Surprised there's not more talk about one of the biggest nights in UFC history with unarguably one of the biggest Heavyweight fights in history. I've been waiting for this fight for a while. Was heartbroken when it didn't happen at 129 because of Cain's injury, and now it's only two days away and I'm pumped.
Instantly became a fan of Junior after he knocked out Werdum at UFC 90, and since then he's grown to become not only my favourite heavyweight, but my favourite fighter along side GSP. I truly believe he's the #1 Heavyweight in the World, so obviously I'll be rooting and picking him this Saturday night. Cain Velasquez on the other hand is an absolute beast. If he wins, I would not be surprised at all. Dude is no joke and I always enjoy watching him fight. Going to be interesting to see if the layoff is going to effect him at all. Either way, this is one toughhh fight to pick.

I am just pissed that there is only one fight being shown. I mean it is an AWESOME fight but this is going to be a lot of people's first look at the UFC...what if the fight lasts 25 seconds?
it just seems silly to have one fight...they should have added Guida vs. Henderson.

This is exactly why the UFC needs worked fights like Pancrase had. "...and Dos Santos with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb, which of course is a standard BJJ positioning maneuver."

What would it mean if JDS beats Cain and then Brock beats JDS for the belt.... but then Cain ends up getting a rematch and beats Brock for the title? We'd be right back where we are today lol.

I love Brock, don't get me wrong, I LOVE BROCK but even if he manages to somehow get past Reem, I don't think there's a chance in hell he can get defeat JDS for the title. I was worried when they announced JDS and Brock as coaches for TUF because I knew that the coaches would have to fight and being such a Brock fan, I didn't want him to get embarassed by JDS. Dos Santos is one of my favorite heavyweights and quite honestly one of my top 5 favorites OVERALL. If he beats Cain, I have a feeling he'll hold onto that title for awhile. He's a beast. I will be heartbroken if he loses tomorrow.

They are only showing one fight because of a contract conflict with Spike and Fox being a major network.

It'll be a HELL of a fight, that's for sure. I do not believe for a second it will go to the judges. There's no way. Someone is getting KO'd for sure in that one. The first round is going to be ferocious. Hell, it might even be over in the 1st. You never know. I'm really looking forward to it.

I just got done re-watching the Velazquez/Kongo fight and if Cain got rocked 3 times by Kongo, then he's in for one hell of a night against JDS.

That's when Cain's striking sucked.

That's when Cain's striking sucked. And yet, he was able to finish 5 other guys prior by punches either in the 1st or 2nd round. Bottom line, I don't think Cain's striking has EVER sucked, before or after the Kongo fight. You can't possibly judge a certain fighter's striking ability on one fight, come on man... Kongo was the ONLY guy he has ever went to decision with. The rest of the guys on his record he has defeated by TKO (punches).

He finished Denis Stojnić, Jake O'Brien, Brad Morris, Jeremiah Constant, and Jesse Fujarczyk. Real good way to compare these guys to Kongo, lol.
I still see Cain running over Junior. He's going to smother him with strikes, takedowns and clinch strikes that Junior will be dead tired by round 2, and will be finished probably in that round as well.

Geesh...You said Cain's striking sucked and I pointed out the fact that he finished 5 guys off prior due to strikes (punches). If his striking sucked as you say it did, would he have been able to finish off 5 guys in a row due to STRIKES?? Come on now... I don't think you know what you are talking about. And now you think Junior will be done by the 2nd round?? I don't know about that man... I think you are forgetting the fact that Cain hasn't fought in over a year. You don't think that lay-off will play any sort of factor in this fight?? It very well might play a HUGE factor. You never know. Too much time off could be VERY costly. And we've heard the saying "You aren't a true champion until you successfully defend your belt" and this will be Cain's first defense. Will it be a successful one?? Only time will tell. At any rate, ALL questions we have as fans will be answered tomorrow night. We can say this and that and speculate all day long, but everything will be signed, sealed and delivered tomorrow. I can't wait.

LMAO. None of those guys I mentioned are great strikers. Kongo is a pretty good striker, and Cain just pretty much refused to stand with him. Great performance from him though after getting rocked like 4 times. Chael Sonnen didn't fight in well over a year and he completely ing dominated a very active, top guy in Brian Stann. Ring rust doesn't apply to everyone.

Can't wait for tomorrow. I've been looking forward to Cain and Junior locking up for a long time now. I hope this will be the beginning of an epic trilogy between the two.
I've got Cain defeating Junior via third round TKO and Guida getting the UD against Bendo.

How much of a major blow would it be if say either Cain or JDS had to pull out last second?... I can't help but have worries.

How much of a major blow would it be if say either Cain or JDS had to pull out last second?... I can't help but have worries. 'Dana White picks up red phone' The room of men, draped in their fancy suits, all let out a gasp in near perfect unison as Dana confidently nods back at them. "Hello Mr. President...", he boldly spoke into the receiver, "Get me...Couture."

I think Cain will probably go for a lot of take-downs, and if he's successful, could G'n'P his way to victory in the 3rd or 4th. I have absolutely no faith in this prediction though...

Just to clarify. The entire card can be viewed on Facebook, the main event on Fox, which means nothing is PPV tonight?
