What does the show have to do with you having an avatar of someone hanging from a noose on a Mattel logo? Especially if you like the figures they are producing. DOES NOT COMPUTE.

Did Mattel address the reason why OTL Punk has no camo? What's the excuse for that?

Did Mattel address the reason why OTL Punk has no camo? What's the excuse for that? Same reason why some basics have a little color to their tattoos, and guys with a lot of them (like punk) do not. - The Basic line is their most budgeted line, especially the PPV lines because the figures are so rushed to get them out as soon as possible. The MAIN Elite line they have more money to spend and go all out on, like the Legends line. Those are the two lines they really put work into. 5:20 is where Bill discusses the budget, and deco on figures.

Basic figures shouldn't get belts, only Elites and Entrance greats but yeah i agree we should have a few more by now. Why not? Because you don't like basics they people that do should be screwed? Well, Basic's are the budgeted line, and are called "Basic" for a reason. Elites get the most detail, best paint apps, and the accessories.

As an Elite collector how would you feel if every line but Elites got belts? Well, Basic's are the budgeted line, and are called "Basic" for a reason. Elites get the most detail, best paint apps, and the accessories. Every series should get belts at some point. Flex Force, Basic, Elites, Legends & Ent. Greats. Not everybody collects the same line, so why should Mattel discriminant against any collectors? Doesn't sound like good business.

Okay, perhaps every line should have belts. - But the Elite's, and Legends - being the highest budgeted lines, with the most focus on detail being put on them, should have higher quality belts.
And regardless, you know certain people will still sell the belts loose anyway.

I'm sure they would end up on E-bay at some point, but parents who buy Flex Force may also want belts for their children without going through E-Bay. I agree that maybe the basic belts don't need all the painted details like the Elites & Legend belts should have.

Personally once they start making belts I think all the lines should get belts with them or they put them in an accessory pack.

Am I the only one who stopped reading this thread, once I saw the use of "whore" and "whoring" used regularly? Hahaha.

Every series should get belts at some point. Flex Force, Basic, Elites, Legends & Ent. Greats. Not everybody collects the same line, so why should Mattel discriminant against any collectors? Doesn't sound like good business. Belts are accessories. The basic line doesn't come with accessories. Saying it's discrimination is very, very stupid. You could switch belts/accessories for any standard part of the elite series there: Every series should get chest articulation at some point. Flex Force, Basic, Elites, Legends & Ent. Greats. Not everybody collects the same line, so why should... Blah blah. If we want accessories, and more points of articulation, and more detailed paint apps, we get the elite line. Every line has its on plus and minus points. We've already had belts with entrance greats and are about to with Legends, and I guess we will with elites and Defining Moments soon enough. But they shouldn't throw accessories in with basics just because someone's shouting on the Internet. If they added belts to the basic figures budget, that would mean even less money for deco, so we would be closer to kissing goodbye to tattoos and detailed attired. Mattel, please don't blow the basics budget on putting belts with them. Just make the basic figures good. If we want accessories, we'll get 'em in the other lines, where such things are budgeted for.
