Raw Superstars Taping Results: 1. Eve def. Alicia Fox with a Moonsault. 2. Tyson Kidd (with Jackson Andrews) def. William Regal with the Code Blue.
WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW @ Detroit, MI. on January 24, 2011
Michael Cole, Scott Stanford and CM Punk are at the announce table to welcome us to the show.
R-Truth won a 10-man Battle Royal to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble match10 Raw Superstars who have still yet to qualify for the Royal Rumble match went at it here in what was dubbed the “Last Chance Rumble” with the winner earning a spot in the Royal Rumble match in just 6 days time live on pay-per-view. The first elimination of the match came when the 7’2” Jackson Andrews dumped Darren Young over and out not long into the match. ( Elimination 1: Darren Young) Jackson wasn’t the only 7” Superstar in this match as The Great Khali was also featured. Khali and Andrews, despite being face and heel respectively, worked as a unit to eliminate Jey Uso. ( Elimination 2: Jey Uso) Jimmy Uso attempted to save his tag team partner, but it was too late and he reliased his punches had no affect on neither Jackson or Khali. The giants then grabbed Jimmy and launched him out of the ring. ( Elimination 3: Jimmy Uso) Alex Riley was trying to eliminate R-Truth across the ring but R-Truth was holding on for dear life. Luckily for him, he was able to kick Riley off him and re-enter the ring. As Truth tried to recover, A-Ri charged at him but Truth dropped to the floor and pulled the top rope down sending Riley crashing to the floor! ( Elimination 4: Alex Riley) Zack Ryder attempted to lift Khali up for a Suplex, but he had no luck and Khali instead head butted Ryder and sent him packing over and out. ( Elimination 5: Zack Ryder) As Khali celebrated, Jackson Andrews turned on him and we had our first battle of the two largest Superstars in the WWE today. Khali and Andrews exchanged punches before they were soon battling on the ropes with Khali trying to dump Andrews over. Khali was eventually able to send Andrews packing. ( Elimination 6: Jackson Andrews) As Khali laughed at Andrews from the ring, Ted DiBiase and Maryse came running down the ramp. With Khali distracted, the rest of the remaining Superstars all worked together to eliminate Khali! ( Elimination 7: The Great Khali) Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty (2/3 of the Nexus) were left with R-Truth now, with 1 of the men advancing to the Royal Rumble. As they stood in a triangle position circling the ring, Truth attacked Harris but McGillicutty attacked Truth. Harris and McGillicutty worked together on Truth but he fought back and after McGillicutty accidentally hit Harris with the pair of brass knuckles he intended on hitting Truth with, R-Truth threw Michael out! ( Elimination 8: Michael McGillicutty) As Harris used the ropes to get to his feet, R-Truth spun him round and began to unload with a series of forearm shots to the big man. As Truth climbed to the top rope, McGillicutty grabbed Eve hostage at ringside. Truth hopped off the top rope and onto the apron as he yelled at McGillicutty to let Eve go. Husky Harris charged at Truth but Truth flipped over the rope and rolled over the back of Harris. As Truth stood behind Husky, it wasn't long before Husky turned around into a wicked Enziguri that sent Harris crashing into the top rope and after a minor botch of not jumping high enough over the ropes, Harris fell to the floor! ( Elimination 9: Husky Harris) Eve climbed onto the apron and entered the ring, hugging Truth who got a great response from the crowd as the announcers were reeling from Truth landing on the barrier. Truth and Eve celebrated him winning a spot in the Royal Rumble! Commercial Break Wade Barrett is in JBL's office complaining about not being featured on the show tonight. After a few moments of Barrett ranting, Layfield stands up and tells Barrett that he is sick and tired of listening him whining and complaining and he knows that the WWE Universe are tired of it too. So tonight, he's making an adjustment to the main event. Rather than just being The Miz and Sheamus taking on John Morrison and Randy Orton, it will now be Barrett, Miz and Sheamus taking on Orton, Morrison and JOHN CENA! Barrett is furious and tells Layfield that they have a no contact rule implemented. Layfield tells Wade that the rule, as of tonight, is no more!! David "A-List" Otunga def. Primo (with A.J.) Having AJ at his side was not enough to help Primo tonight as Otunga seems to be picking up steam rather quickly since he split from Nexus and Slater & Gabriel. He showed off some of his brute strength by tossing Primo around. Primo did manage to get in some high flying offense, but fell victim to the Verdict. The Bella Twins are bickering backstage at who U.S Champion, Daniel Bryan likes better when Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews appear. Kidd tells them that Daniel is a loser and they should be on his arm. Nikki seems interested in Tyson and she walks off with him and Jackson, leaving Brie alone. Commercial Break United States Champion, Daniel Bryan (with Brie Bella) def. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) in a non-title matchDiBiase and Bryan had a good match back at Survivor Series and this was no different. It started with Ted in control as he hit a clothesline, powerslam and back breaker. He went for the Million Dollar Dream but Bryan reversed it into a pin attempt for a near fall. He took over at that point and hit a flurry of moves, nearly gaining the win after a big German suplex. In the end, Ted went for another huge clothesline, but Bryan caught his arm and trapped it into the LeBell Lock and DiBiase tapped out. Tyson Kidd appears at the top of the ramp with Jackson Andrews and Nikki Bella as Brie and Daniel Bryan don't look happy with Nikki. Commercial Break Ashley Valence is in the back with John Cena, who is looking pumped for the main event tonight. Cena tells Ashley that he has been waiting weeks to get his hands on Wade Barrett and that he can't thank John Bradshaw Layfield for getting rid of their No Contact rule. Cena tells Barrett that tonight will just be a taste of what's to come in 6 days at the Royal Rumble. WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov (with Tamina) def. JBL's Personal Security in a non-title match via DisqualificationThe mysterious team of Raw General Manager JBL's Security Team wrestled in their usual black get-ups along with riot helmets to hide their identities. JBL's Personal Security dominated Santino in the early going by displaying scary amounts of power and strength. When Santino was able to fight back and make the tag to Kozlov, the Russian Powerhouse cleared the ring and looked to finish off one of the Security Guard's with the Iron Curtain, but he was ambushed by the other Security Guard with a baton throwing the match out! The Security Guards beat up Kozlov with a baton each before they take Santino out with it! The Security stand tall in the ring as Tamina stands on the outside, too scared to enter the ring. Commercial Break Melina def. Gail Kim The Divas Champion Natalya was on commentary during this bout and that led to a lot of taunting from the number one contender. She took Gail lightly, which allowed her to get in some good offense and even hit the Eat Defeat. She covered but Melina got her foot on the bottom rope. Shortly after that, she forced Kim to submit to the California Dream. Melina keeps the hold locked in even after the match. Natalya charges to the ring and slides in as Melina runs at the Divas Champion, only to get tackled to the mat! Natalya attempts the Sharpshooter on Melina but she kicks Natalya off her and is able to just roll under the bottom rope and to the floor! Melina lies on the floor outside as Natalya grabs her Divas Championship and raises it high above her. Commercial Break Ashley Valence is once again backstage, this time with the WWE Champion, The Miz and Alex Riley. Miz takes the microphone off Ashley and tells her to go away and look pretty somewhere else because this screen-time is for the WWE Champion. Miz says that not even the addition of John Cena to their team will help Morrison and Orton prevail tonight because aslong as he is in the opposing team, himself, Sheamus and Wade will prevail. John Cena, John Morrison and Randy Orton def. WWE Champion, The Miz, Sheamus and Wade Barrett (with Alex Riley) The show comes to a close tonight with a blockbuster 6-man tag with the Barrett/Cena no contact rule lifted just for this match and this match only. However, Barrett was too scared to be in the ring the same time as Cena and would leave whenever Cena got tagged in so the heels isolated Morrison from making the tag to Cena or Orton for a good portion of the match. However, JoMo mounted a comeback and took Barrett down with an Enziguri. Morrison made the tag to Cena, who entered the ring but upon seeing Cena, Barrett left the ring and bailed through the crowd! Cena took it upon himself to flip Miz into the ring as Orton and Sheamus went at it on the outside. Cena hit Miz with the Attitude Adjustment before making the tag to a hurt JoMo, who pulled off a Starship Pain and pinned the WWE Champion 1-2-3 just 6 days before their title match!

