilling to the outside! Ken went right on the offense, slamming his head into the barricade. Vader quickly fought back with a kick to the midsection and ramming his rival right into the steel steps! Vader picked him up and carried him over to the Spanish announcer’s table, slamming him down with a huge body slam! Shamrock rolled off as Vader began to taunt the crowd. Shamrock took the chance to then grab a chair from ringside and blast Vader in the back with it! The crowd popped as the two were quickly back into the ring as Ken continued the assault with the chair, now slamming it right into his skull! Vader fell to the mat and he was busted open! Shamrock covered, but only for a two count. Shamrock went for the Ankle Lock, but ‘the Mastodon’ kicked him off. Vader got up and removed a turnbuckle cover, Ken being unaware of this as he charged, only for Vader to move and cause him to go face first into the steel! Now Shamrock was busted open, both of these men are wearing the crimson mask! As the match came to a close Shamrock had rammed a chair into Vader’s ankle multiple times and was now applying the Ankle Lock. Vader somehow found another way out, and quickly took Shamrock down with a Powerbomb. He went to the outside and pulled out a table, throwing it into the ring. As he set it up, he placed his rival onto and was calling for the Vader Bomb. Shamrock quickly got up as he climbed to the second turnbuckle. He creamed him in the back with a chair and hit the Belly to Belly suplex through the table, pinning for the win! Winner: Ken Shamrock
The crowd popped as both men were still down in the wreckage of the table. Shamrock barely picked himself up as he roared in victory. He celebrated his win on the top turnbuckle, expanding his arms while the referee checked on Vader.
Backstage Michael Cole is standing by with the Jackyl, Faarooq, and Bradshaw. Cole tells Jackyl it’s already been a good night for Hell’s Henchmen and he asks him about the upcoming tag team title match with the Dudley Boyz. Jackyl agreed with Cole, saying it has been a successful night, but things are only going to get bigger and better! He says they already have possession of the Hardcore Championship, but up next they are going to take the tag team championships from those foolish Dudley Boyz! Jackyl says the Dudleyz aren’t quite aware of their power just yet, but after tonight they will never forget! Jackyl smirks and the group walks off.
The commentary team announce the WWF Tag Team Championship match between the Dudley Boyz and Hell’s Henchmen is up next as we see replay of the brawl this past Monday on RAW is WAR.
WWF Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz© vs. Hell’s Henchmen(w/the Jackyl): Bubba Ray and Bradshaw started off the match with Bradshaw dishing out some hard shots. The two big guys went back and forth for the opening minute before Bubba quickly made a tag into his brother. D-Von was able to take Bradshaw down with a huge clothesline, but missed a second one and ended up eating a big boot. For the first few minutes the two teams were fighting a seesaw battle until Faarooq got a blind tag and took D-Von down from behind. Hell’s Henchmen spent the next two minutes completely dissecting one half of the tag champs with frequent tags to each other. Bradshaw was looking to finish things early as he went for the Clothesline from Hell, but D-Von ducked! He took Bradshaw down with a drop kick and tagged in Bubba. Bubba exploded onto Bradshaw with huge shots, but when he went for a Powerbomb, Bradshaw flipped him over head. Hell’s Henchmen were back in the drivers seat as they started to double team Bubba Ray. As Faarooq was holding him up so Bradshaw can deliver punches, Ray found his second wind and fought off both of the men. He got D-Von back in the match and they unleashed a fury storm onto the challengers. The ref had lost control of the match as they took Bradshaw out of the ring and quickly hit the Dudley Death Drop onto Faarooq! D-Von covered, but the Jackyl pulled the ref out of the ring at a count of two! The crowd booed as the Dudleyz were irate. Bubba jumped out of the ring and chased the Jackyl around ringside, only to end up eating the Clothesline from Hell from Bradshaw! Bradshaw took Bubba and slammed him into the ring post, taking him out. D-Von was still alive, but the numbers game quickly caught up to him and he was taken out by a Double Powerbomb. Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Hell’s Henchmen
Boos filled the arena as the referee handed Faarooq and Bradshaw their titles. The Jackyl was ecstatic and hopped in the ring as Al Snow quickly joined them. The four men raised each other’s arms as Faarooq, Bradshaw, and Al all raises their titles in the air.
Jim Ross and Jerry “the King” Lawler tell us that it’s now time for our first of two main events. Stone Cold’s career is on the line as he goes one on one with Kane in a No Disqualification match!
