He's pleading guilty as a deal, probably. He's trying to get as less time in jail as possible. Wasn't he facing 15 years? I don't see him getting away with 45 days. What would you guess? Remember that 15 years is with the bogus trafficking charge.

Doubt he'll be jailed for long. Wonder what will happen with TNA tapings then?

No matter what, if you had the amount that he had, you're going to get a trafficking charge on you. It will work for anyone. And even if it is a "bogus" charge, you mean to tell me that he had all that for himself?

I feel the same way They should send his ass to jail and treat him as if they would anyone else in the world As much as I love Jeff......I agree 100%. No one should be getting special treatment. At the same token, whats legal isnt always what is right and what is illegal isnt always what is wrong. The inability for people to use common sense is part of the problem.

But you dont honestly believe that Jeff is hitting the streets pan handling drugs, do you? Do you think he is the guy that is in the TNA locker room with a suit case full of narcotics, open for business? Also, Jeff's "wife" Beth, posted on twitter a few minutes ago that The Fayettville Observer is nothing more than a dirt sheet. Perhaps, the story has become exaggerated or is built on poor sources. The media loves to leap to stories without checking facts.....IE Morgan Freeman is dead reported by CNN a few days ago.

Okay, so which is really worse here? Having THAT amount of drugs for yourself, or having lots of it for personal gain, like selling?
Like I said, no matter what the story is, if you have that amount in your possession, you're going to get tagged with intent to sell.

I do think it is a ridiculous charge. I don't think Jeff is one to share his drugs.
They have NO idea if you intend to sell. Unless they catch him selling drugs, they don't know if he was going to sell any.

The media loves to leap to stories without checking facts.....IE Morgan Freeman is dead reported by CNN a few days ago. if he gave it to his friends or took it on the road that is "trafficking." not saying he's a street corner drug pusher, but selling to a friend or having 20 pills in your car are both considered trafficking according to the law. Jeff wasn't smart about it, and now he's paying for it, bottom line. weather the pills were for him or not doesn't matter to the grand jury, he's just lucky his wife or gf whatever she is didn't get dragged into it as well.
