Seems good so far I am having far more trouble scoring than I am with the new defending to be honest, I started a career with Spurs and only played my friendly's and my opening game against everton (which i won 1-0) I can't really describe it well but so far when ever I have managed to cut inside the box and fire a shot mainly with defoe or adebayor it would fly a mile wide. I am not complaining it will just take some time to get used to.
One funny thing with the new physics engine was when I did a low cross into the box and somehow from facing goal adebayor managed to some weird back heel side foot combo thing the ball off the post it looked really weird lol.
I am glad of a challenge as I think Fifa is one of those series that once you master it you vary rarely lose against the cpu.

Ordered mine from HMV and it arrived the day before it came out. Played it a little yest but will be killing it over the next few days. Everything looks good so far although it is hard.

Got mine at midnight last night. Hated it at first, but after starting my career mode with Tottenham, am really enjoying it. The player prices are ridiculously high, however. Mario Gotze for £40 million is  ing insane. Ended up signing these players (after selling pretty much 3/4's of my squad): Thomas Muller - £30 million Matteo Musacchio - £11 million Seydou Doumbia - £22.8 million Ignazio Abate - £10.5 million Andreas Beck - £6 million The game has been really weird so far. I was leaking goals in my three pre season matches, but have been hammering loads past the best teams during the actual season, and hardly conceeding. Started a career as Newcastle with my VP at CB. Sold Steve Taylor and Simpson but brought in Landon Donovan.
Been playing Pro Clubs for a few hours as that will take up 90% of my playing time over the next year. Those black boxes that pop-up on the right side after matches to notify you of friends' progress can be bemusing. "Joe Bloggs has just played a pro clubs match and won 1-0." I know. I was in the game with him.

Played it last night and love it! Definitely much more comfortable with the new defending that I was on the demo.
Started a Career with Brighton, enjoying that so far. Signed Michael Owen for £2.2m and Sasa Papac for £1.5m and have made a 100% start to the season. From what i've seen so far of it, Career Mode is much more realistic with the players having conversations with you etc.

Had to start a new season with Leeds since my QPR one was corrupt. Brought in Michael Owen and Shaun Derry in so far. Got rid of some useless players and loaned out some young ones. Got a message from Snodgrass the second game into the campaign saying he wanted to leave. Sold him to Newcastle for 4.2 million.  Currently 1st in The Championship after 5 games, 1 draw and 4 wins. Got knocked out of the Carling Cup against Watford. |

Playing my manager mode with Chelsea and i'm well addicted. Loving the new transfers, so far i've purchased... Mario Gomez £29m Sami Khedira £11m Fabricio Colocini £6m Marek Hamsik £31m Sold, Didier Drogba (Man Utd) £13m Frank Lampard (Bayern M) £14m Kalou (Malaga) £7m Anelka (Bayern M) £8m I had a nightmare start with a 3-0 loss away at Stoke (they bought Hernandez  ), two 0-0 draws against West Brom and Norwich but I got the suprise 2-1 win at Old Trafford, Raul Meireles scoring both. After that i've strung together a pile of 1-1 draws and 1-0 wins, finding myself 4th in the league after 13 games. My most eventful games have been my 1-0 win against Arsenal (Hamsik tap in) and a 2-2 draw against Liverpool (after 60 mins I scored an equliser with Khedira then an 88th minute goal with Torres, in stoppage time Carrol scored a header. Still to play Spurs and City, hoping for wins. Playing QPR in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup, hopefully I will take win the trophy as Arsenal are the only other big team left. |

My 2nd Career Mode game has just corrupted. Just been reading on the Fifa 12 forums and other people have also experienced it. Really annoyed with it, seems the same problem every year.

Career mode with Utd. Sold the dross, accepted 30m from Chelsea for Nani too but he didn't want to leave. Signed Cambiasso for 11m, Lahm for 26m and Sweinstiger for 24m.

ing hell. I am in mid January in my season already. Been playing far too much. Had an absolute mare today. Have won every single game, until a home match against Bolton. Should have been a rountine win (beat them 3-1 in the League Cup), but I inexplicably ended up 3-0 down at half time, and ended up losing by the same scoreline. January transfer window is currently open. Sold off Kaboul for £6.5 mil, and got in Stefan Reinartz and Sidney Sam from Bayer Leverkusen. Should finish my season soon, so will do a full recap on the goings down after that. First game after those signings, was a 3-2 defeat away at Manchester City, which was fine as I increased the difficulty. |

I hate it.. It's my own fault I just can't get used to the new tackling system and might as well play fifa 11 if I want the old one. Probably trade it in to avoid any breaking of discs then use it for skyrim when thats out maybe. |
