When I was growing up, well before there were seatbelt laws, my parents ingrained the idea of wearing them into my brother and I by saying that the car wouldn't start without us buckled. It was especially powerful when the destination was a toy store.

98% of the time I wear one. Occasionally if I'm not the one driving, I won't have one on. Generally I feel weird if I don't wear one.

My Honda beeps everyone like, 3 minutes when I'm not wearing it, so I kind of have to. Even if it didn't beep, though, I'd still wear it all the time. In a serious accident, a seatbelt can be the difference between life and death.

Yes i always wear one.Liek Fattics car mine beaps when you don't have it on for the driver or passenger. The one time i don't wear one or i wear it loosely is when im on a long road trip and im laying down i usually let the belt all the way out and put the strap behind me so i can lay down.

Sometimes when I'm in the back seat I won't think to, but even that's rare. I always do when I'm in the front seat though, which is almost all of the time.

If you are not wearing a seatbelt in the year 2010, you deserve what happens to you. Dumb asses.

If you are not wearing a seatbelt in the year 2010, you deserve what happens to you. Dumb asses. I agree, but honestly I wear it only sometimes. Usually because I forget unless I am in my wife's car where if ing beeps incessantly until I put the bastard on. In all seriousness when I was younger I didn't care and actually would have been seriously hurt in a car accident had I wore a seat belt. Thinking of this however since I have a daughter now myself I want to instill what is correct and make sure I am wearing one all the time... Not only for my safety and well being but to show her it is important to wear one all the time as well. Like the guy above said "It's 2010 if you don't wear a seat belt you get what you deserve"

I used to hate wearing them, but when you start driving and get so used to putting them on...its a natural thing to ALWAYS have it on. No reason why you shouldnt. Except in the backseat...think i've worn it once or twice in my life in the back besides as a child.