No Disqualifications: Kane(w/Mr. McMahon) vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin: To no surprise at all, Mr. McMahon himself was out there with Kane tonight. It didn’t effect Austin’s performance in the least however, ‘the Rattlesnake’ looked as fired up as ever. Austin threw everything he had at Kane in the early goings, but he just wouldn’t budge. He took Austin down with a huge uppercut and the assault began. Vince frequently ordered commands to Kane including “Choke him out, damn it! Choke his lights out!” Kane followed, and the referee could do nothing about it. Kane continued to over power Stone Cold, but Austin quickly fought back with shots to the mid section. Kane pushes him back and went charging, only for Austin to trip him and send him flying into the ring post. Stone Cold used this to his advantage as he took Kane’s right arm and smashes it into the ring post multiple times, trying to cut off his ability to hit a choke slam. Austin went to the outside and grabbed a chair, and when Vince tried to stop him, he just shoved him to the floor! The crowd popped as Austin slid back into the ring and rammed the chair into Kane’s arm multiple times. As Kane was getting up Austin swung the chair and hit him in the head, but it did nothing! He went for it again, but Kane swatted it out of the air! As the action continued things went to the outside as Kane dropped Austin head first into the steel steps! Vince smirked as his arch enemy was in a daze whilst Kane wrapped his hand around his throat! He dragged Austin over the announcers table, but Stone Cold kicked him in the gut and rammed him into the ring post. He quickly followed up and whipped Kane right into the steel steps, causing a massive collision. Austin walked over to Kane and kicked him in the gut. He went for the Stunner, but Kane pushed him off right into a chair shot from Vince! The crowd booed as Stone Cold was bleeding; Kane throwing him back into the ring and quickly hitting the Chokeslam! He covered and Austin kicked out at two! Vince was in shock and Kane was furious. He grabbed the poor referee by the throat, unaware that Stone Cold had risen. He turned Kane around and hit the Stunner! Before Austin could cover, the Big Show ran out to the ring. Stone Cold was like a caged animal as he hit shot after shot, eventually taking him out with a chair shot! The crowd popped, but now Kane was back up and he delivered another Chokeslam to Austin, getting the three! Winner: Kane (Steve Austin is still fired)
The crowd jeered the Corporation louder than anyone before hand as the bell rang. Vince raised his arms in excitement as Kane stood tall over Austin’s body in the ring. As the Big Show got up Vince went into the ring and ordered the two giants to do something. The both of them grabbed Stone Cold by the throat, picked him up, and hit a huge Double Chokeslam! The crowd continued to boo as Mr. McMahon bent over Austin, mocking him before yelling into his face.
Backstage the cameras are in the Woman’s locker room as Jacqueline and Luna Vachon are warming up for the triple threat match up next. The two begin to fight over who’s walking out champion. Jacqueline says she’s actually been around the past few months bringing it to Sable, but Luna argues that she has actually beaten Sable. The two continue to argue until Jacqueline settles the argument by asking Luna to make one thing sure, and that is to not let Sable walk out with the title. Luna nods and the ladies leave the room.
Jerry Lawler is getting excited back live as the commentary duo hype up our next match being the Woman’s Championship Tourney Finales. Sable, Jacqueline, and Luna Vachon all compete to become the new Woman’s Champion!
Woman’s Championship: Sable vs. Jacqueline vs. Luna Vachon: From the start of the match it was apparent both Jacqueline and Luna were trying to live up to their promise of not letting Sable walk out champion. The two immediately teamed up and went after her. They backed her up into a corner and took turns stomping away at her mid section. Luna pulled her out and sent him back down with a snap suplex. She took a step back and let Jacqueline dish out the pain with stomps and a headlock. The crowd chanted for Sable and tried to get her back into the match. She did just that and took Jacqueline down with a back suplex. Luna charged at her, only to receive a kick to the jaw. She then sent her flying from the ring with a Sablecanrana. The crowd popped, only for Jacqueline to attack her from behind. Sable wasn’t going down this time however, and she fought back. The two rivals went back and forth before Luna tripped Sable from the outside, causing the double teaming to start again. Things quickly dissolved in a matter a moments, because neither woman could decided who should get the pin. As they traded shots for a little bit, Jacqueline went for a roundhouse kick, but it was ducked. Luna then tossed her from the ring and taunted. She he was unaware that Sable was back up, and Sable turned her around and nailed the Sable Bomb for the win! Winner and NEW Woman’s Champion: Sable
The crowd popped as Sable’s face reeked of joy and happiness as he was handed the Woman’s Championship. Sable celebrated on the middle turnbuckle with it and posed for the crowd. Jacqueline was fuming on the outside as Sable simply looked down at her and smirked.
Before our main event we are taken to a quick recap of HeAT earlier tonight as Mankind was speaking in the ring. He talked about how he was quickly rescued from the graveyard and brought to the hospital. He said that wouldn’t stop him from not only achieving his dream, but kicking the Undertaker’s ass! The crowd popped as he said he told everyone and the Undertaker there was nothing he wouldn’t do and nothing that could stop him from becoming WWF Champion.
We are taken to the announcer’s table one more time as Jerry Lawler says Mankind should’ve stayed in the hospital, because he’s going straight back tonight! Jim Ross proceeded to hype up that our main event was next as the Undertaker would defend the World Wrestling Federation Champion in a Hell in a Cell match against Mankind. A video package plays of the Undertaker/Mankind feud and the sadistic nature of the Hell in a Cell as the cell was lowered into place.
