Hopefully, NME beat L.O.D. tonight. I would like to see a small, Heat exclusive feud between the teams. The Nation winning is good. Like I've said, not that big a fan of Skull & 8-Ball. TAKA winning is good. Making him look ready for his title rematch. L.O.D. winning is fine, I suppose. Would've preferred the NME to get the win. Hart getting the win is good. Like the fact that Jarrett came out. I really like the way you set up PPV matches on Heat instead of using it just as a mid-carder filled show.

WWF @ San Diego, CA; Sports Arena – August 3, 1998
Raw is War opens with a video highlighting last week’s events with Stone Cold defending his title against Kane successfully in a Steel Cage match. It then follows it with Austin trapping Vince in the cage until Cactus Jack saved him before locking Austin in with the Mandible Claw.
The pyro goes off as we are greeted by Jim Ross and Michael Cole for Raw. They hype that tonight we see Ken Shamrock battle D-Generation-X member Sean Waltman, the leader of the Nation of Domination, The Rock will take on Terry Funk, and also, Vince McMahon will be interviewed about the World Wrestling Federation Championship match that will take place at Summerslam between the champion, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and the King of the Ring winner, Cactus Jack! We are then interrupted by the theme of Cactus Jack, who comes out to about seventy-five percent cheers and twenty-five percent boos.
Cactus mentions how some people have started to boo him and question his actions against one Stone Cold Steve Austin the past few weeks. Cactus says they should not be booing him, because deep down inside he is still Mick Foley. He is still the man that is out here to entertain the fans. Yet, last month Stone Cold brought out his “vicious” side. Last month after a tag team victory of the Nation of Domination, Steve Austin attacked him simply because he is a threat to his WWF Championship. He says that Austin is simply worried, and is trying to get the upper hand, but you cannot get the upper hand over Mick Foley, especially when it’s the hardcore Cactus Jack that you are dealing with. Before Cactus can say more, Stone Cold makes is way out to a huge ovation! Austin tells him that he has to be out his damn crazy mind to think Stone Cold Steve Austin is afraid of anybody on this planet. Six months ago Stone Cold stood across from Mike Tyson, and flipped him off in front of the entire world. Then, at Over the Edge he defeated three of the toughest and meanest men on the planet in one match! Then, just two weeks ago, he was wiping the floor with his bosses’ face. So if you think Stone Cold Steve Austin is afraid of anybody, then you are out of your damn mind, and come Summerslam, I’ll show that you should be afraid of Stone Cold Steve Austin once I’m done whooping your ass all over Madison Square Garden!
Cheers suddenly turn to boos as The New Age Outlaw interrupt the two. Road Dogg talks about how for the past month these two wannabes have tried to prove how the best in the world really is. Well, the answer is right in front of you boys, and that is your WWF Tag Team Champions, “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn and “The Road Dogg” Jesse James! Then, week in, and week out, they have defeated team after team after team and no one can beat them! In fact, they even kicked Cactus’ fat ass four months ago! Austin then tells Road Dogg that maybe they should shut their traps, because the only two D-Generation-X members he hasn’t opened up a can of whoop ass on are these two clowns. He asks the crowd to give him a “Hell Yeah” if they want to see Stone Cold Steve Austin open up a can of whoops ass on The New Age Outlaws! The crowd shouts “Hell Yeah!” as Austin drops the microphone and takes Gunn over the top rope! Road Dogg and Austin go at it until Gunn gets back in the ring and jumps Austin! The two champions start to beat down on Austin, but Cactus Jack comes in with his barbed wire baseball bat! The Outlaws scram as Cactus swings it around. Cactus grabs a microphone and says that tonight, Austin and him accept the You Better Call Somebody Open Challenge! Cactus winks at Austin who is stunned for the first time in his life!
Break
Backstage Kevin Kelly catches up with WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. Kevin asks him if he could get his reaction to what just happened. Austin says that tonight he doesn’t give a damn that he has to team with Cactus Jack. Because tonight all he is thinking about is being the World Wrestling Federation, drinking a beer, and whooping The New Age Outlaws asses all over the arena! I don’t care if it’s Mick Foley, Cactus Jack, Mankind, or Dude Love, because tonight Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to whoop some ass, and come Summerslam he’ll walk with his World Wrestling Federation title. And that’s the bottom line, coz Stone Cold Said So!
Two replays are shown, first with Jeff Jarrett becoming number one contender last week, and then him attacking Owen Hart on Sunday Night HeAT.
Owen Hart & Faarooq def. Jeff Jarrett & Dan Severn(w/Tennessee Lee) In a hot opening bout, Hart picked up the win after hitting a Piledriver on Severn.
Owen Hart and Faarooq celebrated their win as Jeff and Lee were fuming on the outside. Jeff yelled at Owen that come Summerslam he was going to take his title!
Break
We come back from a break as Light Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio makes his way out. He takes a seat near the announcers table as TAKA Michinoku and Scorpio make their respected entrances.
TAKA Michinoku(w/Bradshaw) def. Scorpio In a high-flying bout, TAKA picked up the win following the Michinoku Driver on Scorpio.
After the match Mysterio slides into the ring and stands across from TAKA, Rey holds his title high up in the air until Too Much come out. They brag about how they are the best Lightweights in the WWF and they should be competing for the title at Summerslam, not these two losers. Eventually their mouth gets them into trouble as TAKA and Mysterio take them down! TAKA and Rey then try to one-up each other, as Mysterio hits the spring board Hurricanrana on Taylor sending him flying out of the ring, while TAKA hits Brian with a Michinoku Driver! Mysterio gives TAKA a nod of respect before leaving the ring.
