No, I don't work out. I don't see how being over weight would cause the problem. I've heard being over weight cuts off blood flow at times, or does something like that. But why all of a sudden would it come on, I've been about the same weight for years now.

Carpal Tunnel. Same issue, left hand, pinky and ring finger. Not quite as extreme as what you are describing, but that's what I was told (by a real doctor, not G2 at WFigs.com! I lay off the computer for a few days, it gets better. I get on again like a maniac, it comes back. Wars That was my guess. I would chill off the CPU for a bit. And do wrist exercises.

The body doesn't work like that. Like, the second you became a pound overweight, it didn't say, "Gee, let's screw with his fingers and numb that stuff up a bit." Crap like that can happen anytime.

Wars "Symptoms usually start gradually, with frequent burning, tingling, or itching numbness in the palm of the hand and the fingers, especially the thumb and the index and middle fingers." I'm not having problems with my thumb, index or middle finger. Nor am I having a problem with my wrist. Right, nor did I. CT is mainly thought of as a "wrist thing," but the finger numbness I had was from CT. WArs

I've been told by my doctor that diagnosis via the internet is the worst thing to do, definitely go get it checked out. He just wants your money. >_>

Now my right hand pinky and ring finger hurt. They aren't asleep, but it feels like someone is squeezing them or they have some kind of weight on them. When extended they hurt more but if I bend them then they don't hurt nearly as much.
I don't think it's carpal tunnel either, because (if I have it in my left hand like some claim) odd to strike in one hand and then a few weeks later the other hand.

I think you need to get in and see that neuro now.
Pain, numbness or tingling can radiate from other parts of the body. I have ruptured disks at L5 - S1 in the back, but have more problems with pain shooting down my upper leg to my knee than with the back at times. Have you done anything that could have injured a shoulder or elbow?

Dude, get to a hospital or something. Dont want it getting any worse do you?

I can't see the neurologist until the hospital decides to finally submit my bill to the insurance company. I am not paying $1,200 just to see the doctor.