-R-Truth is getting a pretty decent push in real-life so the realism staying is good. -Otunga over Primo proved as a decent match, not much behind it but had the right result. -Daniel Bryan over Ted DiBiase is the right call too. Hope that Ted pulls the US Title. -Interesting for them face security, but oh well, the DQ made things more interesting. -Melina over Kim is fine either way here. -Great to see Cena get his first win here, the faces winning is the right call and believe it or not, Morrison has a chance to win, but I see Miz winning. -Good show; good luck at taking this to WM; looking forward to the Royal Rumble.

Considering the guys involved in the battle royal match, I wasn’t surprised to see R-Truth go over. Not a fan of getting rid of the no contact rule for Barrett/Cena. The rule added a lot of interest to the match as Cena would be itching to get his hands on Barrett. I don’t know, I just think that shouldn’t have been done. The next four matches were all predictable or in some cases just not interesting. Bryan/DiBiase was the most interesting and was most likely a good match. A obvious decision to have Morrison pin Miz to give the impression that Morrison could win the main event, but he won’t I’d have to assume. A loaded main event. Very happy to see that Barrett and Cena still didn’t touch each other. Seemed like a cheap way to keep the viewers interested, which WWE would do. Overall, aside from the main event it seemed like a lackluster show but that’s fine. Usually the Rumble match prevents any other angles to be developed and all that. So, its understandable.

SmackDown Superstars Taping Results: 1. Yoshi Tatsu def. Chavo Guerrero with a Roundhouse Kick. 2. Chris Masters def. Tyler Reks with the Masterlock.
WWE SMACKDOWN @ Birmingham, AL. on January 28, 2011
Matt Striker and Josh Matthews welcome us to SmackDown from Birmingham, Alabama. They announce our main event as the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler facing Kane in a non-title affair.
Kaval and Kofi Kingston def. The Dudebuster's to qualify for the 2011 Royal Rumble matchAfter stealing a tag team victory over Kaval and Yoshi Tatsu last week on Superstars, tonight The Dudebuster's of Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins challenged Kaval and a different partner, this time in Kofi Kingston. Kaval and Kofi work well as a team, but the tag experience of Hawkins and Barreta helps them keep control over Kofi and Kaval and try earn their spot in the Royal Rumble in 48 hours time. Barreta and Hawkins set Kofi up for a Double DDT, but Kaval helps Kofi fight them off and allows Kofi to hit Barreta with the S.O.S and earn himself and Kaval a spot in the Rumble match! Commercial Break Lay-Cool are backstage fixing their hair in their Slammy's when Vickie Guerrero approaches them. Vickie tells them that tonight they've got Kelly Kelly and Kaitlyn in tag team action and she wants nothing more than for Kaitlyn to be taking out. Layla and Michelle tell Vickie it would be their honor to take Kaitlyn out. Lay-Cool def. Kelly Kelly and Kaitlyn Kaitlyn's ring time was quite limited here tonight and for the time she did spend in the ring, she was being picked apart by both Michelle and Layla. When Kaitlyn was eventually able to fight back and tag in Kelly who took Layla down with a series of clotheslines before knocking McCool off the apron and to the floor! Kelly hit Layla with the K2 before tagging in Kaitlyn, who picked a dazed Layla up and set her up for the Wedgie Flatliner until Vickie Guerrero came screeching down the rampway! With K3 (Kelly Kelly and Kaitlyn) distracted, Layla tagged in Michelle who took Kaitlyn down with a stiff Big Boot as Layla held Kelly down, allowing McCool the 3. Vickie begins to yell at Kaitlyn while Lay-Cool kick Kelly to the outside. Dolph Ziggler comes to the ring and gets in between Kaitlyn and Vickie with Vickie telling Dolph to step aside so she can teach Kaitlyn a lesson. Dolph steps aside and Kaitlyn tackles Vickie to the mat before Kaitlyn and Dolph walk up the ramp hand in hand. Commercial Break Rey Mysterio def. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes via DisqualificationFantastic first hour main event here as Rey went up against Rhodes, who was still wearing his face mask after being on the receiving end of a Trouble in Paradise from Kofi Kingston a few weeks back. The match was slow to start as Cody would roll out of the ring anytime he was taken down by Rey and he would readjust his mask. After 3 or 4 times of fixing his mask, Rey took the fight to Cody on the outside and eventually got him back in the ring where Cody took control. After about 10 minutes of action, Rey nailed a drop toe hold and Cody scattered to the floor. As he fixed his mask, Rey attemped to pull him into the ring again but Cody cracked Rey with his face mask causing the disqualification loss! Cody begins to lay into Rey by repeatedly whacking him with the face mask. Cody puts the mask back on before setting Rey up for the Cross Rhodes until Kofi Kingston hits the ring. Cody drops Rey, grabs his face mask and bails from ringside! Commercial Break Cody Rhodes is storming down the hallway backstage when Todd Grisham catches up with him. Cody tells Todd that Kofi Kingston ruined his perfect face and he will get revenge! Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger are backstage ahead of their tag team match. Drew tells Swagger that they are the future of the company and shouldn't be relegated to tag team matches with Ezekiel Jackson and David Hart Smith. Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger def. Ezekiel Jackson and David Hart Smith2 different feuds in Jack Swagger/Ezekiel Jackson and Drew McIntyre/David Hart Smith come together for this tag team match. Since being drafted to SmackDown from Raw, Smith and Jackson have had problems with McIntyre and Swagger respectively. The team of Jackson and Smith work well due to their power but McIntyre and Swagger's heelish antics help them work over David Hart. After fighting them both off, Smith makes the tag to Jackson who clears the ring of both McIntyre and Swagger before setting Swagger up for the Book of Ezekiel. Drew attempts to help Swagger, but Smith attacks him and Jackson and Smith nail a Book of Ezekiel and a Running Powerslam on Swagger and McIntyre respectively for a simultaneous 3 count. Swagger and McIntyre recruit at the bottom of the ramp and the pair bicker about the loss as Smith and Jackson celebrate in the ring. Commercial Break Big Show def. Joseph MercurySince the end of the Straight Edge Society, Mercury has struggled to find his place on the SmackDown roster and has yet to win a match since his return from an injury that sidelined him for several months. Mercury's shots didn't have any effect on the massive Big Show, who had no trouble in putting Joseph away with the Showstopper. The referee raises Show's hand before he points at the WrestleMania XXVII sign. Commercial Break Todd Grisham is in the back with Kane, who will face Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match just moments from now. Kane tells Todd that tonight, he's going to tear Dolph apart limb by limb and mess up his perfect face before laughing manically. Kane comes across as even more psychotic than usual in this interview. Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler (with Kaitlyn) def. Kane in a non-title matchDolph Ziggler came to the ring with Kaitlyn rather than Vickie Guerrero. Kane and Dolph worked a solid match here with Dolph proving that he is capable of hanging with the main eventers here in the WWE as he pulled off alot of fantastic moves here on Kane. With Kaitlyn in his corner firmly cheering him on, Dolph was encouraged to fight that little bit harder. Vickie Guerrero came storming to the ring, looking furious as she grabs Kaitlyn by the hair and throws her into the guardrail. Vickie walks up the ramp pleased with herself as Dolph turns around into a Chokeslam from Kane! Kane isn't happy with just a Chokeslam as he then sets Dolph up for a Tombstone Piledriver but Dolph wriggles free off Kane's shoulders and nails the Zig Zag for the win. Dolph doesn't celebrate his win but instead checks on Kaitlyn, who is still down after being thrown to the side by Vickie. Dolph cradles Kaitlyn at ringside as we cut to the back. Commercial Break The ring is set for the Cutting Edge as the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge proceeds to make his way down the ramp and into the ring. Edge introduces the guest here tonight on the Cutting Edge and his opponent in just 2 days time at the Royal Rumble, his name is Alberto Del Rio - but you already know that! Del Rio makes a grand entrance but when he steps out his car, he doesn't look too happy. Del Rio complains that a Superstar of his status deserves to be introduced by his own personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, and not Edge. Del Rio threatens getting back in his car and reversing to the back to re-shoot his entrance. The crowd are all over Alberto. Del Rio re-does his entrance, complete with Ricardo Rodriguez introduction. The Cutting Edge eventually starts and Edge makes fun of Alberto for most of it. Alberto has had enough and he attempts to punch Edge, but Edge blocks it and knocks Del Rio down with a right hand shot! Del Rio pulls himself to his feet with assistance from the ring ropes as Edge is looking to nail the Spear as he's crouched in the corner. Ricardo rolls into the ring and holds onto Edge's foot, stopping him from charging at Alberto. With Edge not being able to move, Alberto attacks him and begins to put the boots to him. When Edge gets to his feet, Alberto drops him with a vicious German Suplex before holding the World Heavyweight Championship high! OOC: This show was rushed so we could move on with the Royal Rumble, so please let us get back into the swing of things.