Up next, Vince McMahon will be interviewed about the WWF Title match at Summerslam!
Get the latest T-Shirts at WWF.ATTITUDE.COM now!
Break
We come back to see Vince McMahon making his way out to the ring, where Michael Cole is. The goons are also following Vince out to the ring. Cole proceeds to ask Vince his thoughts on the WWF title match at Summerslam. Vince tells Cole it will be one of the darkest moments in wrestling history. As come Summerslam, he will have to watch his company die, when two men like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley are leading it. Vince says that no matter who wins the title match at Summerslam, it could only mean disaster for this company. For months now Vince says he has been trying to get someone, someone honorable enough to lead a global company. And Cactus Jack or Stone Cold are not the men to do that. Vince says that he still has faith in this company, because sooner or later the dark ages will be over. Now let me introduce to you someone who could lead this company, Kane! Kane’s pyro goes off as he comes out for his match.
Kane(w/Paul Bearer) def. Chainz In a decent match where Chainz got some offense in as well, Kane finish him off with a Chokeslam.
Up next, The Rock versus Terry Funk!
Break
We come back to Raw is War with a video hyping up Summerslam, featuring Stone Cold, Cactus Jack, Vince McMahon, Kane, Vader, Owen Hart, Ken Shamrock, DX, The Rock, and The Undertaker. The video is played to AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”
The Rock(w/The Nation of Domination) def. Terry Funk This was a decent match to close out the first hour. In the end The Rock took out Funk with a Rock Bottom.
After the match The Nation pose in the ring, but suddenly the lights go out! Undertaker can be seen on the Titantron as he tells The Nation that last week they made the biggest mistake of their lives. Last week they opened the up the Gates of Hell, and now, they will not close until he takes them all down, one, by, one! The lights come back on as Undertaker is no longer seen on the Titantron. Rock simply laughs at Taker’s message, but the lights go out again! Lighting strikes the stage as the lights come back on, and The Undertaker is in the ring! The crowd is going crazy as Taker throws D-Lo over the top rope! Rock escapes the ring as Henry tries his luck, but Undertaker only throws him over the top as well! Kama charges at Taker, who catches him before hitting the Chokeslam! The crowd is going nuts as Undertaker picks Kama up again and hits the Tombstone! The rest of The Nation of Domination back up the ramp as Taker stares them down from the ring.
We are greeted by JR and King who hype up that tonight, on The War Zone, it will be The New Age Outlaws defending the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team titles against bitter rivals Stone Cold and Cactus Jack!
Ken Shamrock def. Sean Waltman(w/Triple H and Chyna) This was a great way to kick off this hour, and it ended with Shamrock locking in the Ankle Lock after catching Sean in the middle of a dropkick!
Shamrock had no time to celebrate as Hunter jumped in the ring and attacked Shamrock. Triple H put the boots into Shamrock before Sean got back up and joined in. Sean held him up in the corner as Triple H worked on the mid section. They finally stopped as Hunter told Chyna to grab him a chair. Chyna handed Sean a chair, who passed it to Hunter who drilled Shamrock in the head with it! Triple H then threw the chair to the ground, but he grabbed Shamrock by the arms. He smirked before hitting the pedigree onto the chair. Hunter then whispered into Shamrock’s ear that he just an “uncrowned” champion, and sooner than later, he’ll have the Intercontinental Championship.
Break
We come back and Michael Cole is with Rob Van Dam and Andrew Martin. Cole asks Van Dam about the whole situation with Al Snow and Steve Blackman. Van Dam tells Cole that the whole thing is just a bunch of bull crap. First, Steve Blackman gets two fluke wins on me. Then, that piece of crap Al Snow and that stupid Head cost him his match at Fully Loaded. Then, Slaughter doesn’t do a damn thing about it? Van Dam tells Cole that tonight, Martin and himself, they are going to take care of business, and end Snow and Head’s career before they even get off the ground.
A replay plays of Edge’s debut last week.
Marc Mero(w/Jacqueline) def. Edge VIA DQ In a rematch from last week, Edge was disqualified after he snapped and hit Mero with the ring bell!
After the match Edge had no intentions of stopping and he went for another shot, but the ref took the bell from him! Edge was irate, so he kicked the ref in the head! The referee went down as Mero was back up, and he hit Edge with a low blow! Edge dropped to his knees, but when Mero went charging off the ropes, Edge speared him down! Edge pounded on Mero, but Jacqueline jumped in the ring, until Sable ran out and a cat fight ensued! All hell broke loose as Mero escaped from the ring and pulled Jacqueline out of the fight! Mero carried her off as Sable offered Edge a handshake, but he smirked at it before leaving the ring.
Still to come, tonight, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cactus Jack challenge for the WWF Tag Team Championships against The New Age Outlaws!
Break
We return to the War Zone with Al Snow and Head making their way out to the ring.
Al Snow(w/Head) def. Andrew Martin(w/Rob Van Dam) The ending came when Rob Van Dam distracted the ref, trying to help Martin, but instead Snow nailed Martin with Head! Steve Blackman then came out and pulled Van Dam off of the apron! Snow covered for the three!
Snow and Head celebrated the victory as the crowd popped. Snow gives Head the thumbs up as Steve Blackman comes into the ring. He raises Snow’s hand in victory, but Snow quickly draws away. The two look at each funny for a second, but then Al Snow plants Steve with a hug. Steve quickly pushed him off to the crowd’s delight. Snow then raises Steve’s hand before letting go and celebrating on the top rope with Head. Blackman looks at Snow funny before leaving the ring.
