Oh right, you just count locks of hair of QB's. So if you don't put wins on a QB... how do you measure their greatness? Remember, you don't put wins on a QB... so doesn't this make Peyton's prime better than Brady's? Doesn't Vince Young have like the best winning record in the league right now? Or he did before this season. Obviously that doesn't mean he is good, because he is trash. Yea obviously Vince Young is a giant disaster but he's also never played his entire career in the Patriots system. Just saying, if Brady were on the Colts does he have as many rings? If Peyton were on the Pat's is it really a definitive drop off for them? I think it's too hard to call. But if somebody makes a point, I'm not gonna sit there and deny a good point.

The thing is, Manning has played in a dome his entire career, which certainly helps his stats look better. Not to mention the ridiculous talent he has had at WR (and TE) during his time.
Then you look at Tom Brady and the surrounding skill-position talent he has had... Until Welker and Moss came, the best WR he had ever worked with was Deion Branch.
I think Deion Branch is a testament to how great Brady is. Just look what he did in Seattle compared to what he did in New England at the beginning of his career, or what he is doing now. It's night and day.

Yea but that point about Branch, while statistically backed up... goes against the grain of your you can't measure the individual by the team's performance stance. I agree with you for the most part, but who is to say it is not the NE system that both players truly stride under?
Brady is great, obviously. But would he and Branch both have been great in that horrible Seattle system during his time there? Tough to say...
I only say this because Brady hasn't really done much with Randy Moss, outside of that record breaking year. He wasn't able to get it done overall and dare I say *gasp* the record breaking season was tainted with cheating claims leading up to it. Don't flip out, it's actually relevant.
Obviously the Pat's can dominate... but how much of it is their coach and their overall system? Brady is great, but would he have Branch playing at that level if both of them played in Seattle under that recent mess of a system?

Brady vs Ryan at the Super Bowl would make New England explode

Yea I could go for the Falcons and Pat's in the superbowl... but I think the Giants playing in a Superbowl in Dallas would be great (yea whatever I'll get killed for this, it's just one thought).
And no, I'm not saying the Giants are likely to be there. But it would make for some interesting coverage in Dallas.

Most of Brady's stats that year happened after "Spygate."
So no, I would say it's not really relevant.

Is anyone else really excited for Sound FX tonight on NFL Network? It's a full hour of Peyton.

Most of Brady's stats that year happened after "Spygate." So no, I would say it's not really relevant. I'm not looking to debate this but the opening game with the Jets is what raised concern... even if that guy was whining about getting his ass kicked. The Pat's have legitimately dominated, there is no denying that. You can't beat up on teams like that by simply stealing signs... although I suppose it could set you up to dominate a team, but you still have to execute. It certainly gives you an edge, but you still have to execute. If the cheating never happened, I wouldn't be killed in here for it. What does that tell you? the problem is that it happened... not that I'm pointing it out. It's a legitimate happening, whether it's valid to you or not... it's valid to me. Which is why I don't understand why you are so concerned with trying to change my views on it, especially if you made known how much you do not respect me? It happened... I'm not gonna forget it.

Bears/Vikings on Monday night will be played outside at University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium. Awesome! It's going to be freezing outside, but it'll be fun to watch on TV.

Not really. The University is the one stating that they'll offer shovels to volunteers. Its the Vikings organization that's offering to pay volunteers.
