WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 21st June 1998...Correction on the date. The New Age Outlaws beating the Disciples of the Apocalypse is a fine opening contest, to present us with Billy Gunn and Jesse James. Cactus Jack beating Marc Mero isn't a bad match, just a shame that Mero's on a losing streak really. You could have easily added another match here. Owen Hart beating D-Lo Brown is a good opportunity for D-Lo, but a solid main event anyway. Overall, not a bad episode, you need to take advantage of your extended air time and have more storyline time and usage. Have some main eventer promos, feud advancement. It all went down on this show as well as RAW.
WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 22nd June 1998...Good promo with Vince McMahon in the ring first, Stone Cold Steve Austin arriving didn't surprise me though. Decent brawl with Vader and Austin, D-Generation X's involvement was odd though. It basically did little other than to set up tonight. Cactus Jack and Ken Shamrock beating Kurt Angle and The Rock set up both semi-final matches for this Sunday, and I see Cactus, Ken or Rock winning. It's too soon for Angle. I feel the Nation should have gotten involved even more. If Angle had taken out Rock, the Nation would have assaulted him, needless to say. Bad logic here. Sean Waltman beating Terry Funk is nice, went on a little earlier than I assumed. Liked Faarooq and Rock's tension. Vader beating Owen Hart, again, earlier than I thought. Would have put another match into this hour to be honest. Interesting brawl to close out RAW. Livening opening contest to open up War Zone though, LOD 2000 and the New Age Outlaws need to stop running into each other at this point though. King of the Ring should be their final altercation. Good to see the Headbangers join the fold. Rob Van Dam beating Steve Blackman was expected, not a bad match. The Undertaker killed Marc Mero easily. Loved the promo from Undertaker and Kane, resembled what I have in store for their rivalry in the summer months. And lastly, Triple H and Stone Cold going to a no contest main event was expected. A hot show, going into King of the Ring.

-Interesting main event for tonight, none the less pumped for the show. -Angle betraying Rocky, interesting to hype the feud. -Waltman picking up the victory makes DX look strong. It should be good. -Vader needed this victory to hype him for the WWF Championship Match, great match. -RVD over Blackman was expected. A decent call here and a decent match. -Triple H and Stone Cold going to a No Contest was the best way to make either look weak. -Good show; can't wait for KOTR.