We see Stone Cold Steve Austin walking backstage, the main event is up next!
Break
We come back as The New Age Outlaws coming out to the ring, without a doubt, looking cockier than ever. The glass shatters as Austin makes his way out to another huge ovation from the San Diego crowd here tonight. As Austin gets in the ring, Dude Love’s theme song hits to the confusion of everybody! Love actually makes his way out to a pop from the crowd. He starts talking about how as a tag team you need to work together, and you need to love. So tonight, former tag team champions Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dude Love reunite for one night only!
Y.B.C.S.O.C.: The New Age Outlaws(w/Chyna) def. Stone Cold Steve Austin & Dude Love The crowd was into this one as it seemed like more than once Austin and Love would walk away with the tag team titles. In the end, Austin and Love finally couldn’t co-exist anymore as Love hit Austin with the Double Arm-DDT behind the ref’s back! James covered for the three!
The Outlaws are handed their titles as Chyna comes in the ring to celebrate with them. Triple H also comes out to celebrate with the rest of D-Generation-X, minus Waltman. Austin suddenly gets back up with a chair as DX proceeds to leave the ring. Gunn hits Austin with the crotch chop, but Austin is too busy yelling out Dude Love, who winks at Austin to close the show!

Good opening promo. Hope the NAO get the win tonight and continue on with the YBCSOC at Summerslam. Hart & Faarooq winning is good. I would like to see Hart retain at Summerslam. Happy to see TAKA get the win. Really makes him look good heading into Summerslam. Looks to be Too Cool versus TAKA & Rey, next week. Good promo from Vince. I can see him making Kane the special enforcer for Austin/Cactus. Kane winning is fine. It got him over nicely. Glad to see Rock get the win. Makes sense, as well. Looks like it is going to be Rock/Taker at Summerslam. Shamrock winning is for the best. Would like to see Triple H take it from him at Summerslam, though you've done a great job of building up Shamrock as a credible champion. Happy to see Mero actually get the win. Don't really care under what circumstances, HE WON! Looks to be Sable/Edge versus Mero/Jacqueline at Summerslam. Would've preferred to see Martin get the win. Possibly, Martin/RVD versus Head Cheese at Summerslam. Couldn't be happier to see NAO get the win. Love the fact it was Dude Love. I liked the way Love screwed Austin out of the match.
Overall, really good show. Summerslam is shaping up to be one of the best cards you've had. Your diary is one that I can't stop reading. I just want you to upload everything at once. You're super.

RAW is WAR, great opening, and I see Stone Cold and Cactus Jack picking up the victory somehow, only to explode afterwards. A good victory for Owen Hart and Farooq, and I hope Hart retains at SummerSlam. TAKA Michinoku over Scorpio is for the best, and then the failed run-in by Too Much adds to it the respect aspect of this Light Heavyweight feud. Obvious victory for Kane here, hope you have some big things planned for him. Glad that The Rock went over Terry Funk, and this feud with The Undertaker is getting interesting, can't wait to see what you have planned. Happy to see Ken Shamrock defeat Sean Waltman, and I hope he keeps the Intercontinental Championship. Marc Mero going over Edge via DQ was alright, don't understand Edge snapping though. Al Snow over Andrew Martin is good, but the aftermath made zero sense to me... were those typos or what? Love the addition of Dude Love, only to turn on Austin in the end. Overall, a good show. Just a few things I didn't understand.

Also, for Edge, when he debuted in 1998 he was a pretty crazy character, and ended someone's career in his first match. Thanks for pointing out the typos.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 27th July 1998...Decent opening promo to kick off RAW, liked how Vince McMahon slandered the main event to Fully Loaded last night. Stone Cold Steve Austin's involvement was nice, a steel cage match for the WWF Championship is intense. Should be interesting. Jeff Jarrett beating Faarooq, Sean Waltman and Terry Funk...very thrown together match to kick off the show in the ring. Big but, should have been better thought out. Jarrett and Owen Hart is something I am also doing later in my diary. Too Much, such an underestimated team. Rey Mysterio Jr beating Brian Christopher was expected though, decent bout. You have so many decent teams to work with in this period, it's brilliant. Al Snow beating Rob Van Dam was a decent match, but you gave Snow his contract way too easily. Should have tried run it into SummerSlam. Steve Blackman and RVD is obviously the main focus here though. The Undertaker would have squashed Kurt Angle in this time period, wasn't buying it. Undertaker and the Nation feud? I wish there was actually some purpose to 'Taker's rivalries. His feud with Vader was senseless other than he wanted to get to Vince, and now he's ticked off at the Rock? Should be a good SummerSlam headlining feud though. Triple H's promo was nice, smart idea to use Billy Gunn to team with Hunter against Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman, with Road Dogg being injured. Hunter with the win is good. I expect Shamrock against Triple H at SummerSlam. Marc Mero and Jacqueline's promo was good, did like the way you debuted Edge. Should have spared Mero and Edge for HeAT or next week though, would have gotten more of a draw out of it. Uneven hours, RAW being better than the War Zone. Stone Cold Steve Austin beating Kane is a solid main event, did like Cactus Jack's assault. A solid show overall, very enjoyable.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 2nd August 1998...D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry kicking off the show is fine, beating the Disciples of the Apocalypse. It made the Nation look slightly more credible against the Undertaker, but I expect Rock to get the fluke win over 'Taker whilst the Nation are lackeys. TAKA Michinoku beating Scott Taylor is nice, I'm liking how Michinoku and Rey Mysterio Jr have some coincidental matches, both men facing Too Much this week. A match between the two at SummerSlam would be good, but at the same time be ripped to shreds by time limits. The Legion of Doom beating the New Midnight Express is expected. Bob Holly and Bart Gunn haven't proved much to me. Lastly, decent main event with Owen Hart beating Dan Severn after involvement from Jeff Jarrett. Not too bad a show, just more match orientated as opposed to the usual promo fest.

