For some reason, I saw Del Rio going to AAA coming as soon as he got released. I just thought he would have went there as Del Rio or not as Dos Caras Jr.. I would said it's because Del Rio was unmasked in WWE, but Memo Montenegro was unmasked in WWE and he went to IWRG after his release as el Hijo del Dos Caras masked. I wonder if he'll turn heel and join up with La Sociedad/Legion Extranjera or be babyface and fight off La Sociedad. IIRC the mask can be worn in the country it was not taken off in. The mask can be worn, too, if the name is changed, ala Silver King to Cain. Del Rio will def. Go with Perro Aguayo. Perros Del Mal just got a new meaning. VPV

I guess I'll find out on luchaworld the night after.

www.luchaworld.com/?p=40883Alberto Del Rio will now be called "El Patron" in AAA. I would have liked to copy the article, but the browser I'm in won't let me copy from luchaworld.

Didn't overly care for Vampiro and whoever the other dude was as the English commentators for Triplemania. Did Triplemania come on PPV? I love AAA, but have never watched a Triplemania, or heard any english on sin limite. I keep thinking they will release them on dvd sooner or later, but I have never seen them, even on the AAA site. They would do great over here, if they even did official manufacture on demand dvd through AAA english site. VPV

Just got finished watching the CMLL 81th Anniversary Show. What a great show! First match was Blue Panther,, Cachorro and Dragon Lee, who replaced Black Panther, against La Dinastia Casas, which are Felino and his sons Puma and Tiger. It was a much better match than I expected with Blue Panther, Cachorro and Dragon Lee winning the match 2 falls to 1. The next match was a Torneo Cibernetico Feminil for la Copa 81th Anniversario. The technicas were Princesa Sugei, Estrellita, Goya Kong and Marcela and the Rudas were Tiffany, Dalis la Caribena (who was painted in half and full face, something similar to how Prince Devitt would have his paint), Zeuxis and Amapola. I was surprised that Goya Kong lasted as long as she did and I was surprised Estrellita got eliminated pretty early. The order of eliminations went Tiffany, Estrellita, Dalis, Princesa Sugei, Goya Kong, Amapola and at the end, Zeuxis won in an upset, beating CMLL Women's Champion Marcela. Next match was Volador Jr., Mascara Dorada and Valiente (technicos) vs. Mr. Niebla, Euforia and Thunder, who recently turned rudo for whatever reason. The match was OK, I expected more though since Volador Jr. was involved. They did a spot where Dorada and Valiente dove onto Thunder, but he no sold it until Volador Jr. dove onto him. The technicos won two falls to none after Thunder threw Volador onto pretty much everyone else in the match and got disqualified, which confused me. Now comes the three big matches of the night, plus the three matches I was looking forward to. In the first of two lucha de apuestas went Rey Cometa going against el Cavernario, cabellera contra cabellera. This is a good match. I especially loved the spot where Cavernario was on the apron, and he went between the top and middle turnbuckle and dove onto Rey Cometa in the next side of the ring (think Sami Zayn going in between the middle and bottom rope to dive and do the tornado DDT on Cesaro). Cavernario won the match two falls to one, which I pretty much thought he would win since he lost his title match a few months back and CMLL wants to push Cavernario, so they gave him this apuestas win. The next match was for the CMLL World Tag Team titles. It was Rush and La Mascara, who were technicos, but acted like rudos, vs. the champions Negro Casas and Shocker, who were rudos, but since the fans hated Rush and La Mascara, they cheered for Negro and Shocker. The match was very good, my second favorite match of the night. At the final fall, Rush and La Mascara pulled the referee away in order for him not to count the win. Negro Casas and Shocker retained their title, two falls to one, which the crowd loved the finish since Rush and La Mascara did not win. The main event was the match that people waited more than a year to see, and many fans thought CMLL robbed them from this match at last year's Anniversary show. It was mascara contra mascara between Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero. The fans were emotionally invested in this match the entire time. This was my favorite match of the night. The first two falls went by really quickly. in the third fall, Atlantis kept going for his finisher, but Ultimo managed to get out every time. One note I wanted to say was, the referee kept annoying me cause there were times where he looked like he counted three, but didn't. Anyways, two falls to one, Atlantis finally managed to lock in his finisher and won the match. The crowd went wild for the finish. They kept showing Ultimo Guerrero's family in the crowd crying. They announced Ultimo Guerrero's real name as Jose Hernandez (forgot the middle name) with 26 years of wrhttp://www.luchaworld.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/CMLL091914P15.jpgestling experience. I was actually shocked at this finish cause I expected Atlantis to lose his mask. It was a very good show, I hope CMLL keeps streaming their major shows. EDIT: Just wanted to post some of the pictures of some of the finishes, found on luchaworld.com

www.luchaworld.com/?p=42634This is an awesome website for lucha news. I get most of my information about what's going on in lucha libre world from luchaworld.com, which is the website where I got the pictures from the CMLL 81th Anniversary Show. Anyways, the link I posted was the Lucha Report for 9/22. I'm going to start posting more regularly with these lucha reports. Nothing spectacular happened in the last few days of these shows. For those CZW fans, at the Chilanga Mask on 9/20, Kaientai defeated Makabre to earn a booking from CZW and los Traumas, who are IWRG regulars, announced that they will also be getting a booking from CZW next year. That's pretty much all that was noteworthy that happened these past couple days beside the two CMLL shows from Arena Coliseo and Arena Coliseo de Guadalajara. Anyone's who interested, the link is on here in case anyone wants to find out the shows that took and future lineups. It;s a very good website if anyone's interested in lucha libre.

AK-47 even wrote on his Facebook that IWRG knew they were working the other event but they advertised them anyways on purpose for whatever reasonDanny Casas/Hijo del Pirata Morgan/Pirata Morgan Jr. defeated Super Nova/Toscano/Veneno La Famila Dinamita (Cien Caras Jr./Hijo del Mascara Ano 2000/Universo 2000 Jr.) defeated Canis Lupis/Demon Clown/Eterno

LA Parks forehead is looking more like Dusty Rhodes's, i don't usually watch Lucha but the Atlantis vs. Ultimo Guerrero was awesome, the match was good but not great but the crowd, how loud they were and the post match with Guerrero unmasking was just awesome to watch you'll rarely see real emotion in wrestling these days

Cibernetico truly is the main man. He never gets enough exposure in America. The man can work the mic, and the ring.

Lucha Underground debuts tonight on El Ray, but for those that don't have that channel my listings say that UniMas channel is going to show it Saturdays at 3pm. It does not look like a one time thing either.

It does not look like a one time thing either. I'm getting all warm and fuzzy having Lucha Underground and CMLL back to back on Saturday afternoons. Watching Chavo and Blue Demon Jr now. God damn, Striker sounds so condescending pronouncing Demon "Dee-moan."
