January 23rd 2011 Atomicos Match: Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, Fire Ant & Soldier Ant vs Claudio Castagnoli & Ares & Delirious & Tim Donst Singles Match: Eddie Kingston vs El Generico Singles Match: UltraMantis Black vs Sinn Bodhi Trios Match: Da Soul Touchaz vs Lince Dorado, Tursas & Sara Del Rey Tag Team Match: Incoherence vs The Batiri Tag Team Match: The Throwbacks vs The Rough Necks Singles Match: Daizee Haze vs Madison Eagles Trios Match: The Osirian Portal vs F.I.S.T
Relevos Atomicos, or 8-man tag team matches, are best served up in the grand CHIKARA style, and that's exactly what you'll see when we make our return to the former ECW Arena (now "Asylum Arena") as four members of the Bruderschaft take on a unique quartet of CHIKARA's very finest: current Campeones Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw, and former Campeones Fire Ant and Soldier Ant!
Last season, Eddie Kingston squared off with the best in CHIKARA, and beyond. When he wasn't battling the BDK, Kingston took on Bryan Danielson, Tommy Dreamer, Homicide and Christopher Daniels. But Season 10 is shaping up to be something entirely different - and El Generico represents a totally different challenge for the man who claims to be the best of the bunch!
It comes as no surprise after the events of December 12th (in Reading, PA) that The Throwbacks and The Roughnecks are on a collision course in Philadelphia! Will the Throwbacks get their revenge?
At our Season 9 finale in Reading, PA, it was revealed that Sinn "Kizarny" Bodhi, best known for his stint in the WWE, was the man The Batiri takes orders from. The dark army UltraMantis had hoped to train in secret, away from Chikara Wrestle Factory turned on him, and set these two bizarre men on a collision course for Philadelphia!
Back at "The Germans," members of the BDK decided that since they couldn't derail Da Soul Touchaz in a fair match, they'd jump the group from behind and leave them in a pile. They took particular care to victimize manager C.Red, who felt a splash from the giant Tursas, while valet Dymond was given a piledriver by Sara Del Rey. As we have come to learn, this attack has led to the retirement of Red and Dymond - and Richardson, Rockett & Jaz are out for revenge!
At our Season 9 finale, it took the combined might of Hallowicked and Frightmare to clear the ring of The Batiri. Now this creepy quartet will face off in Philly, as Obariyon and Kodama take on the "nightmare warrior" and his frenetic sidekick in tag action!
Fresh off the DL with a broken nose, the BDK's own Daizee Haze will have her work cut out for her on January 23rd as she faces Aussie sensation and current SHIMMER champion Madison Eagles, making her return to CHIKARA after a 2-year absence. Two of the world's finest fightin' females square off at the Season 10 premiere in Philly!
It will be a baptism of fire for the new Osirian Portal on January 23, as they face off with CHIKARA's most dangerous trio, F.I.S.T.

Glad you went with the actual card, I like the layout and the write ups for each match. I'm hoping Generico/Kingston steals the show. Like to see a Incoherence push despite Frightmare being the Young Lions Cup holder. Can't wait to see what you do with all the wacky storylines going on, good luck.

Love Eagles/Haze as I'm a huge fan of both girls. Generico/Kingston should be good as well. Anyway, hope you can stick with this bro, I'll be reading.

Chikara recently posted this "Previously at Chikara" video and since it's a small company that not many people know off or watch, I felt this would help the usual non-readers connect with the diary some more.

