Good race today! So stoked to see Jeff Gordon finally break that 66 race winless streak, dating back to the Spring 2009 race at Texas. And he stopped that assh*le Kyle Busch from taking the clean sweep at Phoenix. Thank God. And Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 10th, so a good race for him too.
Onto to Las Vegas next week! My uncle and cousin are flying out sometime this week for the race.

My uncle and cousin are flying out sometime this week for the race. You and me both. Finally back in there. The Vegas race is fun to go too. I went 2 years ago with my dad and he got us cold passes meaning we could go anywhere in the garage, pits, a half hour before the race started. We met a bunch of guys including Gordon, Logano when he was a rookie, Carl Edwards, Harvick, Truex, Kenseth and i can't remember who else. I also met Carrot Top down there. It was awesome walking right up to the cars and hearing them tune them. The track is nice too.

Good weekend of racing, too bad Busch didn't get the sweep. Hell of a duel between him and Edwards on Saturday.
Tony's looking good in points- 3rd spot behind the Busch brothers.
Can't say I'm a fan of Jeff, but him winning is better than Jimmie. Anybody winning is better than Jimmie.

People at my workplace are disturbing. All week long, every conversation has been about Bayne. Am I proud of him? Hell yes. Do I think he's got a bright future? If your definition is driving the 6 next year before being canned the year after, then yes. He's still a long way from proving himself as a formidable racer for years to come. Bayne is a really good driver and a great kid. Is he going to be the next Jimmie Johnson? Nobody can tell that for sure or not but Im willing to bet he's a lot better then some flub like Brian Vickers or AJ Dingdonger

The problem with Rookies in Nascar is they got all the crap equipment.Well not the crap equipment they don't get the main focus. Look at Logano, he is the third tier over there at Joe Gibbs. Look when Vickers was at Hendrick, Johnson and Gordon were the main focus.Seems like teams now just focus on their main drivers.

Logano's team is basically the same team that Stewart won 2 championships with and countless races. Vickers team at Hendricks was Juniors team for many years. Vickers won more races then Junior, you know they're not giving Junior bad stuff. Look at the 11 and 18. Before Hamlin and Busch took over JJ Yeley and Labonte we suckin it up pretty bad. Truex couldnt get the #1 in the top 15 but McMurray wins 2-3 races in it. Equipment does matter but I think the driver is more important.

Casey Mears got ONE win at Hendrick. Junior has the team that both of them had, and he has ONE win at Hendrick. It's the equipment moreso than the driver.

Its def. the equipement another example for you is Jaime McMurray.Guy didn't do crap at Rousch yet Edwards was winning left and right, Kenseth was decent. Now last year he is in a new ride and won 2 races. Most drivers are pretty much the same. I mean they can all drive in a Nascar race and do good but its the stuff they have to work with. I for some reason don't think Richard Childress is spending all his time down in Paul Menard's garage making sure his car is perfect instead of Harvick's. The higher guys get the better stuff and the second rate drivers got the medium to good stuff. How many times has a driver switched rides to be better the next year. It can't be his driving being better.

Logano is the new guy. Does jack squat at JGR. And I hate to say it, but June Bug is the "new" guy at Hendrick, he gets the mediocre equipment. Mark gets decent stuff because of his seniority in NASCAR period.

I think it just boils down to driver ability, team chemistry, and some luck. I don't think it has anything to do with focus by the teams. Give Logano some time. It's still pretty early in his career and he is pretty inexperienced. Given some time he might start to make some noise.

Cool to see Mark win. It was an exciting finish with Keselowski blowing the tire on the last lap. That's why you shouldn't leave a race until it's over.

I would have rather seen Kyle win it than Johnson. But yeah Bristol used to be exciting, but it is getting to where it's just another race.

Yeah Kyle Busch i can tolerate but Johnson i hate with a passion. Its bad when you hope the guy gets a flat, gets a penalty, or anything happen to him from lap 1 til the end of the race. Bristol was good until it was repaved. Seems like everytime a track gets a makeover it hurts it more then does it good.

Richard Marx singing the National Anthem today = win. I've not heard anything from him in years, my mom used to be HUGE on Richard Marx and when I was little, that's like all she'd listen to. Richard Marx, Michael Bolton, etc.