Hell in a Cell; WWF Championship; The Undertaker© vs. Mankind: There was a certain feel to this match that couldn’t be summed up by words as it started. Mankind went right after the champion, taking him back with huge shots. ‘Taker had none of it however, throwing him into the corner and taking him down with elbow strikes. Things were calm in the early going of the match, but that was not for long as Mick pulled Undertaker to the outside. He rammed his skull into the steel steps, but when he went to launch him into the cell, ‘Taker countered and launched him into the steel instead! He kept up on the attack, ramming his head into the cell multiple times. Mankind seemed to absorb all of the shots however, kicking Undertaker in the stomach and throwing him right into the steel steps! Foley slid the steps into the ring before reaching under the ring and pull out two chairs. He threw one in the ring and used the other one to crack ‘Taker in the skull. He was dazed, but nowhere near down, as he grabbed Foley by his tie and slammed him into the cell. He than begin choking him out with his very own tie before dumping his body back into the ring. ‘Taker was looking under the ring for something, but took too much time as Foley quickly hit him with a baseball slide, causing him to fall back into the cage. Mankind took something out from under the ring himself and went into the ramming. It was a back and when he opened it up, it was filled with tacks! Undertaker was back in the ring however, and he sent Mankind back first onto the tacks! As the war raged on the two were brawling by the door. Mick took the upper hand and he rammed ‘Taker’s skull into the door multiple times, but soon the champion grabbed him by the throat! He threw him into the door so hard the lock broke and the door flew open! As they went outside, Mankind randomly started to scale the cell! Undertaker asked no questions and he followed him up. The two brawled on top of the cell until ‘Taker knocked him out with a huge big boot. He got off the top and went over the announcers table and cleared it off by grabbing a chair. Foley jumped down as well, kicking ‘Taker in the midsection and applying the Mandible Claw! He applied pressure until the champ was down on the announcers table. Mankind looked around for a second before climbing the cell again! Everyone was confused as Mick made his way to the top. He stood on the edge and looked down at ‘Taker BEFORE LEAPING OFF THE TOP ONLY FOR UNDERTAKER TO MOVE! Everyone was in awe as Mankind just sacrificed himself. ‘Taker stood over his body as the cell came up and EMTs ran out. Shockingly, the champion started taking them all out with punches! He grabbed Mankind’s body and threw him back into the ring, but somehow Mick stood up! Everyone was in shock as he hit a low blow and the Double Arm DDT onto a chair! He covered, but only for a two! ‘Taker was quickly back up and he hit another Chokeslam onto the steps. He went to the outside again and grabbed a shovel from under the ring! As Mick somehow stood up again, he got whacked in the head! ‘Taker wasn’t done yet as he picked him up and delivered a Tombstone, finally covering for the three. Winner and STILL WWF Champion: The Undertaker
You could practically hear everyone’s heart sink as the Undertaker stood tall. Mick Foley had risked his life for the WWF Championship, but he still came up short. The Undertaker had no remorse for the man as he stood over his body with the WWF Championship draping from his shoulder. More EMTs came out to finally assist Mick out of the arena, but he stood up and refused help. ‘Taker was in shock as Mick stood up on his own and fought off the EMTs before standing before the champion. The crowd gave him a standing ovation as the champion was awestruck for what must be the first time in his life. The two rivals shared a heated stare before Mick left the ring as Armageddon: In Your House went off the air. Is this the last we’ve seen of this feud? Or is it a new beginning?

- Al Snow def. Steve Blackman to retain the Hardcore Championship.
- D-Lo Brown def. Owen Hart to win the European Championship
-Mick Foley took what might be the most daring leap in the history of the WWF at Armageddon: In Your House as he jumped off the cell - only to miss. Reports are Mick Foley will be off from the RAW is WAR taping tomorrow night, but nothing on Tuesday's taping.
-A few months ago we reported that WWF was in negotiations with a WCW superstar. It was indeed Chris Jericho was let go from the promotion in late October. Reports are saying Chris Jericho has a 'bright' future in the WWF.
