Started playing this game today. Got 6 races in. Got 2 wins, got the pole for every race except Las Vegas, and I'm third in the standings.

Ha. As Menard (gotta let the non-winners get a victory to make them feel better about themselves), I went from last...to first...hit a wall and blew a tire...caution flag flew (which is a rarity)...pitted, went to the back...then flew to the front for the victory!
...sure, I have it set on easy, but the real Menard couldn't do that if all the other cars had restrictor plates the size and weight of cinderblocks.

MOTHERFU*KER!!! I just wasted the last 2 1/2 hours!!!! I was 1 lap down, fresh tires and a full tank of gas. Had the car to get my lap back and get back to the front and wing the fu*king race. What does Denny fu*king Hamlin do? He spun me out, I smacked the wall. Spun again and crossed the pit road line backwards. And I get an "Illegal Pit Road Entry" Black Flag. 372 laps into a 400 lap race. I was not dealing with that sh*t. I could not get 2 laps back in 28 laps.

Yeah, I can't wait for the patch where everyone gets equal collision force/damage and the yellow flags come out before half of the field is bunched up in one corner.

"Dale Earnhardt Jr. dominated the field in winning today's race, the Autism Speaks 400, from Dover International Raceway, leading 237 laps of the 400 that made up the distance."
I said F*CK YOU to Denny Hamlin, and decided that he was NOT going to ruin my night. I made a point to run a full length race, and I did it at MY hometown track, Dover International Speedway. For realz, I live like 10 mins. away.

I find it funny that my only loss in the entire season was not on a road course. I suuuck at those, yet something about using the cars in front to help me stop at the curves gets me to the front when the checkered flag is wavin'. Sure, the rear-ending should've propelled them right off the track, but for now, I don't mind the game's cheapness so much.

I'm looking at it like, at least we got a NASCAR game in which the company that made it cares about us, the players of the game. They know that there are a few problems, and at least they own up to it, and are not like EA Sports and making us wait until the following year until they decide to release the follow-up game. With the same exact problems and expect us all to be fine with it. Like NASCAR 08, who the f*ck makes a racing game, and has the multiplayer be online only, and still release it on the PS2? Eutechnyx acknowledges that there are some things that do need to be fixed, and will be doing to with patches throughout. And the 2011 update that I hear is a free update? Please and thank you. EA would NEVER have done that. If they released the current year's schemes - as we all know that the EA games were based off the previous year than the year of the title - we'd have to pay $2-$3 per car.

Now this is dedication.
The amount that Eutechnyx is working to make sure that we, the fans, are pleased with this game is awesome.

I feel kind of bad for those with the game who don't have Live.

Did another. Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, won by Dale Earnhardt Jr. He led 231 of 334 laps, and turned the best lap of 29.43 seconds.

Wow, online isn't as broken as some say it is...that is, I haven't had any major glitches in the four or five races I ran. Straight thirds all around.

Honestly, if the next patch isn't released in the next 4-6 weeks... this most likely will end up being traded in at GameStop.
The fact that I got spun, hit in the side by Kurt Busch which spun me around, and then hit in the other side by Jimmie Johnson which caused me to roll and a caution doesn't fly... is crap.
Oh, but the next lap around when I went from 6th to 43rd... Dale Jr got into Mark Martin and he just simply spun around [and kept going!]... that got a caution. *sigh*.
---------
Anyone want to set up some online games sometime this week? I'm tired of playing with the "public" and them driving backards

I was going into pit road during my wasted 2 1/2 hours at Charlotte, and was ON PIT ROAD ALREADY....Joey Logano missed pit road and hit the cone and stopped. The cone, mind you. No wall, no other cars. The commitment cone. Stopped and started to back up to get on pit road, and the caution flew for that. I got shifted back onto the track, and was not allowed to pit under caution.

Hit me up, Vinnie-Ru, I'm on most of the weekend. The only thing I can't guarantee is the time I show up, since my sleep schedule is sketchy.

I won the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at Michigan International Speedway today. Dale Jr. lead 168 of 200 laps, including a spectacular pass of Scott Speed on Lap 198 to take the lead for good. 151 laps caution-free, and then there were 2 in a 3 lap span there. But no more after, so that was good.
I've got just 2 regular driver schemes left to unlock, Kyle Busch's Pedigree car, and Joey Logano's GameStop car. Hopefully those come after the next race or 2.