-Kaval and Kofi Kingston winning here was the best call to make. Hope you guys add some relevance to Croft & Barreta. -I agree with Rhodes showing a more vicious side here on Mysterio. I wonder if their feud will go into WM. -McIntyre and Swagger going over is fine either way. I love the three counts at the same time. Nice to see Smith still relevant after his split with Kidd. -Big Show over Mercury was expected. -Ziggler over Kane was good for him since he's preparing for his World Heavyweight Championship Match at Royal Rumble. Oops. Just realized he wasn't. -Good way to end with the Cutting Edge. I can't wait for the Royal Rumble -Good show

WWE Royal Rumble January 30, 2011 from Boston, MA.
Michael Cole, CM Punk, Matt Striker and Josh Matthews welcome us to the first pay-per-view of the new year - the Royal Rumble! They rundown the card before we get the show on the road with a United States Championship match.
United States Champion, Daniel Bryan def. Tyson Kidd (with Jackson Andrews) to retainSome people were skeptical about this match getting on the card due to Tyson Kidd not drawing enough heat yet, but these two made it work. The contest began with some basic mat wrestling, which Daniel Bryan got the advantage of, although Kidd more than held his own. Shortly thereafter, Kidd gained the upper hand by utilizing all of the usual heel tactics. He raked Bryan in the eyes, pulled his tights, hit a low blow and allowed Andrews to attack Bryan while he distracted the referee. Bryan rallied from all of that and got a hot streak going, capped off with a big running elbow. He then delivered some stiff kicks right to Kidd’s chest before connecting with a huge one to his skull. He covered but Andrews got on the apron, distracting the referee. Bryan got up and leveled him with a huge kick as well. He turned to Kidd, who went for a clothesline, only for Bryan to catch his arm and hook the LeBelle Lock! After a short while, Kidd was forced to submit. The Bella Twins are backstage with John Bradshaw Layfield and the tumbler. Randy Orton enters the room and Brie and Nikki both spin the tumbler. They stop it and Orton reaches in, pulling out a ball. He reads the number and seems pleased before walking off and not revealing what his number in the Royal Rumble match will be. Ashley Valence is backstage with Melina just moments ahead of her match with Natalya for the Diva's Championship. Melina says that she is the top Diva not only on Raw but in the entire WWE. Melina says that Natalya might have the Diva's Championship but not for long because she'll make her tap out in the centre of the ring and you'll be looking at the new Diva's Champion. Diva's Champion, Natalya def. Melina in a Submission match to retainAfter turning her back on the WWE Universe a few weeks back, Melina has been in hot pursuit of Natalya's Diva's Championship and tonight was her shot at claiming the title and starting her second reign as the reigning champion. However, one thing Melina knew heading into this match was that Natalya is one of the toughest Diva's in the WWE and is also one of the most technically gifted ladies to ever grace a WWE ring. After battling it out the entire match, Melina looked to be setting Natalya up for the Primal Scream, but Natalya reversed it by flipping Melina over before taking her out with a wicked Discus Clothesline. With Melina downed, Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter and Melina reluctantly tapped out! Ashley Valence is in the back with the WWE Champion, The Miz who has Alex Riley by his side. Miz takes the microphone off Ashley and tells her to shut up and look pretty for he is The Miz and who the fans want to see - not some pretty face because he is the only pretty face in the the WWE. We once again cut backstage where The Bella Twins are with the tumbler, but this time it's SmackDown General Manager Theodre Long who's in the room and not JBL. The Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler enters with Kaitlyn on his arm. Dolph draws a number and looks at it and he doesn't seem too pleased. Vickie Guerrero storms in and begins yelling at both Dolph and Kaitlyn, saying that nobody upstages her. Vickie says that she made the pair of them. Kaitlyn shoves Vickie, who falls onto the couch which then tips over! Kaitlyn and Dolph leave as Brie and Nikki giggle while Vickie is irate! WWE Champion, The Miz (with Alex Riley) def. John Morrison to retainFormer partners collided here in this one as JoMo and The Miz went at it in a match that has alot of history due to their past as a successful tag team. In the early going, both men repeatedly countered every move that they attempted due to knowing each other so well. Miz took control when Alex Riley hopped onto the apron and distracted Morrison, allowing Miz to attack JoMo from behind! Miz kept Morrison grounded but with the crowd's support, Morrison fought back and soon took control after a wicked Enziguri that sent Miz crashing through the middle rope and to the floor outside. Morrison dived over the top rope and onto Miz and Riley below, taking both men out! When Morrison rolled Miz back into the ring, Riley attempted to attack Morrison but it backfired and Riley was sent crashing into the steel steps. Morrison once again mounted another comeback and looked to hit the Starship Pain but Miz rolled out of the way and Morrison ate the mat. Once Morrison got to his feet, Miz nailed the Skull Crushing Finale for the clean victory! Once again we're in the back for another tumbler drawing. Ted DiBiase enters the room without Maryse, who is nowhere to be seen. DiBiase flirts with Brie and Nikki while picking out a ball. Without Maryse, DiBiase feels confident and begins to flirt with both The Bella's, more specifically Brie. She tells him to pucker up and he closes his eyes expecting a kiss. In from the side comes Big Show and when DiBiase opens his eyes, Show knocks him out with a right hand! A video package hyping the John Cena/Wade Barrett match airs. John Cena def. Wade BarrettThis one has been months in the making, dating back to June when the Nexus first aligned and made their mark on the WWE Universe. However, 7 months on and the Nexus is a shell of its former self, comprising of Wade, Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty but neither Harris or McGillicutty were anywhere to be seen here tonight which made the Cena/Wade match even more enjoyable due to no interference. Cena took out months of anger out on Wade here tonight, unloading on the Brit with vicious shots and holds - even looking to put Wade away 5 minutes in with the Attitude Adjustment but Wade fought his way out of it and proved to everyone why he deserves his spot on the WWE roster by keeping the #1 Superstar down and remaining in control. After fighting tooth and nail, Wade scooped Cena up for an attempted Wasteland but Cena fought his way out of it and set Wade up for the Attitude Adjustment but Wade battled free! Wade raised Cena up and slammed him down, finally connecting with the Wasteland. Wade covered, 1...2...KICKOUT! The crowd erupted as Cena got his shoulder up in the knick of time. Wade is in disbelief and sets Cena up for another Wasteland but Cena fights out and nails the Throwback before nailing an Attitude Adjustment for the win. Todd Grisham is backstage with the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge. He seems pretty confident ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match and he warns Alberto Del Rio that if Ricardo Rodriguez even thinks about interfering, he'll be taken down with a Spear. World Heavyweight Champion, Edge def. Alberto Del Rio to retainTonight we got the proof that Del Rio truly is a big deal as he went toe to toe with a ten time World Champion and did not miss a beat. It was his coming out party as he really showcased a breakout performance in this contest. He came out aggressive and Edge was unprepared for it as Del Rio held a pretty big upper hand for the early portion. His cockiness got the best of him though as he took too much time gloating and taunting, which allowed Edge to retaliate. He hit most of his signature moves including the Edge-O-Matic, the electric chair drop and a full nelson face buster for near falls. Del Rio really surprised everyone when he kicked out of the Edgecution just before three. Edge now began to stalk for the Spear but Ricardo Rodriguez grabbed his leg. Edge kicked him off, but was met with an enziguri from Del Rio. Moments later, Del Rio locked in the Rio de Grande and Edge was on the verge of tapping out, until he fought his way to the ropes. Del Rio picked up Edge and sent him off the ropes, but Edge surprisingly came off with a huge Spear! He covered and got the 1-2-3. A video hypes up the Royal Rumble match, detailing the history of the match. The 2011 Royal Rumble match Entrant #1: Dolph Ziggler (with Kaitlyn)Entrant #2: Ted DiBiase (with Maryse)The recently turned face Dolph Ziggler got a great reaction from the crowd here as he drew unlucky entrant #1. Despite having drawn the first entry, the Intercontinental Champion seemed confident as he came to the ring with Kaitlyn. Raw's Ted DiBiase was entrant #2 and he and Maryse got a mixed response. Both Dolph and Ted worked a decent battle in the time they had before the 3rd entrant. Entrant #3: JTGSmackDown's JTG comes swaggering down the ramp. Once in the ring, JTG and Dolph form a unit as they both attempt to dump DiBiase out. When DiBiase was able to fight them both off, Dolph soon reliased it's every man for himself and it literally became a triple threat with these 3. Entrant #4: Daniel BryanThe triple threat didn't last long as the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan was next out minus Brie and Nikki Bella on his arms. Bryan immediantly climbed to the top and took out JTG, Ted and Dolph with a crossbody! Bryan picked Ted up and began to unload on him with a series of shots as JTG and Dolph got to their feet following the crossbody. JTG attacked Bryan and he and Ted worked as a pair to try eliminate Bryan. When it backfired, DiBiase attacked JTG and sent him packing. Elimination #1: JTG by Ted DiBiaseRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ted DiBiase and Daniel BryanEntrant #5: Santino Marella (with Tamina)Another Champion hits the ring as 1/2 of the WWE Tag Team Champions in Santino Marella storms to the ring with Tamina not far behind. Santino takes Ted down with a series of clotheslines before connecting with the Cobra! Santino begins to celebrate by posing on the turnbuckles and then attempting to celebrate with Bryan and Dolph but they both eliminate him. Elimination #2: Santino Marella by Daniel Bryan and Dolph ZigglerRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ted DiBiase and Daniel BryanEntrant #6: Drew McIntyreSmackDown's Drew McIntyre slowly makes his way to the ring, allowing Ted, Dolph and Bryan to fight it out and try eliminate each other. Once he reaches the ring, Drew immediantly goes after Dolph and lays into him with vicious shots to the temple of the Intercontinental Champion. Drew continues dominating Dolph while Ted and Bryan battle it out. Entrant #7: Primo (with A.J.)Primo bounces to the ring with his girlfriend and former NXT Rookie, A.J., her looking more excited than Primo. Once in the ring, Primo is almost immediantly taking down with a Big Boot from McIntyre, who begins to unload with wicked shots to Primo's skull as Dolph still tries recovering from the onslaught by McIntyre moments ago. Primo begins to fight back and with assistance from Dolph, the pair have McIntyre on the apron but he battles back into the ring. DiBiase and Primo go at it and DiBiase whips Primo into the corner but Primo jumps onto the second turnbuckle and