Look at this guy next to Light Heavyweight Lyoto Machida. I really want Cain to beat Lesnar, but the size advantage will be HUGE. I hope Cain will keep his speed in tact to try and win. that, Go Cain!

Well...black IS quite slimming...
Sorry, I got nothing. He looks really undersized in that pic. I'm sure it's just a matter of coincidence in the case of this pic, but it's no secret that he's going to be at a drastic size disadvantage against Brock.
On a similar note, Loyoto looks really different to me in these recent pics. I can't quite put my finger on it though.

I don't know, dude. Maybe it's just a picture and I'm being crazy, but it just confuses me.

No, I definitely see it as well. I'm sure Bateman can shed more light on it eventually, but he does indeed look tiny.
This pic raises an interesting idea though. Based on this pic, if Cain is manhandled badly by Brock would a move to LHW really be out of the question for him?

Wow. Lyoto isn't even a big LHW which is what really makes this picture look odd.
I want Cain to win because Cain is a beast but I just dont see any possible way for him to be able to deal with Brocks size. I don't think he has that one shot ko power but he does have heavy hands so if he can use his speed and superior striking perhaps he can do what Carwin couldnt. But I truly see Brock manhandling Cain for the longest fight of Cain and Brocks career. I see it going to the 4th or 5th round.

Brock ran away from a glancing shot by Carwin. If Cain can keep it standing, he will probably make Lesnar sh*t his pants.

I almost don't even believe that's him. Isn't this pic like a day or two old from Machida's visit to AKA? And the Lesnar fight is less than a month away? Damn.

a glancing shot from Carwin? I don't know about glancing. It looked like it connected a tad more than "a glancing shot" would. Carwin is more Brocks size with INSANE one shot KO power. He got a couple of shots in on Lesnar and Brock never went completely out. I think Carwin should have picked his shots better but he still did a ton of damage to Brock and Brock held on.
granted Brock ran....literally RAN from Carwin for a second and I don't really like when fighters do that. I don't know if you guys are familiar with Bloodstain and Team Takeover on Youtube but I really like what Bloodstain said..."When Fedor or Wanderlei would get tagged they wouldn't turn around and run...they would plant there feet into the f***ing canvas and Bang!"
I think the advantages Cain will have are his superior striking. He is so damn crisp with his punches that if he got into the same position that Carwin had Brock in I think he would be able to finish Lesnar with more precise punches...no wasted energy. His leg kicks are f***ing BRUTAL. And his cardio is top notch.
His only disadvantage is his size at HW...he isn't a huge HW and could probably go down to LHW. But since his entry into the UFC he has been successful so I guess now is the true test. Him vs. Brock, Carwin, and even Dos Santos will be the real test.

Yeah that was weak.
I mean I'm not saying I would do any different. I would sh** myself if I saw a fist like Carwins flying at me...but when Lesnar is being called "The baddest man on the planet" you don't expect the baddest man on the planet to run away from anything...

Anyway, Carwin only landed one SOLID shot and that was an Uppercut and it made Lesnar literally jump up and back and running from him for the rest of that round, all the other shots where arm shots had Carwin picked his shots Lesnar would of been knocked out and we would have a new champ. I feel rather confident in Cain, his Wrestling is just has good if not better than Lesnar's and he has good submissions so using those I feel he can survive the ground game DEPENDING on how fast Lesnar starts his GNP. So if Cain keeps it standing he has the Cardio and he has good striking, he may not have that on hit KO power like Carwin but Cain won't be swinging wildly like that he will pick his shots and hopefully TKO Lesnar around the Third or Fourth round.

I'm pulling for Brock but looking at that picture makes Cain look AMAZINGLY small. I think that it will be a good fight granted that Cain picks his shots wisely and doesn't pull a Carwin and burn himself out in one round (which I doubt will happen as he definitely seems better conditioned.

I'm no MMA coach, but given Cain's striking skills, I see Brock shooting in or pushing against the cage as soon as possible. Brock did very well against Couture against the cage, so I think Brock, if careful, could press Cain against the wall, and drag him down the ground.

He does look pretty small next to Machida, I don't think it will be a problem for Lesnar taking him down for ground and pound

Not sure about that. Yeah, he took him down eventually, but Couture had the easiest time with Brock against the cage, even almost taking him down, but Lesnar grabbed the fence.

Cain will be alright. He is working on his speed and conditioning. We have brought in Lashley, Big Nog, Overeem guys with substantial size advantage on Cain. And he has been working off his back with all of them. He is ready to go to his back if he has to, and he may have a suprise or two for Brock should he take him their. But ultimately he does want to keep it standing.

The size just makes me nervous. Like the photo shows, he looks smaller than Lyoto.

Yeah, that does look worrying in some regards, but I'm hoping he uses the advantage he has in speed, conditioning and overall cardio to overcome Lesnar.

Cain is about 2 inches shorter than Lesnar. Granted, Brock does have a huge mass advantage, but there's not anyone he DOESN'T have that on, lol.