WWF @ San Diego, CA; Sports Arena – August 9, 1998
After the pyro goes off we are greeted by Jim Ross and Shane McMahon. They hype that tonight we will see The Nation in more tag team action against The Legion of Doom, and Rob Van Dam will take on Steve Blackman in our main event! But up next, The Hardy Brothers make their debut!
The Hardy Brothers come out in purple tights with the blond having his name on it, Jeff Hardy, and the one with long black hair has “Matt Hardy” on it. The crowd isn’t too sure how to react to them, but they slap the fans hands as they come down the ramp.
Too Much def. The Hardy Brothers This was a solid match and the crowd really got behind The Hardy Brothers with their high flying move set. Christopher ended up stealing the win after moving from a leg drop from Matt Hardy and rolling him up with using the ropes for leverage!
Too Much celebrate their win before bragging about being the best lightweights in the WWF. They says that they are coming for Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku, but suddenly the Hardy Brothers dropkick them out of the ring! Too Much fumes as the crowd cheers for The Hardys.
Break
We come back to see a video hyping Raw is War. It shows the opening segment with The New Age Outlaws attacking Steve Austin, only for Cactus to come to the aid and accept the Y.B.C.S.O.C. with Austin! It then shows Austin saying it doesn’t matter who he teams with, and Dude Love coming out! Finally, it ends with Foley screwing Austin out of the match and winking at Austin from the stage.
A replay is shown of Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku fending off Too Much with Bradshaw on Raw is War.
Before are next match, Bradshaw and TAKA Michinoku made their way out. Bradshaw exclaimed that he and TAKA have been going through some country training to prepare for his match at Summerslam, where he will reclaim his Light Heavyweight championship, and it doesn’t mean a damn how much respect he has for Rey Mysterio! Bradshaw says they are just going to take a seat out here much like Mysterio did on Raw!
Rey Mysterio def. Goldust This was a good match, but it came to an end with Mysterio putting Goldust away with a Springboard Hurricanrana.
After the match Bradshaw and TAKA came in the ring as TAKA handed Mysterio his title. Bradshaw tells Mysterio to enjoy it while you can as Rey and TAKA don’t take their eyes off of each other.
Break
A video hyping up Summerslam is played, featuring Stone Cold, Cactus Jack, Vince McMahon, Kane, Vader, Owen Hart, Ken Shamrock, DX, The Rock, and The Undertaker. The video is played to AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”
Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown def. The Legion of Doom VIA Count out This wasn’t a bad match, but it quickly turned to a brawl on the outside with D-Lo and Hawk being the legal men. As the ref was a count of seven, Mark threw Animal into the steel rings steps as D-Lo threw Hawk into the ring post! The slid into the ring as the ref counted to ten!
The crowd boos as The Legion of Doom try to regroup outside. D-Lo taunts the crowd from the top rope as the screen fades to black.
Up next, Rob Van Dam takes on Steve Blackman!
Break
We come back from break as Rob Van Dam and Andrew Martin are making their way out to the ring.
Rob Van Dam(w/Andrew Martin) def. Steve Blackman(w/Al Snow and Head) These two locked up again as Van Dam got the win this time as Van Dam took Blackman out with a spinning heel kick and a Five Star Frog Splash.
After the match Al Snow and Head came to check on Blackman, but Martin punted Head out of the ring! Snow seemed extremely worried as he jumped to the outside to check on Head. He tried to give Head mouth to mouth as Martin picked up Blackman and hit a pump-handle slam! Blackman was down as Martin raised Van Dam onto his shoulders. Van Dam taunted as Snow gave Head CPR to close out the show!

Haha, the (re?) debut of the Hardys! Kind of obvious that Too Much picks up the victory. No reason to put the Hardys over with Too Much being so dominant. Youve got Mysterio? That's cool. Guess he's gonna be a big time player in the LHvy Division. Good to see the LOD not losing cleanly to Mark and DLo. Haha, Al giving Head...CPR sounds pretty funny. I'm going to try to keep up with this diary, man.

