I honestly think it was his time to go, so I don't miss him. I watched him since I was a little boy, enjoying the Rockers. After 20 years, the focus needs to be elsewhere.

I honestly think it was his time to go, so I don't miss him. I watched him since I was a little boy, enjoying the Rockers. After 20 years, the focus needs to be elsewhere. He left in 98, I was just about to turn 9 a few months later. So I have very little recollection of him until he returned in the NWO in what 2002? So by then at least I was 13, so basically his run from 2002-2010 was my real first look at HBK. I only got 8 years out of him. And hell for my own favorite wrestler, I remember watching some WCW but really it was after Flair came in and became part owner that I got a real taste of Flair. He came in at the very tail end of 2001. So I'm just going to say 2002 was his first full year back. I only got 2002-2008 for Flair. I was not old enough to see Flair in his prime, would have been great too. I mean just from watching youtube and DVD's it is amazing, what would have happened if I got to see it live? But I always will have the satisfaction of being able to see Flair and HBK as well as HHH and Nash, who returned that very night I was there. So I am happy I got to see them before they retired. But for sure I miss them both. I am kinda mad that Flair broke off his retirement, because it was perfect, but I am also glad that he did so I can see him wrestle some more. You can bet your ass that I will be huddled in front of my TV screen as I watch Ric Flair and Mick Foley go at it on Thursday. |

Can't wait for Flair/Foley. And yeah, I always miss HBK. But nothing a few DVD matches can't cure. I agree with C.J. except he should have won.  |

You guys can't talk about a TNA match in the WWE forums. 2 more posts before that backfires Slappy, I'm sorry that you missed the Rockers actually. But like me, you would have hated Shawn Michaels for years and years and YEARS (like I did) because of what he did to his tag team partner. I stopped watching WWE not long after that happened. |

I miss it too, but if we here it again then I'm praying it is just an appearance, he went out on the highest of highs that it would be impossible for him to top it. I'm hopig the next time we hear it is when he's making his way on stage to recieve his Hall Of Fame induction.
On a side note I loved the DX antics and matches from late last year.

My only gripe with Shawns retirement at this point, is that his last match should have been against Triple H.
Triple H should have eliminated Michaels at the Rumble, and Michaels turns on Triple H, and then they feud and Wrestlemania would have been [Heel] Michaels vs. [Face] Triple H. And even the Rumble could set it up for Triple H to be heel again (H-B-K IS DEAD!!!!)
After the lackluster WM26 match, I almost feel robbed as a die-hard HBK fan because that match couldnt hold a candle to the WM25 match.

I miss him but I don't want him to come back. he seems secure with his retirement and living happily at home with his family so don't need him back.

I wasnt sad to see him go, wasnt a big fan of HBK but respected him and what he has done in his career.
But as of late I have felt like I am missing HBK, its just weird without him.

Always has been my favorite. I'm happy he left on good terms, though, and spending time with his family. He really deserves that time. Surely I miss seeing him each week on Raw, but it was his time to go.
