Not that I love him either, but exactly who overrates Joe Flacco? Hes one of the most criticized QB's in the league. He gets eaten alive here in Baltimore on a daily basis, as well as ESPN and NFLN. When you're outside of Baltimore, you really don't hear the criticism much. You don't hear people noting that he has been one of the big reasons the Ravens haven't won a Super Bowl lately. Outside of Baltimore nobody even talks about the Ravens. But when they do, Flacco is always mentioned as the weak point. This year Flacco has probably been the biggest weakness for the team, but to blame him for the Ravens not winning the SB the last couple of years is just ignorant. As I recall, last year Flacco was one of the more consistent QB's in the entire league minus the first 2 weeks. The team loses to Pittsburgh in the divisional round because the entire offense goes in to a deep hibernation. Rice fumbles, WR's dropping passes left and right. (Boldin on a TD throw deep in the 4th, and Housh to end the game on a perfectly thrown ball on 4th down) Flacco was bad too, but he made plays at the end, but wasn't given any help. This year has been the worst of his career, but the team still wouldn't be where they are without some clutch Flacco drives. Houston: The Texans have all the momentum in the 4th, and Flacco ends it all with a clutch drive late in the 4th when the team needed it most. Arizona:Leads the team to a GW FG on an excellent deep throw. Pittsburgh:Leads a 92 yard TD drive against the best D in the league. Even after some very disheartening drops from Boldin and Smith. Seattle: Rice gets completely ignored, and Flacco throws over 50 times. His stats look ugly, but the last 10 minutes, he looked excellent. Leads the team to a TD with 3 minutes left, but never sees the ball again because the D chokes against beast mode. I'm not denying the fact that hes been maddeningly inconsistent this year, but people act like this guy is costing the team all by himself, when its just not the case. . Not to mention he might just have the worst OC in the NFL. A comparison of Brees's stats and Flacco's stats with Cam Cameron first 3 years: 1st year: Brees: 17 TD, 16 INT, 76.9 QB Rating Flacco: 14 TD, 12 INT, 80.3 QB Rating 2nd Year thru 11 games (since Brees only played 11): Brees: 11 TD, 15 INT Flacco: 13 TD, 8 INT (ended up with 21 TD, 12 INT, 88.9 QB Rating) 3rd year (I'll throw in Rivers 3rd year as well since it was his one season with Cam):Brees: 27 TD, 7 INT, 104.8 QB Rating Flacco: 25 TD, 10 INT, 93.6 QB Rating Rivers: 22 TD, 9 INT, 92.0 QB Rating Cam Cameron is a stubborn OC, and never changes his gameplan during a game. It doesn't matter if its working or not. He makes players adjust to his playbook instead of using them to their strengths. His conservativeness rubs off on the entire offense. I'm not saying Flacco is as good as Rivers and Brees, but I'm very certain he becomes a much better QB with an OC who knows how to use this offense. And he certainly is not overrated.

Elway is going to work with him in the off-season, and I don't think he would give up his precious golf time if he didn't see something in him. If Tebow doesn't progress by next season, then Denver needs to invest in a veteran QB and move Tebow into a running position. We also need a better offensive line. Tebow isnt a 1 year project. You will never know what you have with the guy unless you begin to build around his skill set. That means you need some great TEs that can block and catch. You need a power RB and a speedy RB. You need WRs that can accept their roles on the team and you need a fantastic pass rushing D. Tebow doesnt stretch the field vertically. So if you put the pieces he needs to be effective, another QB isnt going to flourish with those pieces and will be EXTREMELY handicapped. Its a gamble.....but you cant have your cake and eat it too. You're either all in or you fold. Otherwise, both Tebow, the veteran backup and/or the draft pick will all fail.

Well, at least going into tonight, the Falcons have already clinched a playoff spot, even though they did it without beating a single good team. I think they lose tonight, and win their last game. Didn't they beat the Lions IN Detroit? That's a good win. It's going to be a very good game. I'm taking Atlanta tonight.

Say what you want about Matt Ryan, but he's a top 10 QB FOR SURE. I'm liking him better each game.

Not since Montana have I had to watch a qb sodomize the falcons defense twice a year like this. It just makes me physically ill.

I don't mean that he's overrated on the level of some other guys, but I've seen people rank him above Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Matt Stafford and other quarterbacks who are just blatantly better in every way. He's not some vastly overrated piece of crapor anything, but I just think some people are a bit quick to put him as a potentially elite QB down the road. Personally I don't see it.

Can't say I've seen those rankings. If anything I've seen people compare him to Sanchez, which is definitely underrating him.

Brees deserves MVP just as much as Rodgers. Especially if he breaks the record.
yeah, I said it

Rodgers is your MVP, his numbers compared to Brees/Brady are so much better, and the teams record is better etc. Not even close. Rodgers should be close to unanimous.

My claims were pretty homerish but I think Brees should at least get a few votes and Rodgers shouldn't win unanimously.
Brees needs to stop chucking the ball, just wait and get the record next week.

Brees is definitely a threat to Rodgers' MVP.

Timmy Brady is only 190 yards from the record too, dayum.
Is he playing against the Bills?

Patriots actually have something to play for, do the Saints next week or is there a good chance Brees rests?

Reminds me of when Culpepper went nuts and Manning outshined him.

Won my league championship and won $400. That's pretty sweet. It all came down to MNF game. I had Graham\Turner and he had Roddy White. I won by 5 pts.
