I hope to God Bisping fights Marquardt, Sonnen, or Belfort....any of them would f*** Bispings world up. I can't stand the guy. He tried the whole being humble thing but hks true character came out last night when he spit...

People fail to mention all the sh*t Rivera (and his camp) was saying about him and his family - there's a difference between hyping a fight and crossing the line... sure, Bisping should have been more professional - but it was kind of understandable too. Bisping by decision. ;D |

Rivera never said anything about his family, just about Bisping himself. That's wrong... it's been all over the papers here. Bisping's said that the comments have been very below the belt and personal about his wife and sick son... that's why he was so worked up and wanted an apology afterwards. Yeah - talk about classless... hitting a guy (hard) when he is clearly unconscious is far worse than an illegal knee, imo. Henderson got off lightly though due to Brock's antics later that night and the "it's a referee's job to stop a fight" BS. I'm not condoning what Bisping did - but to some extent, Rivera brought this on himself... While I respect both of these men as fighters, neither of them deserve much in the way of respect for how they conducted themselves; Rivera pre-fight, Bisping during/post fight. |

I think it will happen, but not in May. UFC 130 already has Edgar/Maynard III, Santiago/Stann, Mir/Nelson, Rampage/Hamill. If this fight does somehow make it to this card, it will probably be quite stacked.

Ahh, good call. When you put it that way, May does seem really premature. With a title fight, I don't see any way you can have Bisping/Belfort unless you bump Santiago/Stann to the prelims (which wouldn't be right).

Show me a quote where Rivera specifically attacked his family. Well I can't can I... it was in the newspapers last week. Off the top of my head: one of the comments was dissing his family's heritage and another was something to do with most Koala's having Chlamydia (aimed at his Australian wife). There was a lot he (Bisping) didn't want published as he said his son was getting teased at school - but the whole thing seemed very below the belt/not just trash-talk. "He was very, very insulting towards me – very insulting," Bisping said at the press conference. "He was mocking me on the Internet, he was saying all kinds of things, making stupid videos and talking about myself and my family – all kinds of stuff. I bit my tongue and said nothing, but it just kind of blew up inside me, and I blew up a little bit. I apologize for that." I'd like to see Sonnen fight Bisping. The trashtalk that would ensue would be better than the fight Lol - this. I'd much rather have Bisping Vs Sonnen than Belfort... I think it's a better fight (classic stand-up fighter against wrestler) and the build-up would be off the charts. Heck - put them both as the next TUF coaches (after Brock/Dos Santos) with the winner to fight Silva.  |

Bottom line, is Rivera got what he deserved and like they say, payback is a you-know-what. Rivera never said anything about his family, just about Bisping himself. Trash-talk happens all the time. Remember the time Bisping really trashed a fighter?... I still fail to see how "Bisping trashed Henderson". Bisping was made out to be a douche, simply because he upstaged Henderson as a coach on TUF, dared to talk back to him, wouldn't pander to him over gym times, etc... all of which put American noses out of joint. |

Absolutely agree with you, Rivera deserved it, prick. I expect Belfort to win by KO, assuming his jaw is still attached after Anderson kicked it off his ing face. The only way I see Bisping winning this if he takes it to the ground, then he can take it by decision. |
