Good game by the Giants. Absolutely awful game by the Cowboys. Just so many poop plays. Romo takes the blame again. ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) the media. Romo gets a lot of man points tonight. Dude did his best to get the win with a bad hand. His defense blew, offense couldnt catch. Totally not on Romo. Gained a crap ton of respect. But Eli, you son of a gun.

I still think it's kinda funny that one of the Giants fans on here that said the Redskins are better than them because they were swept. C'mon, man.

Lol Kliquid, the Cowboys secondary just blows..that's why this 1 dimensional receiving core had a big game. Manningham's been playing hurt all season, and we've only had all 3 receivers on this team play at the same time a sad (3) times this season..when all three are playing healthy, they're good. Lol Ralpho, 32nd ranked pass defense in the league, love your stupid sarcasm..we just stepped up against a division rival, our secondary still sucks...and lastly, lol Gilbride, almost ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ed the game up by going super conservative for a quarter and a half, luckily Eli said ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) it and went no huddle. Stewart, last year the Redskins were a fumble over-turned away from beating us in Week 17, then they swept us this year, they have our numbers and we match up horrible against them (stingy defense, use of tight ends and running backs in the pass game, along with a strong run game against our poopty run defense) I don't know about you but I'm old school and once a team beats you two times in a row (almost 3), in the fashion that they have..you know it's not a fluke. We're just peaking right now and everything is clicking on all cylinders, nothing's changed..we're still missing key players and we still have a suspect defense, but it's the playoffs..and all the stats go out the window, so who knows... I honestly think we could beat Atlanta next week just because were at home and the players might want to leave on a high note after not making the playoffs two years in a row, but once we go to Green Bay or San Francisco, this ride could/should be over. Okay..in all seriousness, we were a bullpoop call away from beating San Fran and a bullpoop call away from beating Green Bay, so we could easily win..but who knows. I also <3 Eli Manning..some of those throws he made tonight man ...wow.

Also...did anybody other than me laugh their ass off when Cruz scored the 74 yard touchdown, did his salsa dance and the NBC crew played salsa music? Don't think that's ever been done before.. Just to settle this whiny defensive bullcrap about the Cowboys, QBs with the worst pass defenses this season:
Eli Rodgers Brady Brees
What do all of these QBs have in common? Their teams are in the playoffs with terrible defenses and below average rushing games.
brb Austin, Bryant, Witten, decent rushing game..and you all can't seem to comprehend that Romo isn't doing small things to take the game into his hands and win it, his stats tonight wouldn't have been the same if we didn't go super conservative with the stupid preventive defensive calls at the end of the first half and during the 3rd quarter. But keep blaming the defense..Romo HAS to take some blame for not evening out the playing field with Eli, you can't go 3 and out after the other team drives down the field and scores a touchdown.

Just to settle this whiny defensive bullcrap about the Cowboys, QBs with the worst pass defenses this season: Eli Rodgers Brady Brees What do all of these QBs have in common? Their teams are in the playoffs with terrible defenses and below average rushing games. I'm sick and tired of your dumb ass coming in here and spouting off with your stupid bullpoop. Romo threw for 31 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 4,184 yards and had a 102.5 QB rating. He had a total of 10 touchdown passes and 1 interception in the final 5 games of the Cowboys' season (he missed almost all of Week 16). The Cowboys went 1-4 in those games. To put the Cowboys not making the playoffs on Romo's shoulders shows how completely ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing ignorant you are when it comes to the sport of football. One guy can only do so much on a football team. When he's throwing up a 10-1 touchdown to INT ratio, his teammates need to step up and make some ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing plays. Do you know how many turnovers the Cowboys' defense forced in the final FIVE games of the season combined? TWO!!! TWO ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ING TURNOVERS IN FIVE GAMES! THAT IS THE PROBLEM. Romo threw for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns with zero picks to Manning's 400 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 pick in the first game... And they still lost. 34 points on offense and they LOST. That is not an NFL caliber defense. That's ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing embarrassing and inexcusable. There is absolutely nothing more that Romo could have done that night... And yet, your dumb ass is still in here bashing him. Shut the ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) up already. brb Austin, Bryant, Witten, decent rushing game..and you all can't seem to comprehend that Romo isn't doing small things to take the game into his hands and win it, his stats tonight wouldn't have been the same if we didn't go super conservative with the stupid preventive defensive calls at the end of the first half and during the 3rd quarter. But keep blaming the defense..Romo HAS to take some blame for not evening out the playing field with Eli, you can't go 3 and out after the other team drives down the field and scores a touchdown. Well let's see here... Miles Austin missed six games Dez Bryant missed the equivalent of two games Laurent Robinson didn't play two games Felix Jones missed four games DeMarco Murray missed four games You go out and make up these stats that aren't even correct (about Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz missing games -- Cruz played in every game and Nicks played in all but one) and then complain about your ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing third string WR and JAKE BALLARD missing a few games. WAH!!!! The Cowboys missed significant playing time from every one of their big playmakers on offense with the exception of Jason Witten. Not only that, but Romo played through broken ribs and a PUNCTURED ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ING LUNG early in the year himself. The bottom line is that the Cowboys aren't a good team. Blaming Tony Romo for their problems is just proof that you are the trollish intellectually- disabled person that everyone has said you are all season. Just because you're too much of a homer to admit that Romo is a good quarterback doesn't mean that he isn't. TONY ROMO'S STAT-LINE IN 2011 (team missed playoffs)4,184 yards passing 31 touchdowns 10 interceptions 66.3% completions 102.5 QB rating ELI MANNING'S STAT-LINE IN 2007 (team won Super Bowl)3,238 yards passing 23 touchdowns 20 interceptions 56.1% completions 73.9 QB rating ------------ I can't believe I have to say this yet again, but the NFL is a team sport. It's amazing how people just completely disregard how well individual players perform because their team doesn't play up to their level. Meanwhile when a player like Manning gets carried to a Super Bowl, he's the hero. It's ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing absurd.