WWF @ Austin, TX - Frank Erwin Center - June 28, 1998 The heat opening plays before we go to the arena where the pyro blasts off and we are greeted by JR and Jerry Lawler. They say that tonight on HeAT they have an exclusive interview with Owen Hart lined up, and Andrew Martin and Bradshaw will square off only hours before TAKA Michinoku and Rob Van Dam fight! Also, we have a huge preview for the King of the Ring pay per view!
Andrew Martin def. Bradshaw The two bigger men of their alliances squared here tonight. This was a decent match at best, and Martin picked up the win with a huge Pump handle Slam.
Up next, we have an interview with Owen Hart, only on Sunday Night HeAT!
Break
We come back to see JR and Michael Cole who introduce to us Owen Hart! Hart as in the back sitting in the locker room and JR begins to ask him questions. JR asks Owen is in shape to compete tonight after his match versus Vader on Raw is War. Owen responds with that he is MORE than ready. For months and MONTHS, D-Generation-X has been the biggest thorn in his side. From screwing him out of championship to championship from even temporarily putting him on the shelf, and when Hunter disrespected him this past Monday, it only lit fuel to the fire! JR goes on to ask Owen question, but we suddenly hear the voice of Triple H! Hunter says who the well cares what Owen Hart has to say? After tonight, when he beats Hart for what, the fourth, fifth time, Owen will be nothing more than an afterthought. Hunter looks up at the Titantron as Owen says that’s real cute, Hunter, but for the past seven months all you’ve done is run your mouth and screw people over any way possible. And tonight, that all comes to an end as Triple H will have no choice to finally scream out “I TAP!” in front of everybody once he locks him in the sharpshooter! Hunter responds by saying it’s actually pretty funny how Owen thinks he has a chance of beating him! Hunter tells him tonight he’s kick to kick Owen’s ass so hard that his boot is going to come out of his mouth! Owen tells Hunter to keep talking, because tonight, he’s going to be screaming like a *****! The crowd cheers as Triple H seems frustrated with the comment, but suddenly, Owen falls on the screen! Soon it turns out to be none other than Sean Waltman laying the boots into Owen! Triple H laughs and points to the screen as Sean picks Owen up and attempts a pile driver on the floor, but staff was there just in time to get Sean out of the room! Staff attends to Hart as Hunter continues to laugh, HeAT then goes to a black screen.
A video package hypes up the debut of “Edge.” It shows the man walking aimlessly dark cities and actually attacking a pedestrian.
Break
Scorpio and Aguila def. Too Much In a very fun match here that featured plenty of high flying moves, Scorpio put Scott Taylor away with a 450 Splash.
Backstage we see Michael Cole who is hyping up the King of the Ring pay per view. He first ran down the card, featuring TAKA Michinoku defending the Light Heavyweight Championship versus Rob Van Dam, Fatal Four Way for the Tag Team Championships, Triple H defending the European Championship against Owen Hart, the King of the Ring tournament, Undertaker goes to war against Kane inside Hell in a Cell, and finally Stone Cold Steve Austin defends the WWF Championship versus Vader in a No Holds Barred match! Cole then announces he has just received word, since the first time since 1995, the winner of the King of the Ring tournament will face the World Wrestling Federation Champion at Summerslam!
Break
A video recaps Raw is War with Vince McMahon making the main event of Stone Cold versus Triple H. The recap ends with Vader once again assaulting Austin and putting him through the table! Sean Waltman then makes his way out for our main event!
Terry Funk def. Sean Waltman In an entertaining match to close out HeAT, Funk defeated Sean with the Sleeper Hold! Funk celebrated his victory as HeAT went off the air, King of the Ring is up next!
King of the Ring 98 - Pittsburgh, PA - Civic Arena - June 28, 1998 An opening video plays highlighting tonight’s main events, the King of the Ring finals, Undertaker versus Kane in Hell in a Cell, and Steve Austin versus Vader! We then cut live to see the pyro blast off!
JR and King greet us and hype up our main events one more time as the theme song of Kurt Angle hits the PA system!
King of the Ring Semi Final Match: Kurt Angle vs. Cactus Jack A fun little opener here which saw Cactus Jack quickly takes the advantage and back Angle into a corner. Angle would quickly fight back with his match came and he was able to keep Cactus down on the ground for a minute. Cactus then fought back himself, but breaking out of a hold and pushing Angle off the ropes and hitting a massive clothesline! Angle got up, but only to be hit by another one! Angle then retreated into the corner, but Cactus pounded him with shot after shot! Cactus remained in control for another minute until Kurt Angle escaped a DDT and hit a massive German suplex! Cactus rolled out of the ring and Angle stood on the apron, but when Cactus got up, Angle hit him with a giant moonsault! Angle would then remain in control of the match for the next few minutes, and he became more brutal. He threw Cactus into the ring pots and slammed his head right on the floor multiple times! Finally, the two made their way in the ring where Angle stayed in control. Towards the end of the match, Cactus started to show life again. He hit Angle with a right, then a left, then a right, and then another left! Cactus then took Angle and threw him into the ring post! When Angle turned around, he hit him with a Double Arm DDT! He then covered him, but Angle got his foot on the rope at the two count! Cactus couldn’t believe it, but when he went to pick Angle up, Angle hit him with a chop block! When Cactus was limping, Angle went to him with the Angle Slam, but Cactus was able to get out and hit Angle with a Double Arm DDT for the Win! Winner: Cactus Jack (7:56)
As Cactus rolled out of the ring Angle regained his focus in the ring and couldn’t believe what had just happened as he has suffered his first pin fall lost in the WWF! Angle storms out of the ring while Kevin Kelly catches up with Cactus to get his thoughts. Cactus tells Kevin that one week ago on Sunday Night HeAT he promised to finally break out by winning the King of the Ring tournament, and that he is NOT afraid to get a little hardcore! Cactus chuckles before saying it doesn’t matter if your Ken Shamrock or The Rock, just be ready!
We then see JR and King who hype up our next match, the final King of the Ring Semi Final match, Ken Shamrock versus The Rock! They talk about the long history they have, and it all comes down to this match right here!
King of the Ring Semi Final Match: Ken Shamrock vs. The Rock(w/The Nation) A good match which saw Shamrock start off strong by delivering shot after shot to Rock. Rock was no slouchier himself and quickly fought back with some of his own shots. Shamrock seemed to be in control until he went for a big boot, which Rock ducked before planting Shamrock with a huge DDT! Rock then remained in the driver’s seat until he went for a running neck breaker, which Shamrock was able to dodge causing Rock to fall right on his @$$! Rock got up, and now Shamrock was able to connect with the boot! Shamrock unleashed on The Rock, until he rolled out of the ring and hid behind The Nation. Shamrock then went out there and it seemed if he would take them all on, but the ref threw himself in the middle to try and stop anything from happening. Shamrock then just picked up The Rock and threw him in the ring, but when Shamrock got in Rock hit him with a huge dropkick! As Shamrock got to his knees, Rock hit him with another DDT! Rock then contained the assault for the next two minutes, but when he went for the Rock Bottom, Shamrock pushed him off and hit a huge belly to belly! Rock got up, only to be hit by another belly to belly! Rock was staggering, and Shamrock hit him with a spine buster! Shamrock then went nuts, but Mark Henry got on the apron! Shamrock then kick him right in the stomach, causing him on to fall on everyone expect for Faarooq! As Shamrock turned around, The Rock hit him with a rock bottom! The crowd booed as The Rock waited for Shamrock to get back to his feet, only for The Rock to hit him with the Rock Bottom once again! Winner: The Rock (9:42)
Following the match The Rock looks at Faarooq and tells him that is “how you do it you old piece of crap.” Rock then slides out of the ring to catch up with the rest of The Nation. Kevin Kelly once again is out here to get The Rock’s thoughts. Rock tells Kevin that he should not be ready, but tonight, Cactus Jack should be ready! As tonight will be the crowning moment, no pun indented, of the Rock’s career, and that even thought Cactus is so close to finally reaching the top, he will on hit Rock Bottom. And as for Faarooq, he better know his role and shut his damn mouth!
We pan over to JR and King who say the show must go on and up next one of the WWF’s most heated feuds comes to ahead next, as Rob Van Dam and Andrew Martin look to take out the trash as they say.
We see a replay of Van Dam defeating TAKA Michinoku at last month’s Over the Edge.
Light Heavyweight Championship: TAKA Michinoku©(w/Bradshaw) vs. Rob Van Dam(w/Andrew Martin) Without a doubt this match had the most fast paced action, much like their past two encounters. They started off the match going back and forth with TAKA at first taking control with a drop kick, but Van Dam would keep up the pace with a spinning heel kick. Van Dam then hit a leg drop and went to follow it up, but TAKA moved and hit Van Dam with a soccer kick. The two continued the fast paced match for the next few minutes and no man seemed to get the real advantage. That soon came to a screeching halt when TAKA climbed the top rope and Andrew Martin hopped on the apron and pushed TAKA off the top rope while Van Dam had the ref distracted! Bradshaw went over to attack Martin and the ref tried to pull them apart, so Van Dam hit TAKA with a low blow! Van Dam then tried to toss TAKA out of the ring, but TAKA was able to counter and he threw Van Dam to the other side! Without knowing, TAKA happened to throw Van Dam onto Martin and Bradshaw! As the three tried to get back on their feet, TAKA leaped out of the ring and crashed onto all three men! The crowd loved the move as TAKA and Van Dam struggled to make it in for the ten count. At the count of seven Van Dam made it back in and TAKA made it back in at a count of eight. Van Dam gave TAKA absolutely no breathing room and kicked TAKA right in the jaw as soon he got into the ring! He covered, but only got a two count. At the end of the match Van Dam had TAKA down following hitting the Rolling Thunder. Van Dam ascended to the top rope and went for the Five Star Frog Splash, but TAKA moved out of the way at the last second possible! Martin tried to get involved again, but Bradshaw finally got his hands on him and threw him into the steel steps! Meanwhile, TAKA measured Van Dam up in the ring and hit him with the Michinoku Driver for the three count! Winner and still Light Heavyweight Champion: TAKA Michinoku (9:24)
Bradshaw hands TAKA his title who holds it high in the air as TAKA has finally put Van Dam in his place! JR and King recap the match, but they turn focus to our next match, one of the longest lasting rivalries in the WWF, Triple H versus Owen Hart! They go over how this is Owen’s last chance at the championship! A short video then plays highlighting their long lasting feud!
European Championship: Triple H©(w/Chyna) vs. Owen Hart As the bell rings the two men circle around each other in the ring like two wild cats getting ready for an ally fight. The two lock up and Owen Hart has no problem taking control of the technical battle, as expected. Hart stays on Hunter, but Triple H is soon able to power out and drops Hart with a knee right to the jaw. Triple H then brought the brawling aspect to the match up with multiple shots to Hart’s face, but ‘Black Hart’ quickly fought back with a slugger of his own and a drop kick. The two would then take the match at a slower pace for the next few minutes until Hart had enough and started to use a little more speed to take control of the match up. The attempt would then go to fail as Hart went for a diving cross body, but Triple H moved out of the way and planted Hart with a huge DDT, but covered him for only a two count. Triple H remained in control for the next minute, but the crowd started to will Hart on. Hart then was able to fight out of a sleeper hold with a dropping jaw breaker, sending Hunter out of the ring! As Triple H got up, Hart dived off the apron and landed on Triple H! Hart then unleashed a fury of punches onto Triple H before Chyna decided to get involved with the match. She ended up throwing Hart in the guard rail, and the ref noticed this, so he threw her out of the ringside area! Chyna and Triple seemed furious, and Chyna refused to leave. Commissioner Slaughter and WWF staff then ran out and ejected Chyna from ringside! Triple H then took out his frustrations on Hart, and threw him into the ring steps! Towards the end of the match Hart was attempting the sharpshooter, but Hunter pushed him into the corner! When Hart came back, Triple H kicked him and connected with the pedigree! He covered, but much to the crowd’s delight, Owen kicked out at two! Triple H couldn’t believe it, but he didn’t have enough time as Hart rolled him up, but instead of getting the pin, Hart locked Triple H in the sharpshooter! Hunter then reached for the ropes, but Hart got up and dragged him to the center of the ring! Triple H couldn’t take it anymore, and he tapped out! Winner and NEW European Champion: Owen Hart (14:36)
The ref then handed Owen Hart his title and Hart jumped up on the top turnbuckle and raised the title high in victory! Sean Waltman then came out to check on Hunter as Owen remained in the ring celebrating his victory!
We then head backstage to see Vince McMahon talking to Vader. He is pumping Vader up for tonight’s main events and he tells Vader tonight is his last shot, and he needs to destroy Austin tonight. Vince says he wants to see Vader pick apart Austin, he says he wants Austin to be bleeding, he says he wants to see Austin down on the canvas, defeated. Vader responds by saying Vince should not worry about that, and that he promises to leave Austin in a pool of his own blood tonight as he holds the WWF Championship high above his head. It’s VADER TIME!
We then cut to the ringside area where we see JR and King hyping up our next match, the Fatal Four Match for the WWF Tag Team Championships! They say tonight may just be The L.O.D.’s final chance at the tag titles, and will they finally get one more reign?
