There are some pricks on thisgame... people go reverse on the tracks... pisses me off. Between that and those who spin you every other pass... it's ridiculous. I think it'll be a game where I do the online achievements and then be done with online.

Well, I've reached the start of the Chase. 26 races in:
12 wins 16 Top 5's 17 Top 10's 2nd in NSCS Championship Points. -11.
With the Chase reset, I should be the Points leader at 5120 points.
Those 3 extra Mark Martin schemes aren't bad either. I did that code for them. Was wondering how those got unlocked actually.

Just like Kyle Busch in 2008, I started the Chase at New Hampshire finishing 43rd. Dropped from leading the points [after the reset] to 7th. I won Dover and Kansas though, and have taken a 6 point lead over Jeff Gordon.
...and just won at Auto Club to extend my lead to 49 points over Jeff Gordon, going to the 4th Chase race at Charlotte.

I did it! 2010 Sprint Cup Series Champion, Dale Earnhardt Jr. 20 wins in a dominating season. Finished 17th in the final race down at Homestead-Miami.

*high five* Right back at you, for your 24 wins in a championship season. I think my next venture will be a full length race. Now where that will be, I don't know. But I never did a 100% race on NASCAR 09. Hell the last time I tried was NASCAR Thunder 2003, and kept getting spun out, and half the race was skipped due to cautions.

...why must EVERYONE do a backflip after winning a race?

So gimme votes please. What track should I do my 100% length race at? Gotta be Intermediate to Superspeedway tracks. So no Bristol, Martinsville, or Richmond. I just can't navigate those tracks without slamming into the wall every lap so it won't be an enjoyable race for me.

...why must EVERYONE do a backflip after winning a race? Dale Jr. doesn't. I only started noticing it after seeing Hornish and Stewart doing it. Stewart, seriously. Seriously. I vote for 'dega. No braking required, just gun it and go. The only hard part is keeping your hands from falling asleep due to minimal movement.

Nevermind, I saw the post on the forum with what will be fixed. "A.I. difficulty being too easy when qualifying" - Please, I hope they don't fix this. The game is already difficult enough, no need to make it even more so.

For those of you who haven't heard of the new patch:
Hopefully they also stop the spotter from making stupid food-related comments every ten laps.

Jeez, it's like I can only get either first or forty-third. I was makin' my way through Bristol, preparing to lap the last few cars, when, as usual, Robby Gordon pretended I wasn't even there and spun me out. Caution didn't come out, I sat on the track facing the wrong way while I waited for the accelerator to kick in...and everyone passed me. EVERYONE.

Yeah, I'm double-posting, so what? Big whoop, wanna fight about it?
Do any of you have a racing wheel? I just now purchased one on Amazon in the hopes of it being compatible with at least ONE of my games. I paid $60 for a used wired one from MadCatz. Too much? Good deal? Is there something better out there for a reasonable price?

I do not though I've always wanted to try one on a game such as this.
Anyways, I think my 100% length is going to be one of 400 laps, equaling to a grueling 600 miles. That's right folks, the longest race of the NASCAR season. The Coca-Cola 600!
...and I didn't get the patch download. Anyone else get it yet? I thought it was to be released yesterday, as per the NTG2011 FB page.
**EDIT**
Nevermind about the patch. I just read it wrong, it's not out yet, it was just a list of things that are going to be fixed for when it does come out. I AM SO CONFUSED!
