I feel like with RB 4 coming out in a couple months, this deserves resurrection.
For those of you with Spotify subscriptions, Harmonix has a Spotify playlist of the set list so far.
How many of the classic Rock Band thread heads are gonna pick this up? And are any of you actually going to buy Guitar Hero Live?

I'm definitely buying it. Loving a lot of the classic rock choices like The Seeker and A Passage to Bangkok. Just need to get a pre-order and watch my funds slip away...
Not buying Guitar Hero. It's not the guitar that draws me to these games. It's the drums, the singing, and the playing with friends. I can actually play a real guitar and I find that more fun. Plus, they changed their guitar controller and I don't need too many of those lying around the house that can only be used with one game.
Actually, something worth pointing out is that Rock Band 4 is NOT launching with online play. I don't mind so much since I prefer playing offline with people next to me, but I know this could be important to some.

I have my full band bundle for RB4 reserved already. Nice $25 discount on it.
I'm getting GH Live also. Good songs on it as well, and I'm interested in trying the new 6 button guitar. Plus, reserving that was more for m'lady since you get bonus Avenged Sevenfold content for the game for pre-ordering. I did the 2 guitar bundle there.

And for me, the online thing is literally of no consequence to me. I played MAYBE 5 times online across 3 games and over 5 years of support in the original run. RB was not an online MP game to me. For me, having 2 or more people, it's entirely more fun to have them in the same room.

Not that I won't pay the full price, but if I can save a buck or two it never hurts.

Yeah the online play is definitely not a deal breaker for me. I don't recall a time past the first Rock Band game that I played online. It's definitely more of a couch co-op game for me.

For me, the lack of online is kind of a deal breaker and has made me think twice about getting the new game. If they include a lot of songs I really like, I will get it. Otherwise, I might pass till they add an online mode.

Both games, full band RB4 and GH Live, two guitar bundle, with release day delivery, total of $386 shipped.

My favorite things about Rock Band 3 were the pro guitar and the keyboard, so it feels like RB4 is taking a step back. I love their games, but I'm not exactly pumped because what I played most is gone.
The Guitar Hero game I am VERY leery about. They became really boring and uninspired after a while. I don't think a video of a crowd is going to win me over, but who knows?

I pre-ordered the Rock Band 4 Band-in-a-Box bundle for the PS4 when it was first listed for sale back in mid-June, so yeah I'm definitely all-in on the next Rock Band game. I've found myself completing regular bass goals in Rock Band 3 this summer in anticipation of the new game's release. It is the one game that I'm looking forward to most of all from the remaining 2015 schedule, and I can't wait to add as many of the 1,800+ songs as possible that I own in DLC to Rock Band 4. Does anyone know if DLC will require as much space (or more) for storage on the PS4? Also, has there been any word on improvements to the calibration process for PS4 users?

Per the latest Harmonix newsletter: Hey gang! We’re are excited to announce that Rock Band 4 is now available for digital pre-orders for PlayStation®4 via the PlayStation®Network in North America, South America, and Central America.
Rock Band 4 software will work with most previous PlayStation® Rock Band and third party wireless music game controllers and microphones, as well as your Rock Band DLC previously purchased for PlayStation®, meaning that PlayStation gamers will be ready to rock when the game is available on October 6!
As a bonus, PlayStation®Plus members who pre-order the game will receive 10 additional songs to play in Rock Band 4 that are only available for free at launch through this PlayStation-exclusive offer. Additionally, PlayStation®Plus members who pre-order the game will immediately be able to download an exclusive PlayStation®4 theme.
Bonus songs include:
All That Remains – “Divide” Blitz Kids – “Run For Cover” Bring Me The Horizon – “Throne” Dead Sara – “Mona Lisa” Duran Duran – “The Reflex” Janis Joplin – “Move Over” Of Mice & Men – “Would You Still Be There” Oh Honey – “Sugar, You” Pantera – “Cowboys From Hell (Live from Monsters In Moscow Festival)” Seasick Steve – “Summertime Boy” Per the Rock Band forums: Here's a brief FAQ on the Sony Digital Pre-Order!
Q: How much will it cost me to pre-order? You can pre-order Rock Band 4 for PlayStation 4 and be ready to rock for launch day for $59.99 on the PlayStation Network.
Q: If I'm not a member of PlayStation Plus, can I still pre-order the game? Of course! However, only PlayStation Plus members will get access to 10 additional DLC songs, as well as get immediate access to a Rock Band 4 theme for the PlayStation 4.
Q: If I don't pre-order the game or am not a member of PlayStation Plus, will I be able to buy and download the 10 bonus tracks? All of these tracks will be available to purchase as DLC. Stay tuned for details on availability.
Q: Will I be able to purchase the theme separately if I want? No, the theme is exclusive to PlayStation Plus members who pre-order.
Q: I don't like digital games... I like to own discs. Can I buy a standalone Rock Band 4 disc, and will they be available for pre-order? There will be a standalone Rock Band 4 disc available for purchase on October 6; we'll have details on pre-orders for the standalone software soon. We’re working to make game-only pre-orders available at retail and expect to do this before the end of August.
Q: This is a cool offer, but I want to get this game on the Xbox One. When can I pre-order the digital version for Xbox One and will it include these pre-order bonuses? We'll have more details on digital Xbox One pre-orders soon. Stay tuned!
Q: Will the standalone game be available as a digital pre-order on Xbox? Yes! We’re working to make this available through Microsoft but don’t have the exact date yet.

That's pretty nifty. Not necessarily something that would make me say OH MY GOD I need to pre order for these songs but still pretty sweet.

I'll get at least 4, 5 if I decide to get ATR. I wonder if XB1 will get exclusive songs and if so, which ones....

So they're teasing a big band announcement tomorrow. They say we'll love this one.
I can dream. Led Zeppelin.

They said Panama is on disc and DLC is coming in the future. ... Now let's get some Zeppelin on there. Jimmy Page seems like he's been more open to licensing their music lately.

Welp, I've hit a dilemma. I could buy the full band bundle for RB4...but then my dad suggested that since I've played the drums so much that I should try my hand at a real drumkit. Still going to keep an eye on this. My old instruments still work, it's just...they're RB1 instruments so they're showing their age, lol.

I'm kinda sad that they removed the keyboard. I thought it fit well.