January 23rd 2011
DVD Exclusive: The show kicks off with Amasis & Ophidian of the Osirian Portal. They put over how they’ve been training Jonathan Gresham to be the newest member of the Osirian Portal. They talk about how Jonathan Gresham is a great talent but he just didn’t have the look of the Osirian Portal and that’s why they have transformed him in to Hieracon. They end their promo by saying that The Osirian Portal’s road to King of Trios has officially begun.
1 - Trios Match) The Osirian Portal (Amasis, Ophidian & Hieracon) defeated. F.I.S.T (Chuck Taylor, Icarus & Johnny Gargano) - The crowd reacted well to Jonathan Gresham’s new look and name of Hieracon. F.I.S.T and The Osirian Portal put together a great fast paced Trios Match that the company is known for. The finish of the math eventually arrived with Ophidian and Amasis diving out of the ring to incapacitate Johnny Gargano and Chuck Taylor allowing Hieracon to hit Icarus with the 450 Splash to pick up the three count.
2 - Single Match) Daizee Haze w/ Delirious defeated. Madison Eagles - Delirious who is still under the power of the Eye of Tyr was brought down to the ring with a chain held by Daizee as she took on the reigning SHIMMER World Champion, Madison Eagles. Madison seemingly had control for a lot of the match but Daizee Haze managed to fight back leading to a pretty even match. The finish eventually arrived with Madison Eagles building up steam only for Delirious to suddenly come to life and trip Eagles as she began to sprint. Haze took advantage of the situation and pinned Eagles with a bridged German Suplex.
3 - Tag Team Match) The Rough Necks (Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood) defeated. The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & Sugar Dunkerton) - The shortest match of the night besides the barely started UltraMantis Black vs. Sinn Bohdi match as things kicked off with The Throwbacks charging to the ring to brawl with the men that took them out just a month prior at the Season 9 finale. The two teams brawled till the referee was able to gain control of the situation. After around eight more minutes the match finished with Redwood hitting a big boot on Dunkerton which only caused Sugar to startle back in to the ropes. Sugar ran again only to receive another Big Boot, this time from the far larger Brodie Lee who damn near took Sugar’s head off. Redwood covered Dunkerton and picked up the victory, giving The Rough Necks their first point while The Throwbacks lose their only point.
DVD Exclusive: The scene opens with Da Soul Touchaz talking about how they had and still have the Bruderschaft’s number when it comes to victories, and that they had to retaliate the only way they knew how, sneak attacks. They say that the BDK attacked them from behind and injured the two non-wrestlers of the group, their manager, C-Red and their valet, Dymond. Da Soul Touchaz vow revenge and say that tonight the BDK will feel their wrath.
4 - Trios Match) Bruderschaft des Kruezes (Tursas, Sara Del Rey & Lince Dorado) defeated. Da Soul Touchaz (Marshe Rocket, Acid Jaz & Willie Richardson) - This was an all-out brawl from the start as Da Soul Touchaz were hell bent on getting revenge for their fallen members. The match eventually turned in to the traditional trios match with back n forth action. The finish to the match arrived in unusual fashion as Da Soul Touchaz were looking to finish the match, Lince Dorado shockingly ripped of his mask and threw it at Willie Richardson. Lince covered his face quickly and was hidden by the other BDK members as the referee turned around to see Willie holding Lince’s mask. The ref disqualified Da Soul Touchaz based on the rule that you’re not allowed to rip of the mask of your opponent and the BDK grinned as the out smarted Soul Touchaz looked on in the ring.
5 - Tag Match) The Batiri (Kodama & Obariyon) defeated. Incoherence (Frightmare & Hallowicked) - The Batiri, who were supposed to be UltraMantis Black’s dark army but turned on him to align with Sinn Bohdi had two points going in to this match and one more victory would give them a title match for the Campeonatos de Parejas. Incoherence and The Batiri had a fun back n forth match that lasted just over twelve minutes. Incoherence looked liked they were going to cause The Batiri start from scratch but Kodama countered Hallowicked’s “Go to Sleepy Hallow” attempt allowing The Batiri to hit a stunning double team finisher of a Lung Blower/Diving DDT combination. Following the match, The Batiri raised three fingers to signal that they have the three points needed and it seems as if they’re coming for Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw.
DVD Exclusive: The scene opens with UltraMantis Black cutting a promo in his usual awesome way as he said that Sinn Bohdi went behind his back when he taught The Batiri to obey Sinn’s orders. Black claims to have many treasures that could have been efficient payment for the training of his dark army but Sinn Bohdi was set in his ways of wanted the Eye of Tyr which UltraMantis Black lost to the BDK by theft because of Tim Donst. Black claims that the BDK will get their due as will Sinn Bohdi,
6 - Single Match) UltraMantis Black defeated. Sinn Bohdi - It would be unfair to call this a match as it was more of a brawl that ended in disqualification from outside interference. UltraMantis Black and a slightly out of shape Sinn Bohdi brawled for several minutes from the start till UltraMantis Black began to get the advantage. At this point, The Batiri and the third unknown masked man hit the ring and attacked UltraMantis Black. The Dark Army attacked UltraMantis Black for a few moments before Incoherence hit the ring and cleared it of the Dark Army. UltraMantis Black gets on the microphone and calls Sinn Bohdi a coward among cowards and challenges him to a trios match next month at the following show. Sinn nods from the entrance way with a look of anger on his face.
7 - Single Match) Eddie Kingston defeated. El Generico - This was by far the match of the night in terms of match quality and sheer excitement. Kingston and Generico went all out in kicking their opponents ass and even though El Generico was out weighed by a good 100lbs, he knocked Eddie Kingston in to next week with a few fantastic kicks. The finish of the match eventually arrived after a great back n forth twenty five minute match where El Generico kicked out of a back fist to the future only to receive a second followed by a Saito Suplex to give Kingston the three count. Following the match, Kingston applauded Generico’s effort and yelled out “Claudio! You’re next, Claudio!”
Main Event - Atomicos Match) Jigsaw, Mike Quackenbush & The Colony (Fire Ant & Soldier Ant) defeated Bruderschaft des Kruezes (Ares, Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious & Tim Donst) - The main event of the show showcased two of Chikara’s finest tag teams in The Colony and the Campeonatos de Parejas, Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw as they battled the evil Bruderschaft des Kruezes. Things kicked off with the Technicos having everything under control till the BDK used their cheap tactics to gain momentum. Eventually an all out brawl engulfed the ring as all eight men were throwing punches. Following the Ant Hill by The Colony with the assistance of Mike Quackenbush, on Ares, Quackenbush dived over the ropes to take out Delirious and Claudio Castagnoli. Jigsaw went to the top rope and Tim Donst quickly followed only to be caught by The Colony who connect with The Ants Go Marching, a Power Bomb/Neck Breaker combination. Jigsaw then dived off the top rope and connected with the Double Foot Stomp which was enough to give the technicos the three count. The team of The Colony and the reigning Campeonatos de Parejas celebrated their victory in the ring as the show comes to an end.