WWF Tag Team Championships: The New Age Outlaws©(w/Chyna) vs. The Headbangers vs. The New Midnight Express(w/Jim Cornette) vs. The L.O.D. The match started off with Animal and Thrasher, as the heels refused to start off the match. After about twenty-five seconds they pulled a fast one and tagged in Bombastic Bob and Billy Gunn! The beginning of the match saw multiple quick tags as no team wanted to stay in for a while, but soon Hawk would not tag out when he finally got Road Dogg in the ring! Hawk had his way with him for a good minute, but Road Dogg got the tag into Billy Gunn! Then, Bodacious Bart tagged himself in on Hawk! Billy and Bart then had a heated confrontation in the ring! They battled back and forth, but Billy took control after two minutes, but Mosh quickly tagged himself in. As the match went on it started to really breakdown as Jim Cornette and Chyna were starting to interfere more often, and team members were constantly coming in despite not being tagged in. After a while the ref just gave up and all the teams started to brawl much like what happened on Raw is War this past Monday Night. Throughout the chaos, the legal men, Billy Gunn and Headbanger Mosh, remained in the ring. The Legion of Doom brawled with The New Midnight Express on the ramp part while Headbanger Thrasher battled at the ringside area of the arena. The Legion of Doom went up to brawl all the way to the entrance, where they were so far up the ref couldn’t even keep an eye on them anymore. As the L.O.D. went in control, Dan Serven came out of nowhere and gave a double clothesline to both men! Bart and Bob then began to stomp on them as Dan quietly made his exit. Meanwhile, in the ring, while the ref was trying to see what was going on up at the entrance stage Road Dogg tossed Billy Gunn one half of the tag team titles! Gunn the creamed Mosh with the belt! He then threw it out of the ring and pinned Mosh for the three! Winners and STILL WWF Tag Team Champions: The New Age Outlaws (11:22)
The Outlaws celebrated their victory as Chyna came into the ring. L.O.D. and The New Midnight Express went on to brawl to the back while The Outlaws went on opposing turnbuckles and raised their titles in the air. How will Sgt. Slaughter re-act to another fast one pulled by D-Generation-X and the Outlaws?
Backstage we see Cactus Jack getting ready for his match as JR discusses the King of the Ring, and the finals are up next! We then see Kevin Kelly standing by with Faarooq. Kelly asks Faarooq what are his thoughts on The Rock making it to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament? Faarooq responds by saying he’ll give the kid props, because he made it further than he did himself, but that does not take away from the fact that he is an ungrateful punk! Rock then appears on the screen and tells Faarooq that he is only jealous that he has stepped right over him and that he will be winning the WWF Championship at Summerslam! Now for tonight, you better know your damn role, and shut your damn mouth because The Rock is going to walk out King of the Ring, or else! Rock leaves the screen before Faarooq can say anything!
A video package then plays showing multiple past King of the Ring winners. The video includes current wrestlers such as Triple H, the WWF Champion ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and the NEW European Champion, Owen Hart!
King of the Ring Finals; The Rock(w/The Nation) vs. Cactus Jack Well, it was finally time to see who would face the World Wrestling Federation Champion at Summerslam. Cactus starts the match off with hard shots to The Rock backing him into a corner. Rock has no problem in fighting back with his own shots to the skull. The match takes a slow pace in the start as Rock whips Cactus into the ropes and goes down, but when Cactus comes back he kicks Rock in the head and then slams him into the mat! Cactus seems to have control until Rock pulls a fast one and rakes his eyes before planting him with a huge DDT! Rock covered, but Cactus was able to kick out! The match began to take a faster pace as Rock went for a clothesline, but Cactus ducked, and then Cactus went for his own, ending with both men hitting each other with a clothesline! They staggered to their feet and Rock got Cactus by the ropes, and he tried to hit him with a suplex, but Cactus countered and suplex Rock right out of the ring! The crowd cheered as The Nation attended to The Rock, but Cactus Jack jumped off the top rope crashing onto Rock, D-Lo, Mark, and Kama! Rock and Cactus proceeded to brawl at ringside when all of sudden Rock rammed Cactus right into the ring post! Rock rolled in the ring and back out to break the count, but he hit Cactus with a huge spine buster onto the floor! Rock then grabbed a bottle of water, took a sip out of it, and threw it right into Cactus’ face! Rock taunted to the crowd, and unknowingly, an irate Cactus Jack hit him from behind! Cactus then rammed Rock into the steel steps before throwing him back into the ring! Cactus slide back into the ring and went for a pile driver, but Rock flipped Cactus over! Cactus turned around, and The Rock hit him with the Rock Bottom! He covered, but CACTUS KICKED OUT AT ONLY A TWO COUNT! The crowd went crazy as The Rock augured with the Ref, but Cactus flipped him over and planted with a Double Arm DDT! He covered, but The Rock kicked out at two as well! Cactus was in shock as he picked Rock up, and planted him with another Double Arm DDT! Before the ref could even count to three, Kama jumped onto the ring apron! D-Lo and Mark tried to attack Cactus, but he rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair! He came in and nailed D-Lo right in the head! Kama then came in too, but he only got hit by the chair too! Cactus then turned around and smacked Mark with it, causing him to stagger! Cactus hit him once more as Mark fell down! Rock got up and went for the Rock Bottom, but Cactus elbowed him and hit the third Double Arm DDT! He covered for the three count! Winner and King of the Ring: Cactus Jack (14:52)
Cactus celebrates his victory as the crowd goes crazy! A dazed Rock rolls to the outside and tries to get some answers out of Faarooq before slapping him! Faarooq looks fairly pissed off, and he kicks Rock in the gut before throwing him back in the ring! Rock yells at Faarooq again, but when he turns around Cactus hits him with the chair! Rock is out as Cactus Jack is proclaimed King of the Ring 1998! The crowd cheers again as Cactus climbs to the top rope and raises the chair high into the air!
An ad hypes up Fully Loaded, live on Pay Per View July, 26th!
A video package showcasing the feud between Stone Cold and Vader is shown from their Unforgiven match to Vader’s recent attacks on Austin on the WAR ZONE.
Backstage Vader is getting ready to go out to the ring when Vince McMahon comes up to him. Vince says that he swears to not interfere in tonight’s match, and Vader is going to have to prove himself by defeating Stone Cold all by himself. Vader nods and tells Vince that “he’s got this” before his theme song hits and Vader walks out to the ring!
WWF Championship Match; No Holds Barred: Stone Cold Steve Austin© vs. Vader As Stone Cold was on the top rope posing for the crowd Vader hit Austin from behind causing for the match to start. Vader quickly took advantage of the match and started to choke Austin out with his boot, but Austin would not go down without a fight. Once Vader was done Austin was able to get right back into it and he hammered Vader with shot after shot. For the first few minutes the two really just brawled around the ring, with no man getting the real clear advantage. Vader would once again attempt to be in control when he tried to throw Austin into the ring post, but Austin was able to kick him in the gut and hit a DDT stopping Vader’s attempt. Austin the dropped a knee on Vader before going to the outside, and grabbing a chair! Vader rolled out of the ring when Austin had his back turn, and when Austin turned around, Vader kicked the chair right into his face! Vader appeared to be in the driver’s seat, but Austin tripped him and Vader went right into the steel steps! Austin picked up the steps and he started to assault Vader with them! After around three shots Austin dropped the steps, and attempted to pick Vader up, but he was not out of the fight and Vader picked Austin right up and slammed him back first into the steel steps! Vader then finally took full control of the match with a huge leg drop! About two minutes later the two were back in the ring with a chair, a garbage can, and a crutch that Vader took from a fan at ringside. As Vader approached a down Austin, who was now bleeding after a chair shot, Steve picked up the crutch and hit Vader right in his knees! Vader was staggering, but Austin hit him in the face with it! Vader fell down, and Austin hit Vader with the crutch over and over! He covered, but it was only for a two count. A little bit after the two once again found themselves outside of the ring, where Vader had cleared off the announcers table! As Vader turned around, Austin smacked him with the chair once more! Vader then fell backwards onto the table! Austin then climbed on the Spanish announcers table and taunted to the crowd, before running off the table, but Vader moved! As Austin slide off the table, but Vader picked him back up and power bombed him through the table again! Both men were down as the crowd was buzzing with excitement! At the end of the match after some more brawling by the entrance way, the two made it back in the ring for the last time, as Briscoe and Patterson made their way to the ring! The two goons then set up a table in the corner of the ring while Austin was stomping on Vader. Austin saw this, and he took Briscoe out with a huge right hand! He then turned around, and have Patterson a huge Stunner! Vader then got up, and he gave Austin a huge big boot! As Austin was in between the middle and top rope, Vader locked him in the camel’s clutch! Blood was pouring down from Austin’s face as Vince McMahon made his way out to the ringside, and he started to yell at Austin! Vince then proceeded to slap Stone Cold right in the face! This fired Austin up, who then raked Vader’s eye! As Vader was recuperating, Austin kicked Vince, who was now on the apron, right in the groin! Vince fell to the floor, as Vader went for a clothesline, but Austin ducked and hit Vader with a stunner, sending Vader through the table! The crowd went crazy as Austin pinned him for the three! Winner and STILL WWF Champion: Stone Cold Steve Austin (18:28)
Austin was handed his championship as he raised it high in the air over Vader. Vince was slowly getting up after what happened, and he couldn’t believe what he was seeing! Austin has once again over came Vince’s antics! Austin stuck the finger at Vince before calling for two beers, and drinking them, as The camera then goes live as JR and King discuss our next match, perhaps the most personnel feud in history, The Undertaker versus Kane. JR talks about how this will be the last encounter, and it is going to end all where it started, Hell in a Cell.
A short video package highlights the feud that has stood the test of time, The Undertaker versus Kane. It shows from Kane debuting at last year’s Bad Blood event to the recent brawl they had on Raw is War. We then head to the live action where we see the cell being lowered! Kane’s pyro then blasts off as Kane and Paul Bearer make their way towards the cell!
Hell in a Cell: The Undertaker vs. Kane(w/Paul Bearer) As the bell rings the two brothers meet in the center of the ring. They have a very tense stare down before Kane throws the very first punch. Kane continues with the shots until Taker fights back with his own shots! They trade fist for a little bit until Kane breaks the chain with a kick to the stomach. Kane then DDTs Undertaker to the canvas, but Taker is able to get up very soon. Kane seems to take control of the match early on, but he never fully gets the advantage as Undertaker always shows a little sign of life in him. After a while Undertaker started to fight back once more and he started to hammer shots into Kane’s face. Kane eventually falls out of the ring, and Taker follows him. The two brothers then remain outside of the ring for the next few minutes where they use the cell to their advantage multiple times, most notably when Kane slammed Taker’s face into it multiple times and when Taker chokeslammed Kane right into the wall! In the next few minutes Paul handed Kane a chair who proceeded to smack Taker with it multiple times! They were at the door now, and Kane hit the chain that locks the cell with the chair multiple times! With the lock weakened, Kane pried open the door! Taker got up, and now with the chair, and he smacked Kane right in the face with it! Kane fell out of the cell, and Taker followed him! They brawled outside of the cell, but eventually, Kane climbed up the cell! The crowd was going crazy, and Undertaker followed him up there! The two brothers then slugged fists out on the top of the cell! Kane would end up getting the advantage, and he chokeslammed Undertaker right on top of the cell! The crowd booed as Kane picked Taker up again, and it looked like he was going to throw Undertaker off the cell! Taker fought back though, and Kane quickly climbed off the cell as Taker got the upper hand. Undertaker then proceeded to follow Kane back in the cell. A little closer to the ending after multiple chokeslams and tombstone between both men, Undertaker took a chair and smacked Kane so hard in the head with it, it became dented! Kane was down, and Paul Bearer came into the ring! Undertaker quickly turned around, and he walked towards Paul Bearer! Paul tried to back out, but Undertaker grabbed him by the throat! Undertaker then turned around with Paul in his grasp, ready for a chokeslam, but Kane hit him with a big boot! As Taker staggered, Kane hit him with a chokeslam! Kane then waited for Taker to get up, and when he did, Kane hit him with a tombstone, his third one, onto a chair! Kane covered him for the three! Winner: Kane (21:29)
Kane got up to his knees as Paul Bearer came over to check on Kane. Taker was left on the canvas as Kane got up and set off his pyro. Paul looked at Undertaker as Kane looked down upon Undertaker and blankly starred at him. The cell was then raised as Kane and Paul proceeded to leave the ring at this time. As Kane and Paul walked up the entrance area Paul couldn’t help it but to laugh as The Undertaker sat up in the ring! King of the Ring goes of the air with Undertaker sitting in the ring.