springboards backwards into a Hurricanrana that sends Ted flying into the top rope and crashing to the floor! Elimination #3: Ted DiBiaseRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Primo, Drew McIntyre and Daniel BryanEntry #8: Tyler ReksThe x-factor of the WWE, Tyler Reks wastes no time in forming an alliance with fellow blue brand Superstar, Drew McIntyre and the pair use Daniel Bryan as a punchbag. Primo goes after Reks while Dolph attacks Drew, essentially saving Bryan from elimination. Entry #9: CM PunkIn a surprise entry, CM Punk leaves the announce table and rolls into the ring unbeknowns to everyone still in the match. Punk attacks Daniel Bryan and dumps him out of the ring! Elimination #5: Tyler ReksRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Primo, Drew McIntyre and CM PunkEntry #10: Mark HenryThe World's Strongest Man makes an impact by taking out everyone in the match from the moment he enters the ring. He sets his eyes on eliminating Punk, who fights for his life to survive and he is able to after biting the forehead of Henry! Punk takes Henry down by attacking his legs. Entry #11: SheamusThe 2010 King of the Ring, Sheamus is next out and within moments of entering the ring he takes Mark Henry down with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus grabs ahold of Primo by the head and charges towards the ropes, throwing him over and out! Elimination #6: PrimoRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Drew McIntyre and CM PunkSheamus and CM Punk work together to both eliminate Mark Henry. Elimination #7: Mark HenryRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre and CM PunkEntry #12: Vladimir KozlovRaw's Vladimir Kozlov comes to the ring next and has a stiff back and forth exchange with Sheamus. Kozlov and Sheamus repeatedly try to eliminate each other but neither man is able to. Entry #13: Booker TIn a huge surprise, Booker T makes his return to the WWE by revealing himself to be the 13th entrant! Booker wastes no time in going after McIntyre, unloading on him with wicked shots. The crowd are totally behind Booker and he has them in the palm of his hand. McIntyre attempts a clothesline but Booker ducks and nails the Book End before eliminating the Scotsman! Elimination #8: Drew McIntyreRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Booker T, Vladimir Kozlov and CM PunkWith McIntyre gone, Booker turns his attention to Sheamus and Michael Cole makes note of how both men are former King of the Ring winners. After a brief staredown, both men go at it! Entry #14: KavalSmackDown's Kaval joins the match and he immediantly goes straight after CM Punk. When Punk starts to get the upperhand, Dolph helps Kaval and the pair attempt to eliminate the Straight Edge Superstar while Booker T and Sheamus are still going at it as Vladimir Kozlov sizes up Sheamus. Booker chops Sheamus who turns around into a Big Boot from the Moscow Mauler! Entry #15: Jack SwaggerJack Swagger takes his time to enter as he lingers around ringside before sliding into the ring and dumping Kozlov out! Elimination #9: Vladimir KozlovRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Booker T, Jack Swagger, Kaval and CM PunkThe remaining Superstars continue to do battle in the ring until the sixteenth participant arrives. Entry #16: Kofi KingstonKofi Kingston enters to a big pop from the WWE Universe. He goes right after Swagger and battles with him until he lays him out with the S.O.S. He then goes face to face with his former tag team partner when he trades shots with Raw’s CM Punk. Meanwhile, Sheamus leveled Kaval with a huge Brogue Kick as his dominance in tonight’s Rumble continues. Entry #17: Justin GabrielThe former Nexus member and master of the 450 Splash was next out and he quickly made an impact when he connected with the 450 on Punk. Sheamus tossed over Kaval during this, giving him another elimination. Elimination #10: KavalRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Booker T, Jack Swagger, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston and Justin GabrielSheamus’ hot streak came to an end when Dolph Ziggler locked him in the Sleeper Hold and the crowd went crazy. Sheamus slammed him to the ground though, while Gabriel and Kingston put on a show in the middle of the ring. Entry #18: Ezekiel JacksonOne of the most dominating men on the WWE roster, Ezekiel Jackson, drew number eighteen and he came in on fire. He knocked out each man that came charging at him and really showed his overpowering strength. When it came to Sheamus though, the “Celtic Warrior” won their short war and stood tall. Entry #19: Triple HThe crowd went absolutely insane as Triple H made his shocking return at number nineteen! Sheamus looked like he had just seen a ghost as this was the first time Triple H has been seen since Sheamus put him on the shelf last April. Triple H traded fists with Sheamus once he entered the ring, but he got the upper hand and knocked him over with a huge clothesline. Elimination #11: SheamusRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Jack Swagger, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson and Triple HEntry #20: “Dashing” Cody RhodesWWE’s most dashing Superstar came out next, sporting his facemask. He immediately went after Kingston, the man responsible for his facemask. They traded shots, but Rhodes eliminated him after taking off the facemask and striking Kingston with it. Elimination #12: Kofi KingstonRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Jack Swagger, CM Punk, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H and Cody RhodesEntry #21: Rey MysterioThe master of the 619 got an enormous ovation from the sold out Boston crowd. He showed off some of his trademark high flying as he leveled multiple Superstars with his attacks. Meanwhile, Triple H sent CM Punk over and out of the Royal Rumble for the second straight year. Elimination #13: CM PunkRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Jack Swagger, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Cody Rhodes and Rey MysterioA second elimination occurred just moments later when Ezekiel Jackson tossed out Jack Swagger, who has been a huge thorn in his side in recent weeks. Elimination #14: Jack SwaggerRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Cody Rhodes and Rey MysterioEntry #22: Scott SteinerThe crowd gets even more shocked as Scott Steiner is the next entrant in the 2011 Royal Rumble. He gets in and takes out most of the competition before going face to face with Triple H, someone he had a rivalry with back in 2003. They went at it until Steiner got the upper hand with a belly-to-belly suplex. Entry #23: Chris MastersChris Masters quickly got in the ring and attempted to challenge Steiner to a pose down of sorts. Both men did a pose, but when Masters went for his second, Steiner tossed him out. Elimination #15: Chris MastersRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio and Scott SteinerUnfortunately for “Big Poppa Pump”, his time in the ring would be over once Rhodes snuck up from behind and flipped him over and out. Rhodes taunted for too long though as he was then tossed over by Booker T. Eliminations #16 & #17: Scott Steiner and Cody RhodesRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, and Rey MysterioEntry #24: David Hart SmithOne half of the former Hart Dynasty picked number twenty-four and came in to a small pop. He didn’t do much of note, although during this interval Justin Gabriel was sent over the top by Rey Mysterio after they had an exciting back and forth session. Elimination #18: Justin GabrielRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Booker T, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Rey Mysterio and David Hart SmithEntry #25: KaneThe former World Heavyweight Champion came to the ring looking like he was in a bad mood. He took it out on several Superstars are he unleashed a flurry of big boots and chokeslams. Kane tossed Smith out shortly before eliminating Booker T to a big chorus of boos from the crowd. Eliminations #19 & #20: David Hart SmithRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, and KaneEntry #26: R-TruthR-Truth came to the ring next, but would run into some disappointment. He valiantly attempted to take down the “Big Red Machine”, but Kane proved to be too much and he made R-Truth his third victim of the night so far. Elimination #21: R-TruthRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, and KaneKane was truly on top and it looked like no one would be able to stop the monster on his road to WrestleMania. Entry #27: Big ShowIf one man could stop Kane, it would be the Big Show, who entered at the luckiest number in Rumble history. He had a staredown with his former tag team partner before they went at it. While that happened, Triple H and Ezekiel Jackson went at it as well as Ziggler and Mysterio. Entry #28: Heath SlaterSlater’s theme hit but he didn’t come down to the ring. The cameras cut to the back where Slater was knocked out cold and his Rumble number was on the floor next to him. Someone wearing black boots reaches down to pick it up and walks off. Moments later, “We Are One” hits the speakers as Wade Barrett makes his way to the ring. He has stolen Heath Slater’s spot in the Royal Rumble! Kane and Big Show were fighting on the ropes as Barrett crept up behind them and tossed them both over! Eliminations #22 & #23: Big Show and KaneRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, and Wade BarrettEntry #29: Randy OrtonThe crowd exploded as their boos for Barrett turned to cheers for the “Viper!” He came in on fire and went for Barrett first. They traded shots and Orton went for the RKO only to get pushed off. Orton went right into Triple H, who he quickly hit with the RKO instead! Barrett took this opportunity to turn around and eliminated Rey with a huge kick. Elimination #24: Rey MysterioRemaining Superstars: Dolph Ziggler, Ezekiel Jackson, Triple H, Wade Barrett and Randy OrtonEntry #30: ChristianThe crowd erupted once again as “Captain Charisma” made his long awaited return as the number thirty entrant! He got in the ring and we were officially in the stretch run of this Royal Rumble. Wade Barrett picked up another big elimination when he sent Ezekiel Jackson over. Christian formed a partnership with Dolph Ziggler as they took down Jackson, while Triple H and Orton went toe to toe in the corner. Ziggler and Christian proved to be a great team until a miscommunication led to Christian accidentally eliminating Ziggler! The crowd was not at all happy as they really got behind Ziggler’s impressive performance tonight. Christian shrugged his shoulders at Ziggler, but turned into a big clothesline from Barrett, that sent him over and out. Triple H went over and brawled with Barrett in a battle of two men we’ve never seen go at it before. It was exciting and Triple H could be considered the victor in that war after nailing Barrett with the Pedigree. Orton went for the RKO once Triple H got up, but Triple H pushed him off into the ropes. He ran at Orton, who dropped down and sent him over. Triple H landed on the apron and began to trade shots with Orton. Orton kicked him in the stomach and went for his rope hung DDT. Triple H got free though and nailed Orton with a big knee, before shipping him out of the match. The crowd roared as Triple H had Barrett right where he wanted him. He went for another Pedigree, but Barrett flipped him over. He then picked up Triple H for the Wasteland, but attempted to eliminate him with it. Triple H elbowed out of it and ended up on the apron again. He fought and forced Barrett to back away. He tried to re-enter the ring, but Barrett quickly ran and shoved him to the ground, winning the 2011 Royal Rumble match!

