Didn't he have a couple of nice kickoffs in a preseason game before? Yeah, their kicker got hurt and he subbed for the rest of the game.

No offense to soccer fans, but it's not like soccer is a difficult sport to play.

No offense to soccer fans, but it's not like soccer is a difficult sport to play. Go play it then. Professionally I mean. I think Soccer is stupid, but Id NEVER say it was easy to play

Soccer just sucks ass. I don't care for the sport at all. Don't see any of the hype. It's just ing boring to watch, and to play.

It's one thing not to like soccer, but to say it isn't a hard game to play is ridiculous.

See, I was first really introduced to soccer a few years ago, I caught a few games of the MLS playoffs. I loved it. Then I was flipping through the channels a bit later in the year and came across the BPL, Chelsea vs. Manchester United. After seeing that game, the fan support...all of it, I became hooked on the sport.

I would rather punch myself in the face then watch it, but I would NEVER say playing it is easy.
Just looks miserable to play, and you need to be in A+ shape to do it

Perhaps I should've said, soccer is an easy sport to play if you're already an athlete. I get winded running down the field and I'm bored stiff on top of that so it has zero appeal to me. Going from playing any other sport professionally to soccer is not a difficult transition.

Not much of a soccer fan myself, but I did enjoy the world cup.

Not much of a soccer fan myself, but I did enjoy the world cup. The thing that makes the World Cup so interesting is every nation has a team filled with the best soccer players from their respective countries. Think of it like football and the All Star game. During the regular season, there are some great plays and great players...but come pro bowl time, even if it means nothing statistically...those ultimate teams are thoroughly entertaining. Same goes for the World Cup. American players, the good ones are spread out amongst the individual MLS teams, with some on loan in the various European leagues so it's not that...important to some people who aren't huge fans. But put the best players together and have them face the best players from another nation, with it actually MEANING something? It's truly something else. ;D

Nothing beats football season as an American dude. I never said that. Football's my favorite sport, but soccer's a close second for me...both are similarly exciting to me, both games and just day to day talk/activities.

I would watch soccer over baseball any day of the week.
Way too boring for me.

I do fall asleep when I watch a Pirates vs Nationals mid-season classic. That's harsh. It is, but it's true. By July/August both of those teams are out of contention so you're not watching for that reason. Neither of those teams has that one big star that makes it worth watching. I'll watch the Cards whether they're winning or losing just to watch Pujols play or I may watch the Reds to see Votto. Neither the Pirates nor the Nats have that one guy that's worth watching. Strasburg maybe, but he's out this year. There's just no other reason for me to watch when I'm not a fan of either team. I've watched enough Phils/Nats games to see just how horrible the Nats play. Dropped balls, throwing to the wrong base, base running running into the ball, it's just awful, awful baseball. It's damned painful to watch. Last place teams rarely execute well and I hate watching teams that can't execute.

Honestly i can't stand watching baseball. It takes to long and is to slow. That is one of the things like about football. 40 second clock you gotta get the play off and back into the huddle. Also there is timed quarters.