Happy to see Too Much get the win. I would like to see Too Much/Mysterio/TAKA in a four-way at Summerslam. Mysterio winning is kinda obvious. I like the fact that the Lightweights are being showcased here on Heat. Glad the Nation got the win, here. With that kind of finish, I can easily see a rematch next week. Happy to see RVD win tonight. Not that big a fan of Blackman. Loved the fact that Snow gave Head, CPR. Shows how much he loves that thing.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 3rd August 1998...Cactus Jack kicking off the show is a nice beginning, explaining his action for last week's steel cage match. Looking forward to the idea of Stone Cold Steve Austin facing Cactus Jack at SummerSlam, hopefully no gimmicks, other than maybe no disqualifications and no count outs. The New Age Outlaws coming between them is good, and a nice return for Road Dogg. Finally a decent YBCS challenge. Good opening contest with Owen Hart and Faarooq beating Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn, piecing together two feuds. Anyways, TAKA Michinoku beating Scorpio is a nice contest, liked how it referred to my feud between the two last Spring. The aftermath was pretty cool, please don't let TAKA and Rey Mysterio Jr come into contact with each other until SummerSlam. Too Much being between them is a brilliant move in my opinion. Vince McMahon's interview was entertaining. Chainz with offence? Why? He's useless in 1998. Obvious Kane win. The Rock beating Terry Funk was a good first-hour main event. And lastly, great idea for the Undertaker to decimate the Nation, the Rock narrowly avoiding 'Taker. Again, ensure that 'Taker doesn't get his hands on Rock until SummerSlam. More effect. Also if 'Taker can destroy the Nation, you need to start building their characters for sure. You had "Sexual Chocolate", the Godfather and the obnoxious midcard D-Lo Brown at this point, not Mark, Kama and nobody Brown. Weak opening hour. Ken Shamrock and Sean Waltman had a good match, good idea for this to open the second hour too. Shamrock obvious to win this. Looking forward to the feud between Triple H and Shamrock to conclude at SummerSlam. Don't mind these two brawling honestly. Marc Mero beating Edge isn't a bad match, liked the disqualification finish. At least Edge wasn't on the generic winning streak. Al Snow beating Andrew Martin is unbelievable at this time I feel. Wasn't bad but, Martin needs something. And if Al can beat Rob Van Dam but not Martin, RVD's bodyguard...something's wrong. And lastly, nice main event, Dude Love eh? Good reunion of former WWF Tag Team Champions. Overall, a weak show. I feel you're focusing more on SummerSlam build than show quality, you were in the Monday Night Wars at this time, stuff like this would not have gone down that well against Monday Nitro. Show quality and pay-per-view hype has to be equal.
WWF Sunday Night HeAT: Sunday 9th August 1998...Good start for the Hardy Boyz, Too Much beating them is a good call. Nothing too special. Matt and Jeff starting in the light heavyweight division would be dynamite. Just avoid pushing them near the WWF Tag Team Championship until 1999. Rey Mysterio Jr beating Goldust...what the hell is Goldust doing? Didn't like this. I know Rey is WWF Light Heavyweight Champion but, Goldust was still a hell of a lot more over than Goldust. I didn't feel Bradshaw was necessary here. He's useless in this light heavyweight feud. Give him something else to do. Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown beating LOD 2000 was interesting, bland finish that didn't do too much for me. LOD need to get on RAW. D-Lo and Mark need their characters progressing. If Undertaker can destroy these two, so can LOD in a matter of logic. And lastly, weak main event, Rob Van Dam beating Steve Blackman is fine I suppose. Al's involvement and then giving Head CPR was brilliant though. Overall, not your best episode of HeAT, you need a stronger main event.

8/10/98; Omaha, NE; Civic Auditorium
Raw is War opens up with a video package of the Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cactus Jack confrontation being interrupted by the New Age Outlaws. It skips ahead to the main event where Mick Foley comes out as Dude Love and screws Austin out of the tag titles. It ends with Austin looking pissed as Dude Love winked at him from the stage.
As the pyro kicks off we are greeted by Jim Ross and Michael Cole. They hype up that tonight Stone Cold Steve Autin wants Cactus Jack in the middle of the ring, one way or another! We are the interrupted by none other than the WWF Champion himself.
Stone Cold comes out, pissed, with his title in one hand. He wastes no time in snatching the microphone. He talks about how last week Mick Foley decided to play some games with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin says that only game he plays is count how many times he can whoop your ass across the arena! The crowd pops as Austin says he wants Mick Foley to drag his sorry ass out here, and he doesn’t give a damn if it’s Cactus Jack, Mankind, or Dude Love! Austin waits for a couple of seconds and there is no response. He says that if he doesn’t come out here right now, Stone Cold Steve Austin will go back there, drag him out here, stomp a mud hole in him, and walk it dry! Austin is caught off guard as Vince McMahon’s theme hits over the PA system! Vince tells Stone Cold that he is lucky that he even still has a job after the stunt he pulled two weeks ago! Stone Cold smirks as he remembers having Vince trapped in the cage before saying if he could he’d love to go back two weeks ago and actually give Vince the as whooping he deserved then! Vince doesn’t seem pleased and he tells Austin that he is a disgrace to this company! The fact that Austin and Cactus Jack are facing each other for the WWF title is putting the nail in the coffin! Vince says that a man like Kane should represent this company! Austin fires back by saying that he beat Kane’s dead ass in the ring two nights in a row, and every other single piece of crap that McMahon has thrown at him this year! Vince tells Austin to shut up, because tonight Vince McMahon is officially done with Stone Cold! And if there’s anybody else other than himself, Cactus Jack, and Kane, it’s D-Generation X! So tonight, he will face Triple H in the main event, with no rules! So if DX wants to beat down on Austin, they are allowed! Vince leaves the ring as Austin has a smirk on his face. Jim Ross notes that Vince McMahon is doing everything in his power to rid the WWF of Austin, and now he has even turned to DX!!
Break
We come back with a replay of what transpired before the break. JR and Cole announced that Vince McMahon has also added Cactus Jack versus Ken Shamrock for tonight!
A replay is shown of Jeff Jarrett and Dan Severn being topped by European Champion Owen Hart and Faarooq last week. Jeff Jarrett and Tennessee Lee come out as Lee introduces us to the next European Champion, “Double J”, Jeff Jarrett!