-We can confirm that tomorrow night on RAW is WAR the Rock will be in action against Corporation member Rob Van Dam.[/font]

Just saying, I did play "The End" on another tab while typing this. First off, as a huge D-Lo fan, I'm more than stoked to see him become European Champion in the opening contest. Chris Jericho debuting is just as fantastic, and a feud with Owen sounds swell. Decent Hardcore Championship defense for Al Snow, with some aid from the Jackyl. Sweet, this is one of my more anticipated bouts on this show. Great victory for the Rock, loved the finish with the inadvertent guitar shot to Shane followed by the Rock Bottom. Since the Intercontinental Championship match was announced on such short notice, it was expected for Hunter to retain. Yes! I love Kane getting the victory here as I really want to see Austin's firing play out a bit longer. Expecting him against Big Show sometime in the future, perhaps at 'Mania XV? Wasn't expecting Sable to capture the Women's Championship, but it's a solid call. Interested in seeing what kind of reign she'll have. Lastly, the big one. Hell in a Cell. I really did like the spot you incorporated here. It's just as scary as the real one, and it really puts over the fact that Mankind will do anything and everything for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Undertaker getting the victory was expected and good. A great PPV overall.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 7th December 1998...Good call to have the show open with a match for a change, Ken Shamrock beating Rob Van Dam clean was a strange decision though, but nevermind. I liked Vader just taking out Shamrock after the bell though, sets the toll for Armageddon: In Your House this Sunday. Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown got a big win against Owen Hart and the Godfather, clearly to annoy Owen headed into their WWF European Championship match on Sunday. Al Snow joined forces with Hell's Henchmen? Interesting call, I'm interested in where this leads. Snow did play a decent heel, though less memorable. Snow in a serious role isn't so great, though. Snow beating Andrew Martin was fine, in order to win the WWF Hardcore Championship, nothing special though. I could now see Bradshaw and Faarooq claiming the WWF Tag Team Championships though. Steve Blackman wants retribution on Snow's betrayal...I could see a blowoff match coming up at Armageddon as a filler. The Dudley Boyz with Buh Buh Ray having the stutter gimmick...I'm not sure if they'd get over with that. Good win for D-Von and Buh Buh Ray against Kane and the Big Show though. Interesting mix of styles and the aftermath was busy. Good promo from Vince McMahon; surprised that we didn't hear from the Corporation earlier on in the night but nevermind. Pat Patterson impersonating Stone Cold Steve Austin sounded fun, especially with Austin coming down for payback; great heatseeking device by having the Corporation set Austin up for it. Hah, Austin fighting back was cool. Not sure about the use of Kane and Big Show again here though, not moments after their match/post-match brawl. Security taking Austin down was vintage Attitude. Wow, big eight man tag team match; and I like the reasoning behind it, D-Generation X having attacked the Brood and Val Venis. It adds to fun when Val Venis is trying to woo Chyna; very flamboyent and adds some dimension to his character, having him be vicious when necessary. Sean Waltman, Edge and Val? I see this as a deploy to get the WWF Intercontinental Championship off of Triple H, so I see Waltman taking the belt on Sunday. I don't see dissension in DX happening just yet. Sable and Sunny beating Jacqueline and Luna Vachon, eh. I did that tag team combination too many times in my 1998. The Rock's promo was crowd-pleasing, but what really was crowdpleasing was the action-packe main event win for the Rock against the Undertaker; with assistance, of course, from Mankind. Chaotic close to the show, bringing us up to speed with Armageddon: In Your House just six days away. Decent go-home show.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 13th December 1998...The New Age Outlaws got a pop? Hmm, not good for whomever feuds with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, I see them turning face in time. Obvious win against the Headbangers there. Scott Taylor gaining contention to the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship was diferent; odd to see Rey Mysterio Jr still around too. I imagine he'd have gotten annoyed with the way he was being booked by this point. Mind you, I expected he'd be getting as good a push in WCW anyway. Mankind's promo was brief but straight to the point. The Godfather beating Mark Henry was a fair main event I suppose. Average pre-show style episode.
WWF Armageddon: In Your House: Sunday 13th December 1998...The right choice to open the show with Owen Hart and D-Lo Brown going at it for the WWF European Championship, and I enjoyed D-Lo continuing his brash smash-mouth style gimmick. Chris Jericho? Interesting to bring him in this early. Rushing him into a feud with Owen Hart I see? Odd call, I'd have held off on it. Plus he didn't exactly know how to work the WWF style yet. D-Lo winning that way was interesting, but I hope he proves to be a credible champion in the near future. Al Snow retaining the WWF Hardcore Championship from Steve Blackman was expected, but cleanly without Hell's Henchman certainly. I'm surprised that the Rock fought Jeff Jarrett this early on in the show, but nonetheless. It's also interesting to see Rock still in a face role here. I can't see Rock facing Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XV. It gave Jarrett a good headliner-potential opportunity and got Rock over as it should have. Oh wow, Triple H retained the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Not something I'd have done, but it was certainly unexpected. Great showcase of the upper midcard talent (and Edge). Ken Shamrock beating Vader in the No Holds Barred match was the comeuppance that Shamrock needed after so much of Vader's beatdowns on WWF television. Hell's Henchmen winning the WWF Tag Team Championship from the Dudley Boyz was expected, as Al Snow won the WWF Hardcore Championship "mysteriously" on RAW is WAR this past Monday. The Jackyl's prophecy came true! Kane and Stone Cold Steve Austin in one-half of the main events, was surprised to see Stone Cold unable to regain his job with the company, but the odds were simply too high against Kane and various Corporation members. Sable winning the WWF Womens Championship against Jacqueline and Luna Vachon with the stakes high was odd, but I like it. So many titles have changed hands tonight. And lastly, fantastic main event Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker retaining the WWF Championship against Mankind, with most of the spots from the initial King of the Ring 1998 match intact for historical purposes. Overall, a great show with some questionable decisions made, my only complaint was that three titles changed hands, which is slightly overkill but acceptable. Nonetheless, interested where everything is going from here.

