Hardy gets 10 days, and you guys think thats pathetic..? As an adult who proudly proclaims to be a part of the IWC, I am heavily offended.. That man has risked his life, his health and his career for your viewing pleasure for near on 15 years. He appears in court charged for something im sure he must regret, with his future completely in the balance. He gets a limited sentance, and you people think you have the right to be angered and demand the book is brought down harder..? Nah, the only thing pathetic about this is the geeky virgin smarks, who have probabily never even had a detention at school, sitting behind their computer screen and wishing for Jeff Hardy to be separated from his family and spend a larger portion of his life in jail. That is seriously f*cked up to wish that upon anybody. Your the same people who think you have the right to smear Chris Benoits name. Your the same people who think you have the right to stalk and hassle wrestlers. And now, your the people who think you have the right to opinionise if somebody goes to jail or not. Have any of you lot ever been to prison before? I heavily doubt it, and I would be extremely surprised if I was proven wrong. Im not even that much of a Hardy fan, but I swear if I met some of you people in person, I would love to f*ck you up. Simply because if you have such a grim view of an entertainers downfall, it speaks volumes about how prejustice you must be to the general public. Not that anybody would want to be friends with such evil little sh*ts anyways. This isnt even about being a 'wrestling fan', this is about somebodys life. I know dissing the Hardys is the in-thing at the moment (alongside Zack Ryder and TNA bashing) but some of you need to know where to draw the line. Real talk. Sort your lives out. Note - This isnt aimed at anybody on this board in particular, Ive been floating around a few forums and the universal reaction to this news is the same. And it angered me.

Or maybe - just maybe - we want to see people punished due to their crime, not their fame? 10 days in jail, "whenever he can" isn't a fair punishment. But why..? He isnt a rapist, peadophile or murderer, hes just another wrestler with a drug problem, so what exactly has he done to YOU personally? Quite frankly its none of our business what choices wrestlers make in their personal life. It amazes me when fans of the product would rather see a talent get fired or locked up than see them wrestle. It makes the business you enjoy look bad.. Cut off your nose to spite your face, so to speak. Ive had friends in the same situation as Jeff is in now, and as much as theyve got themselves into trouble, I wouldnt dream of befriending them. So why the hell do fans feel the need to jump on the Hardy bashing moral bandwagon as soon as a Hardy does something wrong? At the end of the day, if it wasnt for the internet, you wouldnt know anything about this. So have a word with yourself. I have lots of respect for the Jeff Hardy fans on this forum who have stuck by their hero throughout all of this. Everytime something like this happens, 75% of the board turn into smug pricks, so good on you. I hope he comes back and wins the TNA World Title, just to see everybody go apepoop. F*ck your opnions, after the stressful year hes had, he deserves it. Had it been anyone here we would have had the book thrown at us. Hardy is no better than anyone of us. So, yeah 10 days is an insult if you ask me. The fact that some people think wrestlers are above the law sickens me. Oh they put their lives on the line for us!" What is your point? I deliver nuclear meds everyday... I ACTUALLY help people... I put my life on the line for them by getting in a car and drving with the rest of the morons out there in the world. If I did this though.. I should not get off any less than someone who works at McDonalds. Its BS people thinking wrestlers are on a higher pedestal than us " normal folk" and above the law. Some other idiot on here does it as well and I am not saying his name. And damn right we have the right to smear Crspin WAHHS name... he killed his family in cold blood and I dont care what made him do it or what he did in wrestling. The point is he did and when you do something like that what you did in wrestling at that point is kind of meaningless.

I also love the fact that when someone want to prove a point to rest of us "smarks", we're all suddenly virgin, pimpled 14 year olds who play D&D and collect figures 24/7.