Jeff Jarrett(w/Tennessee Lee) def. Faarooq Their mini-feud continues tonight as Jeff was able to pick up the win on Faarooq after the Stroke!
Following the match Dan Severn approaches the ring with revenge on the mind as he starts to beat down on Faarooq. Jeff eventually joins in, but the European Champion Owen Hart ran out to ringside! He was able to get Severn over the top rope, but when he turned around, Jeff cracked him in the head with the guitar! Jeff strutted over the fallen Owen Hart with the European Championship!
Backstage we see Steve Blackman, Al Snow, and Head in the locker room. Steve doesn’t look happy and Snow asks him what the matter is. Steve asks Snow “are you kidding me?” On HeAT you gave CPR to that stupid head while I was getting my ass beat! Snow covers Head’s ears and tells Blackman not to use that language around her! Steve calls Snow a nut job while Snow tells Blackman that he is a peanut butter licker. Steve looks at Snow funny before leaving the room. Snow quickly follows him as Raw is War goes to a break.
Break
A video is show that recaps what happened on HeAT with Andrew Martin punting Head out of the ring.
Andrew Martin(w/Rob Van Dam) versus Steve Blackman(w/Al Snow and Head) went to a No Contest The match went to hell when Blackman was setting up for the Lethal Kick, but Van Dam got involved. Provoking Snow, who followed Steve out here, to jump in the ring and attack Van Dam! A brawl erupted as the bell rang.
Snow was able to get Van Dam into the corner, but Martin turned him around, and he was holding Head! Snow begged Martin not to hurt it, but Van Dam came from behind and hit Snow with a low blow! Snow went down as Martin kicked Blackman in the head, no pun indented. Martin and Van Dam glanced at Head, but instead of throwing it down, they walked off with Head! Snow was beginning to stir, but Martin and Van Dam were on the stage! They left as Snow ran to the back to save Head!
The latest WWF gear is available at WWF.ATTITUDE.COM.
Break
A replay is shown of last week of Rey Mysterio and TAKA Michinoku working together to fight off Too Much.
We come back to see Too Much making their way out to the ring area. They brag about their win on HeAT and then Brian mentions that last week TAKA Michinoku and Rey Mysterio caught them off guard! So tonight, they’re going to pay them back, show who the real stars of the Lightweight divisions are!
TAKA Michinoku and Rey Mysterio def. Too Much This was a really entertaining bout, and it was interesting to see how TAKA and Rey worked together. In the end TAKA pinned Taylor after the Michinoku Driver.
After the match the ref raised both men’s hands, but when the Light Heavyweight Championship was handed to Mysterio, the celebration was over. Mysterio raised his title in the air with one hand as TAKA locked eyes with Mysterio. They have a quick handshake before TAKA leaves the ring, but neither man takes their eye off one another.
A video hypes Summerslam, two weeks from this Sunday, and it is set to AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”
Break
Returning from the break, we see The Nation of Domination, minus Kama Mustafa, backstage. Rock told D-Lo Brown and Mark that maybe The Undertaker is after them, but they are here to take over the World Wrestling Federation! And the Nation will make an example out of The Undertaker for when he embarrassed The Great One three weeks ago! Undertaker stands for all the opposite of The Nation, and it is their job to rid him of this company. Before Rock can continue his speech, Kama approaches them, but in new, “pimp” clothes with two lovely ladies on one arm each. Rock asked Kama what the hell was this, and he told The Rock these were his lovely ladies! Kama smirked and shouted “ALL ABOARD!” before walking off with the ladies. Mark Henry watched on as The Rock couldn’t believe this, yelling how The Nation could be taken seriously.
Cactus Jack def. Ken Shamrock This was a great Raw main event, but when it came to the end, Cactus creamed Shamrock in the gut with his barbed wire bat and hit the Double-Arm DDT for the three!
Cactus celebrated his win as Triple H and Sean Waltman jumped in the ring. They quickly put the boots to Shamrock much like last week. Triple H kept telling Shamrock he was the uncrowned champion, but quickly Shamrock fought back. He threw Waltman out of the ring and Triple H escaped as Cactus looked on. Suddenly, as Hunter was backing up the ramp, Stone Cold ran down and threw Hunter back into the ring! Hunter yelled at Stone Cold, but before Shamrock could strike, Cactus attacked him! Austin then got in the ring and the four men began to brawl until staff was actually able to control them once Cactus and Austin went to the outside. Will this be settled tonight in our main event?
JR and King welcome us to the second hour of Raw is War and they hype up The You Better Call Somebody Open Challenge, tonight Marc Mero has a message for Sable and newcomer Edge, and finally, our main event, former rivals Stone Cold and Triple H collide! The theme of the Nation of Domination hits to a chorus of boos.
The Undertaker def. Mark Henry(w/The Nation) VIA DQ Throughout the match Mark showed tremendous strength and lifted Taker up in the air before slamming him down. Finally, it came down to where The Undertaker had Mark Henry by the neck, but D-Lo suddenly attacked Taker from behind!
D-Lo hammered shot after shot onto Taker, even getting in his face, but when he went off the ropes, Taker caught him! Undertaker grasped him by the neck, but Rock ran in! He charged, only for Taker to catch him as well! He went for the huge double chokeslam, but Rock slipped out, only allowing D-Lo to hit the canvas! Rock watched from ringside as Taker singled to Rock he was his at Summerslam!
Break
A video promotes Sunday Night HeAT this week, where we will see The Rock in action against European Champion Owen Hart.
