I've never tried to do this, but I don't think it would quite as easy as Andre makes it look. Wow

This is very tough for a normal man to do. Andre was no mere normal man. Can you imagine how strong he would've been if he lifted weights and actually did strength training? Scary strong.

I never knew Andre was associated with the UWF. Is there any footage of him wrestling for Herb Abrams?

Obviously? Looks legit to me. The rip is jagged. Look at the mans hands.. I doubt that was fake.

What is really weird here, is how they showed a WWF figure on the UWF program.

The idea that everything involved in wrestling is a work is as ludicrous as someone who thinks everything is not.

Now if he had torn a King Kong Bundy LJN in half at the waist, that would really be something.

Nice clip, but my gosh Herb Abrams' UWF was awful. Though I do admit I watch it from time to time when I catch it on.

Believeable if this was 1977, but in 1987 andre couldnt even lift up a girl when making the princess bride, he didnt have the strength due to his illness. Anyway, who knows.

This is crazy!! Not that Andre tore the LJN in half but that he was in UWF. I don't ever remember him being with that organization. What year was that?? Because he was with the WWE up until at least August 1991 cause he was at Summerslam helping the Bushwhackers vs. Natural Disasters. And then the last time I seen him was on WCW Clash of the Champions Fall Brawl show in September 1992.

The clip you are watching was not from Herb Abrams UWF, it is from Bill Watt's UWF, which soldout to WCW in 1987. Herb Abrams opened up his own version of UWF in 1990 using some of the previous UWF stars. Sorry to act like a know it all, but I would hate for people to confuse the 2 UWF's, because the Abrams version was an abomination.