WWF King of the Ring: Sunday 28th June 1998...Strange decision to have Cactus Jack on the show first, but it would have gotten a decent amount of viewers to tune in anyway. Happy to see Jack win against Kurt Angle, who would have still been green at this point. The Rock beating Ken Shamrock would have been a less-awkward, much better match to kick off the show, using the knowledge of their history and rivalry. Rock with the win is fair, could have gone either way. Solid match. TAKA Michinoku beating Rob Van Dam is fine, hopefully their last encounter at that. Owen Hart winning the WWF European Championship is great, hopefully Owen's final interaction with D-Generation X. The New Age Outlaws retaining the WWF Tag Team Championships was a totally obvious move, this match could have been built better. I'd have had The Rock win the King of the Ring really. Nonetheless, Cactus with the win is fine. But Rock would have got a huge rub beating Jack as well as winning the tournament. Good WWF Championship defense by Stone Cold Steve Austin, class booking to have Austin put at odds just to beat Vader. Wonder where Vader goes from here. Kane winning Hell in a Cell against The Undertaker was a surrpise indeed, obviously not as good as Cactus facing 'Taker. A solid pay-per-view, not bad at all.

Alright, been waiting for this. C'mon Vader!
- Happy Martin won. I can see him as a main eventer.
- Nice Owen promo. Interesting Edge video. Can't wait to see where you go with this.
- Scorpio & Aguila winning is fine.
- Winner gets a title shot? I can see Cactus/Austin at Summerslam.
- Terry Funk winning is good. Can't wait for the PPV!
- Expected Cactus to win. I can picture him winning the whole thing.
- The Rock/Shamrock match could have gone either way. Expected Shamrock to get disqualified. I see Farooq costing Rock his match later tonight.
- Surprised that TAKA won. Would've preferred RVD but maybe Edge will take it away from him.
- Alright, that match I've been waiting for. Great match, happy Owen won. Hopefully, both of these men eventually go for the world title.
- Would've preferred NME to win but I'm fine with the Outlaws.
- Can't wait for Farooq/Rock. Possibly, at Fully Loaded. Expected Cactus to win. Austin needs to win for my prediction to be complete.
- Would've preferred Vader to win but I thought Austin would.
- I like the fact that Hell in a Cell is last. Really makes it feel important. WOW! Surprised that Kane won but I kinda like it.
Great show! I really love the time period this is set and you are doing a great job with it.

