CC Sabathia 2010 Postseason: 5.63 ERA 16.0 innings, 22 hits, 3 HR, 7 walks .333 AVG 1.81 WHIP 2011 Postseason: 6.23 ERA 8.2 Innings, 10 hits, 1HR, 8 WALKS!.323 AVG 2.08 WHIP The guy can really pound the crap out of the Baltimore Orioles during the regular season....but he's pretty useless in the Playoffs. Hopefully he's in better shape this year so he's not a fatigued shell of a man during the Playoffs, the only part of the year that matters. Hows that 2009 World Series sitting with you?

It's sitting very well with me, and I thank Andy Pettitte, Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Damon, A.J. Burnett, Hideki Matsui and Mariano Rivera for it. CC Sabathia spent the 09 World Series being Chase Utley's personal Home Run Derby.....Sabathia did have a good ALCS though, I will say that.

Yankees sign Raul Ibanez. He could have a career year at 40 and hit .300/28 HRs/100 RBIs at New Yankee Stadium in the middle of that lineup.

Pitchers and Catchers report today. You're a week late man. The Pirates reported last weekend I think.

Pitchers and Catchers report today. You're a week late man. The Pirates reported last weekend I think. It was the Mariners and A's. They're playing a series in Japan and were given a head start on ST. All other clubs reported yesterday.

Pedro Gomez on Baseball Tonight said he's 8 days early, and that it's ''Unheard of for someone of his stature to come this early.'' Probably 8 days for the Angels and 4 for some other teams.

Scoscia has said Santana is our 3rd..when the dude is on, he's on (Almost every analyst has said he has the stuff to be the best in our rotation, don't forget his no hitter back in July) ..other than Haren I think he'll be the our most reliable starter. Weaver and Wilson can have bad days, but they'll be the Super Stars..Haren and Santana will be the difference between a .500 win season and a 90+ win season.