We return live as Marc Mero and Jacqueline make their way out to the ring. Mero talks about how for weeks now his Whas come up with a plan to finally end this, and that will take place at Summerslam in Madison Square Garden! Because he has came up with the idea of Sable and Edge teaming up to take on none other than himself and Jacqueline in an inter-gender tag team match! The crowd cheers for Sable and Edge before Mero says that there will be a stipulation added to this match! When Jacqueline and he win, Sable will be fired from the WWF! The crowd boos, but Sable then makes her way out! She tells Marc that she will gladly expect the match, but only on one condition. If Edge and her win, than she can get one on one ring time with Marc Mero after the match! Mero bursts out laughing with Jacqueline. He finally expects the match, but Jacqueline takes a cheap shot at Sable! As Sable staggers, Mero quickly hits the TKO on his ex-wife! The crowd boos, but the arena gets dark and “You Think You Know Me” plays over the arena! Edge comes running out through the crowd as he throws Mero out of the ring. Edge doesn’t take his eyes off of Mero as the War Zone goes to a break.
Break
We come back and a replay is shown of Marc Mero hitting his ex-wife Sable with the TKO before Edge ran him off!
Goldust def. Bradshaw Goldust was able to beat Bradshaw after ducking a Clothesline from Hell and hitting a Backslide for the quick three
Bradshaw seemed frustrated with the loss after Goldust was able to get a sneaky win. We then head backstage where Kevin Kelly is with The New Age Outlaws. He goes to ask them a question, but Jesse James cuts him off. Road Dogg says that after last week they proved without a doubt “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn and The Road Dogg Jess James are the greatest tandem to ever be assembled in the WWF! In fact, their title reign has been the longest reign since 1996! Then up next, they are going to kick some ass, and prove that they are the greatest tag team champions of all time! Gunn takes the microphone and says “If you’re not down with that, we got two words for ya, SUCK IT!”
Break
We come back from break as JR and King hype our main event one more time. The theme of The New Age Outlaws hits as they make their way out along with the rest of DX. Before they can say even more for the night, the Legion of Doom makes their way out to a huge pop!
Y.B.C.S.O.C.: The New Age Outlaws(w/DX) def. The Legion of Doom This was a good match, and the Legion seemed hell bent on winning the tag title from their old foes. In the end, they set up for the Doomsday Deceive on Billy Gunn, but Waltman distracted the ref which allowed Hunter to push Hawk off the top rope! Gunn then slipped out and hit the Fame-Ass-Er!
The crowd booed as The Outlaws were handed the title once more. Bill Gunn shouted that was nine in a row as the camera faded to black.
Backstage Kevin Kelly is with Cactus Jack. Kelly congratulated Cactus on his win earlier, but he wanted answers to why he, as Dude Love, attacked Austin last week in the middle of their tag team bout. Cactus then reminds Kelly that one year ago they were actually tag team champions. Yet the whole time Austin took the entire spotlight to himself! Then, finally, last month, Mick Foley gets his spotlight! Then, in our tag match together, he attacked me! He just had to steal the spotlight. So, last week he showed Austin that he should not trust anybody, just like how he does not anymore! Because finally, the spotlight is on Cactus Jack! Not Stone Cold, no, your next WWF Champion, Cactus Jack.
Up next, Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Triple H!
Break
We come back as Hunter, Waltman, and Chyna are still in the ring waiting for the arrival of Stone Cold. The glass shatters to a huge pop as the WWF Champion arrives!
Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Triple H(w/DX) These two seem to have great chemistry, and they shared another great main event here. It came to an end when DX tried to interfere, but Ken Shamrock ran back out with revenge on his mind! He gets in a brawl with Waltman, which distracts Triple H enough to let Austin turn him around and hit the Stunner for the three!
Austin didn’t have much time to celebrate as Kane, Paul Bearer, and Vince McMahon came down the ramp! Waltman had gotten in the ring by now and he was taking the fight to Austin! Kane got in and also pummeled Austin as Shamrock tried to help him. Hunter was up as those five men were going at it, until Cactus Jack was out too! It quickly became a four on two beat down, but DX threw Kane out of the ring and attacked Cactus! Vince was furious, but Terry Funk ran out with a chair! He smacked Waltman in the head as Shamrock chased Triple H out and into the crowd! Austin and Cactus staggered, when all of a sudden Cactus took Funk’s chair and creamed Austin with it in the skull! Funk went over to control Cactus, but he smacked him with the chair too! Cactus Jack just hit Terry Funk with the chair! The crowd was in shock as Cactus took a microphone and told Austin and Funk, “DON’T TRUST ANYONE! IT’S MY SPOTLIGHT! IT’S MY TITLE!” Cactus laughed as the War Zone went off the air.

Good opening promo. Would like to see Triple H get the win tonight. I definitely see McMahon getting involved in the Summerslam main event, somehow. Jarrett winning is good to further his title chase. Hopefully, Owen retains at Summerslam. Liking the segments between Blackman & Snow. Would've preferred to see Martin actually get the win. I can easily see this as a tag match at Summerslam. TAKA and Mysterio winning is fine. Like the fact that they show respect for each other, yet still have the want and desire to beat the other man for the title. Good promo from NOD. Glad to see Kama start to make his transformation. Cactus winning was expected. Liked the brawl to end Raw. Liked the way The Rock cowered away from Taker. I would be happy if Rock wins at Summerslam. I knew this match was going to happen! Didn't expect that stipulation, tough. Edge & Sable are definitely going to win. Goldust winning is fine. Bradshaw being frustrated makes me think this is going to lead to something bigger for him. Happy to see the YBCSOC back. I honestly don't know which team can beat the Outlaws. They seem far too dominate. I expected Austin to win here. You've done a great job of making him out to be a great champ. I can't remember the last time he lost, cleanly. Very chaotic ending. I liked it.
