BC what do you play on? If 360, add me. We can jam out sometime. That goes for any of my fellow RB'ers. The farewell tour is on. We need some "shows", lmao Yeah I will add you I play on 360. But which gamertag? You have two? I've never actually played Rock Band with anybody online. Offline, sure. I even have the Rock Band Stage Kit with bad ass smoke and flashing lights. JMPunk883 is my online tag. I wanted to get the Stage Kit but when it was being made, GameStop only ever had a display box and never actually had the thing for sale.

I got the Stage Kit a while after it had been out. I think the price was down to $20 at GameStop. It was way too expensive at first. When I played it at my brother's house, his kids would just sit in front of the kit waiting for the smoke to blast them in the face. Weirdos. It's pretty damn cool, though, with the crazy strobe light show.

I remember Billy talking about him trying out his and him, Nick and Tyler were practically choking on the smoke and all of that and such. Haha.

Could've done with a more upbeat Queensryche song but any Ryche in RB works for me

#10 on the leader board for Silent Lucidity. 'twas a whole hell of a lot more fun than I expected but I also think they overrated the difficulty. Haha. I also played Band On The Run the other day and was #67 on the leader board which I thought was damn impressive

Chevelle finally debuted this week. Face To The Floor, The Red, and Send The Pain Below.
The last song, coming next week, has been confirmed as "American Pie" by Don McLean. It fits. Sad to see the end has finally come. My friend told me that there was a rumor going around that the reason DLC is ending is that the next RB will be next-gen and the current peripherals will not work with next-gen consoles. And before anyone says it, they never once said they weren't doing another RB, and they never said they were done with it, as in RB is dead after next week. They simply said they need to shift resources to other projects. Now no title in development by them is an RB title right now, that much is true. But what if that's part of the reason for the end of DLC? Just some food for thought.

Such a perfect song for them to end with.

Wowwww over 5 months since a reply.
Since Rock Band isn't really a thing anymore, maybe my peoples can help me out. I just landed the entire Beatles kit - Hofner, drums, and the mic with stand - however, the bass and drums did not come with their respective dongles to play them. Does anyone have PS3 dongles I could get for relatively cheap? I'd need 2. Thanks.

Crazy find. Searching the GameStop app, it revealed that a location close to me had a PS3 Fender Mustang Pro Guitar. So I called.
GS: "Thanks for calling GameStop. [Insert phone schpleel here]. How can I help you?"
ME: "Yes, I was calling to confirm something from the app. It said that you had a PS3 Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar in stock, I was wondering if you had it or if the app was wrong?"
GS: "It said I had what?"
ME: "A Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar for PS3."
GS: "Wow, I didn't think I still had those. Let me check the computer. Hold one second please."
*comes back*
GS: "Wow. I guess I do have one. Did not know that."
ME: "Sweet! Can you hold that for me and I'll be in today to get it?"
GS: "Absolutely. We'll see you when you get here."
ME: "Thanks much!"
**fast forward 7 hours later**
Went to GameStop, asked the guy there and he went to the back and got it. I used a $5 Power Up certificate and walked out with a new Pro Mustang guitar for $39. Score.

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system January 21)www.harmonixmusic.com/blog/rb-dlc-11315/I just checked my e-mail after several days away and I never thought I would see this happen. Not after 21 months. It doesn't sound like weekly DLC will be returning, but Harmonix could release more songs in the weeks/months ahead.

Wow, that's awesome. Nothing I'm really interested in, but it's good news nonetheless. Now if I could only find a new bass pedal...

They released a survey today asking people what they wanted in Rock Band 4. Hopefully this year or next year we get a new one.

I'd love a new one, but I'd have to hope for a last gen version. I don't have space for new peripherals and I would still need the old ones to play the older games.

The only way I'd play a new one is they included ALL songs from all the previous games on top of whatever new stuff they add. I've felt that the DLC has been overpriced since its inception.

Something From Nothing and Shepherd of Fire are awesome new songs. Crazy to think that we're posting in here like 2 years after weekly DLC stopped. I would totally buy a next gen version even if it can't include all the DLC I've purchased over the years. I haven't played Rock Band 3 in entirely too long, maybe I'll go back.

Yeah, being able to play all (Or most; I get that licensing issues can happen) of the songs from previous games would be nice. It's not like they haven't allowed us to import them before though, so that hopefully wouldn't be a problem. Personally, I'm just hoping to see some new Machine Head songs now. Stuff from their new album (Or the whole thing) would be great.

I'd be fine paying a one time fee to transfer currently owned DLC to a new version on PS4 or XB1. I understand it will cost them to re-license a lot of stuff, and I'd be willing to pay it. But odds are if we can't transfer over most of the stuff I have already bought, then I will likely pass.
