As if you guys didn't know, this week's DLC was an Elton John pack. The Bitch Is Back Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me I'm Still Standing If you recognized a certain track, YES. Yes, it is the same track. I'm Still Standing, which was featured on RB: Blitz, and exported to RB3 for free with the purchase of said Blitz, is in the pack.  Anyways, I'm making the jump to Pro mode when I get paid. I will be ordering a PRO Guitar - the Fender Mustang one - with my check this Friday. With the 86 tracks I already have [83 on RB3, plus "2112", "Bark At The Moon", and "Mama, I'm Comin' Home"], I will be getting a point card and adding that to the 140 MSP I already have. Yep the Blitz song. I would assume they're doing this since Wii players didn't get Blitz. And they'll continue this trend until all Blitz tracks are normal DLC. A 3-pack of a Blitz artist with their song and 2 others. That's good because that means we could feasibly get another 3 pack from the likes of Shinedown, Iron Maiden, and Avenged Sevenfold!

I mean...they have been my favorite band since I was twelve when I first heard them in 2004 so I mean this is good to have more of their songs on Rock Band and such. Haha.

Woo! Getting closer to being caught up. Down to 19 singles and 2 packs, that includes me buying "Helena" and "Teenagers" as singles, not the whole MCR pack since I have "Sing" via Blitz. $38 left.....as usual, that still does not include the 3 big packs from last year: Coldplay, Jimi Hendrix, and Queen. I have 2244 songs now after what I got last night.

Wow.....Pro mode will be a bitch! That is gonna take like daily practice.......for several hours at that. To learn the finger positioning, to learn how far apart all the strings are on the Mustang.....but I am up for the challenge. Can't wait to get good and transition into songs.

Blitz pattern is continuing. There was the 3 Blitz singles and most recently, a Rick Springfield 3- pack with Jesse's Girl. I can't wait to see what we get when it comes time for like the Avenged pack, the Kelly Clarkson pack and....OOOOH a Living Colour pack! Please give us An Open Letter To A Landlord. I'd die.

I don't know those other 2 Rick Springfield songs at all.
I'm glad Rock Band is still pumping out songs. I know some people have moved on from this genre, but to me, music never gets old, and this game never stops being fun.

Harmonix has said that they're alternating weeks where it's Blitz stuff and then all new stuff until all the Blitz stuff is on the marketplace. Mainly seems to be because of the Wii users

One of the Harmonix guys mentioned on their forums that only one Blitz artist was getting new content alongside their Blitz track, and that turned out to be Rick Springfield. |
