Fight is coming up in a few weeks. Pretty good card from top to bottom in my opinion. A lot of potentially exciting fights on the main card, especially Lytle vs. Condit.

The main card actually looks fantastic. A lot of people are complaining that this is a PPV event and not a free one, but I think just having the kind of main event this has, it needs to be like that. BJ is a big enough name to bring some interest.
- Condit vs. Lytle is going to be a WAR. Both guys like to stand and both guys are very well-rounded and hard to finish. I see this going all 3 rounds with action every second of the fight. Condit will have a reach advantage, but I doubt it'll stop Lytle from getting on the inside and landing some shots. Condit by decision.
- I LOVE me some Dennis Siver, but I think he will be sort of outmatched here. Sotiropoulos is a fairly well-rounded fighter and he is a maniac on the ground. I don't think Siver will have too much trouble in the standup, but as long as Sotiropoulos tries to take him down, Siver will have tons of trouble. I really like both guys, but its sort of a mismatch with a pure striker meeting more of a grappler. I think Sotiropoulos takes this by submission in round 2. I'm also not too sure why this isn't the co-main event. I guess Siver isn't a big enough name for a PPV co-main event.
- Another Bisping fight, another fight where I want to see him get smashed. Jorge Rivera is getting pretty overlooked here. He's the only guy to really ever take it to Nate Quarry on his feet like he did, and he's also a fairly well-rounded fighter too, but he lacks the skills off his back to be able to submit Bisping. Don't be shocked to see Bisping try and take this to the ground. I think Rivera has the more fluid striking skills, and Bisping lacks the striking defense to want to stand with him for long periods of time. With that said, I hope Rivera catches him and finishes him early.
- Quite a huge fight with Penn vs. Fitch. I'm actually kind of suprised they would make this fight, with Fitch being ranked the #2 welterweight in the world, and Penn not being ranked for a good while. After Penn's win against Hughes, I thought the next logical step was to go against someone like Dan Hardy, but I guess not. We all know Fitch's style -- stay on the feet for a short time, close the distance and take you down and grind you out. Fitch to me is probably one of the best and amazing fighters out there, but at the same time, one of the worst because of his lack of wanting to finish fights. Every pre-fight interview he states "I'm going to finish this fight", but from what he does in the cage, it looks as if he doesn't even want to finish anyone. He seems content with just forcing his wrestling game on guys and smothering him. Penn is unlike anyone Fitch has ever fought -- Top-notch striking, great takedown defense, and WORKS OFF HIS BACK. That's a huge issue for Fitch. Everyone he has fought, he has been able to takedown easily, but luckily for him, none of those guys really had any BJJ skills of their back. I think Penn knows he'll be taken down and will work his rubber guard to try and submit or sweep Fitch. I think that will happen, but I also think Fitch will standup for a little too long with Penn, and Penn will throw counters and knock Fitch the out. Go BJ!!
