With all the "Owen's wife doesn't want WWE to make any money off of Owen's likness" stuff we hear you'd think WWE and/or Mattel would work something out to benifit the fans and make an Owen figure with no WWE name on package (just a simple redesign of the current package) and donate the WWE's revenue portion of that figure to a charity. I mean at some point, they should put the fans interest ahead of the WWE. In an ideal world I would love for mattel, wwe and owen's wife to sort out a deal where 100% of all profits go to the owen hart charity. I know Owen's wife doesn't want his name linked in anyway to WWE so maybe an exclusive with special packaging like u mentioned with no WWE logos. That way all the owen hart fans can get a figure of him and also help his charity with what would be a very sizable donation. 100% of the profits would be huge and WWE would not benefit financially in anyway.

um no. Owen Hart was his real name, Martha gained all rights to his estate when he passed. thus she owns all rights to his likeness and since she hates Vince/WWE she won't play ball with them so we'll never see a figure. Unless, and yes this is a awful thought but still a possiblity, she passes away one day. Not sure that's worth a plastic figure though. Wouldn't matter. the rights would legally stay with her estate.

Yeah she overdosed, I'm pretty sure she was addicted to pain meds. Bam Bam, Mr Perfect, and Eddie all died from drugs and were all still made. so drugs won't hinder them getting a figure. Technically Bam Bam and Eddie died of heart problems from years of drug abuse. Eddie had been clean for quite some time when he passed. I'm pretty sure Hennig died of a cocaine overdose.

Bam Bam, Mr Perfect, and Eddie all died from drugs and were all still made. so drugs won't hinder them getting a figure. So was Brian Pillman and British Bulldog. As far as wrestlers that we may never see there are going to be a few. I asked someone from Mattel and they mentioned that when the original interview was released it was in regards to figures that have a very huge fan base like wanting an Owen figure there are 2 that wont get signed. Everyone one else is up for grabs but its really based on the high demand of the Superstar/Legend. So I figure the list could go on and on, like: Mike Awesome, Chris Canyon, Billy Graham, Tug Boat, But it also depends on who is willing to sign on the dotted line.

Did you find out who they were referring to?

Eddie had been clean for quite some time when he passed. I'm pretty sure Hennig died of a cocaine overdose. cardiac arrest or heart failure is just a way to doll up the word "overdose". "The autopsy results showed that Bigelow's death was due to multiple drugs found in his system including toxic levels of cocaine and an anti-anxiety drug.[11] Bigelow was also suffering from a heart problem,[11] specifically arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease." regardless drugs won't make a figure not get released unless those drugs lead you down the road of killing your wife, son, and yourself. then Vince will draw the line.

isn't it interesting though that they already made bulldog and pillman from that hart foundation era? assuming bret and anvil are also made from that era it would be incomplete without owen.
