Someone being a democrat wouldn't make them inherently violent. It's really annoying to me how republicans, democrats, constitutionalists, communists, EVERYONE seems to be using this tragedy as a way to politically smear one another. It is annoying. If you want to blame a party, blame ALL of them. Blame the government for becoming so twisted, and unresponsive to the common man, and for representing their own self interests over the interests of those who elected them. No single party is responsible for it, they are all equally responsible.

Those people are idiots. I've already mathematically showed that Sarah Palin had planned 9/11 AND the shooting. See, if you can show that she planned the Kennedy Assassination as well, then you'll have all kinds of converts. Easy. 11/ 222/ 1122- 11= 11 11- 2= 9 9/11!

. Kennedy was shot in '63. Palin was born 3 months later. Kennedy was known to sleep around. Conclusion - Palin shot Kennedy from the grassy knoll to cover up the fact that he was her father and Elvis was in on it. It's common sense really.

Pearl Harbor:
12/7 2/11
2+7=9 12-11=01 Then you have the 11 from Palin's b-day.
9/11/01

My gosh.
A Colorado man is accused of threatening to set fire around Sen. Michael Bennet's office and shoot members of his staff, prompting authorities to step up patrols around the senator's home and office.

The gun rights guy on Alex Jones just blamed Democrats for all the violence and murders going on in the world. Not surprising.

I should clarify, he didn't say Democrats, but it was certainly implied as that is what they were talking about. He either said liberal or left wing, but still they were harping on Democrats.

It's just so preposterous to blame an entire population of people for violence. MOST people want nothing to do with violence and would just like their opinions to be heard. Then it just takes one crazy person to completely them over and make them sound like nutjobs. You have to keep in mind, though, that the majority of the media is focusing on the fact that he apparently believed that the government was mind-controlling us and that people do not understand the constitution (thus implying that he was a constitutionalist)... Even though the Constitution indicates that taking the rights of others, by killing them, is against the law. Since this has been the case, people who are constitutionalists are, of course, trying to point the finger at others. For the record, as someone who values the Constitution above all other laws, I do not BLAME anyone for the attacks other than the person (or people) who committed them. We're setting our nation back by pointing fingers at one another when we should be understanding that crazy people are going to be crazy whether or not they have guns, whether or not they have supposed political motives.

I do agree. I mean if you are insane enough to look at something Sarah Palin created and put on the internet and then take that and use it as a call to arms and then act out because of it, you were already insane. Seeing it isn't going to turn a otherwise "normal" person into a crazed lunatic, the seeds are already there. When they see that stuff, those seeds are watered.

To settle it once and for all.
"Suspected Tucson gunman Jared Lee Loughner registered as an independent voter in Arizona in the fall of 2006, according to the Pima County Registrar of Voters.
Loughner registered to vote on Sept. 29, 2006, identifying himself as an independent. Records show he voted in the 2006 and 2008 elections but is current listed as "inactive" on the state's voter roles -- meaning that he did not vote in November."

^ He looks loco!
But I don't think he should get away with what he did in court...
Life in prison or death penalty if they have it.

So wait, is she still alive? I heard ICU and that's it... Yeah, she's alive. She is able to respond to commands such as put two fingers up, give us a thumbs up. Like that. She has a breathing tube in, because of that she can't talk.

Rep. Peter King, a Republican from New York, is planning to introduce legislation that would make it illegal to bring a gun within 1,000 feet of a government official, according to a person familiar with the congressman's intentions.
King is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

King is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee. Just plain dumb. This guy had an illegal gun. Do you really think he's going to say, "Well, I would've brought my illegal gun to the rally, but it's against the law and I don't want to break the law." Dumb, dumb, dumb. Nothing more than knee jerk posturing.