The "real talk, sort your lives out" comments made me chuckle. How high and mighty! Consider what you're advocating, I think perhaps it's you that needs to re-evaluate his perspective. Nothing Ive said is 'high and mighty' in the slightest, I am speaking from an equal perspective. You are the ones who believe you could have made a more accurate decision than a high court judge has made, based solely on the fact you are wrestling fans. If any of you had a clue what you were talking about, you would know Hardy hasnt been given a reduced sentance. Any common drug dealer would be sentanced the same, yet 9 times out of 10 they wouldnt be able to afford 100 Grand, so they serve longer in Jail. And as far as the '2 year wait' is concerned, that is also extremely common.

My brother got caught with intent to distribute, and so have a couple uncles of mine. I can say that ten days is quite the gracious sentence.

I live in NC. My friend got in trouble for pretty much the same thing. He served 1 night in jail and got probation.
Money talks.
Jeff Hardy has money.
I wish him the best, for the sake of his family.

This is 100% truth. Wow. Its amazing how much disrespect some of you lot have. It really speaks volumes about your maturity levels and sense of moral hierchy. Try turning off your computer for a few years, and stop watching wrestling. Then get back into wrestling and come back on this forum and read conversations like this.. Thats what I did last year, and it opened my eyes to quite alot. It made me realise that sometimes peoples opinions on these forums can be so distorted from the world they are supposed to be living in. How many people here think Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain etc deserved to die for being junkies? Its the same theory, like I said before, I dont understand why any WWE/TNA fan would perfer to see Hardy in jail than in the ring. What kind of martyrs are you? Sort it out.

Murdering your family and topping yourself is 110% wrong, I agree with that, but I have enough respect for what Benoit did in the ring not to publicly disrespect him on the internet. Or "smear his name", so to speak. Now if your moral public speaking opinion truely takes priority over your enjoyment of the product or respect for the performers, then I am afraid it is YOU who needs to open your eyes.

I'm an adult who goes out and deals with people, ALL KINDS of people for 10-12 hours a day. I know how the world works. What's this disrespect you speak of? Disrespect? Because I'd like to see a guy who clearly can't get it right on his own forced into position of correction for more than 10 days? Let me tel you something. If this guy has the balls to do what he did at Victory Road, than he doesn't respect us. He doesn't respect YOU. The fans. The people who put the money in his pocket so could dye his goofy hair to begin with. He's shown time and time again that he doesn't appreciate any of the opportunities that his fans have given him, or the company he works for. F*** what he says. Actions speak louder. As far as Whinehouse and Cobaine goes, they reaped a life of turmoil and addiction. Their deaths were a result of such.

It shouldn't come into my mind and bother me whenever I see a picture of him. You make it seems so easy to sweep under the rug because of how great he was in the ring. Some things you can't separate. To tie this in with Jeff, the problem isn't nearly as severe, but the principal is still there. Jeff has spat in the face of his fans, his employers, and his entire profession with his actions. Now I'm supposed to ignore all that and remain of fan because...?

He did really bad things outside of the ring, but as I said before, Jeff has given a slap in the face to many fans before.

That is what I hate from so many people, that they try to deny the good things he did.

Do I think he deserved to die? No. But, I don't exactly feel sorry for him. Same with Winehouse. The saddest part of it all is how the media glorifies junkie turds in the first place.

The kind of person who thinks a man deserves to rot in jail for costing him $40. Yes, what Jeff did was disrespectful to the fans, but he has been out of public eye for months. The sad thing is, even if Victory Road never happened, this story would still have broke. And people like you would still wish a longer sentance of misery on Jeff Hardy simply because he is battling his personal demons just like every other human being. But hey, hes a pro wrestler, therefore you have the right to judge. I figured an 'adult' like yourself would be able to understand my frustration. But I guess age and maturity means nothing when your mind is already warped with moral hierchy.

But I guess my moral fiber is a but too thick because you'll never hear me endorse him again after doing that. The thing Jeff has going for him is that he's still alive and he has a shot at redemption. Does he deserve it? Sure, everyone does. But until he gets his stuff together, he deserves to be on the end of complaints from angry fans who used to enjoy him.

Well, he got busted for dope and got a ten day sentence... but he can go a swanton to its all gravy when you do something like become a dope head or murder your family it shits on your legacy get over it... I suppose you put wrestling above human life...