WWE Royal Rumble 2011: Sunday 30th January 2011...Wow, another Royal Rumble pay-per-view posted in the exact same day as mine. Daniel Bryan and Tyson Kidd was a weak opening contest I found, should have started stronger, but good yet likely WWE United States Championship defense by Daniel Bryan. Didn't expect him to lose it to Kidd at all, really. Not even with Jackson Andrews. I think Bryan's nearing the end of his reign, honestly. He's basically repeating himself. Unless you make him a fighting champion. A second weak match with Natalya beating Melina, but I do like the attempt at making the divas division better with the submission stipulation. Again, Natalya retaining the WWE Divas Championship seemed likely. The Miz beating John Morrison is fine, didn't expect Miz to lose the WWE Championship anyway. I see Miz walking into WrestleMania XXVII as champion. John Cena beating Wade Barrett was a good match, heated too. I hope this is the end of their feud, though. Next, Edge beating Alberto Del Rio was sort've likely. Del Rio could have won the World Heavyweight Championship, could have seen Del Rio and Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania. I hope there's some twists going into WrestleMania though. I somewhat predict the WWE and/or World titles will change hands at Elimination Chamber. An eventful Royal Rumble match, glad you kept it at 30 men involved. Booker T and Scott Steiner returning? What is this, 2001? Wade Barrett winning the Rumble was shocking, and whilst original would have rather seen someone else win this match. An interesting show, most of the results were likely but the Rumble match surprised me. I hope we see plenty of twists in the storylines headed to WrestleMania.