- The Rock doesn't even need The Nation anymore, Faarooq is the true leader of The Nation and Rocky it is time to break out on your own and become The People's Champ, if you smell what The Rock is cookin
- I wanted Taker to beat Kane inside Hell In A Cell, but I am perfectly okay with Kane beating him, but this will be far from over especially if Taker has anything to say about it. Bring on the Ministry of Darkness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Vader losing to Austin, I honestly saw that coming by a long shot, but I know Austin will lose his WWE Title sooner or later, it all just depends on who will beat him for it, I can see Kane beating Austin to become WWE Champion since he has just come off the biggest win of his career beating Taker inside HIAC, if not Kane, can definitely see it being either The Rock, HHH, or the King of the Ring himself Cactus Jack
- Love Kurt Angle, this is the start of a promising and legendary career, even though he lost at King of the Ring, he has a very bright future and will eventually become WWE Champion if not by the end of this year in your diary, he will be in 1999, you watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- New Age Outlaws still the Tag Champs, they are just that dominant of a team, I cannot see anybody beating them anytime soon
- Owen Hart beating HHH to become WWE European Champion, I love that move, it is time for HHH to go into the main event anyways, so for him to lose the strap, it's all good, but Owen he will be a main eventer soon too
- Overall, great PPV, and I cannot wait for the aftermath on RAW

