heat looked real good tonight. i expect them to make quick work out of the sixers. Celtics on the other hand are going to have a tough time with the Knicks. I hope they got the first game jitters out of their systems and can get the job done in game 2

Another crappy first half from Da Bulls... This team needs to get it together

I dunno, the Pacers are starting to convince me that they are a better team than they're billed as.
They don't really have any weaknesses except isolation scoring... offensively and defensively.

Questionable call on the Hibbert offensive foul.
Bulls had them beat anyway.
Rose was great again.

My dad couldn't sell his tickets to game 2 tonight so I'm going. I don't really care about the Pacers but it's cool to go to a playoff game. We have tickets to one game in each series. It's a late start so I'll have some time to get my work done before. Hopefully this game isn't as close as Game 1 and the Bulls ball out. Have fun BriGuy, I've only been to a handful of Bulls games but they were always good. Where are your seats at? (I've only been in nosebleeds....) Seats were in the upper level behind the basket but not the corner and not directly behind the basket. If that makes sense. 2nd row so it's nice to be able to see everything. Awesome game and the crowd was fantastic as always. Another slow start for the Bulls but they get it done.

Pretty damn good coach in Adelman just hit the market. I'm praying he doesn't end somewhere that's a total cluster like Houston was for him. I still think he's one of the top 2 to 3 coaches to have never won a ring.

MVP MVP MVP God, I love having D.Rose on my team I'm still in awe that the Bulls got first pick in the Draft lottery that year. I believe they had like a 2% chance of getting the first pick and they got it. Can you imagine if the Bulls didn't get that first pick, Derrick Rose would probably be in Miami right now?

Rose wasn't the obvious #1 pick that year, and many people thought the Bulls needed a bigger guy.

Jesus, what a nightmare taking Beasley would have been. Would have been right up there with Greg Oden and Sam Bowie as being the worst mistakes in the draft

Blazers got more out of Bowie than they will from Oden.

What's funny as I can think of 3 or 4 picks that the Blazers made that were worse than those two.
LaRue Martin in 1972 #1 pick, played 4 seasons in which he averaged 5.3 pts and 4.6 rebounds a game. They selected him over hall of famer Bob McAdoo. What makes it worse is that unlike Bowie over Jordan where they didn't need a SG(Drexler was a premier SG), they actually needed a big and clearly picked the worst one.
Trading down from #3 to #6 and selecting Martell Webster in 2005. #3 Deron Williams #4 Chris Paul and even #5 Raymond Felton all better than Webster. What sucks is they actually needed a PG and they passed on 2 of the very best in the league today.
Oden is more of a literal bust than a figurative bust. What I saw last year was a guy who can dominate both sides of the floor, there's only one other guy in the league today who can do that today and that's Dwight Howard. Oden's PER was off the charts before he had one of the most inexplicable injuries I've ever seen.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but I can rationalize Oden and Bowie moreso than Martell Webster.

The crowd at part seemed like it was falling out of it, which was understandable because of how they were playing, but towards the end, they really did seem to be loud as all hell. Yeah, I wasnt really expecting the same slow start from them, and I was kinda dissapointed with that. I dont know if they're just not turning it up all the way for this series because its the Pacers, or what it really is, but they need to be going at full speed from here on out. It may be easy to come back from defecits against an 8-seed, but that wont cut it against teams like Miami or Boston, so I hope they know that, and can really get it straight come tomorrow.

The Blazers could have drafted Kevin Durant instead of Greg Oden. I can see why at the time they would want to take Oden over Durant, but it still sucks.

Damn, that's too bad because if they made that call the Knicks actually win.
Oh well, hopefully nothing like that gets missed tonight.

Great quote from Adelmann: ''I came here to coach Yao and Tracy and I got Luis and Chuck.''

Great quote from Adelmann: ''I came here to coach Yao and Tracy and I got Luis and Chuck.'' Haha where was that article? It is true though. I have a feeling Houston is going to regret this decision. The guy's a winner, simple as that.
