Ah, the Brutality Days of the West Side...I can see the Bulls winning against the Rockets and the Kings. They have the Lakers, Mavs, and Suns games as likely losses. I'll be happy with a 3-4 as well, but if they go 4-3 or 5-2, I'll be impressed. Yeah Lakers, and Mavs will be really hard, Suns could go ether way, but yeah it was a good way to get it started last night, batteling back and all. Tonight will be tough against the Spurs, but not as bad as the three others listed above, so I'm hopin for a win tonight. Man, I'd be much more confident with Carlos I dunno the Spurs are 8-1

12 points in the 3rd quarter. Cool Bulls.

I know LA beat up on Detroit but they might have the best Laker team of this era right now.
With Barnes off the bench and Blake fitting right in, Artest and Odom's apparent improved fitness and Kobe not looking to hindered by his injuries... yea I dunno if any of the recent teams (even the early 2000 teams) are better than this. Gasol is just too good, as well. Scary thing is, Bynum isn't even back yet.
Maybe they can push for 65 wins if everybody stays on course (health).

Don't forget about Shannon Brown! He makes the most of his limited minutes.

Don't forget about Shannon Brown! He makes the most of his limited minutes. Brown looks greatly improved. His shooting from long range looks better but also when he drives the lane he seems to be more alert looking to pass out if it's the right move. These are great additions to an already very athletic player's game. You gotta give him some acclaim for improving that shot, so early in his career.

Sam Bowie was actually healthy for a few games He also got the team Buck Williams who took the team from being just a playoff team to contender status. Oden is done, but his contract is expiring, so they might be able to get something in return, especially if they package him with a couple of other players, maybe Williams good, but something, which is better than nothing.

I do feel for Portland. However, I remember how badly I wanted the Hawks to luck into the #1 pick to get Oden. I mean really bad. In retrospect, I am glad they had to settle for Horford and it happened to someone else.

On a side note, screw NBA2K11. NBA Jam is where it's at.

Oden was the right pick for a team like the Blazers, but to pass over Kevin Durant for any reason in hindsight is gonna be a brutal black eye on this team

Should teams make a move for Oden? I would think that the Blazers would like to get rid of him, and some teams might still see potential and be willing to take on that risk.

Well, he will be a free agent after this year, and teams will be able to sign him for cheap. A lot of teams will give him a shot, just for the potential.

It's probably best to turn the page.
He could still come back and be a very productive player, It's not like he's Kwame Brown or LaRue Martin, he's actually a talented player, I saw him dominate games, but I think it’s time for the Blazers and even Greg to depart from one another. This fanbase and organization need for him to disappear, no more wondering and hoping that if he returns the Blazers can become a dominant team. They need to move on and start planning for a future without him. For Greg, he needs to get the hell out of this town, it’s been a nightmare for him since he came here. He needs a change of scenery, one that doesn’t come with expectations that feels like the weight of the world is on his back. Two microfractures is brutal, but he is only 22 with very little mileage. The one surgery seemed to work without any recurring problems and with the pending lockout next season, he should be able to roll once the following season starts. Somebody will take a chance, I just don't think that team should be Portland.

He'll never even be as good as Big Z is right now.
What I want to know is, how or why does he need another microfracture surgery? Did he reinjure it during rehab? Was it never completely fixed? Or was he working out again and got hurt?
At least they still have Aldridge. But had Oden been healthy this while time, you gotta wonder how good he'd have been? He never looked impressive but he was never out there that long.
As for the 2K11 talk... in myplayer mode my guy got traded. I took my talents to south beach. I will be suddenly forgetting how to play in the Finals.
