Luke Collins Vs Gary Ingersoll
With Collins holding the clear size advantage, he was able to easily gain control of Ingersoll's back and get a submission.
Winner via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) Luke Collins (RD 1 1:49)
Light Heavyweight Bout
Ryan Harrison Vs Ivan Stang
Harrison, also with a slight size advantage, was able to squeeze a decision victory over the mohawk sporting Stang.

Battle of the Brothers
Ben McCoy Vs Franklin McCoy
Solid heavyweight bout to open the show. The crowd was very pleased with this one as it brought good combat, but the fact that the two brothers were enjoying the fight. More smiles were exchanged than punches. A heated stand up battle continued through two rounds until Ben McCoy was on the wrong end of a vicious head kick. This gave Franklin the TKO victory.
Winner via TKO Franklin McCoy (RD 2 4:01)
Heavyweight Bout
Michael Christopher Vs Chad Hicks
The big Chad Hicks went for it all in his heavyweight bout against Michael Christopher, yet he came up short. An understatement for the match Christopher put on would be, "absolute beatdown." This match was over with a KO in the mid-second round.

The Light Heavyweight Debut of Mike Fontaine
Mike Fontaine Vs Don Justus
The crowd was extremely excited that the bigger fights were now beginning. The Light Heavyweight debut of Mike Fontaine was nothing short of entertaining. Strong kicks, hard punches, and simply devastating blows were delivered throughout. The fight worked it's way into the third and final round, and ended with a bang. Justus went for a spinning back kick, which looked perfect, but Fontaine caught it and scored a TKO victory.
Winner via TKO Mike Fontaine (RD 3 1:59)
Post Fight Interview: Fontaine was quite excited to end the fight not only as the winner, but with such an explosive finish. He respectfully gave Justus credit for giving him a great fight, and thanked the usual people for helping him in training.
AMMA Light Heavyweight Championship
Jerome Carillo (c) Vs Jin Yamato
THIS fight was a good one. It happened to be the only fight on the main card which went to decision. By the time the fourth round was reached, Carillo was completely gassed. Yamato, playing the defensive role for the entire fight, had the advantage as he had not wasted much energy. With Carillo slow and groggy, Yamato threw Carillo and had an easy time regaining the points he needed to win.
Winner via Unanimous Decision and NEW AMMA Light Heavyweight Champion Jin Yamato

Very nice show, it's difficult to reply in depthly to an MMA sim though, haha. Especially a sign up one. Jin Yamato winning the title is pretty cool, though, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Didn't expect Yamato to become champ, good to see though. Liked the brother vs. brother clash and the Fontaine win as well. Good luck and keep this up.

This is SO well, written, man. I like of course that Fontaine won his LH debut, and that Jin won the title, I'd love to make history and become the first two division champion by beating Jin.

It's great to see a MMA diary on the sims board. I've read this a few times before, but I may as well return the favor of your reply to me. I hope that you can keep up something you enjoy and I will try to get more into all the fighters as this continues on.

| EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH IVAN STANG: In an interview we had with AMMA Light Heavyweight Ivan Stang, he claimed he's been inspired. He's seen Mike Fontaine drop a weight class and turn his success around. He claimed to give the light heavyweight division one last attempt in his fight during the AMMA 9 prelims. He claimed saying if Gary Ingersoll gets lucky and beats him, he will move on. He also told us his entire plan for himself in the Middleweight division. He plans to explode onto the scene so that he will have the first opportunity at the first Middleweight Champion. After that, he told us some things about his childhood, but you don't really care for that. |

Chris Garza (0-6) Vs Logan Collins (1-0) Very nice match here. Both men showed that they are determined to be champion, as they fought it out the whole three rounds. Logan showed us that he earned his brown belt in Judo by throwing Garza on multiple occasions. Not to be put away early, Garza fought back, earning him major points. In the end, Garza could not end Collins, and the points were not in his favor. Winner via Unanimous Decision Logan CollinsMiddleweight Championship Tournament Round 1Fredrick Kasper (0-1) Vs Patrick Smith (1-1) Kasper showed a lot of heart in this fight with Smith, who was a bit sluggish very quickly. Leg kicks brought Smith to his demise in the second round, as he was put away with a swift combination of strikes. Winner via TKO Fredrick Kasper (RD 2 3:32)Middleweight Championship Tournament Round 1Cameron Popplestone (0-0) Vs Greg Fierro (1-0) Fierro, like on the canceled reality show, was very cocky, but Popplestone did away with that really quickly. His strong punches bloodied Fierro and finished him on the spot. Love this, man, great way to get some of the lesser known fighters in.
Would love to see Cam take it all and be the MW champ. I wouldn't have ended the show with two debuts, however.

| NEW POINTS SYSTEM ANNOUCNED: The AMMA have made a game-changing announcement. Now, to earn a title shot, you must have a total of two 'points.' The way you earn a point would be by winning a match, whether on a PPV or on TV. If you are to lose a fight, you will be re-set at zero. This system is in effect now, and all title opportunities previously announced will stay. This means the Middleweight Championship Tournament is unaffected. |

Good start to the tournament, poor Garza going winless so long. Glad i won my debut, thought two debuts to end the show did sseem weird, but good nevertheless

All looking good and as others have said its a nice way of introducing new characters. Popplestone looks like a man to be messed with. The new points situation should shake things up a little.
