Hey y'all, Here are answers to the questions from the previous thread with the Mattel Design Team. www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=18955&page_id=1Just a couple of things: Please, please PLEASE for future qsessions, stop asking the same questions about TNA and UFC talent. Mattel has been answering these questions for over a year now, almost before they were even launched, and it looks like the same ones pop up every time. NO TALENT CONTRACTED TO OTHER COMPANIES WILL BE MADE BY MATTEL. NO FIGURES OF PREVIOUSLY CONTRACTED TALENT SCRAPPED FOR ANY REASON WILL BE RELEASED BY MATTEL.This is not Mattel's request, it is mine. It is wasting Mattel's time, it is wasting our time, and it is wasting your time. Other, better questions could be asked and answered. Normally I wouldn't care but to see Mattel being nice enough to answer the same questions that I know everyone here already knows is unnecessary. They are doing us as fans a favor by answering our questions. Simply put, repeatedly asking the same question will not change the answer. We want to keep Mattel around, keep communicating with them and keep getting information that they will give us. Let's make this more of an enjoyable experience as opposed to what it feels like for me right now, and that's a mouse running into a wall over and over and over and over and over again. lol i just made a thread asking where the "ask mattel" thread was then this popped up. Thanks !  So Legends will continue but it sounds like there will be some sort of change, hmmm... well good news anyhow... Bring on Earthquake! |

Thanks for answering my question MDT Glad they will be improving Zeke's figures. Current Elite Rock is good news as is the Elite Wade in the works. |

i think I'm most excited about a current Elite Rock, although that was all good information, I would seriously love a Brock Lesnar legends figure but that sucks we won't get it for a while, same goes for Sting and Hogan

i think I'm most excited about a current Elite Rock, although that was all good information, I would seriously love a Brock Lesnar legends figure but that sucks we won't get it for a while, same goes for Sting and Hogan Yeah, I knew about Sting and Hogan not being made for the time being but had some hope of Lesnar. Forgot about the Jakks UFC contract. When does it expire? |

I've come tto acceopt that there will always be idiots here who keep asking for Owen, Elizabeth and TNA personell and the best option is for whoever is picking the questions to IGNORE/DISREGARD THEM. Why pick a question you have answered 500 times before?
Good stuff though, I think that confirms The Bellas for an upcoming two pack series. Mattel is really slacking on the divas and its killing my interest.

Glad to see some of the same questions being asked, and for some stupid reason re-answered time and time again. At least my question was a valid one that hadn't been answered before.

Seems like they finally answered a bunch of questions isntead of the usual "we'll see!!" or "stay tuned!"
Interesting about the distribution...that some retailers try and get the entire wave.
So that explains why TRU always gets nothing. Walmart & Target buy out the entire inventory.
Terrible business.
This, however, scares me:
"McGowan111: Is the Legends Line safe?
MDT: We will continue to offer Legends figures. Our specific plans will be revealed at SDCC.[/b"
I'd bet they are going to 1 per set Legends with the Elite sets....either that or the Legends line is going to be cut down significantly....like every set will only be 4 figs from now on.
I guess it's better than nothing...but still, I like 5 per set, nice rounded number. Still enough to be a "set"

My guess is Legends will become MattyCollector exclusives. Which I dont mind as long as I can get my hands on them.