Like the stats video opening the show. Good choice of opening match up with the United States Championship being defended by Daniel Bryan, who has been a good champion so far. I will say he needs to drop it soon though to someone established, as opposed to somebody who's up and coming like himself. Perhaps Sheamus would be a good choice. No surprise really to see Natalya going over in a submission match, expect that Melina will take the win in a more standard match at some point. Well, less expect and more hope, as Natalya is fast running out of credible heel contenders, which is part of the reason why the Divas division is failing, not enough credible Divas playing either role. Would like to see you two try and change that. Liked the Dolph / Vickie interaction, and I like how Dolph is a face with Kaitlyn now. Not surprised to see Miz take the win here against JoMo, glad Morrison looked strong in his challenge though. DiBiase's cred is at an all time low at the moment, and that little segment didn't help, haha. Cena over Barrett was expected, didn't see Wade getting the last win in the rivalry really, and I'm glad he didn't. Edge over Del Rio is the right move, make sure Del Rio does something relevant at Wrestlemania though. A fantastic Rumble write up, and I do like how you stuck with Booker's trend of drawing #13 (if it was intentional that is!) and Steiner making an appearance, as both were great little nostalgic throwbacks. Also liked the fact that everyone who made a return looked pretty strong, and that you used the match to start some rivalries, and continue some. I feel that the Rumble match itself is a vital part of the start of the road to Mania, and in recent years its been lost as a launch pad for rivalries. Wade being the eventual winner after stealing a number is very interesting, and I'm positive this will be brought up when he cuts his victory speech. A solid Royal Rumble here from you guys, keep it up!

The under-card for Rumble was fine. My big problem with the show was the return of Scott Steiner. That would NEVER EVER happen. Considering how vocal he has been about the company in a negative way sine he left, their is no way he would comeback, ever. That really bugged me. Especially since HHH is getting more and more power.
Wade Barrett winning the Rumble is really odd. I wish he would have gone over Cena earlier in the show if he were going to win the Rumble. I fully expect him to go after Edge's championship and lose at Mania.
Aside from the Steiner return and a lackluster Rumble winner, it was a decent show.

Raw Superstars Taping Results: 1. The Uso's def. William Regal and Darren Young when Jey pinned Young. 2. Primo (with A.J.) def. Zack Ryder with a Backstabber.
| Monday Night Raw Results – January 31, 2011 from Providence, RI. |

Michael Cole and Scott Stanford welcome us to the fallout from the 2011 Royal Rumble! They talk about how we are well and truly on the Road to WrestleMania and how we will see Randy Orton and CM Punk battle it out for the first spot in the Raw Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber PPV! The music of the Nexus begins to play as Wade Barrett leads out Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty, the 3 remaining members of the Nexus. Once in the ring, Wade talks about how the Nexus used to dominate not just Raw - but the entire WWE. He says that many members have left but Husky and McGillicutty have proven to be loyal and that's why they still have his back. Barrett claims that with the trash gone from the Nexus, the faction has proved to be as strong as ever before and his victory last night at the Royal Rumble solidified his spot on the WWE roster and as the greatest Superstar in the WWE today. A video rolls on the titantron, recapping Wade attacking Heath Slater and stealing his entry in the Rumble match. The video shows Wade lastly eliminating Triple H to win the match. The music of the WWE Champion, The Miz cuts Barrett off and Miz leads Alex Riley out. Miz has a microphone in hand and he begins to yell at Wade to cut to the chase and announce if he'll be challenging for the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVII. Wade tells Miz that he has made his decision but he won't be revealing that just yet. Miz is on edge and he wants to know right now as he clutches his WWE Championship close to his chest. Wade ignores Miz, who is getting extremely paranoid about the possibility of having the Nexus chasing after him on the Road to WrestleMania! Barrett tells Miz that he, along with the rest of the WWE Universe, will find out who he will be facing at WrestleMania very soon. Commercial Break 1) Melina, Alicia Fox and Maryse def. Natalya and The Bella TwinsThe crowd were actually heavily into this match, despite it being allocated 5 minutes tops. Nikki kept playing the heel role while Brie was the face. Natalya dominated, taking Maryse, Melina and Alicia all out with a series of moves. Natalya set Maryse up for the Sharpshooter when Nikki attacked her! Nikki left the ring as Brie yelled at her, Maryse picking up the scraps and covering Natalya to score the pinfall! Maryse, Melina and Alicia celebrate as Brie attends to Natalya, Nikki taunting Natalya from the stage. Commercial Break WWE Champion, The Miz is in the back with Alex Riley and Miz is hyping Riley up for his upcoming Elimination Chamber match qualifier against John Cena. Miz tells A-Ri that if Riley wins this match, Elimination Chamber will be a breeze for him as Riley will lie down in the ring and let him retain his title. 2) Daniel Bryan def. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse)Maryse fresh off pinning the Diva's Champion moments ago was in DiBiase's corner, meanwhile The Bella Twins and Daniel Bryan's trio appears to have come to an abrupt halt. DiBiase and Bryan have had numerous encounters over the past few months and tonight DiBiase seemed determined to leave with a non-title win over Bryan, giving both himself and Maryse a perfect night. However, Bryan is the United States Champion for a reason and he proved to the WWE Universe why when he dropped Ted with a wicked Roundhouse Kick and then locked in the LeBell Lock, giving Ted no choice but to tap out! As Bryan celebrates his win, Maryse is furious with DiBiase losing and she certainly lets him know about it as she yells at him in the ring in French. Commercial Break Ashley Valence is backstage with John Cena, who assures Ashley and the WWE Universe that he will beat Alex Riley and rightfully earn his spot in the Elimination Chamber match! 3) John Cena def. Alex Riley (with The Miz)Everyone pretty much knew the outcome of this match from the get go, but A-Ri surprised a lot of people by getting in some decent offense. He showed why he was always considered a top prospect down in FCW and he even picked up two near falls. The former nine time World Champion was too much for him though, as Cena put him down with the Attitude Adjustment. Up next, Triple H makes his first appearance on Raw since April! Commercial Break Triple H makes his way down to the ring to a thunderous ovation for his first appearance on Raw since April 2010! Once in the ring, Triple H talks about how much he has not only missed competing in the ring but he has missed performing for each and every single member of the WWE Universe. Last night, he felt on top of the world returning during the Royal Rumble and how great it felt to eliminate Sheamus who put him on the sidelines back in April. The music of Sheamus cuts Triple H off and he emerges from the back yelling at Triple H that he thought he learned his lesson almost a year ago when he banished him from the active list and should have retired him but clearly Hunter didn't learn his lesson. After talking smack back and forth, Sheamus and Hunter get into a brawl in the ring that ends with Triple H getting the upperhand and clotheslining Sheamus over and out of the ring! Sheamus has second thoughts about re-entering the ring and he instead bails to the back yelling that he will get redemption as HHH poses on the turnbuckle. Commercial Break Ted DiBiase is pacing around backstage, not looking happy. Maryse appears and Ted tells her that last night he was eliminated by Primo and tonight he was beaten by Daniel Bryan. Maryse tells Ted that she is the #1 Diva in the WWE and they want to stay the #1 couple, then DiBiase better stop being a loser. 4) Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov (with Tamina) def. Tyson Kidd and Jackson AndrewsAfter defeating JBL's Personal Security last week via Disqualification, the WWE Tag Team Champions weren't in their usual happy moods and they seemed focused against the team of Tyson Kidd and the 7" Jackson Andrews. Kidd let Andrews do most of the work for their team, mostly beating up Santino before Kidd would tag himself in and go for the cover. Kozlov and Kidd eventually both became the legal men and Kidd had control, attempting a Springboard Crossbody but Kozlov nailed a Battering Ram for 3! Santino, Kozlov and Tamina celebrate their win when suddenly JBL's Personal Security attack them from behind. Santino and Kozlov fight back and both remove the guards' helmets but they have ski masks on underneath! The guards quickly leave the ring and scatter through the crowd. Commercial Break Ashley Valence interviews CM Punk backstage. Punk says that he kept his return to the ring underwraps for many reasons and he if he wasn't cheated out of winning the Rumble match itself, then he wouldn't even have to fight for his spot at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Randy Orton appears and tells Punk that he's awfully confident that he'll beat The Viper tonight but he won't be going down as easily as he thinks. 5) Wade Barrett def. Mark HenryIn Barrett’s first match since winning the 2011 Royal Rumble, he looks very impressive. Beating Henry was no easy task, but Barrett pulled it off. Even more surprising though, was that he won cleanly, without the help of any Nexus members. He attempted the Wasteland but couldn’t hoist Henry up, so he finished him off with a huge kick to the face instead. The Masked Guards are backstage with John Bradshaw Layfield, who isn't happy with how Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov got the last laugh tonight. He is yelling at them but he eventually calms down and tells them it'll be time to reveal their identities "soon". Commercial Break 6) Randy Orton def. CM Punk to qualify for the Elimination ChamberCM Punk looked great in his first match back from injury. He hit all of his moves crisply and worked over Orton’s arm throughout. Orton would of course rally behind the roar of the WWE Universe. He connected with his trademark back breaker and rope hung DDT. Punk kicked out of both of these moves and eventually set up for the Go to Sleep. Orton wriggled free though, got behind Punk, turned him around and nailed the RKO for the victory. As Orton celebrates his win, an irate CM Punk lies in the ring looking pissed off. The Miz comes running to the ring and attacks Orton with the WWE Championship, repeatedly clobbering him with the belt as Alex Riley begins to boot Orton. Surprisingly, Punk attacks Miz and Riley and sends them both to the floor! Punk helps Orton to his feet before showing his true colours and nailing him with a Go to Sleep! As Punk kneels above the downed Orton, John Cena's music hits and Punk wastes no time in escaping through the crowd as Cena helps Orton to his feet.