WWF @ Tacoma, WA - Tacoma Dome - December 14, 1998 RAW is WAR opens up with a video package of last night’s Armageddon: In Your House event. At first it shows the finish to the Steve Austin and Kane match with the Big Show interfering, allowing Kane to take the victory and send Austin packing. It then skipped over to the Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker and Mankind using everything they could against each other. After a few shots it goes to Mankind scaling the cell, only to jump off and miss his target. The video ends as Undertaker brings him back into the ring and hits him with a shovel and the Tombstone for the victory.
Following the opening video the pyrotechnics shoot across the arena as the cameras gaze over the arena, showing rabid fans and all of their signs. We go down to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler who hype up a huge fallout edition of Armageddon as we look forward to the annual Royal Rumble! They mention Sable’s Championship Celebration; An interview with Val Venis regarding last night’s Intercontinental Championship match; The Rock versus Rob Van Dam; and Jeff Jarrett versus Ken Shamrock! As JR finishes speaking we see Shane McMahon approach the stage to the crowd’s displeasure.
Shane, still wearing a neck brace after everything he’s been through, asks for everyone’s attention. He says tonight is going to be one of greatest nights in the history of RAW, and he wants to introduce the man who made it all possible. His father; Vince McMahon! The crowd boos as Mr. McMahon and the goons make their way out to the ring with the Corporation. Vince takes the microphone and welcomes everyone to RAW is CORPORATE! More jeers fill the arena as Mr. McMahon talks about how both Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin were taken out last night, so this show will go on without a hitch! Vince says things will only continue to improve tonight as both Ken Shamrock and the Rock will fall at the hands of Jeff Jarrett and Rob Van Dam respectively. Mr. McMahon announces a huge main event as well, saying Kane and the Big Show will square off in a Number One Contenders match for the WWF title! Even more boos fill the arena as Vince says he has some ‘business’ to attend to. He turns around and looks at Vader. He tells Vader he told him not to lose last night no matter what. He says he’s letting Jarrett off the hook because of the finish, “but there is no excuse for your failure! You’ve been nothing but dead weight since I hand picked you to take out Austin in April, and now you can’t even take out Ken Shamrock!” With fire in his eyes Vince says “Big Show is the man who I’ve been looking for this entire time, you’re a worthless piece of trash! And like trash, we’re going to throw you out!” As Vince finishes talking the rest of the group attacks Vader! The crowd boos as they back him up into a corner and continue to strike away at him. As Vader sinks to the bottom everyone backs away except for Big Show. RVD goes to the outside and grabs a chair as the giant delivers a huge Chokeslam! RVD wraps the chair around Vader’s ankle as Big Show goes up to the middle turnbuckle and delivers an elbow drop! Vader screams in pain as his ankle must be shattered! RAW is CORPORATE heads to a break as the Corporation stand tall.
Break
As RAW is CORPORATE returns we see a replay of the disturbing scene that just took place as the Big Show shattered Vader’s ankle as ordered by Mr. McMahon. Jim Ross promises us to try and keep us posted on any medical update throughout the show.
Steven Regal def. Owen Hart: Steven Regal returned back on HeAT a few weeks ago, ditching the gimmick. Owen was looking to hand him his first loss, but after a distraction from Chris Jericho Regal finished him off with a Knee Trembler.
The crowd booed as the referee raised Regal’s hand. Jericho stood at ringside, smirking. Once Regal left the area Jericho grabbed a microphone and went into the ring. He says he believes he does not need to introduce himself to the WWF because everyone knows who Chris Jericho is. The world revolves around Chris Jericho! The crowd boos as Jericho smirks. He looks down at Owen Hart and tells him that he, Chris Jericho, is better than he could ever hope to be and he’s just getting started with making his life a living hell. He tells Owen he is now dealing with the “Y2J” problem and drops the microphone before locking in an elevated Boston Crab! The crowd boos as Jericho is relentless with the hold, referees running to the ring to get him off. Jericho refuses to let go, but the refs eventually pry him off as the screen fades away.
In the parking lot a black pick up truck pulls up in the parking lot. Is this Stone Cold Steve Austin?
Break
Returning from the commercial the black pick up is still shown parked in the back with no signs of who’s in it. We go back live to see Sean Waltman making his entrance for his match.
Edge def. Sean Waltman(w/Chyna): These two guys put on a exciting contest only 24 hours removed from the Intercontinental Championship match. When Chyna had the referee distracted, Sean tried to use a chair, but Christian ran out and took it from him, allowing Edge to hit a spear for the win!
