Defending is hard to get used to, I'm slowly getting there though. It also took me ages to score a header, dunno why, but I'm scoring a fair few now.
Anyone else feel that you need more power on shots now?

I love the new angle, finding it really hard to get used to this new defending system though, I always find myself holding X down. Really like the amount of control you've got on the ball though, it really helps to build up attacks more.

I am not liking the defense, jockeying seems to do nothing at all, but I find it is easier to keep the ball in this game, passes seem shorter and lighter. I've only won 1 game on professional and that was City vs Marseille.

I think the defending can be tough to use but i think im sort of getting there , Had Barcelona against Marseille last night , was winning 3-0 after 20 mins(game time) and found Marseille changed there system completly and i couldn't get in anymore, ended up 3-1 with them catching me fantasticly on the counter, Any one else find anything similar happen, Really looking forward to this now

Not too keen on this new defending system, finding myself going to ground more often. I hope in the full version you can change whether you want the new defending in or revert to the old style.
Have no trouble scoring though, Johan Djourou is a beast ;D

I've played five games (Second Highest difficulty?) and had three 0-0 Draws. Don't know what you're all complaining about

But in offline modes only, which is fair because if people can simply go back to that method online then no-one will opt to use the new style.

That's a relief, hardly played online (only played friends) on FIFA11 so that's good news.

Cheers for showing me that deal, will probably use it for both. Works out at £33 which is cheaper than everywhere else. I can only find the special edition in other places and as I don't care about Ultimate Team I'm happy to forgo that for the £8 saving.

Don't see the point in turning the tac defending off, I'm just gonna keep playing till I get used to it. Since they'll prob build on that in later games, you may as well get use to it now.
Also found out if you press Select (PS3) in the game you become the goalie, what an awesome addition. Sadly I'm no good at the moment.

Really can't wait for Fifa now, just want to start a season mode now, shame you can't in the demo like FM, do half a season and be able to continue when the games released.

Think I'll just go and get it from Asda at midnight again. No point ordering from Tesco, as I won't get it until a few days after release.

Going to take major flack for this, but, having played both demos, I prefer PES. Sure, I'll get Fifa as I'll have mates to play with, and love the season modes; but I am finding PES so much more fun. The games are ridiculously open (I keep winning 5-4, 4-3 and even had a 7-5 earlier), whereas on Fifa, I either win 1-0, or keep on drawing 0-0 (or losing).
