What section did you get, as I paid 150 for mine as well. Section 116.

A correction to the earlier amount, it is being said that the event is sold out at 55,000 tickets.

A correction to the earlier amount, it is being said that the event is sold out at 55,000 tickets. That's even better. I ing love it. ;D I wouldn't be surprised if UFC releases even more tickets in the coming weeks. They know they'd still make money no matter what, so why not? If they could get that many within minutes, then why not go for 60,000 or 65,000?? They could do it no problem. If there's money to be made and WILL be made, then I see no reason why the UFC wouldn't do it. Makes perfect sense to me. It doesn't matter where they go, Canada will have the biggest and best crowds ever. We hold the record baby!! I WILL be there and I can't wait!!

I know there's still the Fight Night before this event but, mann, the promo got me hyped for 129. Loving the St. Pierre trailers lately.

I hate to say it but I see Shields beating St-Pierre. I know I'm pretty much the only one picking Shields but I think he has all the tools to beat him. It's kind of like a St-Pierre clone fight St-Pierre when it comes to styles. I'm picking Shields by unanimous decision.

Shields does have tools to beat him, but GSP is just too good. As much as I love Jake, I think GSP takes this.

How to best word this... I really like Jake Shields and I think he suffers from some undue criticism, but GSP is on another level entirely, a level that very few fighters period are remotely close to right now, and I think GSP is probably going to dominate Shields. But, if Shields proves me dead wrong, I would only be slightly surprised, and in fact, a small part of me actually hopes that Shields makes me eat my words.
This should be an awesome, awesome event.

I predict a solid fight with GSP taking the win by desicion. He's just too dam good, even for Shields.

I think a lot will depend on which Jake Shields shows up on the night... if it's the same Shields who fought Kampmann, it could be a much easier than expected night for GSP. But if Shields looks like he has done (like when he beat Hendo), things could get very interesting. One thing's for sure though - the crowd will be insane...

lol God I hate MMA fans sometimes. Ain't that the truth... I'm still sticking with GSP to beat Shields, though I have a feeling it will go to decision.

I'm calling Sheilds on this one, for the sole reason of everyone being on the automatic Silva vs GSP bandwagon. I'd love to see someone come along and derail that train, just to see how everyone reacts.

You saw what he did to Hendo and I'm expecting nothing less of him against GSP.

As much as I love Dan Henderson, Dan Henderson is not Georges St. Pierre. GSP is simply one of the best fighters on the planet regardless of weight division, by far this will be the toughest test of Jake's career.
Like I said, part of me hopes he proves me wrong. Most of me just doesn't see that happening.
Shields vs. Silva would be awesome, though, and I wouldn't really complain about it at all because that would definitely become the fight to make. I'd love to see what Shields would do against Anderson.