WWE RAW: Monday 31st January 2011...I love the steady pace this diary is taking. But I'm looking forward to where this goes now the Royal Rumble is out of the way. Good win for the Usos against William Regal and Darren Young on Superstars; like Young and Regal's alliance. Primo beating Zack Ryder was weird, not used to seeing Primo as a face, but I liked it. I like the idea of a Primo/AJ couple. Wade Barrett kicking off the show was nice, but seeing that The Miz is WWE Champion, can imagine that either Miz will be losing the WWE title at Elimination Chamber, or Barrett will be facing SmackDown's World Heavyweight Champion. Weak opening contest, should have used men in this spot. I do like the job you're doing with the divas, though. Melina, Alicia Fox and Maryse beating Natalya and the Bella Twins is a fine match, unbelievable that it got a bit of time though. Daniel Bryan beating Ted Dibiase should have been the opening contest, the match didn't do much for me though. Bryan's beaten Dibiase too many times for me to give a damn. John Cena beating Alex Riley is alright for the first hour main event, not bad. Triple H's promo after returning in the Royal Rumble is good, expected him to want revenge on Barrett though for eliminating him. Setting up a Sheamus/Triple H feud continuation should be good, Hunter will obviously win at WrestleMania XXVII. Hard to believe they fought last year too. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov beating Tyson Kidd and Jackson Andrews...is Jackson and Andrews really going downhill so soon? That's a shame. Didn't like this at all, Kidd needed the momentum lost at the Rumble. Like this situation with mystery Personal Security. I remember Paul Heyman's security team; the Bashams. Wade Barrett beating Mark Henry was likely, didn't do too much other than make Barrett look good though. Lastly, good win for Randy Orton in a heated main event, Orton now in the Elimination Chamber. A slow time for the qualifying matches to start, too. A decent show overall.

I liked the opening promo up until The Miz came out. I don't see Miz being 'on the edge' over Barrett's decision. It'd make sense for Miz to save face and be cocky towards Barrett. The promo made Miz look terrible.
Divas match.. meh. Not really a strong opener.
Bryan over DiBiase makes tons of sense, though is a match that needs to stop being repeated, on TV and with the same outcome at least.
Cena over Riley was expected. Fully expect him to go on and win the Elimination Chamber.
Liked the return of Triple H, and the continuation of his feud with Sheamus. Seems too many people are getting wrapped up in Undertaker/Triple H (myself included) rather than building on an alternative. Intrigued by the prospect of a possible WrestleMania match between the two.
Nice segment with DiBiase and Maryse. Hopefully this can result in a gradual push for DiBiase. A sudden rise will not be believable due to his credibility being completely crushed at this point.
Nice win for Marella/Kozlov. Could care less for Kidd/Andrews. Interested in finding out who JBL's Personal Security is.
Hoping Punk qualifies for the Elimination Chamber. Don't know whether I see him beating Orton though, which is a shame. Orton needs to step back from the title hunt for a little while following a craptacular end to 2010.
Barrett over Henry is nice filler. Strong victory for Barrett.
Orton over Punk I'm not too happy with, but could kind of see it coming. Doesn't really make sense for Punk to lose in his return match either. A little unsure why you had Punk help Orton, then turn on him seconds later. John Cena coming down and having to bail-out Orton makes Orton look weak.. Didn't really like the ending, tbh.
Not your best episode of RAW, imo.

