I just got my Elite 10 from UPS, and one of the things I was looking forward to most was the WHC that came with Kane. I've had, since Mattel's inception, a Jakks WHC on the current champions figure. Now replacing it is more of a downgrade, rather than an upgrade. Mattel did an excellent job on the WWE TItle. But the World Title is very dull, it looks cheap and isn't even shiny. The belt looks awkward around Orton's waist, and even more so on his shoulder. I prefer the Jakks belt to this anyday. I will try to get pics up later today (My camera battery is charging). But I wanted to see what other people thought of this belt right away. On a side note, the Tag Titles aren't as nice as the WWE & IC title, but do make a nice addition to the belt collection. I can't wait for current Tag Titles though.   *note: the belt is on the tighest it can be in this pic below    |

I have a 1/500 WHC, so I never see myself picking up the Mattel one.

My entire set should be here later today or early tomorrow tops, but its such a disappointment to hear this, hopefully its not that bad, the pics looked fine so guess we will see what it brings. as long as i got a WHC thats all i care about really haha

Can you possably switch the plates with Jakks? If not I guess I can always repaint it with a shiney gold paint. Maybe a gloss?

Well, at least with Mattel, they improve on things. We talked about issues with the knee pads, so they switched to a better rubber. We had similar issues with the molded coats, and now those are easier to get on and off of a figure. We talked about the issues with the ankles of Elite figures, which was somewhat addressed.
Hell, we even bothered them about stands and the masked CM Punk, and they have addressed both of those.
If the majority opinion is that there's an issue with the belt's quality, I have faith in Mattel to listen.

Yeah I got mine aswell, very dull. Actually looks like the 4 pack target ex belt, except has painted red jewels

hmm, i kinda want the updated kane fig anyway so i'm not to botherred about it. it is still kinda dissapointing though.

Well damn it. That belt was one of the things I was most looking forward to. I had concerns seeing the MOC images but I didn't think Mattel would actually drop the ball on something so big, especially when their other titles have been quite excellent.

Kinda blows cause that was the only reason I planned on buying that Kane. Maybe Mattel will address it in the next Q & A?