The crowd popped as Christian watched from the outside. Chyna couldn’t believe it as Edge had his hand raises by the referee. Gangrel came out to the stage and smirked as Edge looked at the pair with a suspicious look. The two clapped and smirked as Edge looked on, still wary of the team, but almost like they’re starting to grow on him.

Break
In the arena Jim Ross and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler are at the announcers table as Jim Ross says while they are still waiting for an update on Vader, they officially have a report on Mick Foley. JR says due to the injuries he sustained in the Hell in a Cell match last night he could not be here for tonight’s show. He adds on saying he is not medically cleared to be competing here next week either, but apparently he is insisting that he shows up for the show. Lawler calls him an idiot as the Godfather’s theme hits to a pop.
Before D-Lo makes his entrance a replay of his championship victory from last night is shown.
Non-title; The Godfather(w/Hos) def. European Champion D-Lo Brown(w/Mark Henry) VIA DQ: Godfather had the size advantage, but the European Champion had ‘the World’s Strongest Man’ in his corner. Godfather was closing in on the victory, but his rival stepped in and attacked him causing the DQ.
The crowd booed as Henry continued the assault on Godfather. The European Champion got back up himself and stomped away at his former stable mate. Mark picked Godfather up seemingly with ease and sent him back to the mat with the World’s Strongest Slam. D-Lo went to the top, looking for the Lo Down, but Andrew Martin ran down to the ring! The champ bailed as Martin threw punch after punch, dazing Henry to a point where he could clothesline him out of the ring! Henry and D-Lo backed up the ramp as the former Hardcore Champion had come to the aid of the Godfather!
Back in the parking lot Kevin Kelly approaches the black pick up. He knocks on the door to no answer. He waits for a moment before knocking again, still no response. He tugs on the door and it opens, showing that nobody is inside! Kevin looks shocked is this just raises more questions. Was Stone Cold in the truck? If so, where did he go?
Break
RAW is CORPORATE returned as Mr. McMahon, the Goons, and Big Show were by the truck with security. Vince was asking them where did he go and all of the security just shrugged. Vince hollered “FIND HIM, DAMN IT!” as they all split to look for who would could only guess to be Stone Cold. Mr. McMahon was irate as the goons tried to calm him down. Back in the arena Jeff Jarrett and Shane McMahon were making their way to the ring.
Jeff Jarrett(w/Shane McMahon) def. Ken Shamrock: Jarrett avenged the lost to Rock last night by rolling through the Ankle Lock and stealing the three with a handful of tights!
Jarrett bailed from the ring as fast as he could. Shamrock couldn’t believe what just happened as he argued with the referee. Jarrett did a strut on the ramp as Shamrock pointed at him from the ring yelling “I’LL GET YOU BACK!”
Catch the replay of WWF Armageddon: In Your House tomorrow night at eight P.M. eastern time!
Break
Michael Cole was standing in the ring with a microphone as he welcomed everyone back to the show before introducing his guest, Val Venis. The theme of Venis hits to a pop from the crowd as a man in a towel walks out to the stage, but it’s not Val Venis. It’s Triple H! The crowd boos as Hunter mimics Val all the way down the ramp before entering the ring. Cole doesn’t know what to say, but luckily for him “Val” takes the microphone. He says he’s glad that Michael Cole asked him out for an interview, because he has a story to tell. The story of how he, “Val Venis,” got into the WWF. He said before he arrived on the scene he was going to be a star in adult films. There was only one tiny problem with this dream, and he literally means tiny. He started to get “emotional” before saying his Johnson was too small. He admitted to preying onto women to boast his self esteem, but his dream was hopeless. He went on to say he thought he could make up for his failed career by going to the WWF. Of course, it was just another failure as he could not match up to the much more handsome Triple H, who is really packing down there “if you know what I’m saying.” After berating Val some more, his theme hit once more and this time the real Val Venis came out! Val didn’t say a word as he immediately started to unload on the WWF Intercontinental Champion. Triple H was taken back as Val continued to fire shot after shot, forcing the game into the corner. Just then Chyna ran out with the Intercontinental Championship and she tossed the title into the ring. She got in herself and as Val turned around she went for the low blow, but he grabbed her hand! She was shocked as Val smirked at her and said “it was only a matter of time” before spinning his hips. She looked on in disgust, but this distraction allowed Triple H to ram him in the back of the head with the Intercontinental title! The crowd booed as Val fell to the mat, clutching his head. The crowd booed as Triple H and Chyna stood tall over Val as “the Game” looked down at him and trash talked. RAW is CORPORATE went to a break as Triple H held the title in the air, clearly these two aren’t done with each other just yet!
Break
A replay is shown of Triple H impersonating Val Venis in an interview with Michael Cole until Val himself came out, starting a brawl. Val had the upper hand until Chyna provided a distraction, allowing Triple H to crack him in the back of the head with the Intercontinental Championship.