SmackDown Superstars Taping Results: 1. Tyler Reks def. Yoshi Tatsu with the Burning Hammer. 2. Chris Masters def. Chavo Guerrero with the Masterlock.
| WWE SmackDown Results – February 4, 2011 from Uniondale, NY. |

Josh Matthews and Matt Striker welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown from Uniondale, New York! They heavily hype our main event as the return of The Undertaker going up against Drew McIntyre for a place in SmackDown's Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view! 1) Alberto Del Rio def. Kofi Kingston to qualify for the Elimination Chamber matchFresh off of a loss in the biggest match of his career, Del Rio came out with a vengeance. He attacked Kingston right from the bell and was very aggressive throughout. He kept yelling about his destiny every chance he got. Kingston rallied and connected with an impressive S.O.S. Kingston got off a few more offensive highlights before getting locked in the Rio de Grande and tapping out. After the match, Alberto Del Rio was handed a microphone by Ricardo Rodriguez. He began to speak about how his destiny is to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Even though he had a hiccup this past Sunday at the Royal Rumble, he will never let an opportunity like that slip away again. Now, he has qualified to enter the Elimination Chamber; a match he has never been in before. Things like that don’t matter because nothing will stand in the way of “his” World Heavyweight Title. Commercial Break Kaval is backstage warming up ahead of his match with 1/2 of The Dudebuster's, Trent Barreta. Big Show approaches Kaval and tells him how he's impressed him as of late with his work out in the ring. Kaval thanks Show before Kaval begins to head down the hall when Hawkins and Barreta appear. The pair poke fun at Kaval, who retaliates by shoving Barreta into Hawkins and the pair fall. Big Show appears and Hawkins and Trent have second thoughts about attacking Kaval. 2) Kaval def. Trent Barreta (with Curt Hawkins) Fantastic match here as the winner of NXT Season 2, Kaval went up against 1/2 of The Dudebuster's, Trent Barreta. Kaval didn't waste any time in unloading on Trent with a series of vicious kicks that left Barreta's chest as red as Sheamus' hair. As Kaval slammed Trent down with a Snap Suplex and then climbed to the top to attempt what we presumed was the Warrior's Way, Curt Hawkins hopped onto the apron and distracted the referee and Kaval long enough for Trent to nail a Springboard Dropkick to Kaval, sending him crashing to the floor outside! Trent remained in control for the rest of the match until Kaval got Trent caught in a Small Package out of nowhere and it was over! Trent doesn't give Kaval anytime to celebrate as he blindsides him and he and Hawkins beatdown Kaval until the music of Big Show hits and the World's Largest Athlete comes down the ramp. Curt and Trent charge at Show but they are both laid out with a Double Showstopper! The Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler and his girlfriend Kaitlyn are walking to the ring and they are talking and laughing. They stop and Dolph tells Kaitlyn how he hasn't been this happy in so long. They kiss before continuing on their path towards the ring and we see Vickie Guerrero standing in the distance, looking furious! Commercial Break 3) Christian def. Dolph Ziggler (with Kaitlyn) to win the Intercontinental ChampionshipThese two had a great encounter during Christian’s return at the Royal Rumble and it spilled over to tonight. They have fantastic chemistry and put on a great match tonight. About midway through, Vickie Guerrero made her way to ringside, and was surprisingly cheering on Christian. He seemed bothered by this for sure but didn’t allow it to take his mind off of the task at hand. Ziggler racked up some near falls following a Fameasser and reverse body slam. Christian got some after a frog splash and tornado DDT. He set up for the Kill Switch, but Ziggler broke free and hit the Zig Zag! He covered but Christian got his foot on the bottom rope. Ziggler went to pick him up, but Christian rolled him into a small package. Ziggler kicked out, but when they got up, he was kicked in the stomach. Christian followed with the Kill Switch to become the new Champion! Christian celebrates with his new Intercontinental Championship as Vickie Guerrero applauds him. Christian is quite clearly uncomfortable with the situation and does not know how to respond as Vickie raises his handin the air. Commercial Break 4) Michelle McCool (with Layla) def. Rosa MendesThis was your basic Divas contest as it wasn’t given much time and was just decent. Mendes has shown considerable improvement as of late, especially with her extended work in FCW. Unfortunately for her, McCool was just too good for her. She leveled Rosa with a huge big boot to seal the win. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes is adjusting his face mask backstage when Todd Grisham approaches him. Todd asks Cody why he repeatedly feels the need to use the mask as a weapon and not just wrestle fairly. Cody tells Todd to mind his own business and show some respect for the most handsome Superstar in all of the WWE. Cody says Kofi Kingston will pay for messing up his face. Commercial Break 5) Rey Mysterio, David Hart Smith and Ezekiel Jackson def. Kane, Jack Swagger and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes After losing to Cody Rhodes via Disqualification last week, Rey was out here to try and get some redemption. Ever since being on the receiving end of a Trouble in Paradise from Kofi Kingston, Cody has been cautious about his face and tonight was no different. Lately, Cody has been using the mask as a weapon to help him win matches and that's exactly what he attempted to do here tonight but Ezekiel blocked it and proceeded to pie face Cody who then ran away up the ramp! Kane attempted a Big Boot to Zeke but he missed and connected with Jack Swagger (who has been feuding with Ezekiel). Rey and Smith knocked Kane down as Zeke finished a dazed Swagger off with the Book of Ezekiel. Drew McIntyre is in the back with Todd Grisham. Drew tells Todd that all this week, all he has been asked is "The Undertaker this" and "The Undertaker that". Drew claims that he is The Chosen One and he is not in the slightest intimidated by The Undertaker. Drew claims that not only will he beat The Undertaker here tonight, but he will win the World Heavyweight Championship at the Elimination Chamber PPV! Up next - The Undertaker battles Drew McIntyre in his return match for a spot in the Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber PPV! Commercial Break 6) The Undertaker def. Drew McIntyre to qualify for the Elimination Chamber matchAnother return to SmackDown tonight, but this time it was The Deadman who made his heavily hyped and highly anticipated return to the ring. Standing across the ring for him was Drew McIntyre, a man who has dominated since his debut on SmackDown. World Heavyweight Champion, Edge was on commentary to scout possible opponents. Drew took the fight to Taker in the early going but Taker fought back and unfortunately for Drew, he was on the receiving end of all of Undertaker's signature moves before being dropped with a Tombstone Piledriver to become the first competitor in this year's Elimination Chamber! As The Undertaker goes down on one knee in the ring, the World Heavyweight Champion Edge leaves the commentators table and slides into the ring. Undertaker and Edge go face to face before Taker offers a handshake but Edge blows it off and leaves the ring not to the greatest of receptions from the crowd!

Royal Rumble -Bryan over Kidd was the best way to go, as Bryan is a more relevant star. I hope DiBiase takes the strap. -I like that you guys are trying to make the divas division mean more with an interesting gimmicky match. I expected Natalya to win. -Miz over Morrison was fine. I always wanted Morrison to win that one, but I knew it wouldn't. Great match. -John Cena over Wade Barrett is great, and it's nice to see Cena kick off the year of PPVs on a winning start. -Egde over Del Rio is in some ways big for Del Rio, but it was nice to see Edge retain I guess. -Nice to see returns for Booker T, Scott Steiner, and Christian. Barrett winning was shocking yet realistic. I'm expecting Cena to take the gold at EC and set up Cena/Barrett at WM. -Great PPV.
RAW -Barrett not revealing is the best way to go, as it spoils a possible title change at the Chamber. -Bryan over DiBiase was the best way to go. Bryan is on a roll and that's the only man I can see stopping him or Sheamus. -Cena over Riley is nice for Cena as he continues his roll. -A big shocking to see Kidd and Andrews fall to Marella and Vladimir. Not fond of that call. -Barrett picking up a victory here was a good call. Hope in the following two months, he gets a great push. -Randy Orton over CM Punk is good. I see something big for Punk at EC but won't reveal my predictions. -Solid show.
SmackDown -It was good to see Del Rio rebound off his loss at Royal Rumble. -Kaval getting a lengthy match is great. I see him winning the Intercontinental Championship soon. -Never mind that last thought. Christian winning the Intercontinental Championship is very big. I wonder what you guys have planned. -Mysterio, Smith, and Jackson's victory was great. It was nice to see Smith keep relevance. Great match. -Drew McIntyre in the main event was pretty odd considering he's not as big a threat as he was back in 2009, but I guess it was to overly hype Undertaker. -Good show.
