Jared Loughner is charged with one count of attempted assassination of member of Congress, two counts of killing an employee of the federal government and two counts of attempting to killing a federal employee. Why isn't he charged with the deaths of the others? Those are the Federal Government's charges. They don't have the jurisdiction to file charges for the deaths of the civilians, just the federal employees. The state of AZ has to file the civilian charges. Good. Thanks.

Baseless accusations are awesome! If you weren't trying to hint that every shooter in history was a Republican, then I retract what I said. It seemed that way to me though. I just want to see it. I don't know if more are Republican or if more are Democrat, or if they're about even, I just want to know. Most likely, it's probably pretty close, but imagine if out of 100 shooters, something like 80 or 85 subscribe to one party. What does that tell you?

Those people are idiots. I've already mathematically showed that Sarah Palin had planned 9/11 AND the shooting.

www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/113176989.htmlA Milwaukee man's conspiracy-theory views on grammar and government control closely mirror the rantings of the alleged shooter in the Arizona rampage. But David Wynn Miller, 62, said Sunday he doesn't know Jared Lee Loughner and was appalled by his alleged actions in Saturday's shootings, which killed six and wounded 14 including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson. Miller said it's possible Loughner visited his website, where Miller espouses his views on how language is obstructed by governments, but Miller also claims to have "1 billion students" who read his ideas. "If he wanted to make a statement …" said Miller, a retired tool and die welder. "I had a statement to make but I put up a website. I didn't hurt people." Miller began receiving national attention when he was mentioned Saturday on the cable TV news channel MSNBC. Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project, said Loughner's YouTube video rant that "the government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar" is similar to Miller's views on grammar and government conspiracy. "The idea weirdly enough of controlling grammar, of somehow the government using grammar to control the people, is an idea that exists on the radical right. There's a particular person, a man named David Wynn Miller, who has plugged this idea for years," Potok said on "Countdown with Keith Olbermann." Miller said in an interview in his living room on Milwaukee's north side Sunday night that Loughner was exposed to violence on television for 22 years, which helped Loughner "formulate his opinion on conduct" and led him to shoot so many people outside a grocery store during a meeting between Giffords and voters. "The man, based on what he is saying in jail, he's saying there's no Constitution, which there isn't. But the individual is obviously disturbed," Miller said. "If you take someone's life, it's a crime. You'll go to jail. We don't need a written law for that." Miller said in 1988 he broke the mathematics of language and proved that language is a linear math equation that he said he can use to prove that government documents such as the Constitution and the Magna Carta as well as currency are invalid. His website espousing his views has been around for 11 years. Miller said the first he heard of Loughner was Saturday when journalists began contacting him after Potok's comments on MSNBC.

When you have nutjobs calling you crazy, then you know you've gone way, way off the deep end.

When you have nutjobs calling you crazy, then you know you've gone way, way off the deep end. We in the Internet Wrestling Community like to call that JGS, or "Juventud Guerrera Syndrome."

Alex Jones is saying that the shooter is a transgendered, death metal loving, abortion loving, animal rights activist and that made him so evil.

I think we should be focusing on the real tragedy.
A 9 year old little girl was shot and killed by the guy.

Yes, it is sad that a child died, but no more so than the others that died.

Alex Jones is saying that the shooter is a transgendered, death metal loving, abortion loving, animal rights activist and that made him so evil. See, Alex randomly goes off the deep end on certain subjects and I'm like, "WTF does that have to do with anything?" At least with death metal music I can understand that they sometimes talk about violence and such, but the rest of it? Completely irrelevant.

And they are saying he is a Democrat, based only on a classmate's saying so. They weren't friends otherwise they would have said they were friends, they wouldn't say classmate.
Also that he liked to smoke pot.

Someone being a democrat wouldn't make them inherently violent.
It's really annoying to me how republicans, democrats, constitutionalists, communists, EVERYONE seems to be using this tragedy as a way to politically smear one another.
