My first 2 wrestling figures were Hogan and Macho from the Hasbro days when my mom bought them for me on Valentines day when I was 6 years old. I'm now 26 and still continue to collect. I will never stop.

I'm 26, too. Do what you enjoy. If cashiers make a snide comment or whatever, just laugh it off. I admit that I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to figures, and am totally okay with accepting that. As everyone else has said on here, if you enjoy it, who cares what anyone else thinks?

If I ever feel weird buying one because its a hot cashier or something, I just ask her for a gift receipt. Then she doesn't think twice and no one is the wiser

In my mind there is no age limit to collect figures, if you like it then do it!

For the record, I'm 27 and I'm collecting more than just WWE figures... I collect toys such as diecast cars, other non WWE figures, Transformers etc... Just take a look at all my various collections..... >>>> www.flickr.com/photos/8158897@N03/You're never too old and who cares what others think! Then again, in all my years of this hobby of toy collection, I've never had encounters with cashiers who makes a snide comment or whatever.. I always think that they know that whatever I purchase is also bought by adults as part of a collection or hobby... The only downside about this hobby is the amount of money forked out as toys are getting more and more expensive these days.. So managing your funds is the most important part. Just make sure you put money aside or make some savings for other necessities such as marriage or family. Don't overspend and end up with nothing left for the entire month or so.

I'm 36 and enjoy collecting now, more than ever. Especially, now with all the great classic/legends figures being made by JAKKS and Mattel. I couldn't imagine not collecting with all these great figures being made.

your real friends won't mind you collecting and if a girl likes you she won't care what you do. Be yourself and do what you want to do and you will attract real friends and a girlfriend instead of relationships based on lies if you hide what you like.

I re-started collecting after I achieved #4 of my life goal list. 1) Find self (long journey, but key to happiness)2) Get a good job (must have for expensive hobby) 3) Get married (Asian wife that accepts hobby) 4) Buy house (must have for figure room) 5) Live life (life is short, enjoy!) i'm 23, just had my first kid...but i still collect the ufc line religiously. i love it...only thing i really collect, so why not

You can never be too old for collecting. Good thing, because I am way over the limit and just started 5 1/2 years ago. Yeah dude your old but like everyone says you are never to old for anything, I thought when i was younger i was going to not love toys no more when i became 21 that was my own fear but now im 25 26 soon and i still love toys i cant get everytrhing i want in time but i collect what i can.

I've never had anyone look at me weird or say anything to me.. But I will say that I stopped collecting action figures through out high school..
And I started again with Mattel.. And it is easily the funnest thing I am doing right now.. I enjoy it so much..
As cliche as it sounds.. Do what makes you happy.. Life is to short to pretend you don't like something to avoid dirty looks for some people.

It is a little old but as long as you are comfortable then the haters. But if you get embarrassed then maybe you should do other things with your money.

I´m in my 40s and a proud collector. As you get older and acheive a thing or two in life, the opinions of others don´t matter as much. I rarely touch alcohol. never used drugs and I´m a pretty prominent member of my community. Some of the people that have made little comments about my collection have much bigger issues in life than collecting pieces of plastic....so no, I don´t feel i´m too old. It is a harmless hobby that only bothers people who don´t want to put it in perspective with their own issues. Most people get a kick out of my extensive collection.....so i say...ENJOY!!!

As for me, I am 33 years old now and turning 34 in about a month from now, and I really do not care what others think of my hobby! My girlfriend is okay with it, and furthermore I do not gamble, do not smoke, and I do not use alcohol, so collecting is my only addiction! I also do not hide my collection from others, my colleagues at work know all about it and some of them are even intrigued by it, asking me several questions and showing intrest. I even got an article done on me and my collection by a local newspaper a couple of weeks ago