WWF @ Cleveland, OH - Gund Arena - June 29, 1998 A video package plays highlighting last night’s King of the Ring event. It shows Owen Hart finally overcoming Triple H for the European Championship, Cactus Jack winning the King of the Ring tournament, Kane defeating The Undertaker inside the Hell in a Cell, finally ending their feud, and Stone Cold Steve Austin defeating Vader to retain his WWF Championship. The video closes with Stone Cold having a couple of beers.
We open up the show with pyro and instead of going directly to JR and Cole, we see a graphic hyping up The New Age Outlaws issuing an open challenge, but Stone Cold Steve Austin’s theme song hits!
The WWF Champion makes his way out to the ring to a huge pop. He mentions that once again he kicked Vader’s fat ass last night, and hell, he even kicked Vince in his privates. Yet, that is not the point, because of his victory last night it’s about damn time someone else tries to dethrone Stone Cold Steve Austin of his championship belt though, and it seems if that man is none other than, but before he can finish, Cactus Jack makes his way out to the ring! The King of the Ring winner tells Austin that he went through hell over the past month to get to where he is right now! Cactus tells Austin that he hopes he saw what he did to The Nation last night, because that is only a very small sample of what is going to come to Austin at Summerslam! Austin says Cactus needs to keep telling himself that or his ass is going to end up like Vader! Before the two can say anything else, Vince McMahon himself makes his way out to the stage! He warns Cactus and Austin that they might just be jumping the gun a little too quickly! Because Summerslam is not until two more months, and there is still Fully Loaded, and at that event, Stone Cold needs to defend his Championship! Austin tells Vince he doesn’t give a damn who he needs to defend the title against just stop playing games! Vince chuckles and tell Austin he is jumping the gun again, and he will have to wait! Also, you two you should stop bickering over who will be the next WWF Champion, because tonight they have to team up against The Rock and D-Lo Brown! Cactus and Stone Cold stare down in the ring as Raw goes to a break!
Break
We come back from a break to see Jeff Jarrett making his usual entrance.
Jeff Jarrett def. Ken Shamrock VIA Count Out Shamrock and Jeff were brawling on the outside when all of a sudden Jeff threw Shamrock into the ring post and slid back into the ring. The ref couldn’t tell that Tennessee Lee came from the crowd on the other side and grabbed Shamrock’s ankle causing him to be counted out!
Following the match Shamrock seemed pissed off as Jeff was in shock! Shamrock then slid into the ring and went into the ring and tried to attack Jeff, but Lee jumped on his back! Jeff then picked up a guitar and smashed it over Shamrock’s head! Jeff and Lee shook hands as the screen went to black, what a rough twenty four hours for Shamrock!
Catch the King of the Ring replay Tuesday Night, Eight P.M. Eastern time!
Break
We come back from a break to see Marc Mero making his way out with a black woman with black hair! Mero told everybody that he has been on a losing streak ever since Sable and he lost a tag match three months ago. He says the lovely lady he is with as a MUCH better person than Sable will ever be, and she is the lovely Jacqueline, who will actually lead him to success!
Marc Mero (w/Jacqueline) def. Tom Brandi Mero put Brandi away after the TKO. Following the match Mero and Jacqueline shared a kiss in the ring!
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing with The New Age Outlaws. Kelly asks them about a rumor that has been going on about them issuing and open challenge for the WWF Tag Team titles tonight? Road then says ho you didn’t know? Well, those are indeed true and The Outlaws beat every top tag team here in the WWF, and it’s time for some competition. Now every single week they will have this challenge every single week until someone beats them! Gunn takes the microphone and says they will call it the Y.B.C.S.O.C. The “You Better Call Somebody Open Challenge.” The Outlaws walk off as Raw is War heads to a break.
Break
A video hypes up the debut of Edge. He is seen walking in a subway with very little people in it, sitting in the middle of the floor of the subway and even attacking one of the passengers!
Steve Blackman def. Rob Van Dam(w/Andrew Martin) In this match Martin tried to interfere so the ref threw him to the back! RVD augured with the ref, but when he turned around Blackman nailed him with the Lethal Kick for the win!
As Steve tried to celebrate his victory Martin hit the ring again and hit Blackman with a big boot! Steve staggered as Martin hit him with a huge power bomb! Van Dam then tolled Martin to back up as he went to the top rope and hit the Five Star Frog Splash onto Steve! Van Dam then leans down and spits right into Blackman’s face! Van Dam kicks Steve once again before him and Martin proceed to leave the ring. Van Dam stops halfway on the rap and glances back at Blackman. He lets out a devilish smirk before he leaves the area with Andrew Martin!
Up next, the first ever Y.B.C.S.O.C.!
Break
We come back from a break to see a video package of Owen Hart, which ends with him beating Triple H last night to win the European Championship. Tonight Owen Hart takes on Goldust on the WAR ZONE!
The New Age Outlaws make their way out for the Y.B.C.S.O.C., which is accepted by Light Heavyweight Champion TAKA Michinoku and Bradshaw!
Y.B.C.S.O.C.; The New Age Outlaws(w/Chyna) def. TAKA Michinoku and Bradshaw The Outlaws put Bradshaw away following a Double Flapjack on the top rope.
Meanwhile, backstage, D-Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa are attacking Cactus Jack! D-Lo kicks Cactus in the guts and tries to hit a suplex on the floor, but Cactus fought out and unloaded shots on both men! He throws Kama into the garage wall, but then Mark Henry comes from behind and nails Cactus Jack right in the back of the head! D-Lo then proceeds to stomp on Cactus before picking up a chair and smacking him in the back with it multiple times! Henry then goes for a huge splash, but Cactus rolls out of the way! It’s just D-Lo and Cactus, and now Cactus picks up a steel pipe! D-Lo tries to hit him with the chair, but Cactus blocks it with the pipe! D-Lo drops the chair and he gets away from the scene, hands stinging, as Cactus throws a pipe at him! It misses, but Cactus look back at Kama and Mark and he simply says better luck next time! Raw goes off the air!
The pyro goes off as we are greeted by Good Old JR and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They run down that tonight Owen Hart takes on Goldust, and The Rock and D-Lo Brown take on King of the Ring winner Cactus Jack and the WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin! The theme of The Nation hits and obviously only The Rock and D-Lo Brown make their way out to the ring.
The Rock says that he is tired of all the games and he wants to cut right to the chase, so why doesn’t Faarooq drag his ass out here so they can settle this once and for all. Faarooq then proceeds to make his way out to the ring, but Rock continues to talk. He tells Faarooq how he dare throw The Rock into the wolves last night. No man should have to be thrown into the ring with a chair wielding Cactus Jack! Faarooq then asks how he dare slap him in the face and constantly mouth off to him? Faarooq then tells Rock maybe it’s finally time to shut your trap and put up your fists! Rock tells Faarooq that he better hope that Faarooq does not want to go one on one with the great Rock or he will get his ass handed to him! Faarooq then tells The Rock maybe he should actually start winning his matches alone before he starts calling him great! Rock then proceeds to just drop his microphone, and it seems like he’s going to leave the ring, but he turns around and kicks Faarooq in the gut! Rock then hits Faarooq with a huge DDT! D-Lo then goes up to the top and hits him with the Lo-Down! Rock then stalks a staggering Faarooq and hits him with a Rock Bottom! Rock and D-Lo leave Faarooq in the ring as they are greeted by wounded Kama Mustafa and Mark Henry. The four raise the fist on the stage as the War Zone goes to a break!
Break
A video promotes Fully Loaded, live on pay per view July 26th!
The Undertaker def. Savio Vega Savio made a rare War Zone appearance tonight, Vega got his shots in and actually had control of the match for a minute, but The Undertaker was able to put him away with a Tombstone before five minutes were up.
The Undertaker has hardly any time to celebrate as Vader, backed up by Vince McMahon made his way out to the ring! Undertaker met him on the ramp and the two started to trade fists! Taker got the upper hand, and fought Vader up the ramp, but Vader hit Undertaker with a low blow! Undertaker was staggering and Vader hit him with a power bomb, but didn’t let go! Vader then hit two more before finally letting go! Undertaker was down as Vader left with Vince!
Break
We come back to see a replay of Vader assaulting The Undertaker! JR questions on why did Vader attack The Undertaker?
The L.O.D. def. The New Midnight Express(w/Jim Cornette) VIA DQ The New Midnight Express were DQ’d when Cornette tripped Hawk from the outside.
The New Midnight Express tried to attack the Legion of Doom, but they ended up fighting back! Hawk and Animal pounded shot after shot into them until they threw them both over the top rope to the floor! Meanwhile, only Jim Cornette was left in the ring! Animal lifted him up as Hawk went to the top and they hit the Doomsday Deceive on Cornette! The crowd cheers as we go the back!
Backstage Kevin Kelly is standing by with the new European Champion, Owen Hart! Kelly congratulates Hart on his victory last night as Hart tells him thank you. He says that D-Generation-X has screwed him over for the past six months, but now finally he was able to make Hunter cry out in pain last night as he was in the sharpshooter! Before Owen can say anything else, Kurt Angle appears onto the screen! He tells Owen that he needs to stop thinking about DX. That he needs to focus on this man right here, your American hero, Kurt Angle! Kurt tells Owen that he is going to bring some American class to that title, and there is nothing he can do about it! Kurt pats Hart on the shoulder and tells him, good luck champ!
Break
An ad showcases the latest WWF T-Shirts. Get them now!
Owen Hart def. Goldust This was actually one of the best matches of the night. Hart was able to put Goldust away with the Sharpshooter!
Following the match, Kurt Angle stood on top of the ramp clapping for Owen Hart! He smirked as Owen pointed to Angle, we head backstage!
A pissed off Ken Shamrock is seen backstage with Triple H, Sean Waltman, and Chyna approaching him. Hunter and Waltman start to make jokes about Shamrock being hit in the head with a guitar by Jeff Jarrett earlier tonight. Shamrock doesn’t seem too pleased and he asks Hunter how does tapping out feel? Because if he doesn’t shut up, he’s going to be tapping out again! Hunter gets right in his face and says, “try me!” Shamrock smirks, but soon Waltman gets Hunter out of there. Hunter yells at Shamrock just try me as the War Zone goes to a break!
Stone Cold and Cactus Jack face The Nation of Domination up next!
Break
Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cactus Jack def. The Rock and D-Lo Brown(w/Kama Mustafa) Jack pinned D-Lo following a Stunner/Double Arm-DDT combination!
Following the match, the ref raises both men’s hand in victory, when Austin hits Cactus Jack with a huge stunner! The crowd pops until Kane’s pyro goes off on the stage! Austin looks up at the stage as Kane and Paul Bearer make their way down to the ring! Meanwhile, The Rock hits a huge spine buster on Austin in the ring! Kane finally gets in and picks Austin up before sending him back down with a huge Chokeslam! Vince McMahon appears on the stage and tells Austin that he will defend his championship against that man, Kane at Fully Loaded! Kane and Paul stand tall to end the show!

- Yes Austin vs Kane at Fully Loaded, I cannot wait, especially for the WWF Championship, Kane will become the next WWF Champion, you watch, but still now I am interested to see where this feud with Austin & Kane goes
- Vader attacking Taker, why? Why would Vader choose Taker to do it too, makes no sense to me at all, why would Vader go after him, especially with Vince too no less but I am also interested to see where it all goes
- Shamrock feuding with DX, love it
- Owen Hart feuding with Kurt Angle, over the European Championship, my dream feud coming true, and it is going to happen, I am so stoked especially since you're making it happen
- The Rock & D'Lo turning on Faarooq and then Kama & Henry greeting them afterwards, makes it official, Faarooq kicked out of his own group that he started, Rock becoming the new leader of The Nation, awesome move

He says that he plans to rid the WWF of un-talented foreign workers, like Owen Hart, who are stinking up the United Sates! Kurt says that is his sole mission as of right now and before he kicks Owen Hart’s worthless ass out of this country, he’s going to take his European Championship and try to bring to Integrity, Intensity, and Intelligence to that country!
Break

