First of all, lets me start off by saying im not a racist. I have been follwing WWE and i realise all the world champions n WWE champions are all white skin except for the rock. But to me what i mean was rock is not that dark. People like kofi, R truth, mark henry those type. Is there any history of black man champion? Guys, no offence. I dont really know how to say in a nice way not to offend people. U guys get my point for this topic?

In WCW, theres been a couple, Ron Simmons being the first, And Booker T being on the list as well.
As far as why WWE hasent strapped a 100% black man with the WWE title? Im not sure. I'm sure its less of a race thing, but more of a talent thing. WWE has more white people then black, so its obvious theyre going to find a qualified white superstar before they find a qualifed black one. I myself cant think of a black superstar who would be the full package, and be the guy I want to carry the belt. And I think thats what WWE is waiting for - the guy who they can put in the history books with his title run, and make sure theyre doing it for the right reasons.

Booker T had it a couple times, and Lashley had the ECW World Championship when it was still seen as prestigious, but I get what you're saying. Seems like just an issue of a lack of diversity in the Main Event scene, when it comes to skin color, but it's not something I think they do intentionally.
There have been stories about Michael Hayes and his "issues" with Black wrestlers, but at the end of the day, if Steve Austin was Black, I don't think that would have affected his amount of WWE Championship success, and if a Black star was just huge now, I think they would be getting their shots with the Title, but right now, all of the big African American wrestlers aren't quite at the plateau of Main Eventing, but do very well in the Mid-card, and if they prove themselves bigger than that, then they will move up the ranks.

Off the top of my head Booker T and The Rock are the only two I can think of. However, it's pretty obvious Lashley would've gotten it sooner than later had he not left.

yup i agree. rock is black guy but in my mind i feel he is not the black kind. (due to his fairness.) oh ya, thanks to some of you who mention Booker T and lashey. But ECW champion is worthless to me. Even Matt hardy can capture the ECW cahmpionship. Pure Ridiculous. ECW championship road has not much interesting and intense storyline.

Ha, like I said, I cant think of anybody. His in-ring skills are great, but his mic skills? Could he be more of a Rock/Flair hybrid ripoff?

You're saying him sounding like two of the greatest talkers of all time is a bad thing..? You're probably the only one you're going to find who'll knock Burke's mic skills. They're probably his biggest strength.

I dont watch TNA enough to perhaps, watch him grow or evolve on the mic, but when I did get to see him I couldnt help but think he's pretty unoriginal. Rock & Flair hybrid is the best way I can put it, and yes, while they are two of the best talkers, ripping them off is no way to go about building yourself. It shouldnt have been that easy for me to pick apart who his influences are. For me to be able to do that, while watching as little of him as possible, doesnt say much good about sed mic skills to me.

Why do people think it's racist to even mention someone's skin color?
On topic: booby lashley had the ecw championship, but that doesn't mean much.