Overall, really good show. Happy to see The Godfather kinda start to come into fruition. Summerslam's card is looking stacked.

Should be a good main event between Austin and HHH. Good win for Jarrett and I didn’t realize that Dan Severn was in this diary. Funny segment with Blackman and Snow. I feel like you are doing good things with the comedy character that Snow played at the time. Not a big fan with the kidnapping of Head. For some reason I just don’t like it, though it makes sense to continue the feud, I just hope it doesn’t turn into a comedy feud. Obvious that Rey and Taka were going over. LOL. The Godfather debuts. Would be interesting to see Godfather feud with the Nation after SummerSlam. Cactus/Shamrock is a great first hour main event with the right guy going over. Good segment to advance the Rock/Taker feud. Really liked that Rock avoided the choke slam. I hope the Mero/Sable stuff ends soon. Pretty basic promo by the Outlaws. I’m sure the tag match would’ve been a decent bout. I’m really liking the Jack/Austin feud. Nice to see a pin fall outcome for the main event. Fantastic aftermath.. Psycho Cactus is the way to go! Very good RAW!

Marc Mero and Jacqueline make their way out and Mero wastes no time in running his mouth. He says that at Summerslam, the fans better be ready to see Sable in her final appearance here in the WWF. Mero talks about how the match is a win-win situation win for him. Once Jackie and he win, Sable will be fired! If somehow they lose, which won’t happen, he can just hit another TKO on Sable! Mero laughs before saying that tonight he will beat Edge, no; he will destroy Edge before Summerslam! “You Think You Know Me” interrupts Mero as Edge comes out through the crowd!
Edge def. Marc Mero(w/Jacqueline) VIA DQ In a hot opening contest, Edge was connected with the spear, but Jacqueline pulled the ref out! The ref sent her to back, but Mero didn’t realize the ref had turned around when he hit Edge with a low blow!
Mero tried to convince the ref he didn’t hit the low blow, but the ref was not fooled. Mero then quickly turned frustrated and started to attack Edge! As Edge was staggering, Mero hit the TKO on his other Summerslam opponent! Jacqueline celebrated in the ring with him as he mouthed off to Edge.
The latest WWF merchandise and everything else WWF as at WWF.ATTITUDE.COM!
Break
We come back from the break as Tom Brandi is in the ring. Kama Mustafa came out with two other ladies and Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown as he had a microphone. He said announced to Omaha that “The Godfather” and his lovely ladies are in town!
The Godfather(w/Two valets and The Nation) def. Tom Brandi The new Kama Mustafa, “The Godfather” put Brandi away after a Death Valley Driver.
After the match, D-Lo and Mark raised his hand, but The Godfather insisted celebrating with his valets.
A video recaps Raw is War with Vince McMahon announcing Stone Cold will be facing Triple H. It showed the main event of Austin beating Triple H and the huge brawl after it. It concludes with Cactus Jack hitting both Stone Cold and Terry Funk with a steel chair to close out the show. JR then announces up next we will hear from Terry Funk!
Break
We return as Michael Cole is with Terry Funk backstage. Cole asks Funk if he can gets his thoughts and what transpired this past Monday on Raw is War. Terry tells Cole he has no idea in what the hell happened to Mick as of late. Ever since Austin hit him with the Stunner two months ago, he’s been out of his mind. Funk says that Mick is in a dark place right now, but he’s going to have to kick his ass out of that dark place! So, right here, tonight on Sunday Night HeAT, he is laying down the challenge! Tomorrow night on Raw is War, he wants to face Cactus Jack in a Hardcore Match! Cole looks shocked as Funk walks off the set.
The Headbangers def. The New Midnight Express(w/Jim Cornette) This was a decent match, but Mosh put Bart away with the Stage Dive after Thrasher took out Cornette and Bob with a double clothesline off the apron!
Up next, European Champion Owen Hart takes on The Rock
A video hypes up Summerslam two weeks from tonight. The ad is set to AC/CD’s “Highway to Hell.”
Break
The Rock def. Owen Hart; The Nation is Banned The Nation of Domination was banned, but that didn’t stop Jeff Jarrett from coming out and costing Owen Hart another match after hitting him with the guitar while the ref was distracted by The Rock!
After the match The Rock celebrated his victory, but the lights went out! They came back on, but Owen Hart and Double J were gone from ringside! The crowd cheered as the lights went out again and JR asked what the hell was happening. When the lights turned on again, The Undertaker was behind The Rock! Rock turned around and looked The Phenom in the eye. Rock quickly backed out of the ring as Undertaker told Rock that was just a warning. The crowd was in a frenzy as HeAT went off the air!

Heat seemed like a good show, Rock vs Owen Hart would be an awesome match. Kama... I mean Godfather seems like he is going to be breaking away from the Nation soon. Headbangers vs Midnight Express seemed like a throw away match. Always thought it was silly to bring the team name back with Bob Holly and Bart Gunn. Really cool to see you have a decent light heavyweight division going. I always recall it just being there in the background but Rey Misterio Jr being around is awesome. looking forward to that match at Summerslam.