Too Much def. The Headbangers This with the match of the night for sure, and Too Much were able to put Headbanger Mosh away following an aided sitout powerbomb.
Up next D-Generation-X host their American Bash!
Break
D-Generation-X make their way out with Waltman still holding a sparkler to his crotch. The Outlaws are carrying a grill while Hunter is holding hotdogs and hamburgers. Chyna is holding the buns, oh my. There is a picnic table in the ring with an American Flag sticking out from it. The Outlaws set up the grill while Hunter places two hot dogs and four hamburgers on the grill. Also, Hunter is wearing an American DX style chef hat and apron. The Outlaws and Waltman start to play around with the sparklers as Triple H grabs a microphone and tells Chyna to put her buns next to her. Hunter says that he has four hamburgers on the grill for the male members of DX, while there are two wieners for Chyna and Ken Shamrock. As we all know Ken Shamrock loves those wieners! Suddenly, the theme song of Kurt Angle hits to the shock of D-Generation-X! Kurt asks DX how dare they host an American Bash and not invite your American Hero. Hunter apologizes to Angle and asks him what he’d like to eat. Angle says thank you and tells him he wants hot dog, but put it on a ham burger roll. DX looks at him funny and Angle asks, “What, you’ve never seen a hot dog on a ham burger roll?” Hunter tells Angle that they just don’t tend to look for those kinds of things. Then, theme song of Jeff Jarrett hits as he wakes his way out to the ring with Tennessee Lee! DX asks him what the hell is he doing out here and Jeff tells them you can’t have an American party without the National Anthem! And who better to sing it then Double J? Hunter shrugs and Jeff plays the National Anthem, but then the food is done! Hunter yells out”Shamrock! Come on out! Your wiener is ready!” DX and Jeff Jarrett begin to poke fun at Ken Shamrock when all of a sudden he hits the ring! Waltman goes on the ramp to stop him, but he just hits him with a huge Belly to Belly! Shamrock then grabs a chair and slides into the ring! The Outlaws charge, but they get creamed with chair shots! Angle and Hunter bail as Shamrock picks up the guitar and hits Jeff right in the head with it! DX and Angle back up the ramp as Shamrock raises his title and the American flag high in the air as HeAT goes off the air!

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 29th June 1998...Decent promo to kick off the show with Stone Cold Steve Austin coming to the ring to obviously discuss his WWF Championship defence against Vader last night. Looking forward to a feud with Cactus Jack perhaps, could be interesting. Basic set up for the main event. Jeff Jarrett beating Ken Shamrock is nice, didn't really see why Tennessee Lee came through the crowd when he's Shamrock's manager anyway. Liked how the finish went, the count out finish was nice. Jarrett using the guitar was nice, good start to the 'don't piss me off' gimmick. Marc Mero beating Tom Brandi is average, just to show that Mero and Jacqueline are now an item. I do like the idea of the Y.B.C.S. Open Challenge, was nice but took me about five minutes to understand what it was exactly. Steve Blackman beating Rob Van Dam is cool I suppose, liked Andrew Martin making the attack on Van Dam. TAKA Michinoku and Bradshaw is fair for the first contenders to the Y.B.C.S Open Challenge. Obvious that the New Age Outlaws would win though. Liked Cactus fighting off the Nation. The Rock's promo was solid to kick off the War Zone, liked how it became about Faarooq and Rock's feud as well, I expect a match between them at Fully Loaded. The Undertaker beating Savio Vega was very obvious. Vader going after 'Taker now is weird, I'll say that. Not sure if I like it. They've feuded too many times in the past two years. LOD 2000 with the win against the New Midnight Express should have been clean but I suppose you wanted to give Bob Holly and Bart Gunn a good bit of offence too. Owen Hart beating Goldust was for the better, Kurt Angle's push I'm not too sure about. Just can't see him fitting too well in this time period. Wait, Jarrett screws Shamrock and suddenly Shamrock has issues with D-Generation X? I don't quite get it. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cactus Jack were obviously going to beat The Rock and D-Lo Brown, nice opportunity for the Nation though. Liked Kane assaulting Austin and I see those two facing off at Fully Loaded. Not a bad show.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 5th July 1998...Not looking forward to the light heavyweight open for Fully Loaded really, it will be a rushjob and a slap in the face to the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship that once had prestige. Faarooq beating Kama Mustafa is a good start to Faarooq's feud with the Nation. I wonder if you decide to make Mustafa the Godfather. Terry Funk beating Dan Severn is awful; Severn is built like a credible fighting machine, this hurts Severn losing to Funk cleanly. Too Much beating the Headbangers accomplished something I suppose. Liked D-Generation X's promo with Ken Shamrock appearing. Not a bad episode overall, just some dodgy decisions made.

Wait, Jarrett screws Shamrock and suddenly Shamrock has issues with D-Generation X? I don't quite get it. I normally don't do this, but I just wanted to point out DX was making fun of Shamrock for what happened. All I can say is stay tuned, I guess.