I'm sick and tired of you being a blind Tony Romo dick rider, you're blatantly ignoring the fact that ALMOST EVERY QUARTERBACK WITH A CRAPPY DEFENSE HAS TO GO THROUGH THE EXACT SAME THING! The Giants gave up 31 points in that Week 14 game, that's ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing inexcusable as well. Eli still came back and scored 15 points in 3 minutes, AND WITH 52 SECONDS LEFT THEY STILL LET ROMO DRIVE DOWN THE FIELD! How ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing disgusting is that? There's nothing Romo could have done? How about make a couple plays down the stretch and put your team on your back, you keep linking the Cowboys defense to Romo, which makes no sense at all..because AS PROVEN, OTHER QUARTERBACKS GO THROUGH WORSE BUT STILL FIGHT THROUGH IT. Bullpoop statistics..LOL, Victor Cruz didn't start the first 3 games of the season you fool..he had no playing time, just like what you said about Lauren Robinson, Hakeem Nicks missed two games on the stat sheet but started one game and left after 5 minutes in the first quarter AND WAS INJURED ALL YEAR, Manningham missed 5 games, and started 2 others where he left in the first quarter as well, and one game where he had about 3 snaps, he was hurt all year, go look it up. Dominek Hixon, one of Eli's trusted targets went on the IR after Week 2 as well. Eli was without Bradshaw (who) missed 4 games and played hurt all year and Jacobs missed 2 games, he had a patchwork offensive line and was running for his life for more than 14 weeks, ELI'S RECEIVERS ALSO DROPPED MORE PASSES THAN THE COWBOYS RECEIVERS DID THIS YEAR! The actual bottom line is that Romo is a good quarterback who could have done more for his team, and you're just being a typical QB dick riding homer who won't put any blame on his quarterback, he played with a broken rib and punctured ribs, who gives a flying ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ? Eli's been playing with planter fasciatis for 2 years now, never hear about that right? Matter of fact..Romo doesn't even use these injuries as an excuse like you do, which is respectful and I commend him for that. You really do not understand how crazy your Romo dick riding is, funny thing about all of this was how you were trying to say the Cowboys had to go through more injuries (JUST ON OFFENSE) than the Giants..there's a statistic that I'll find later showing that no team has suffered more injuries than the Giants this year other than TWO teams in NFL history..You did not miss no where near the play makers that we did this year. NO ING WAY NEAR

Jesus Riley fan just stop it. Didn't you say the Giants had the best D-line in the NFL? That means they SHOULD get QB pressure which means that the secondary has an easier job to do. As Kliquid said it's a TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAM game. Also on the injury front I'm pretty sure St. Louis had the most players on IR so ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) off with that crap excuse already. No one is saying Eli is playing bad, but all you do is come in spout intellectually- disabled crap and then ignore all facts and info when responded to. You said Hakeem Nicks would turn into a top 5 WR LOL he wasn't even the #1 WR on your team. You say Romo is bad when him and Eli had similar stats this season and for their careers Romo has had much better stats. Of course you'll point to Eli winning a Super Bowl though as Kliquid pointed out that season Eli was pretty bad. You say Romo could have done more but really how? Should he have tried playing CB for them? Maybe replace DeMarco Murray? Romo had a +17 TD to turnover ratio Eli had a +8 TD to turnover ratio Just stop, it gets old REALLY old.

