Meanwhile, they're learning to build human like robots over in Japan. I don't care what your feelings on Gaga are. This class is stupid. This reminds me of when some ivy league school started a course dedicated to solving the Rubicks Cube. It's dumb, pointless, and a waste. I fail to see how this will succeed to expand one's intellect.

After she gets hit in the head with the flowers, notice how her mouth stops moving, but the vocal track keeps going. Pretty sure she was lip syncing on this song. Dude that was at the chorus of the song pretty much all artists sing-along to a pre-recording of the chorus during concert. Hell when you do karaoke there are vocal during the chorus of songs

But anywho... I love when Gaga gets behind a piano. I'm not a huge fan of most of her music, but that's mostly because Dance Hall is not really my thing. I do know enough about it to make me laugh at the "it doesn't take talent to make it" comments tons of people make. But I don't really care to argue about it, so I'll leave my thoughts at that. I would actually love to take a sociology of fame class, though not really focused on her. realistically, it should start with Edie Sedgwick, and focus on more people who because hugely famous, and especially ones who are famous only for being famous. After Edie, do a bit on Twiggy, all the crazy famous people of the 80s (Mr. T, The Barbarian Brothers, The Barbie Twins, etc). Then go to reality stars and music artist that use their fame in crazy ways such as Gaga and Manson. I rambled a bit, but fame is an interesting thing to me. That's just another reason I love the 80s is because of how people got famous for crazy reasons.

Because they are ALL the same. All of them create "music" that takes no talent to produce, has no meaning, and serves no purpose to the world. Lady Gagalot is a PERFECT example of this. The only reason she exists is to get record companies plenty of cash, because they know that all of the little 13 year old sluts and scene kids will mindlessly bow down to her as if she is a "goddess". They could throw anyone on the radio, and each time, people will basically force themselves to like this new "artist" or "band". It's ridiculous. I'm so glad I have morals and don't let the music industry shove this s*** down my throat. Explain to me how the song "Poker Face" has anything in it that involves talent to produce. Please, enlighten me, it's a terrible song, end of story. Wow dude, you really need to get a grip. wow, nice cop out since you couldn't deal with what he said. symmetry is the sole voice of reason in this thread, most of you just can't deal with it.

How exactly does she have good lyrics..
She repeats the same thing over and over like Lil Wayne, and rips off other artist on style ( see Madonna & M.I.A. )
She does play piano good, has a good voice and can sing. About it. She has an amazing voice and plays the piano incredibly, that's nothing to scoff at. You make it seem like her only talent is juggling while hopping on one leg. so can my sister. [/thread]

No not everyone has demons. It's this kind of thought process that makes it so easily to rationalize the ability to be a dreg of society... just saying. It's a very "woe is me" mentality. I don't support an alcoholic. Sure if they're capable of getting clean ala Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield then sure they deserve my support for conquering their demons as you put it. But Jim Neidhart is an alcoholic and there have been instances where paying fans have suffered for it in recent years.... I'm not supporting that. And failing that if he can troll so can I

He's bashing everyone who is a fan of Lady GaGa and her kind of music and fashion. And THAT is a voice of reason? You really have a warped sense of reality. Symmetry is the reason why I am, at times, ashamed to openly admit to being a metalhead because he is the epitome of why we metalheads get sh*t on for liking that kind of music. To him, it's metal or nothing, and that is the absolute WRONG mindset to have in today's world. I admit, I was like that in 2003-2004, but then you know what happened? I GREW THE F*CK UP!

dude...to him, it's not metal or nothing. that's the way you're choosing to interpret his posts. he's saying the truth completely...people SHOULD have some shame for supporting such a dreadful act as lady gaga. it's kept other deserving musicians back and it's just a cancer in the music industry. there's enough attention whores.
