This card looks incredible for sure! I really want to watch this event although I know that Georges St. Pierre will whip Jake Shields to advance into the middleweight division. A record will most likely be for buy rates and tickets when Anderson Silva vs Georges St. Pierre happens later this year or early next year.

So looking forward to seeing Shields crash the party & screw uyp all these plans for GSP vs. Anderson.
I know a lot of people are basing their decisions on the poor showing against Kampmann but Shields is a far better fighter than that as his undefeated run shows. Gonna be a new champion & lot of Canadians going home upset.

Starting Thursday, UFC.com will have a 3D perspective of what the view of the cage would look like from any seat in the stadium, for those worrying about not being able to see anything.

I hope they have big enough screens for those cheap seats.

Yeah, apparently there's gonna be 8 big screens throughout the arena. All those UFC logos are screens.

Better be large enough, because those upper level seats are crazy.

Apparently all 42,000 tickets were sold within the first hour during the pre-sale today. They are looking to release more tickets for the Newsletter + Public.

Apparently all 42,000 tickets were sold within the first hour during the pre-sale today. They are looking to release more tickets for the Newsletter + Public. See, I knew that it would be an instant sell-out. UFC should have had no less than 60,000 tickets for sale for that event. I know they would sell, so why the hell didn't they do that?? Look at that though. The tickets haven't even went on sale to the general public yet and already 42,000 of them are ing gone. They could definitely sell out the Dome for sure. The rest of the tickets will be gone within seconds tomorrow. I have no idea how many are left, but they'll be gone QUICK. I just think UFC will be very stupid if they don't release more tickets. They'll still sell no matter how bad they are. I knew this event would be huge. I just don't think UFC knew exactly how huge it would be. I think it could easily match both WrestleMania records that were held there. 67,678 for WrestleMania VI and it was beaten at WrestleMania X8 with a crowd of 68,237 and I am proud to say that I am included in those records. I was there both times. If they already sold 42,000 tickets for the "Fan Club" members or whatever, they could probably double that amount with the general public for sure. But, only so many people can fit into the Dome. UFC should pack the Dome that night. They'd be stupid not to. The tickets will sell no matter what, so why the hell not??

You buy your ticket yet, Old School? Not yet. I'm actually going to try my luck this morning. I'm probably gonna head out soon and get in line at a local Ticketmaster outlet and see what happens. I wonder if they'll have a limit on how many tickets we can purchase at once. Me and my brothers and a cousin and some buddies all want to go. I bet all the tickets will be gone no matter what I do...We'll find out though....

YES!! Victory is sweet indeed. I too, got my UFC tickets for this incredible show. We got in line-up at a local Ticketmaster outlet at about 9:40 this morning and there were about 10 people ahead of us. When the 2nd person got done, the teller had told us that it was sold out. We couldn't believe it and we almost left the line-up, but then she checked again for "Best Available" and more tickets came up. Everyone in line literally had seconds to decide if they wanted the tickets or not. They varied in price. Like for example, if a transaction did not go through and they had $150 seats, they they would be sh*t outta luck and we would get a crack at them and in our case, that's exactly what happened. We had 2 transactions and in the first one, we got two $50 tickets which have a clear view she said, but the guy before us paid the same but had "an obstructive view" tickets which I guess means his view will be blocked by something in the way, but he still got them. Then, seconds after our first transaction, a pair of $150 tickets opened up and we went for it. We didn't think twice. We blew $400 in about a minute. LOL. We were only allowed 4 tickets max. I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky to get anything. They were going incredibly fast. Being in line-up and everything and ALMOST getting shut out and then another batch of tickets come up, is all part of the experience. It was fun. Man, I am pumped for this show. It'll be ing awesome. I'm just glad to get anything. I cannot wait until April 30th!! UFC #129 baby!!! We are goin'!!