Quoting things I said before the regular season doesn't help out this argument at all, it has nothing to do with what we're talking about, obviously the Giants don't have the best pass rush due to Tuck being hurt all year and Osi playing a whopping 9 games, the Giants secondary is the 4th worst in the league, and Hakeem Nicks has been playing on a bum knee all year and has caught for over almost over 1,200 yards..better than last year, nice logic buddy, just wait until he plays a full season, he's still only 23. Cruz just had a..well, historical season you could say. I still say Nicks is our #1 threat, and most defenses think so too, hence the double teams 24/7..and Cruz getting all the 1 on 1's. Talk about ignoring facts and info..LMAO. and Yawn..really? This has nothing to do with Eli Dexter, how about you actually read the argument..I'm not trying to make Eli look better than he already is like Kliquid is with Romo, I'm actually done defending him because he's finally earned respect from you guys which is good and he backs it up so there's no need for me to juice his ego up. When the hell did I say Romo was bad? Again..go read before you comment or risk looking like an idiot, I've said countless times that he's good but could have done better. Point to me once where Eli cost this team a win this year? Nope, you can't..I can point to the Jets game, the first Eagles game, the game in Arizona (Perfect example) and if I'm being a nitpicker which I am..the Patriots game. In all those games Romo could have done better and led his team to a win, you talk about defense but in the Arizona game the Dallas defense actually played well, and I can point out many other times when the Dallas defense gave Romo chances to win a game and he didn't take full advantage of it. All I'm saying is..He's a great quarterback but put some ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing blame on the guy, or you'll keep seeing .500 seasons/one and done in the playoffs. Keep it comin', it really does get old Dexter. EDIT: The IR thing with the Rams..um, we still had more players missing games this season and the players we do have on IR were mostly starters and key backups (in the secondary). Nobody has had players miss more games than us this season.

2 things: 1. Does Riley fan play for the Giants? A whole lot of "we" being thrown around there. 2. You are TOTALLY WRONG about the Giants missing more players than anyone else: The Jacksonville Jaguars have done something I am quite sure has to be an NFL record this season. They have placed 31 players on injured reserve and/or waived players with injury settlements. The Elias Sports Bureau, which has the Jags for 26 players on IR (the difference being several players who were waived with injury settlements, which I count as players lost for the year with injuries), said Jacksonville has the most players on IR of any team in football in the last 10 years, at least. The amazing thing is the defensive backfield. Twelve corners and safeties lost due to injury. That's almost worth an exclamation point. I've never heard of any position group getting ravaged like that before. Check out the list of the 31 lost Jaguars: OL: Eben Britton, Kevin Haslam, Bradley Vierling; RB: Rashad Jennings, Richard Murphy; WR: Mike Sims-Walker, Brian Robiskie; TE: Zach Miller, Martin Rucker; DL: Aaron Kampman, Austen Lane, Matt Roth, John Chick, Aaron Morgan, D'Anthony Morgan, Steve Wesley, Mark Schiechl; LB: Clint Session, Kyle Bosworth; DB: Rashean Mathis, Ashton Youboty, Darcel McBath, Rod Isaac, Derek Cox, Courtney Greene, T.J. Heath, Chris Prosinski, William Middleton, Terrell Whitehead, David Jones, Scotty McGee. Read more: sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/peter_king/01/01/week.17/index.html#ixzz1iJej3i1A

Riley fan is obviously the biggest homer on here, so I don't see why you guys waste your time arguing with him.
And the Rams had 16 players on injured reserve. The Giants? 13. Neither can be compared to the Jags, though.

You guys are hilarious.
Go play with wrestling figures or some sh*t.
In all honesty, every argument being presented here is flawed. Alex, every single poster here other than Giants fans hate Eli Manning. You are not going to break any ground in trying to argue for him, because it's just not going to happen. It's just not. Kliquid is giving him to props he deserves, but let's face it, these guys are just replying like this to rile you up (no pun intended), just to get a rise out of you. So going on angry tangents isn't helping your cause.
Comparing Eli and Romo this year is hard. You bring up the turnover ratio, which is legitimate. But how often did opponents know the Giants had to throw the ball? Their run game is pretty much not there. I'm not excusing interceptions, but I watched every single game this year, and Eli's picks weren't inexcusable at all. This isn't the Eli of old, and anyone trying to say that or argue that he isn't a top 10, if not top 6 QB this season is just doing so out of a personal bias against the dude. The Giants were tied for the league lead in dropped passes going into Week 17, and I saw Nicks drop 2 TDs in the Skins game. There's your 30th and 31st touchdown. But, it happens. I'm sure Romo had some stupid drops.
The difference between the two is that Romo, for a long time, had a solid run game that he could lean on, and that opened up his offense, and let him play a much more balanced game. Hence, less interceptions. Eli didn't have that, he's had to carry the Giants offense for pretty much the entire season.
Both defenses for the Cowboys and Giants have been disappointing. They had some major injuries on defense, and it hurt, because Aaron Ross isn't half as good as Terrell Thomas (although he's overrated too), and losing Jon Goff at MLB really threw things off in the linebacker group. I don't know why they're playing so well now, but I have a feeling it's because of the defensive line playing out of their minds. Anytime you get good pressure, your defense is going to look good.
The only thing that matters at this point is that Eli and the Giants won the NFCE and are in the playoffs, and the Cowboys aren't. That's what it comes down to, and I think the Giants are a dangerous team to anybody in the NFC, sans the Saints.
And seriously, do you guys really have to go and try and piss Alex off, it's really immature. I know he's arguing like a child for the most part, but you should know better. And Ralpho, I don't like your name so I'm going to call you Angelo.
Scratch that, it's Jello Shots. How about that J Shots?

I thought the Cowboys were going to come back last night, I was scared. Luckily Gilbride stopped being so conservative and they put it away. I think the Giants can beat the Falcons, but who knows which team will show up.
