Griffin for Slam Dunk competition please. Him by himself would probably be more entertaining than last year.

I think his game is more like a taller version of a young Charles Barkley.
Too bad he lost that game last night, though.

Amare was named NBA Eastern Conference player of the week because the Knicks decided to beat everybody on the West coast road trip.

Man, those were some filthy slams. I am a fan of straight up power slams like that, the second one is ridiculous with that vertical. He just keeps going up, and stays up.
I can't believe Toronto has 5 wins. God the East continues to suck.

Griffin actually made a more impressive play than that... chasing down his own offensive rebound on the other side of the basket (nearly out of bounds under the hoop) and pump faking and pivoting back in for the follow up.
It had been knocked nearly out of bounds by another player and he made the great save and was able to convert it back between a few defenders.

Bulls showed they can hang with LA, kept it close the whole game. I can't wait until Boozer comes back the Bulls will be a fun team to watch and hopefully this year they can make a playoff run.
Shannon Brown was nailing those 3's. He came off the bench HOT.

I dont usually pay attention to the NBA until the conf finals and finals but LOL and Lebron and the Heat. I just checked the standings for the first time to see they're barely a .500 team. I guess we know what he meant when he said he would do "The Decision" differently now huh haha

They are a bit of a wreck right now, it's pretty funny. They haven't quite figured it out yet, but it's only the first month of what...five years? I'd be shocked if they didn't turn it around, we've seen splashes of what they can do and it's pretty scary.

They've only beat up on the 76ers and Nets though.
Put him on NY or Chicago and he's arguably got a shot at 2nd best record in the league behind the Spurs. Especially considering NY has led in the 4th of every game they've played and they need a finisher.
Wade is showing how inconsistent people like LeBron should have realized he can be. If he's going to crap the bed some nights, what help is left on those nights?
he took his 60 win talent to South Beach to team up with .500 win talent in Bosh and Wade. I could see if he was bringing one to Cleveland but they didn't want to do that.
Hey, Beasley has no problem producing next to the group in Minnesota. It's not like Wade was a bust these last few years with absolutely nothing. Wade was a bust when he played poorly. Compare it to the talent LeBron had around him in Cleveland.
At least Amare and Derek Rose, although not the only players on those teams, were competing against NBA Champions in the playoffs.
Wasn't a hard decision. Wasn't hard to see the flaws in the Miami decision. Just find my diatribe from July. It's a reality now.

That's not true. I remember them crushing Orlando and the Suns. I think they have one of the highest point differentials in the league and you don't do that by just beating up on two teams. And most of their losses were close games, so after one month of play(the throw away month) they're really not as bad as the media is making them out to be. They have their issues and are still adjusting, but as far as a making a mistake to play there goes...time will tell.

Merit worthy points but LeBron talked about 7 championships and not even needing a point guard; "just put Pat Riley out there and just throw it up and we'll go and get it" The media is just going with what they were told. A lot of their losses have been pathetic and Phoenix is nothing to marvel at these days. edit: I checked into the Orlando one due to being curious... everybody but Howard played like crap. Howard only took 15 shots too, but it was the usual suspect of Jameer Nelson with an atrocious game at point guard... 1 assist and 3-11 shooting... yikes. I'm always claiming he disappears in the big moments, and this is no different. Still no excuse, but that was one of the game's Wade shot well in: sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=301029014good win for the Heat, but I don't expect Orlando to shoot that poorly often and Nelson is playing a lot better against them, literally, right now.

5 in a row for the Knicks.
Amare with 6 blocks tonight and at least 2 in each game of the winning streak. He's also been an and 1 machine.

Amare is a beast, but Felton has been going crazy so far this year. He's been decent with his steals, but he's knocking down his 3 ball alot so far. They still need another big to be a title contender.
Go young clippers!!! Trade away Kaman n Davis!

Yeah, I don't think he minds sitting at all. I don't think the clips mind him sitting either. He has no spot in the league the way he is at the moment.