Back in the ring Corporation member Rob Van Dam is standing by with a microphone. Rob talks about how next month is the Royal Rumble match with the winner getting a championship match at the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 15. RVD promises to the win the match because he only finds it fitting that the Whole Fn Show main events the biggest show of the year and becomes the new WWF Champion. Rob says he doesn’t care if it’s Undertaker, Mankind, or even another Corporation member - before he can finish speaking, the Rock’s theme hits to a huge pop! Rock comes out telling Rob Van Dam that he is not the Whole Fn Show, because if he was, it would flat out suck! The crowd laughs as Rock continues, saying he already whooped one corporate jabroni’s candy ass last night, so he has another problem whooping another one tonight. Before he finish speaking the Rock guarantees that he will be the one to win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania whether or not Vince McMahon and the rest of the Corporation liked it! If you smell what the Rock is cooking!
The Rock def. Rob Van Dam: After the heated pre-match comments these two went right at it. Rock picked up another huge win after dodging the Frog Splash and connecting with the Rock Bottom!
The crowd went wild again as the Rock was pronounced as the winner. The Rock celebrated his victory on the middle turnbuckle, the up and comer certainly has had the Corporation’s number in recent weeks with the huge roll he’s been on!
Backstage Mr. McMahon, Big Show, and the Goons were walking around with a group of police officers. Vince kept saying “WE’VE GOT TO FIND HIM.” Each one sounding angrier and more concerned than the last. Finally they entered a locker room to find Shane McMahon leaning against a wall, dazed, and Jeff Jarrett knocked out on the floor! Vince was in shock as the police officers tended to the Corporation members, was this all on Austin’s hands?
Break
Back from the break Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler recap what just happened as a replay is shown with Mr. McMahon finding Shane and ‘Double J’ knocked out backstage. After the reply Jim Ross says they do not have a medical update on Vader just yet, but they promise to keep everyone updated as much as possible.
Backstage Michael Cole is standing by with the man who failed to capture the Hardcore Championship last night, Steve Blackman. Cole reminds him of the tough loss on Sunday and asks what does his make of the whole situation with Al Snow. He says he knows who the real Al Snow, and what the Jackyl has turned him into is not the real one. Blackman calls the Jackyl and evil and twisted maniac who manipulated his poor friend into doing his own bidding. He vows he will get the real Al Snow back sooner or later, even if he has to use lethal force in order to do so. Blackman walks off the set as Cole thanks him for his time.
A recap is shown of Hell’s Henchmen winning the WWF Tag Team Championships last night. Following the video the Jackyl came out with a microphone and the new WWF Tag Team Champions. Jackyl says the prophecy came true last night and it’s only a matter of time before the darkness swallows the World Wrestling Federation. The Jackyl says he would now like to introduce everyone to the ‘Acolytes’ of Hell’s Henchmen and the NEW World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Faarooq and Bradshaw! The crowd boos as Hell’s Henchmen make their way into the ring.
Non-title; WWF Tag Team Champions the Acolytes (w/the Jackyl) def. The Headbangers: Faarooq and Bradshaw adopted their lone name tonight as they put away the former champs following a Clothesline from Hell to Headbanger Mosh.
As the Acolytes are handed their championships the theme song of the Dudley Boyz hits to a huge pop. D-Von tells Hell’s Henchmen they got lucky last night, but it’s only a matter of time before their time is up! D-Von says he warned them about messing with the Dudleyz, and now they have sinned! He says the proper punishment would be a good ass whooping as he hands the microphone to Bubba. Ray stutters before D-Von slaps him in the back of the head, Bubba finally saying they are the Dudley Boyz and they will be your next WWF Tag Team Champions, because they’re having their rematch for the titles next week! The crowd pops as both parties look satisfied with the news.
Later on tonight on RAW is CORPORATE the Big Show and Kane face off in a Number One Contenders match, but up next Sable has her celebration ceremony!
Break
The Royal Rumble is live on pay per view January 24th. 30 superstars compete in the annual Royal Rumble match for a chance to main event WrestleMania 15 against the World Wrestling Federation Champion.
Back in the ring Commissioner Slaughter is in the ring, holding the WWF Woman’s Championship. Slaughter says for the past two months they’ve been trying to find the rightful Woman to hold this title, and last night they finally found her as Sable beat Jacqueline and Luna Vachon in a triple threat match. Slaughter asks us all to welcome the NEW WWF Woman’s Champion; Sable! The crowd pops as the new champion makes her way out in a black robe. She enters the ring and takes a microphone while Slaughter congratulates her on the victory and hands her the title. Sable thanks Slaughter and tells him it’s an honor to be standing here as the Woman’s Champion. She said she’s had a roller coaster year as she’s had to deal with everything from injuries to Marc Mero. Sable goes on to say she preserved through all of her troubles thanks to the great fans of the WWF and would like to ‘reward’ them for all their support. She then takes off her robe and throws it out of the ring, stripping down to her bra and panties! The crowd pops as Sable parades around the ring with a title, but suddenly she’s interrupted by Jacqueline and Luna Vachon. Jacqueline complains about how they just revived the Woman’s Division, and now Sable’s trying to kill it in day one with this ’show.’ The crowd boos as Jacqueline continues on saying Sable has no self respect for herself and is only degrading herself. Sable tells the two ladies they can say whatever they want, but the fact is she’s standing here as the Woman’s Champion. Luna tells her that won’t be for long and the two attack her! The crowd boos as it’s Armageddon all over again. They continue the assault, only for Ivory and Sunny to run in for the save! The crowd pops as the two chase off Jacqueline and Luna before checking on Sable.
