Looks like pre downloading on any system is gonna suck. It could be worse I suppose. Haha true but at least on the PS4 it sounds like you can do a filtered search for free songs which is what all your purchased DLC would come up as. I couldn't get it to sort by free. Looked like it still sorted by price, but obviously had some previously purchased just marked as free. So now I'm just going page by page through the PSN webstore. Long and tedious process, but we only have to do it once, right?

I will at least 1000 songs Tuesday. Gonna be fantastic, and I can't wait.

I want drums, and for even a basic set people want $100+.
Boo.

I want drums, and for even a basic set people want $100+. Boo. It's kind of out of season, but garage sales dude. I found most of my rock band stuff in garage sales for dirt cheap. Twenty bucks for drums, a guitar, and the first rock band game back when RB2 had just come out. Only problem is finding one with what you want.

I just want a basic one with the four heads and the kick. I don't need cymbals or any of that pro drumming crap. And all the yard sales in my area are clothes, last gaming find I saw was an old copy of Mario Olympics or whatever the hell that was...and I can't imagine why someone would wanna sell that.

Honestly, you don't want the cymbals anyway. Faulty pieces of shit. Anyway, if you're willing to wait prices might go down once the game comes out. People will be buying the new instruments and might realize those things take up a fair amount of space and have to get rid of their old stuff, especially the drums since it's useless to have two kits lying around.

Sorry for the double post here, but how are you guys finding additional songs at all on the PSN store? I hate navigating this thing ever since they changed it a couple of years back. I'm starting to think I'll bite the bullet and just get all of this stuff through the in game store so I don't have to deal with the PS store...

I've already decided that I'm just going to go through the in game RB4 store because it's far too big of a headache for me to find the songs that I own and download them through the XB store.

I'm starting to think I'll bite the bullet and just get all of this stuff through the in game store so I don't have to deal with the PS store... Here's the route that I took to find the songs: 1. Go into the PlayStation Store. 2. Scroll down to "Add-Ons" on the left side of your screen and click Enter (X). 3. Choose "New" Add-Ons. 4. Scroll all the way to the right of the titles and select the "New Add-Ons + see more >" tile. From there, you should see a full list of all the "New Add-Ons" for Rock Band sorted alphabetically at the top of the page, though be advised that most are "Unavailable" for download at this time. You'll want to look for the ones that are labeled "Free" as opposed to just "Purchased". There are ways to sort and/or filter the results, but you're going to have to search through 1000+ tracks to find the majority of them. I maxed out the number of downloads I could have awaiting install at roughly 200, so now I can't add anymore until I get the game Tuesday.

I looked at when the game unlocks and it'll be about 10 pm tomorrow, so I figure since I won't be playing that late I'll just get it installed and download everything for Tuesday. Thanks for the tip anyway though.

IGN gave Rock Band 4 an 8.8, praising it's new features for being exactly the series needed all along but lamented its "weak set list" which I must disagree with.

I think it will be every bit as fun to play as the previous games in the series. I see Metacritic has it at 83/100, which is about what I expected (somewhere in the low-to-mid 80s). GT Reviews on YouTube gave it an 8.6/10. This was my first glimpse at the in-game footage this morning:

So when people were downloading their legacy DLC did you guys run into songs that you know you own but it was still prompting you to purchase? So far I ran into that with The Doors pack, he Bon Jovi Greatest Hits songs and Something From Nothing

So far I ran into that with The Doors pack, he Bon Jovi Greatest Hits songs and Something From Nothing Yeah, I've had that happen a lot. Best thing to do would be to download what you can for free and just wait on everything else. In other news, Harmonix is at Raw tonight for Xavier Woods' YouTube show:

I was raging pretty hard about not being able to download the Bang Camaro and Freezepop stuff cuz it's included in the digital bundle I guess?

Bit the bullet, bought the bundle. Any word on when multiplayer will be added in?
And when we'll have access to our 360 library?

Bit the bullet, bought the bundle. Any word on when multiplayer will be added in? And when we'll have access to our 360 library? The legacy DLC (or a good chunk of it) is available now on the Xbox store. As far as the disc exports from RB 1, 2, Lego, Blitz, etc I don't think we've got word in that regards. As for online, the first big update is supposed to roll out beginning of December so I would be cautiously optimistic that this would include the online play.

Well, I got everything I have downloaded except 2112 which is annoying. Packs are kind of broken right now, but I imagine they'll fix that quick. My instruments worked though so tomorrow I'll be good to go.

Yeah the packs were showing me that I had to purchase but when I went into the pack I could download them individually. I'll go through the store tomorrow to pick up the ones that I missed or couldn't download through the XB store.