WWF @ State College, PA - Bryce Jordan Center – July 6, 1998 Raw is War opens up with a video package of the events that took place last week between Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cactus Jack, The Nation of Domination, Vince McMahon, and Paul Bearer and Kane! The video ends with Kane standing tall to close out last week’s show.
The pyro goes off as we are greeted by JR and Michael Cole. They say that they have huge news regarding Fully Loaded, and that is there will be an Open Light Heavyweight Championship battle royal! The first person who gets a pin fall or submission will walk out the champion! As for tonight, The You Better Call Somebody Open Challenge continues and Jeff Jarrett teams up with Triple H to battle Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman! Meanwhile, The Undertaker will call out Vader on the War Zone! They are soon interrupted by the theme song of Vince McMahon and his goons!
Vince McMahon and his goons make their way out to the ring and Vince lets everyone know Vader is not out here because he needs to take care of business with The Undertaker tonight. Now, he just wants to cut to the chase and for those of you who missed it last week, here is Stone Cold’s number one contender, Kane! Kane and Paul Bearer make their way out to loud heat. Paul says that it’s been Kane’s dream since he was a little boy to be the WWF Champion. Paul says that it broke himself down inside because he thought Kane would never make it to the WWF, but he did! And now, he’s going to destroy Stone Cold Steve Austin and take the WWF Championship! Suddenly, they are interrupted by the theme song of Stone Cold Steve Austin! Austin makes his out to the ring and tells them Kane to keep on dreaming because this is the closet he will ever get to his WWF Championship belt. Austin says that it will take any means necessary, but Stone Cold will walk out of Fully Loaded with the WWF Championship! Vince then yells at Austin no that will not happen! He is tired of Austin’s games that allow him to walk out with that title! So at Fully Loaded, he will be the special guest referee! The crowd boos, but then the theme song of Cactus Jack hits! Cactus also gets in the ring and says that he knows Vince wants to be the ref so he can screw Austin! So he is volunteering himself to become the Special Guest ref! Vince then yells at Cactus, “You went to be the special guest referee? Fine, you can, if you can beat Kane in a hardcore match tonight!” The crowd pops as Paul Bearer looks worried! Cactus turns to Austin before telling him to watch himself! Cactus then leaves the ring as Raw goes to a break!
Break
We come back from a break to see TAKA Michinoku and Bradshaw standing at ringside for out next match.
Too Much def. Scorpio and Aguila In a rematch from Sunday Night HeAT eight days ago, Too Much was able to put Scorpio and Aguila away this time!
After the match Too Much get on microphones and they tall TAKA that at Fully Loaded, one of them is walking away with the Light Heavyweight Championship!
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with The Nation of Domination. He asks them is The Rock now their leader? Rock snatches the microphone and tells Kevin he sure is the leader of The Nation now, and they will go to much greater success than they ever did with Faarooq in charge! Now, at Fully Loaded Rock has a special challenge for Faarooq. He says that it’s time that they settle this once and for all, and they what have to take place at Fully Loaded. How about Faarooq goes one on one with the great Rock, and may the better man win, which obviously is The Rock.
Break
We return from a break to see “Marvelous” Marc Mero making his way out to the ring with Jacqueline
Marc Mero(w/Jacqueline) def. 8-Ball Mero picked up another win tonight after hitting 8-Ball with the TKO!
Following the match Mero gets on the microphone and says that people need to start taking him seriously. This is the second week in the row he has dominated his unworthy opponent, and now, with Jacqueline by his sides, he will reach to greater success then he could ever reached to before! And that’s something Sable would never be able to do! Mero and Jacqueline laugh and kiss in the ring before leaving.
Faarooq versus D-Lo Brown is up next!
Break
Faarooq def. D-Lo Brown(w/The Nation) On Sunday Night HeAT Faarooq battled Kama Mustafa to gain a victory. Tonight he was able to do the same after dodging the Lo-Down and hitting D-Lo win the Dominator!
After the match Faarooq gets on the microphone and he says he’ll see the Rock at Fully Loaded, because he accepts! Rock then gets in the ring and confronts him, but then Kama and Mark hit Faarooq form behind! They begin to stomp the boots into Faarooq, but Rock then tells them to back off as he hits the People’s Elbow! Rock then sizes Faarooq up and hits a huge Rock Bottom! The Nation stand tall over Faarooq again as Raw goes to a black screen.
Backstage Steve Austin is looking for Cactus Jack when he suddenly appears behind him! Austin realizes this and asks Cactus what the hell did he mean by, “Watch yourself Austin?” Cactus chuckles at this before patting Austin at on the back, but Austin throws Jack’s arm off of him and says don’t touch me and he once again yells at Cactus what the hell did he mean. Cactus just tells Austin to watch himself again before walking off!
Break
We come back to the theme of none other than The New Age Outlaws. They do their usual routine and Road Dogg announces this is officially week two of the You Better Call Somebody Open Challenge! Gunn then says that he wants any two people that think they can even step foot in the ring with Bad Ass Billy Gunn and Road Dogg Jesse James to come out now! Their challenge is answered by Skull and 8-Ball!
Y.B.C.S.O.C.: The New Age Outlaws def. Skull and 8-Ball Gunn pinned 8-Ball following a double flap jack on the rope.
Following the match Ken Shamrock rushes down to the ring! He throws Billy Gunn over the top rope and gives a belly to belly suplex to Road Dogg right out of the ring! The rest of DX meet The Outlaws on the ramp as Shamrock yells at them to get in the ring! Triple H tells Shamrock on his time as Raw goes off the air!
The pyro goes off and we are greeted JR and King. They say that tonight Undertaker calls out Vader and Kane faces Cactus Jack in a hardcore match, where if Cactus wins, he will become the referee for Kane versus Stone Cold Steve Austin! They are then cut off by the theme of The Undertaker, which the crowd pops too!
The Undertaker makes his way out to the ring and says that last week Vader decided to attack him following his match. He says that he does not know why Vader would do this, but he knows something that Vader does not know! For whatever reason it might be, it does not matter, because all Vader has done is open up the gates of hell! And once you walk in those gates, they shut behind you, and when those chills creep throughout your spine, you realize, YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT. The crowd pops, but then Vader makes his way out to the ring! Vader tells The Undertaker that there are multiple reasons why he attacked him last week, but why does The Undertaker need to know? Why do all these people need to know? The only thing you need to know, Undertaker, is that I’m going to take you out of the World Wrestling Federation! Forever! Vader then bashes the microphone into Undertaker’s head! Vader stomps on Undertaker in the corner until he backs up the other side of the ring and charges at The Undertaker. He connects with a huge knee to the head! Undertaker is staggering in the ring, and Vader goes for a powerbomb, but Undertaker slips out, and puts Vader in a chokehold! He lifts Vader up and slams him down with a huge chokeslam. The crowd cheers, but it does not keep Vader down! As Undertaker is walking back up the ramp, Vader hits him from behind. Vince then stands on top of the stage as Vader takes a chair and assaults The Undertaker with it! Undertaker tries to use the guardrail to get himself up as Vader and Vince proceed to leave. The two had a stare down as Shamrock got up! He took them both down with a huge clothesline! He threw Jeff out of the ring as Hunter got out! Shamrock raised his title high in the air! Can Jarrett or DX stop Shamrock?
Break
We return from a break to the theme song of Kurt Angle. Angle says that for the past week he’s said he wants to bring some American class to the European Championship. He says that he pities that country for having a champion like Owen Hart. He says he is going to do Europe a favor and make them all proud to be Europeans! So he has a very special challenge for Owen Hart tonight. He says that he wants Owen Hart to face your American Hero in the ring tonight, and if Angle wins, he wants a title match at Fully Loaded! Owen Hart then makes his way out to the ring and tells Angle he’s on! Now let’s get a ref out here!
Kurt Angle def. Owen Hart This was the best pure wrestling match on the show. Angle countered the Sharpshooter into a small package for the three!
A video hypes up Fully Loaded, Live on pay per view July 26th!
Break

Backstage Triple H is demanding with Sgt. Slaughter that he does something about Ken Shamrock. Slaughter tells Triple H he will, so next week it will be Ken Shamrock versus Triple H! Hunter tells Slaughter that’s not what he had in mind when Lee and Jarrett walked and asked why Triple H is getting a match with Ken Shamrock. After all, he was the one that beat him last week! Hunter tells Jeff that he won by count-out, and doesn’t deserve a title match more than he does. Slaughter then says Triple H is right, so next week we will see who deserves to be it more. Instead of Ken Shamrock versus Triple H, it will be Triple H versus Jeff Jarrett with Ken Shamrock as the special guest referee! Now get out of my office!
Up next, Cactus Jack versus Kane in a Hardcore Match!

YOU WANT TO HIT ME WITH A CHAIR? YOU WANT TO FACE ME? WELL GUESS WHAT, NEXT WEEK; IT WILL BE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN VERSUS VINCE MCMAHON!” The crowd goes crazy as Stone Cold looks more than pleased! Austin looks back at Cactus who has a devilish smirk on his face! He reminds Austin to watch himself, as Vince is furious on the ramp! Austin can’t help but smile even after what Cactus said, next week it’s Vince McMahon versus Stone Cold Steve Austin!

-A big announcement and the WWF Championship Match looks solid. Mick as special referee adds to the excitement. -Too Much over Scorpio and Aguilla was the best way to go I guess. Rather new to the WWF stuff, so don't know either team. -"Wildman" Marc Mero is one of the main superstars I have come to know, so him winning was best in my opinion. -Faarooq is getting a decent push in this diary and I like it. Keep it up. -I love that Angle and Hart battled. I like the feud between Shamrock and DX/Jarrett. Good second hour so far. -Cold and McMahon is going to be great. Great ending to the show, and I'm looking forward to next week. -Good show.

-Too Much over Scorpio and Aguilla was the best way to go I guess. Rather new to the WWF stuff, so don't know either team. Too Much went on to become Too Cool and Brian Christopher went to being Grand Master Sexay while Scott Taylor became Scotty 2 Hotty.

Too Much winning is good. Can't wait for the Lightweight Open. Hopefully, a few surprises are in there. Happy we're finally getting Farooq/Rock. A Mero push is great. Farroq winning is good. Looks like he's going through the Nation until The Rock. Outlaws winning is good. 8-Ball with two matches, is interesting. Hopefully, Vader wins this whole thing against Taker. Good tag match. Not a fan of Blackman's involvement. Don't take him seriously. I wanna see Shamrock/Jarrett/Hunter in a triple threat. Would've preferred Owen to win but a great match nonetheless. L.O.D. winning is good. Really liking that tag division. Cactus winning is good. Austin/McMahon should be good.
Overall, really good show. Can't wait for Fully Loaded. I see Edge debuting and winning the Lightweight Open. Hart/Angle should be great, as well.
