Oh man...I really hope that High Road is also available on PS4. I'd definitely pay for that.

I think they've said that the pre-order DLC was gonna be made available after launch. Which is nice because I really would like those songs but I pre-ordered the band in a box at EB Games due to aging instruments.

I love the game and all, but I'm not gonna upload videos to try and set myself apart from every other fan. Fair point. My entry was a Behind the Music type thing telling the story of my fake band. I did see a lot of videos that were "I've bought every game/DLC/whatever" and that kind of put me off. I didn't mention anything about spending money like that. I did get in though, so that's cool. Bundle should be here next week, which is nice because some financial stuff came after I entered and I had to cancel my preorder. So I'm going to have people over next weekend and have a little pre-launch party. I think they've said that the pre-order DLC was gonna be made available after launch. The bundles are pricey and it sucks that you had to cancel your pre-order, but I bet you'll enjoy this one even more when you get it. Keep us updated on all of the free stuff they send you; between the bundle, DLC, gift cards, music/game (e)magazines, and exclusive signed gear, you should be set.  |

Still working on a 'director's cut' version that's more the way I pictured it because I (surprisingly) filmed too much and really had to cut things to make the 3:30 limit. I didn't even have the bundle pre-ordered - it was just the game itself.  I knew about the possibility that I'd have to lend someone some money, but didn't find out definitely until after I had submitted my video, so I was really hoping. Obviously happy that it worked out, and I realize how fortunate I am that I was picked in that regard. Bundle is the only guarantee right now. The other things are potential rewards I can claim by redeeming points that I earn from doing stuff like tweeting or posting pics and videos to help promote the game. I mean, this is clearly a street team/viral marketing thing, but posting on social media a couple times a week? That's such a minor thing to do. |

So what is everyone's song(s) that's at the top of their most looking forward to playing lists? I just finished listening to Feast and The Famine and man I'm stoked to play that song on drums. And obviously Metropolis Pt. 1 and Passage To Bangkok are tippy top of my list as well

I pre-ordered the band in a box from Best Buy months ago using Gamers Club Unlocked, so that saved me $50 off the price which is awesome. I'm excited about this.

I may have an unwavering disdain for U2 but I know they've got fans that are loving this news. So in that sense I suppose it's kinda neat for them to be appearing in Rock Bamd. Now if they could convince Zeppelin to part with just one of their songs. I really don't mind which one.

I'm not too big of a U2 fan, but they are arguably the biggest rock band in the world right now so this is huge news for the series. Personally, I'm still holding out hope that they can bring Metallica back.

Haha true but at least on the PS4 it sounds like you can do a filtered search for free songs which is what all your purchased DLC would come up as. |
