I hope BJ Penn knocks Fitch's head into the 11th row, but all I can see is Fitch grapplef**king him for 15 minutes. Penn lands a good combo, Fitch shoots, they're against the cage, Fitch gets him down, lays on him for a few minutes then Penn gets up. Rinse and repeat for 3 rounds. Fitch puts me to sleep every time. I hope this card becomes a freebie(yeah, its on PPV now, but hope it gets changed) because there's no way I'll ever pay $50.00 to watch The Human Blanket in the main event and Michael Bisping in the co-main event.

C/S I hope BJ dominates him like GSP did

Updated with the full card, along with my thoughts and predictions.

Just to note, Fisher/Pearson and Hunt/Tuchscherer are airing on ESPN in the UK.

Hasn't been confirmed that Hunt vs. Tuchscherer will be on that. I have only read Fisher vs. Pearson will be on there.

Odd, I read that Hunt/Tuchscherer was on the broadcast too, but just seen that Jon Anik said on MMA Live that it's only Pearson/Fisher. Would've liked to see Jewtuszko/Warburton on there too... Curt looked great against Fisher and Maciej steamrolled through Anthony Njokuani at WEC 50.

I just thought about this.....if BJ Penn beats Fitch he pretty much leap frogs everyone in the WW division and would probably be a win away from a title shot. BUT what happens if GSP beats Shields, vacates the WW title, and moves to 185 permanently? Will Dana make up a mini tournament kinda like Strikeforce or will he just setup up an immediate title fight between the #1 and #2 contenders?

I would say that BJ has a better chance at getting the WW title if GSP vacates and goes to 185. If GSP beats Shields and BJ beats Fitch, expect to see something like BJ vs. Shields for the title.

I would hate to see Shields get another title shot so soon. I would much rather see something like Condit vs. Penn....but you are probably right.

I would hate to see Shields get another title shot so soon. I would much rather see something like Condit vs. Penn... A lot might depend on how Shields looks against GSP... if he's totally outclassed or stopped, I can't see him getting another title shot so soon. I'd Prefer Penn Vs Condit or Alves. I'm not looking past Fitch though...

I wouldn't count Fitch out at all either.(and that's coming from one of Penn's biggest fans). I hate to say it, but it all depends on...'sigh' which BJ shows up.
Frankie Edgar/GSP Penn shows up = Fitch blankets him to a UD
P4P LW God Penn shows = Fitch either gets rocked and dropped or subbed.

Awesome, I can't wait, will be my first UFC event and the roof will explode for George, no doubt.

Lytle was great last year against Brian Foster, the leglock he got him in was brutal, he's one of my favourite welterweights for sure. It is a shame about Condit, but here's hoping he recovers quickly.

Dana said the winner of the main event will be the new #1 Contender.
Then again, he did say that for Fitch/Alves as well, lololololol.

He said that, but changed his mind after Fitch put the crowd to sleep. (Thankfully)

I hope Penn wins. Fitch is so strong though with his wrestling.

I spoke to one of Penn's trainers/buddies last night and he said the whole team is very confident in the gameplan BJ's put together to stop Fitch. They also brought in Matt Hughes to imitate Fitch's "blanket style" of wrestling.
So just putting that out there. After speaking with his corner-man, I have full faith in BJ.