Vince McMahon and the Big Show are walking about backstage with the police, without the Goons. Show asks if it was really a good idea to send Briscoe and Patterson off on their own, but Vince says they’ll be fine. He tells Show they need to find Austin at all costs, but just then they hear groaning coming from down the hallway. The group rushes down the corridor to see the Goons taken out and Rob Van Dam laying on the floor, clutching his ribs! Vince gets down on a knee and asks Rob “WAS IT HIM? WAS IT AUSTIN?” Rob was too hurt to speak as Vince had a look of deep concern on his face, RAW is CORPORATE going to a break.
Break
A replay is shown of Mr. McMahon and Big Show finding more Corporation members taken out backstage, this time it being the goons and Rob Van Dam. The cameras go right back to Vince, Show, and the police as they enter the locker room. This time they enter locker room of none other than D-Generation X. The group aren’t in a good mood, and Road Dogg wastes no time in asking why the greatest tag team in the WWF, the next World Tag Team Champions of the World, the New Age Outlaws are not in a match. Waltman asks him to do something about Edge, Christian, and Gangrel while Triple H tells him to take care of Val Venis. Vince asks them all to calm down before saying he’s got a plan to help all of them. He tells them if they help him find Austin, then he will gladly solve all their problems. The Outlaws look suspicious, but Hunter and Waltman don’t hesitate in accepting. Vince thanks them and leaves the room, leaving Gunn to ask the champ and Waltman “are you guys sure?”
As the scene drifted away from D-Generation X’s locker room, we saw a replay of Scott Taylor becoming the number one contender for the Light Heavyweight Champion on Sunday Night HeAT.
Light Heavyweight Championship: Brian Christopher def. Scott Taylor: The crowd was not in favor of either of these men, but they sympathized with Taylor more. Christopher took the win after the Tennessee Jam.
The crowd booed as Brian Christopher was handed his Light Heavyweight Championship. He danced around the ring with it until Scott Taylor got up. The two met in the middle of the ring and after a heated moment, Christopher extended his hand. Scott denied it, but turned it into a hug! The team embraced in the ring as the crowd booed, Too Much finally back on the same page!
Kevin Kelly is backstage trying to get a word with the World Wrestling Federation Champion, the Undertaker. Kelly asks ‘the Phenom’ if he had any remorse for Mankind and his thoughts on tonight’s main event with Big Show and Kane. ‘Taker said he had no remorse for Mankind and it was his own foolishness that caused him to take the fall that he did on Sunday. Undertaker said he tried to prepare him for Hell, but the truth is no one can ever be prepared. As for tonight, he said, it doesn’t matter which one of the Corporate stooges win the match. He will retain the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble and like he said last night, if one of McMahon’s other stooges wants to get involved, there will be hell. Before the interview ends Kevin asks him if he thinks Austin is here tonight, and Undertaker simply states “I hope he is.”
Break
Before the main event, Mr. McMahon made his way out with D-Generation X. Also with him were four police officers, who blocked the ramp incase Stone Cold made his way out.
The Big Show versus Kane went to a No Contest: Big Show was going for the Chokeslam on Kane, but suddenly the glass shattered! The crowd went nuts as Austin made his way out, taking down all the police officers! He grabbed a chair and went into the ring, hitting both men multiple times until the bell rang!
Austin hit Big Show so hard with one shot he fell backwards and got tied up in the ropes! The crowd popped as Stone Cold continued to drive the shots to Kane’s skull, but D-Generation X hit the ring! The four of them went after Austin like a pack of wild dogs. Just then the lights went out, and when the came back on, Undertaker was in the ring! The crowd didn’t know whether to cheer or boo as ‘Taker took the Outlaws out with a double Chokeslam. Triple H scrammed from the ring with his title as Waltman took a Chokeslam himself! ‘Taker thought he cleared house, but just then Austin turned him around and hit a Stunner on the champion! The crowd went nuts again as everyone was down except Vince and Austin. Mr. McMahon gulped as Austin went after him, RAW is CORPORATE going off the air as Stone Cold chased him through the crowd! What a chaotic scene!
Might have over done it on the brawls again, got damn attitude era.
