Yanks-Phills today so pumped If you go to your team's website, you can find a link to it in iCal format. Then you can go to Google calendar and import that calendar. Next time your phone (if you've got an Android phone especially) syncs calendars, it downloads the entire thing.

I dunno there are people who year after year still believe guys like Vernon Wells, John Lackey and Zito could actually turn it around.

Watching Yanks-Phils on MLB Network, D-Train is pitching. Really makes me miss the days when we was great. He looks kinda overweight.

I dunno there are people who year after year still believe guys like Vernon Wells, John Lackey and Zito could actually turn it around. Depends. Guys like Zito and Lackey are pitchers so if their times are up it's up, but guys like Wells/Dunn etc can go from .200 seasons to .270 seasons and hit 30+ HRs easy, Wells has shown that he's inconsistent but he can have good years as well.

I dunno there are people who year after year still believe guys like Vernon Wells, John Lackey and Zito could actually turn it around. Not just fans. There are GMS who believe that. Hence, guys like that not only have jobs, but make big money.

It just doesnt happen all the time

Haven't been paying too much attention to my Cubbies lately; for those of you that are more well informed than I, how goddamn bad are they gonna be this year? Theo is giving me some hope, but should I even have that?
PM me a link to the fantasy league Ralpho; I'd play

Vernon Wells only had 3 good years with the Jays, 03, 06 and 10. So I guess he is due for one around 2014.

I'm just trolling, more like 2-3 ''great'' years and 1-2 good years. And Ralpho you do realize our GM pretty much got fired over that trade right.

I'll be going to opening day at Tropicana Field to see my Rays take on the Yankees. Might end up going to all three of that weekend's series, not sure just yet.
Looking forward to what should be a great season for Tampa Bay. We've got one of the nastiest pitching rotations in baseball.

Its not like Vernon Wells can be removed from your team once the GM got fired. Remember you gave up Napoli in all that too.

Vernon Wells had some good years. However, the dude always had a terrible OBP.

Some decent players still on the free agent market. Does every MLB team think that they have better players in ever spot than adding one of these guys? Or are these guys not ready to accept that they are declining and refusing to take a lower paycheck to reflect their lowering production?
Are these older, or injured, free agents now just playing the waiting game to see when a team suffers an injury? Or who on this list of guys do you think is done and will never play another MLB game?
Derek Lee Johnny Damon Hideki Matsui Pudge Rodriguez Vlad Guerrero Roy Oswalt Javier Vazquez Brandon Webb
I know Webb is rehabbing, but I'm surprised no team wants Damon, and I'm really surprised no team really was that interested in Oswalt, unless he just wants too much money?