I must say, I don't follow CHIKARA. I wish I could, but DVDs cost money. However, I'm familiar with the product and the wrestlers and the videos really helped me out with it. The best part about this company is the emphasis on tag teams and stables. The whole BDK angle is very interesting, wonder how you will end that. I would love to see Storm and Quack have to cash in their three points somewhere down the line. The Dark Army adds a whole new angle to the whole diary, so I wonder what you will do there. Keep it up, I'm interested.

Nice show, glad you went with the real results as they were all pretty good calls. Nice write-ups and a good layout. I'm most intrested in the Mantis/Incoherence storyline. With the trios match possibly at the next show the Batiri won't cash in thier 3 points. Hopefully you continue the fall of the BDK. Good luck and keep this up.

Chuck Taylor losing? FUUUUUUUUU- Decent write up. Liking the layout, and DVD exclusive. Was going to do that in my diary. Delirious. <3 Sucks for SHIMMER their champ lost, but that's what you get when you don't have home field advantage. Once again, solid write up. Er, SPOILERS IN THE WRITE UP. I didn't even know who Black was facing. Again, great write up. Glad the mention of where the teams stood on the point standings. I like the segments, gets the job done when getting readers aware of rivalries. Risky, but EPIC ending to that trios match. I'm glad that happened as I didn't know removal of an opponent's mask was illegal. Learn something new everyday. Incoherence lost = Sad Panda, but glad QuackenSaw will get some competition. For some reason, I'm attached to UltraMantis Black as a fan. I have no idea why, though. He's just like-able to me. 'F' Kingston. OLE! I am satisfied with the match, though. At least he put on a good one. Best match write up of the night. Perfect ending to put over the face. Would've been more than happy walking out of the building after a show like that. Overall, good show. Can't really find any flaws. The only thing I didn't like is a few of my favorites losing, but that's not really a flaw. May I ask, what does 'Campeonatos de Parejas' translate to in English?
